Today, WWE released its earnings report for the first quarter of the year, followed by a conference call with Chairman Vince McMahon and Co-Presidents George Barrios and Michelle Wilson. Below are some highlights:

• 7 million mobile game installs
• Live Event revenue was down, reportedly due to international events being in a different quarter, as well as this year’s Royal Rumble being in a smaller venue (2017 was at the Alamodome in San Antonio)
• A raise in revenue is projected for quarter two

The call was then opened up for questions:

• WWE’s television plans for RAW and SmackDown Live will be announced between now and September
• Quarter two revenue raises are expected in large part due to the partnership with Saudi Arabia, but little details were revealed
• Barrios notes that Saudi Arabia has the highest per capita of YouTube users on the planet. Also they are still working out how many events there they will hold.
• Wilson was asked about the women not being allowed to be at the Greatest Royal Rumble and reiterated WWE’s statement on respecting other cultures. She also noted that they hope to be part of the social change over the course of their 10-year relationship with Saudi Arabia.
• Regarding price tiers for WWE Network, noting that a lowered tier would give access to content, but a highered tier would come with the same access plus benefits. No details on the benefits.
