Today marked the first day of June tryouts for WWE hopefuls at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, which we’re getting glimpses of via the NXT Instagram account. Among the 45 participants today are a couple of names that wrestling fans may be familiar with as former IMPACT Wrestling stars Robbie E. and Chelsea Green (formerly known as Laurel Van Ness) are both in attendance for the three day long workouts.

Robbie, real name Robert Strauss, is a 34-year old, 17-year veteran and former TNA X-Division Champion, TNA Television Champion and two-time TNA Tag Team Champion with Jessie Godderz as The Bro-Mans. Robbie first arrived in TNA in 2010, but left the company last September. He’s also worked for Chaotic Wrestling, New York Wrestling Connection, DDT-Pro and competed in a tournament last year for Pro Wrestling NOAH while under contract to IMPACT.

Chelsea Green is 27-years old and has been working for four years, however would be most known to WWE fans for her time on Tough Enough in 2015, the same season that featured current SmackDown Live Superstars Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville, as well as NXT Superstar The Velveteen Dream. The one-time IMPACT Knockouts Champion is also known these days for dating WWE’s Zack Ryder, but has also been seen on the current season of Lucha Underground.
