There has been a lot of discussion surrounding the recent meeting between officials for IMPACT Wrestling and WWE back in mid-September (read that story here), more specifically regarding the details of what the meeting was about.

While initially it was said that neither Vince McMahon or Triple H were in attendance, last week a report stated that Triple H was in fact there instead of just his representatives (see that story here). Additionally, it was also originally said that the talks between the companies had nothing to do with the possible sale of IMPACT’s video library, but then was reported that there were some discussions about WWE using more of their content (find that story here).

Anthem Sports’ Ed Nordholm appeared on Sitting Ringside with David Penzer and had the following to say regarding meeting with WWE officials:

“There’s nothing I can say that isn’t already out there. We had a meeting, they wanted to talk about content as we have been working more with them, as I understand, more than previous incarnations of management in the past about ways in which they can access our library for their content development and you know, it was time to sort of explore whether there are other things we can do that would be better. But you know, just ordinary course of conversation.”
