After the historic announcement earlier to kickoff tonight’s Monday Night RAW that the WWE will hold its first ever all-women’s pay-per-view, Evolution, on October 28th from the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York (read about that here), there’s still the next pay-per-view on the horizon, SummerSlam.

During one of Elias’ multiple attempts at a performance this evening, ‘Mr. Monster In The Bank’ Braun Strowman made his way out to interrupt and headed to the ring to warn that it doesn’t matter whether Roman Reigns or Bobby Lashley go on to face Universal Champion Brock Lesnar as he’s the future champ. This would lead to Kevin Owens, Strowman’s Exteme Rules opponent, to make his way to the stage. ‘The Prize Fighter’ would talk about how he tried befriending Braun because of his kids, only to end up being nearly crippled and leaving his children scared. Constable Baron Corbin would be brought out, warning Strowman that he would not get away with his heinous actions at Extreme Rules.

As RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon spoke with General Manager Kurt Angle before exiting the arena, Owens and Corbin would walk up with an idea. An idea that would see KO face Braun at SummerSlam with the Money In The Bank briefcase on the line. While Angle wasn’t so sure, Stephanie liked the idea, making it official for SummerSlam.
