Many people immediately begin to want to know the ratings number after Raw, which is important. However these days we consume content alot differently than in 1999 or even 2009. Quick clips on the YouTube is what most people would look for if they missed the show.

It’s my belief that this is an accurate gauge of the casual fan. The fan that didn’t DVR the show or won’t set aside the three hours on another night. However still want to know what’s going on, as a PPV is approaching.

Here are the current YouTube views for Raw:

1. Ronda Rousey locks Mickie James in armbar : 2.7 Million Views
2. Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar meet before Greatest Royal Rumble: 2.2 Million Views
3. Strowman/Lashley take on Owens/Zayn: 1.3 Million Views
4. Nia Jax, Natalya, Banks, Bayley and Ember Moon vs. Bliss, Mickie, & Riott Squad: 937k Views
5. Kevin and Sami show premiere: 754k Views
6. Baron Corbin ambushes No Way Jose: 666k Views
7. Woken Matt and Bray Wyatt vs. The Ascension: 642k Views
8. Rollins and Balor vs. Axel and Dallas:  577k Views
9. Titus Worldwide vs. Ziggler and McIntyre: 547k Views
10. Sami Zayn feels the effects of Strowman and Lashleys onslaught: 562k views

What do you know, water is wet, the sky is blue, grass is green and Rousey, Lesnar and Reigns sit on top again. If you wonder why WWE pushes these stars to the top, it’s because their segment nearly doubles interest than a segment with four known main eventers. This week’s winner is Ronda Rousey, she has consistently proven her interest level and now sits atop the rankings at number one. The women as a whole did extremely well with the “throw away” 10 woman main event nearly getting one million views. These things if nothing else prove, while you may not have interest in something, millions do. One last positive note is Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn who had three videos in the top 10 and all did over 500k. This is what they will do for Raw, fill multiple segments at a high interest level.

I don’t understand the disinterest in Elias however it’s real. Many have already proclaimed him the next big star of 2018. Pump the brakes, even when put him into a match with flashy former U.S. and NXT champion Bobby Roode they couldn’t hit 350k views. Coming in at 321k and being a full 100k views behind Mahal and Gable says a lot. Even backstage segments with Dallas and Axel did better numbers, “trying to form a Club” did 347k and “forming the new Sheld” did 395k views. While Elias elicits a reaction live, this audience couldn’t have less interest in him.
