We’re now just a mere couple of days away from the start of WWE’s big weekend which includes NXT TakeOver: Chicago II Saturday night, followed by Money In The Bank on Sunday, both from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.

NXT play-by-play announcer Mauro Ranallo revealed today via Twitter that despite the big NXT event Saturday night, he will not be calling the action due to another commitment:

I’m blessed to have more than one job. Unfortunately,dates may conflict. Off to Dallas for a @ShowtimeBoxing tripleheader . That means I won’t be in Chicago for #NXTTakeOver You’ll be in good hands with @VicJosephWWE @McGuinnessNigel & @WWEPercyWatson 👊🙏

John Pollock of POSTWrestling has added that Mauro will not be at TakeOver as he will be in Dallas to call Showtime Championship Boxing the same night:

Mauro Ranallo will be calling the Showtime Championship Boxing card this Saturday in Dallas, therefore it will be Vic Joseph calling NXT Takeover on Saturday alongside Nigel McGuiness & Percy Watson

Ranallo has since noted that he will be returning to WWE action on Monday to do play-by-play for the United Kingdom Championship Tournament at Royal Albert Hall in London, England:

I can’t wait to be back in London Monday & Tuesday to call the 2018 WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament and the NXT U.K. Championship events at the venerable Royal Albert Hall!
