A look at the cards for this weekend’s PROGRESS Chapters 80 & 81!

While next week and weekend will be loaded with wrestling between MLW, Ring Of Honor and WWE, this weekend will be a big one for PROGRESS Wrestling as they invade Manchester for Chapter 80: Gods and Monsters on Saturday, followed by Sheffield on Sunday for Chapter 81: Pour Some PROGRESS On Me.

With PROGRESS being among the promotions that WWE’s NXT UK talents are not restricted from as the two companies have worked together now for some time, the cards for both shows feature a number of NXT UK’s top Superstars.

Also of note if you remember, a scheduled match between NXT’s Street Profits and IMPACT Wrestling’s LAX was altered after IMPACT pulled LAX, reportedly not wanting one of their top talents to lost to WWE contracted performers (see that story here). Interestingly enough, Sunday’s Chapter 81 is set to feature IMPACT Wrestling’s Jordynne Grace taking on NXT UK’s Toni Storm. As of now, that match is still set, despite recent reports that was part of WWE’s restrictions in their new, recently handed out NXT UK contracts (for more on that, go here).

Here’s a look at the lineups for both of PROGRESS’ events this weekend. Chapter 80 is sold out, however limited tickets are still available for Chapter 81 in Sheffield at this link:
