If you’re one of the many fans who seem to have a distaste for anything under the WWE umbrella, hopefully you’ve been paying attention to one of the many alternatives over the past year that has made some major strides, Major League Wrestling.

MLW has taken the wrestling scene by storm over the past twelve months and has begun placating fans in new markets with events, such as the upcoming Fightland in Chicago. One of the main men behind the scenes with the promotion has been that of former WWE and IMPACT Wrestling producer Bruce Prichard. Of course, Prichard’s highly successful Something To Wrestle podcast with Conrad Thompson also makes its home on MLW’s network, however his role backstage within the wrestling promotion is about to be no more.

In what’s being called an amicable departure with the door open to return in the future, PWInsider is confirming that Konnan will be replacing Prichard as MLW’s top agent and backstage producer. Konnan began working behind the scenes at MLW’s War Games event in Fort Lauderdale and quickly began taking on more responsibilities. It’s also being said that ‘K-Dog’ was running the locker room during the company’s recent Fury Road show in Queens, New York and part of his new job will also include running the Gorilla position for events.

As for Konnan’s relationships with AAA Lucha Libre and IMPACT Wrestling, it’s been noted that this change will have no affect on those.
