Your weekly look at the YouTube performance for WWE 205 Live, airing Wednesdays on the WWE Network.

As we all know, social media and other outlets have become a huge means of drawing in interaction and viewers for WWE. Most people will point to television ratings like they did during the Monday Night Wars in the late 1990’s, however that can be skewed with so many various means of watching today that do not include cable television.

WWE 205 Live YouTube Report (1:30 AM EST, 11/15/18):

1. Cedric Alexander vs Lio Rush – 231k views
2. Lucha House Party vs. Mike Karma & Kraig Keesaman – 60k views
3. Akira Tozawa & The Brian Kendrick vs. Drew Gulak & Jack Gallagher – 16k views

Cedric Alexander and Lio Rush delivered big time this week, delivering nearly four times as many hits as their closest competitor. Alexander’s appearance a few weeks ago delivered 121k views, and this nearly doubled it in just a few days. To me, this is a combination of Alexander, the brand’s biggest star, working against Rush, who is essentially a Raw Superstar at this point.

This also easily outdrew any video from last week’s edition of 205 Live on YouTube.

Lucha House Party worked a squash match that delivered a decent number, pulling in over 60k views for their work.

This week’s third and final video has to be two things: a disappointment and a concern. Social media movement—something that YouTube is a big part of—is huge to WWE. And Akira Tozawa, The Brian Kendrick, Drew Gulak, and Jack Gallagher drew in 16k views?!?!?!

That’s not good for any of them.
