Extreme Rules Results: 30-Minute Iron Man Intercontinental Title Match
In what many believed would steal the show, Extreme Rules closed out tonight with the 30-Minute Iron Man Match for the Intercontinental Championship as Seth Rollins challenged Dolph Ziggler. Unfortunately for Rollins, he was unsuccessful in defeating Drew McIntyre last week on RAW, therefore the big Scot would be allowed at ringside.
The match began with both men feeling each other out and looking very cautious, however Rollins would score a fairly early pinfall after hitting a Buckle Bomb to take the quick lead. Ziggler would turn the aggression up a notch after the three count in an effort to not fall behind too far, but unfortunately would get surprised by another quick count of three to fall down 0-2. McIntyre would hit the ring and assault the challenger, causing a disqualification to put Dolph down by three, but Drew’s ultimate purpose was served as he would leave Rollins laying before being ejected from ringside. Ziggler would crawl into a pin to cut the lead to two, then connect with a Superkick right after to go 2-3. The champion would attempt another Superkick that Seth was able to avoid, but a Zig Zag did the trick and just like that, we were all tied up at 3.
‘The KingSlayer’ would clear the cobwebs and begin to mount some offense, but a thwarted attempt at an outside dive and the help of feet on the ropes would give Dolph a 4-3 lead. ‘The Show Off’ would start almost playing defense, grinding the clock and his opponent to hang onto the lead. Seth would of course comeback though and feverishly attempt to tie the score up before finally doing so with three minutes remaining.
With little time remaining, the challenger employed multiple submissions in an effort to pull ahead, but Ziggler would manage to escape and nearly steal a pinfall with under 45 seconds remaining. As time ticked under 20 seconds, Dolph would measure for a superkick, but instead walked into one for his troubles. Rollins would connect with the Stomp and crawl to the cover, but time would expire with the score tied 4-4. It was announced that the champion would retain in the event of a draw, but RAW General Manager Kurt Angle would come out to announce that his hometown didn’t come to see a tie, sending the match into sudden death overtime.
Drew McIntyre would sneak his way back down to ringside to create a quick distraction, ‘The Show Off’ would surprise with a Zig Zag and just as quick as overtime started, the champion would finish it to retain.

Former WWE Star Reveals How Company Tests Wrestlers for an “Attitude Problem”
A former WWE star took to social media to explain, in brief, how WWE evaluates its talent to determine whether they have an “attitude problem.” The post offered a glimpse into the company’s behind-the-scenes vetting process, suggesting that behavior and professionalism are actively monitored during a wrestler’s time with the promotion.
While the explanation was limited, the revelation underscores WWE’s focus on maintaining locker-room culture and managing talent dynamics. Fans and industry observers may read the post as further evidence that character and conduct behind the curtain can be as consequential as in-ring performance.

WWE Backlash Match Sparks “Clone War” Debate in Wrestling Community
Wrestling fans and insiders are abuzz after a match at WWE Backlash was accused of “copycatting” a formula previously used by an independent wrestler, a situation some are calling a new “clone war” in the industry. The controversy highlights growing concerns about creative overlap between major promotions and the indie scene.
The debate raises questions about originality and recognition, with observers wondering whether mainstream companies should acknowledge or adapt indie ideas more transparently. As the story spreads, fans and performers alike are watching to see how promotions handle influence, credit, and creative borrowing moving forward.
