MLW News: Latest Match Added To Next Week’s Fightland In Chicago
Major League Wrestling’s debut in Chicago is exactly one week away as the promotion heads to Cicero Stadium on November 8th for Fightland, a set of Fusion television tapings.
Already announced for the show is Shane Strickland’s rematch for the MLW World Heavyweight Title against Low Ki, an MLW World Tag Team Title match as LA Park and El Hijo de LA Park challenge Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix. On top of that, CMLL star Rush debuts against Sammy Guevara, PCO vs. Brody King in a No Disqualification battle, Joey Ryan and Swoggle against The Dirty Blondes, plus Marko Stunt with a big size disadvantage as he meets Ace Romero.
Now today, MLW has made another bout official as The Hart Foundation’s Teddy Hart will take on Jason Cade:
TEDDY HART VS. JASON CADE IS A STATEMENT MATCH FOR BOTH NEXT WEEK IN CHICAGO AT MLW FIGHTLAND & TV TAPING
CHICAGO – Chicago has been the site of some of the Hart family’s biggest triumphs. Next Thursday Teddy Hart looks to Major League Wrestling’s Chicago debut as the stage to show the Hart Foundation are the greatest force in wrestling today.
MLW today announced Teddy Hart vs. Jason Cade for MLW FIGHTLAND in Chicago at Cicero Stadium. The November 8th card is an MLW FUSION TV taping for beIN SPORTS.
Tickets are on sale now starting at $10 at http://www.MLWTickets.com.
Teddy Hart is undefeated thus far in singles competition but will be tested by the cagey Jason Cade. Cade has had a bad attitude since splitting embarking on his singles career in MLW this past summer. Earning controversial wins; one cannot deny Cade is making moves in the middleweight division. However, no one in the sport is quite like Teddy Hart.
Teddy Hart is enjoying arguably the strongest 6 months of his career. A charter member of the new era Hart Foundation along with Davey Boy Smith Jr. and Brian Pillman Jr., the trio has dominated the competition since uniting on MLW FUSION.
While this is Jason Cade’s biggest challenge to date, the bout also is a critical statement match for Hart, whose family’s greatest triumphs have been tied to Chicago.
Will Teddy Hart continue his march up the rankings? Will Jason Cade’s newfound momentum be too much for Hart?

Former WWE Star Reveals How Company Tests Wrestlers for an “Attitude Problem”
A former WWE star took to social media to explain, in brief, how WWE evaluates its talent to determine whether they have an “attitude problem.” The post offered a glimpse into the company’s behind-the-scenes vetting process, suggesting that behavior and professionalism are actively monitored during a wrestler’s time with the promotion.
While the explanation was limited, the revelation underscores WWE’s focus on maintaining locker-room culture and managing talent dynamics. Fans and industry observers may read the post as further evidence that character and conduct behind the curtain can be as consequential as in-ring performance.

WWE Backlash Match Sparks “Clone War” Debate in Wrestling Community
Wrestling fans and insiders are abuzz after a match at WWE Backlash was accused of “copycatting” a formula previously used by an independent wrestler, a situation some are calling a new “clone war” in the industry. The controversy highlights growing concerns about creative overlap between major promotions and the indie scene.
The debate raises questions about originality and recognition, with observers wondering whether mainstream companies should acknowledge or adapt indie ideas more transparently. As the story spreads, fans and performers alike are watching to see how promotions handle influence, credit, and creative borrowing moving forward.
