TakeOver Results: NXT Tag Team Championship
The time has finally arrived as NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV is finally here, the crowd at the Barclays Center as boisterous as we’ve come to expect every August. That rowdiness was only exacerbated tonight with the opening contest as The Undisputed Era defended the NXT Tag Team Titles against the former champions, Moustache Mountain in a match that many believed could steal the show.
Tyler Bate and Trent Seven wasted no time at the opening bell as the action was fast and furious, the challengers looking to put the match away early to regain their titles. However, the champions were not ready to go quietly and were able to single Bate out, working over various body parts to not only try for the win, but also to punish him at the same time. A hot tag to Seven would turn the tide briefly, but when Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly attempted to do the same, Bate would step in and the match began to break down.
Tyler would go airborne to the outside to take out O’Reilly and nearly put Strong away in the ring with the Tyler Driver ’97, but the champions would begin working over the left leg once again with O’Reilly looking for the tap out. Trent would call for the towel just like we saw Bate use to cost them the titles in the first place, however Seven would change his mind and throw it into the crowd instead before getting the tag. A Seven Star Lariat wasn’t enough to finish it, so Moustache Mountain would deliver the Knee Drop/Burning Hammer combination that still couldn’t put it away, to the surprise of the challengers.
Another failed double team attempt by the challengers led to a vicious combination sweep/clothesline by the champions, giving The Undisputed Era the three count.

Former WWE Star Reveals How Company Tests Wrestlers for an “Attitude Problem”
A former WWE star took to social media to explain, in brief, how WWE evaluates its talent to determine whether they have an “attitude problem.” The post offered a glimpse into the company’s behind-the-scenes vetting process, suggesting that behavior and professionalism are actively monitored during a wrestler’s time with the promotion.
While the explanation was limited, the revelation underscores WWE’s focus on maintaining locker-room culture and managing talent dynamics. Fans and industry observers may read the post as further evidence that character and conduct behind the curtain can be as consequential as in-ring performance.

WWE Backlash Match Sparks “Clone War” Debate in Wrestling Community
Wrestling fans and insiders are abuzz after a match at WWE Backlash was accused of “copycatting” a formula previously used by an independent wrestler, a situation some are calling a new “clone war” in the industry. The controversy highlights growing concerns about creative overlap between major promotions and the indie scene.
The debate raises questions about originality and recognition, with observers wondering whether mainstream companies should acknowledge or adapt indie ideas more transparently. As the story spreads, fans and performers alike are watching to see how promotions handle influence, credit, and creative borrowing moving forward.
