Copa Antonio Pena (Advertised)
La Parka vs Chessman vs Pagano vs Hijo Del Vikingo vs Super Fly vs La Parka Negra vs Hijo Del Fantasma vs Dragon Bane vs La Mascara vs Averno vs Hijo De LA Park vs Nino Hamburguesa
They are doing a ceremony for Antonio Pena now.
Hijo del Vikingo is out first. Superfly is out next. Okay seems like they will start and there’s a 60 second count down. Maybe it’s like a royal rumble with pins? Well it’s 30 seconds in and they’re not doing anything. Why even have these two start. Espectro is out. He wasn’t listed but that’s okay. So they start and Vikingo hits a big hurricanrana on Superfly. Why they didn’t start before nobody knows. Espectro flap jacks Vikingo. Superfly tries to rip Espectro’s mask off off but he ends up being belly to belly’d in the corner.
Out next is Kahos. Another guy not listed. Him and superfly team up on Vikingo. But then they go at each other and Kahos gets the advantage. He hits a drop kick on Vikingo after. Hamburger Boy is out next. He was listed. I have to mention the buzzer sound for the last ten seconds each time someone comes out is very annoying. He goes for Espectro and hits a head lock takeover on him while doing a hurricanrana on Vikingo. La Parka Negra is next. He puts a steaming cup on the announce table and they act spooked. He has a lot of momentum like anyone else would entering a match like this. He hits spots on everyone and a side walk slam on Espectro. Not the most clean wrestling.
Chessman is next now. Vikingo goes to dive on him but Chessman just walks out of the way. He hits a falcon arrow on Espectro. Superfly and Chessman double team La Parka Negra. Averno is next. I believe that’s seven guys now. I’m pretty sure I saw Vikingo being walked to the back. I have to wonder if Chessman was supposed to move or just went into business for himself. Maybe a future storyline, not sure. Anyway, there’s chaos in the ring. Everyone is beating on each other. Hijo Del Fantasma comes out now and he runs wild on everyone. Hitting a big drop kick on Kahos. He hits a big super kick on Negra. Then he kicks Chessman and he’s eliminated. Parka Negra gets kneed on the apron and eliminated.
Okay, so I’ll leave it in for transparency but, Vikingo was probably thrown over the top and Chessman moved. Makes sense, it’s over the top elimination, they weren’t very clear. Don’t know who eliminated him, the camera didn’t show. Pagano comes out now and clears house. Doesn’t eliminate anyone but gets them all down. Pagano and Fantasma stare down. Hamburger Boy clothesline them both though. Hamburger gets Fantasma, Espectro and Kahos in the corner seated and hits a running senton. Kahos kicks Superfly off the ropes for an elimination. Hamburger Boy back drops Kahos over the top for the elimination. Pagano back drops Espectro over the top for the elimination.
Fans are behind Pagano. He was the last entrant so I guess AAA La Parka isn’t in this match. Hamburger Boy went to the top to do a move on Pagano but Fantasma low blows him and pushes him off. Pagano and Fantasma are the last two. Fantasma hits a top rope hurricanrana, then he hits a frog splash. He tells the ref to pin but the ref tells him you need to throw them over the top. He tries to throw him over but Pagano reverses it. Pagano gets him in a power bomb position but hits a face buster.
Fantasma launches Pagano on the top rope but Pagano jumps off and hits a cutter. Pagano runs at Fantasma but Fantasma gets him in the ropes and the Mercenaries hit him with a chair. Hamburger Boy hits Fantasma with a chair while he’s on the top rope. He falls but the Mercenaries catch him. They then beat on Hamburger Boy. While on the apron watching, Pagano goes for a punch but Fantasma dodges and falls off. Pagano is the winner of this chaotic match because Fantasma fell.
Ciclope and Mideo Extremos come out and beat up Pagano with light tubes. Heavy ass light tubes too. After they’re done beating on Pagano, he basically gets up and no sells it and walks to the back.
Winner: Pagano
Psycho Clown and Murder Clown vs Monster Clown and Killer Kross
Well this match, whoever the surprise is (you’ll know cause I’ll have written it down in the match header since LA Park isn’t in it anymore.) and it’s going to be in a dome now. As we wait for the match they have another sponsor promotional thing. Announcer explains in English, thankfully for me and my okay Spanish abilities, you have to escape in the hole in the middle of the cage or dome. So it’s like that one TNA match. The announcers keep talking about the stuff La Parka Negra put on the table. Monster Clown is the surprise. A big down grade from LA Park. But I imagine maybe Park isn’t on this show cause he got word they were gonna make his big ass climb this ridiculous structure. So many clowns in this match.
