With so many injuries plaguing WWE’s Monday Night RAW roster right now, it seems like the time is right for someone new to step up and show the WWE Universe what they can do.

Now that it’s been a few weeks since Titus Worldwide quietly disbanded, Apollo Crews has seemingly been getting some more opportunities of late and even picked up a victory last night on RAW over Jinder Mahal. During the match, a promo from Apollo was shown in which he referred to himself as ‘The Human Highlight Reel’ before defeating Mahal after a standing moonsault.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, ‘The Human Highlight Reel’ is exactly what Apollo will be booked as for RAW moving forward, as the company looks to showcase his athleticism and “cool moves” on the red brand.

EA’s Take: So what you’re telling me is that they’ve basically given up on him. That’s what this sounds like to me. I guess it’s a bit of an ECW approach with Apollo, meaning they are going to accentuate the positives and hide the negatives. We all know he can do “cool moves”, that’s all he has ever been able to do and I just don’t see it working. His issue now and always has been personality and until he can develop one, he’s dead in the water. That was the whole point of being put in Titus Worldwide to begin with and now he’s right back to where he was before it started. I don’t think one person cared when he got the win last night.
