NJPW News: Road To Destruction Results From Chiba (9/9/18)
New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Road To Destruction Tour continued on today with its fourth event at the Togane Arena in Chiba.
As we’ve seen with the tour thus far, the participants remained mostly the same, while the card was swapped up from previous shows. Today’s event however, did feature the return of Satoshi Kojima, who had his last match eight months ago. The card also included Kazuchika Okada and YOSHI-HASHI taking on Toa Henare and Hiroshi Tanahashi, as well as an 8-Man Tag where CHAOS and The Bullet Club clashed. Below are the results:
- Yota Tsuji vs. Yuya Uemura ended in a Time Limit Draw
- Taiji Ishimori, Bad Luck Fale, Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa defeated Ren Narita, Ayato Yoshida, Michael Elgin & Shota Umino
- El Desperado & Taichi defeated Gedo & Hirooki Goto
- BUSHI, EVIL, SANADA & Tetsuya Naito defeated TAKA Michinoku, Minoru Suzuki, Takashi Iizuka & Yoshinobu Kanemaru
- YOSHI-HASHI & Kazuchika Okada defeaed Toa Henare & Hiroshi Tanahashi
- Beretta, Will Ospreay, Toru Yano & Tomohiro Ishii defeated Chase Owens, Yujiro Takahashi, Kota Ibushi & Kenny Omega
- Satoshi Kojima, Manabu Nakanishi, Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Yuji Nagata defeated David Finlay, Juice Robinson, Togi Makabe & Tomoaki Honma
