It’s no secret that for some time now the WWE has had high interest in facing off The Four Horsewomen of MMA against their own Four Horsewomen.

It’s been speculated for the last couple of years that the company was looking to have the match on a big stage and last month, it was reported that plans were being made for it to take place at Survivor Series this November (read about that here). Of course, the match is now more possible than ever since Ronda Rousey, Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir are all under WWE contracts, so for many fans it’s only a matter of time before it happens. Unfortunately for those who have been waiting for it, they may have to wait even longer.

On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Melzter reported that the match might not be planned for Survivor Series anymore as it could be too soon for Shafir and Duke, who only signed with WWE back in May. However, it’s being said that company officials feel that Duke is much farther along than she should be with Shafir not too far behind. The belief right now is that the two will be “fast tracked” due to their ability to learn quickly and association with Rousey and Baszler.

As for the chances of the big match taking place at WrestleMania 35, it is reportedly a possibility as it was previously believed WWE was building towards Charlotte Flair vs. Rousey for the event, but it now looks like that match is not set in stone.
