As has been noted, the reigning WWN Champion Joey Janela was injured over the weekend while competing against Psicosis for GameChanger Wrestling when a cross body off of the top rope to the floor ended with Janela’s knee folding under him (see that story here).

While there had still been no details on the severity of Janela’s injury, it was widely believed to likely be a serious one. Today, Joey took to Twitter and revealed the results of his MRI which include a torn PCL, torn MCL and a fracture among the laundry list of other issues. He also states that he will be having surgery:

At this time it’s not known when exactly Janela could be having surgery or how long he will be out of action, but it’s believed to be a minimum of two months. This would of course leave the immediate future of the WWN Championship in doubt, however there have been no announcements regarding its status as of yet.
