Since his re-arrival to the WWE flagship show Monday Night RAW on April 16th, Drew McIntyre and his potential has become a hot button topic among some of us here at The Chairshot with a handful of opinions (Franklin Steele even did it twice, which you can check out here and here). Today, it looks like Drew may be high on someone else’s radar as well.

According to the WrestleVotes Twitter account, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is reportedly “very high” on McIntyre:

EA’s Take: Of course we can’t confirm any of this, but I will say that this account has had some solid info in the past, so take it for what it’s worth. Personally, I could see it being factual because we know Vince was high on McIntyre initially during his first run as well, which is why he was given the whole ‘Chosen One’ moniker. There’s no denying that Drew’s a different man now and I mean, if I’m staying on par with an experiment our Greg DeMarco has been running, I’d go ahead and say Drew McIntyre IS a man. Not a boy…not a guy…anyways. I’ve said all along I’d like to see Ziggler and Drew act as more of a HBK/Diesel, rather than be a tag team. Hopefully that’s the direction, but early on it appears as if they’re going the tag team route.
