As we’ve been following along with Ring Of Honor’s ongoing Global Wars Tour, the show was brought to Buffalo, New York (go here for all the results) last night for the third of four shows before tomorrow night’s finale in Toronto.

Last night, the main event pitted three teams against each other in a Triple Threat as Cody and Hangman Page met The Briscoes and Best Friends with Beretta and Chuckie T picking up the victory. Unfortunately for one of the participants, it looks like an injury was sustained as earlier today Cody revealed on Twitter he heard his knee pop before the action even got underway:

Going from one side of the crowd to the other last night, teasing a t-shirt toss of all things…heard a loud POP in my knee. Terryfing.

Hoping it was just a lil’ meniscus and Sunday I can still deliver. 🤞

With Cody scheduled to defend his IWGP United States Championship against the aforementioned Beretta tomorrow night in Toronto, it appeared as if that match could be in doubt. Now, Cody has updated everyone and announced that as suspected, he will not be able to compete tonight and is scheduled for an MRI this week:

Sadly folks I will not be able to wrestle tomorrow in Toronto. I will still be at the pre-show meet/greet to say hello to everybody

ROH & I will find a suitable replacement for the match. I’m extremely sorry. I’ll be able to confirm the extent of the issue after an MRI this week
