Results from today’s second day of NXT UK television tapings in Liverpool!

After yesterday’s action in Liverpool, England (see the results here), WWE’s NXT UK brand was back at it today for day two of this weekend’s television tapings.

While we learned that the first NXT UK TakeOver event will take place on January 12th and a number of matches were announced, today’s show followed up on that with the contract signing for Pete Dunne’s title defense at TakeOver against Joe Coffey, as well as General Manager Johnny Saint announcing Eddie Dennis vs. Dave Mastiff in a No Disqualification Match.

Below are the results from today’s action and as always, it’s not known when they will be airing on the WWE Network:

• Dark Match: Jay Melrose defeated Jack Starz
• Toni Storm defeated Deonna Purrazzo, NXT UK Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley comes out after the match and taunts Storm with the title
• ‘Wild Boar’ Mike Hitchman defeated Josh Morrell
• Eddie Dennis vs. Dave Mastiff ends in a Double DQ, General Manager Johnny Saint makes his way out and announces they will square off at TakeOver: Blackpool in a No DQ Match
• Next is the United Kingdom Championship contract signing for TakeOver with Pete Dunne and Joe Coffey, ending with Coffey powerbombing Dunne through the table
• Amir Jordan & Kenny Williams defeated Dan Moloney & Josh Ahmed
• Isla Dawn defeated Xia Brookside
• Gallus heads to the ring and cuts a promo on British Strong Style
• Jordan Devlin defeated Damien Weir, after the match Travis Banks comes out and issues a challenge to Devlin
• Zack Gibson & JD Drake defeated Flash Morgan Webster & Mark Andrews to advance to TakeOver and face Moustache Mountain for the NXT UK Tag Titles
• Ligero defeated Joseph Conners
• Travis Banks defeated Tyson T-Bone
• Gallus defeated British Strong Style
