WWE could have a surprise up their sleeve for next Monday’s RAW!

While the WWE Universe widely criticized this past Monday’s episode of RAW (see Mitchell’s Live Report here), it looks like the company could be looking to have a nice little surprise on the show next week.

We’ve been following the injury progress of ‘The Monster Among Men’ Braun Strowman, who is scheduled to face Baron Corbin at TLC on December 16th in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match with not only Braun’s Universal Title shot against Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble on the line, but Corbin’s opportunity to become the permanent RAW General Manager. We’ve noted how the company has already put a plan in place in case Strowman’s not able to make the match (check that out here), as he just underwent surgery this past Tuesday (find that here) and it’s still not known if he will be cleared in time.

Today, PWInsider is reporting that ‘The Monster Among Men’ is scheduled to appear on Monday’s RAW in Houston, Texas. While it hasn’t been confirmed, it’s believed that Braun will in fact be in the building and will not be appearing via video as he did last week.

EA’s Take: With no Braun, no Roman and basically a throwaway episode, this week’s RAW was pretty brutal outside of a couple of segments. For as much as some people want to say that Strowman’s not ready to be the top guy, Monday was a great example of what happens without him right now. People love the guy and WWE desperately needs him back. I still say he competes at TLC, but it’s changed to Braun/Balor/Elias vs. Corbin/Lashley/McIntyre in order to protect Strowman.
