Smackdown Live is only a two hour show and tends not to have the numbers Raw does. A good base number for Smackdown Live is 400k views. Anything that is given time, story and purpose should post atleast 400k views. Let’s take a look at the highest viewed clips of the week from Smackdown Live:

1. Naomi Helps Jimmy Uso Defeat Rowan: 1.5 million views
2. Big Cass Crashes Miz TV: 1 million views
3. Charlotte & Carmella Contract Signing: 1 million views
4. Randy Orton vs. Shelton Benjamin: 896k views
5. Music Video For Shinsuke Nakamura New Theme: 892k views
6. A.J. Styles/The Club vs. Nakamura/Rusev Day: 878k Views
7. Asuka/Becky Lynch vs. IIconics: 637k views

The big winner this week is Naomi and The Usos. WWE has struck something with this fanbase that makes them want to see this real life couple/family on screen. Last week their video did 2 million views and while having less views overall, it was the most watched Smackdown Live video. I wouldn’t be surprised if the WWE doubles down on Naomi/Usos segments next week. There is intrigue in the women’s divison on the Blue Brand, a contract signing and tag match did over 1.5 million total views. That is a great sign for all involved. While Big Cass and Miz doing 1 million views didn’t surprise me, the main event doing less than Orton and Benjamin certainly did.

The only loser I can come up with is lack of interest in backstage segments. The New Day, The Bar, Samoa Joe and even Daniel Bryan all did poor backstage or pre taped numbers.
