*SPOILERS* Results From Tonight’s IMPACT Wrestling TV Tapings (10/15/18)
While WWE is on the air tonight with Monday Night RAW, IMPACT Wrestling followed up their Bound For Glory pay-per-view last night with a set of Pop TV tapings tonight back at the Melrose Ballroom in Queens, New York.
As has been noted, fresh off of losing the IMPACT World Title to Johnny Impact at Bound For Glory, Austin Aries was not in the building for tonight’s tapings and is not expected to be for tomorrow’s either. However, we did learn of a couple of matches set for tonight’s lineup as Allie took on Alisha Edwards, plus Ethan Page was in action against Trevor Lee. Here are the results:
Xplosion
- Ace Austin defeated Shawn Donovan
IMPACT
- X-Division Title: Brian Cage retained over Rich Swann, Sami Callihan comes out after the match and shows video of Cage taking the pinfall at Bound For Glory. A brawl breaks out and The Crist Brothers get involved before everyone’s pulled apart
- New IMPACT World Champion Johnny Impact comes to the ring and cuts a promo about his road to becoming the champ and how he’s the man now. He calls for anyone who thinks they deserve a shot to come out and Rey Fenix heads to the ring. A title match is made for next week and the two shake hands
- Killer Kross defeated Tommy Dreamer via Referee Stoppage
- Taya Valkyrie defeated Katarina, Taya with a post-match interview about her loss to Tessa Blanchard at Bound For Glory says she used to respect Tessa, but not anymore
- Ethan Page defeated Trevor Lee
- Allie defeated Alisha Edwards, Allie keeps beating down Alisha after the match in a trance state until Kiera Hogan comes out to snap her out of it
- Pentagon Jr. defeated Homicide, The OGz attack Pentagon after the match. Fenix tries to make the save, but the numbers are too much
- IMPACT World Tag Team Champions LAX (Ortiz & Santana) defeated The Heavenly Bodies
- Gama Singh defeated Rohit Raju
- Su Yung defeated Kiera Hogan, during the match it was discovered that Yung had control over Allie to the point she could control her movement
- Killer Kross & Moose defeated Fallah Bahh & KM
- IMPACT World Title: Johnny Impact retained over Rey Fenix, The OGz attack Fenix after the match and Pentagon Jr. makes the save
