Many people immediately begin to want to know the ratings number after Raw, which is important. However these days we consume content alot differently than in 1999 or even 2009. Quick clips on the YouTube is what most people would look for if they missed the show.

It’s my belief that this is an accurate gauge of the casual fan. The fan that didn’t DVR the show or won’t set aside the three hours on another night. However want to still know what’s going on, as a PPV is approaching.

Here are the current YouTube views for Raw:

1. Brock Lesnar brutalizes an injured Roman Reigns: 3.6 Million Views
2. Ronda Rousey meets Absolution: 2.6 Million Views
3. John Cena vs. Kane: 1.6 Million Views
4. Bayley and Sasha Banks backstage brawl: 1.3 Million Views
5. John Cena’s unfiltered rant on The Undertaker 1.2 Million Views
6. HHH & Stephanie train for WrestleMania: 977K Views
7. Braun Strowman vs. Sheamus: 865k Views
8. Miz & The Miztourage set a trap for Rollins and Balor: 708K Views
9. Ronda Rousey trains for WrestleMania: 512K Views
10. Nia Jax vs. Mickie James: 395K Views

This week Lesnar, Reigns, Cena and Rousey are in the top 3 again. This isn’t a coincidence, though numbers are down they are still exceptional. The big winners this week are Bayley and Sasha Banks. They topped 1 million views for a storyline that isn’t paying off at WrestleMania. It shows that people are investing and ready to see this explode. Some other takeaways are Strowman’s numbers nearly doubling by wrestling Sheamus as opposed to Cesaro. Also it’s too to see Miz, Rollins and Balor back over 700K views, these three guys together should never drop below that.

The big loser this week is Elias with just 170K views. Elias gets quite a bit of time every week and shouldn’t ever be sub 300k regardless of his opponent. This throws a red flag to me that maybe he’s not as globally over as some believe.
