WWE News: NXT Live Event Results From Green Bay, Possible Injury (12/7/18)
Results from last night’s NXT Live Event in Green Bay!
As we’ve noted, the WWE NXT roster has been divided up this weekend as one portion of the roster tours Florida this weekend for Live Events while the other is out of state.
For the Superstars out of state, their weekend Live Events began on Thursday night in Milwaukee (see those results here), continuing last night in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Among the action, was a Handicap Match main event, Dominik Dijakovic went one-on-one with ‘The Super King Of Bros’ Matt Riddle, on top of the NXT Tag Team Titles being defended by The Undisputed Era.
Additionally, it looks like there was a legitimate injury during the show as well, as Kairi Sane, Dakota Kai and Candice LeRae teamed up for a 6-Woman Tag. According to fans in attendance, Dakota suffered some sort of damage to her leg as she collapsed while in the corner during the course of the match. Everything was then brought to a stop by the referee who then check on Dakota and threw up the dreaded “X” symbol before she left the ring and the match continued as a 2-on-3. Below are the results:
- Adam Cole defeated Humberto Carrillo
- Kassius Ohno defeated Dan Matha
- Matt Riddle defeated Dominik Dijakovic
- NXT Tag Team Titles: The Undisputed Era (Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly) retained over Heavy Machinery after interference by Bobby Fish
- Candice LeRae, Dakota Kai & Kairi Sane defeated Shayna Baszler, Marina Shafir & Jessamyn Duke
- The Velveteen Dream defeated Johnny Gargano
- Aleister Black & Ricochet defeated Kona Reeves & Tommaso Ciampa

Former WWE Star Reveals How Company Tests Wrestlers for an “Attitude Problem”
A former WWE star took to social media to explain, in brief, how WWE evaluates its talent to determine whether they have an “attitude problem.” The post offered a glimpse into the company’s behind-the-scenes vetting process, suggesting that behavior and professionalism are actively monitored during a wrestler’s time with the promotion.
While the explanation was limited, the revelation underscores WWE’s focus on maintaining locker-room culture and managing talent dynamics. Fans and industry observers may read the post as further evidence that character and conduct behind the curtain can be as consequential as in-ring performance.

WWE Backlash Match Sparks “Clone War” Debate in Wrestling Community
Wrestling fans and insiders are abuzz after a match at WWE Backlash was accused of “copycatting” a formula previously used by an independent wrestler, a situation some are calling a new “clone war” in the industry. The controversy highlights growing concerns about creative overlap between major promotions and the indie scene.
The debate raises questions about originality and recognition, with observers wondering whether mainstream companies should acknowledge or adapt indie ideas more transparently. As the story spreads, fans and performers alike are watching to see how promotions handle influence, credit, and creative borrowing moving forward.
