It looks like the recent comments regarding Alexa Bliss’ injury status were misinterpreted!

In case you missed it, some comments by WWE Hall Of Famer Mark Henry this week on Busted Open Radio created quite a buzz in the wrestling world, as ‘The World’s Strongest Man’ revealed a conversation he had with injured WWE Superstar Alexa Bliss (check the story out here).

Of course, ‘Little Miss Bliss’ has been out of action for a number of weeks now after suffering multiple concussions in a short period of time. While we previously heard that WWE was going to be extra cautious with her return to the ring (find more on that here), Henry’s remarks led many fans and news outlets to believe that she’s one hundred percent good-to-go. However, that’s not exactly the case.

According to Dave Meltzer on F4WOnline, Alexa is not cleared to return to the squared circle, clarifying that she has been cleared by WWE’s medical staff for “limited activity”. It was also noted that while Bliss has been working out at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, she has been under very close watch as the company continues to take baby steps with regards to her getting back into competition.

EA’s Take: Wait a minute. You mean to tell me that everybody took Mark Henry’s comments and completely misunderstood what he was saying, just like I said they were? Color me shocked. This was a perfect example of our #UseYourHead. Just think about it. With the amount of injuries on the RAW side, do you think if Alexa Bliss was “100% cleared” the WWE would not be putting her right back into the ring? This is a rhetorical question folks, the answer is “No”.
