SummerSlam Results: SmackDown Women’s Championship Match
After a very quick match between Braun Strowman and Kevin Owens, it was time for the ladies of SmackDown Live to take the ring as Carmella’s SmackDown Women’s Title was up for grabs in a Triple Threat against Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch.
While Becky was not pleased that Charlotte got added to the match to begin with, ‘The Princess Of Staten Island’ looked to use that to her advantage by playing the two friends against one another. The strategy worked well for the champion too, as Becky and Charlotte did not hold back on one another with both women fighting hard to obtain the title. Both challengers looked to single out Carmella on multiple occasions, having opportunities to put the match away. However, when one seemingly had victory in hand, the other was right there just in time to put a stop to it.
Carmella would show a side of herself we had yet to see before, pulling off an outside dive to the surprise of the Brooklyn crowd. Charlotte would follow with a twisting moonsault of her own though and from that point on, all three women had chances to win the championship. In the end though, Becky would have Carmella locked in the Dis-Arm-Her, but a Natural Selection from behind gave Charlotte the three count. ‘The Lass Kicker’ would congratulate her friend, but then stunningly slap her across the face and unload on Charlotte with a beat down that included hurling her into the barricade and then over the announce table.

Former WWE Star Reveals How Company Tests Wrestlers for an “Attitude Problem”
A former WWE star took to social media to explain, in brief, how WWE evaluates its talent to determine whether they have an “attitude problem.” The post offered a glimpse into the company’s behind-the-scenes vetting process, suggesting that behavior and professionalism are actively monitored during a wrestler’s time with the promotion.
While the explanation was limited, the revelation underscores WWE’s focus on maintaining locker-room culture and managing talent dynamics. Fans and industry observers may read the post as further evidence that character and conduct behind the curtain can be as consequential as in-ring performance.

WWE Backlash Match Sparks “Clone War” Debate in Wrestling Community
Wrestling fans and insiders are abuzz after a match at WWE Backlash was accused of “copycatting” a formula previously used by an independent wrestler, a situation some are calling a new “clone war” in the industry. The controversy highlights growing concerns about creative overlap between major promotions and the indie scene.
The debate raises questions about originality and recognition, with observers wondering whether mainstream companies should acknowledge or adapt indie ideas more transparently. As the story spreads, fans and performers alike are watching to see how promotions handle influence, credit, and creative borrowing moving forward.
