WWE News: Paige Announces Match For SmackDown Live Tomorrow
SmackDown Live General Manager Paige has been really busy since being announced as the GM the night after she announced her retirement on RAW.
Recently, Shinsuke Nakamura took to Twitter to hype his Last Man Standing Match at Money In The Bank and mentioned the number ten, which invoked a reaction out of ‘The Perfect 10’ himself, Tye Dillinger. You can check out the Twitter exchange below:
How high can you count? Or will you rise before answer? 1..2..10. No one is good all the time. #LastManStanding pic.twitter.com/DgcPSPxKJd

Did someone say…..10?
Sorry “friend” but It’s the ones who talk 💩, that are always the most afraid. https://t.co/C5g1iUey6r

Their recent Twitter exchange wouldn’t stop there though. During the heated exchange, Dillinger took shots at Nakamura for his recent use of low blows by referring to him as a ‘Nutcracker’. This exchange led to Paige announcing on Twitter today a match between Shinsuke Nakamura and Tye Dillinger for tomorrow’s Smackdown Live.
Hiya boys! It sounds like you've both had some time on your hands this weekend BUT tomorrow is Tuesday and that means I make the rules…soooo I'm making it official: @ShinsukeN vs. @WWEDillinger on #SDLive.

What some fans may not know is that this won’t be the first time these two have wrestled each other. It was back in 2016 that they met for the first time ever, when they were both in NXT. You can check out the match below:
Both Shinsuke Nakamura and Tye Dillinger were recently called up to the main roster last year, the Tuesday night after Wrestlemania 33. While Nakamura has gone on to find some success, feuding with the likes of Dolph Ziggler, Jinder Mahal and currently with AJ Styles. Nakamura has also had multiple shots at the WWE Championship as well. Tye Dillinger on the other hand, is still trying to find out where he fits in on the blue brand. Since his Smackdown Live debut, Dillinger has been featured sporadically with two high-profile matches for the United States Championship.
Recently, Tye Dillinger made a surprise return at an NXT Live Event which you can read about here.
Make sure to tune into Smackdown Live this Tuesday 8/7c on USA Network.

Former WWE Star Reveals How Company Tests Wrestlers for an “Attitude Problem”
A former WWE star took to social media to explain, in brief, how WWE evaluates its talent to determine whether they have an “attitude problem.” The post offered a glimpse into the company’s behind-the-scenes vetting process, suggesting that behavior and professionalism are actively monitored during a wrestler’s time with the promotion.
While the explanation was limited, the revelation underscores WWE’s focus on maintaining locker-room culture and managing talent dynamics. Fans and industry observers may read the post as further evidence that character and conduct behind the curtain can be as consequential as in-ring performance.

WWE Backlash Match Sparks “Clone War” Debate in Wrestling Community
Wrestling fans and insiders are abuzz after a match at WWE Backlash was accused of “copycatting” a formula previously used by an independent wrestler, a situation some are calling a new “clone war” in the industry. The controversy highlights growing concerns about creative overlap between major promotions and the indie scene.
The debate raises questions about originality and recognition, with observers wondering whether mainstream companies should acknowledge or adapt indie ideas more transparently. As the story spreads, fans and performers alike are watching to see how promotions handle influence, credit, and creative borrowing moving forward.
