In case you missed it or chose not to watch, WWE’s Crown Jewel went on today in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and our main event saw D-Generation X pick-up a hard earned victory over The Brothers Of Destruction.

During the match, Triple H suffered a Chokeslam through the announce table at the hands of Kane, leaving Shawn Michaels to fend for himself for a good portion of the battle. When ‘The Game’ was able to crawl back to the apron and tag in, many members of the WWE Universe noticed that Hunter was favoring his right arm quite badly, some even speculating he had a shoulder injury.

Triple H would work the rest of the match trying to avoid using his right arm as much as possible, not throwing any punches and using his left hand to deliver stinging chops. For ‘The Game’, even his trademark Pedigree didn’t look quite the same as he was unable to really hook his opponents’ arms for the move.

WWE has just announced that Triple H is indeed injured and while it’s not confirmed one hundred percent yet, it looks like he has a torn pectoral muscle. WWE also has noted that he will be traveling back to the United States to undergo surgery.

EA’s Take: I think it was pretty obvious to anybody watching that something was definitely wrong with Triple H and I was of the thought it was his shoulder by the way he was acting. I know he’s a part-timer now, but this could definitely put a monkey wrench into WrestleMania plans depending on what WWE has up their sleeve for Hunter. Depending on just how bad the damage is, he’s looking at roughly 5-6 months of recovery. Then again, the dude’s a physical freak so far be it from me to think he couldn’t come back earlier, even at his age.