You know they still haven’t mentioned if this is still a tag match, I’ll guess no. Monster rips at Psycho’s mask. Kross and Monster are teaming on Psycho. Psycho is busted open already. Pretty badly too. Monster Clown tries to climb out the cage but gets double power bombed. Murder Clowns mask is completely messed up on his face. Monster Clown goes through the cage and tries to declare himself the winner. Not how it works. Kross gets slammed on uh a table I guess. Murder death valley drivers Monster onto a chair. Psycho is helping Murder escape so it’s a tag match I guess.
Before Clown can escape Kross and Monster stop him. Now they’re beating on him. Psycho tries to make a come back with a chair but it doesn’t last long. Kross climbs the ladder and gets out of the cage now. So it’s Monster Clown vs Psycho Clown. Kross has been holding his arm, I wonder if it’s alright. Obviously it’s wrestling and he could be selling but he’s paying extra attention to it. Kross went to the back already, he isn’t waiting around like Murder Clown. After they trade blows Psycho starts to climb the cage. Monster is on a table. Psycho could leave but doesn’t, and instead he jumps on him for a splash. He jumps on the ladder without the other ladder and escapes the cage. Psycho Clown and Murder Clown win by escaping the cage first.
Aerostar sneaks in the ring and hits Monster Clown with a chair. He then rips his mask off.
Winners: Psycho Clown and Murder Clown
Hair vs Hair – Jeff Jarrett vs Dr. Wagner Jr
Jarrett comes out with an American flag mask on. Blue Demon Jr is in Wagner’s corner. I don’t like his chances all of a sudden. Crowd is behind Wagner. Jeff says he wants his ref to come out. The ref comes out with a brace around his neck. Ref apologizes to Jeff, and Vampiro’s music plays. He’s got a ref with him. Crowd is so into this match and it hasn’t even started yet. That’s star power for ya. Rey Escorpion is in the corner of Jeff Jarrett. Jeff goes up the entrance way. Wagner follows him but turns his back so Jeff attacks. Escorpion hands Jeff a chair but Blue Demon chases him away. Karen Jarrett back scratches Wagner. Jarrett rakes Wagner on the barricade and now Wagner is busted open.
I think the only non weapon or environmental offense Jeff has had has been punches. When Wagner hangs from the ropes Karen chokes him. Jeff holds him and Karen rakes his back again. She then slaps him. He’s letting her get a lot on him. Crowd’s throwing some garbage at her. Blue Demon grabs a chair to keep Karen and Rey at bay. Jeff sets a chair up in the corner. Wagner reverses the Irish Whip into the chair. Wagner punches Jeff, then bites him, then rubs his blood on Jeff. Wagner hits Jeff in the head with the chair. Goes for the pin… and it’s a really slow count. The stars align for Jeff. Wagner gets Jeff on top and hits a cutter on him. Ref acts distracted and counts really slow. Jeff gets the shoulder up last minute on the slowest count ever. It looked really funny.
Wagner attacks the ref. Now Escorpion gets involved and Wagner hits him with a dragon screw leg whip. He hits Jarrett with the same move. Wagner signals for a new ref. Wagner gets Jeff in the figure four position but Karen attacks him from behind. Wagner is now walking her down. He grabs her by the head, but she punches him in the groin. Jeff grabs the guitar, but Blue Demon grabs it from him…. and Blue Demon hits Wagner with it. Gee who saw that coming? Karen gives Jeff another one. Psycho Clown comes down to make the save. He takes out Demon and Escorpion. He gives the guitar to Wagner. Wagner hits Jeff in the head with it. A new ref runs out. 1 2 3. Dr. Wagner wins. Wow, Jeff is gonna lose his hair. Dr. Wagner wins with guitar shot to Jeff Jarrett.
Post match Wagner grabs Karen and punches her. Wow, different cultures for sure. Wagner is now shaving Jeff’s hair. He gives the lock of hair to Miss Pena.
Winner: Dr. Wagner Jr
