WWE News: SmackDown Live Event Results From Baltimore, Maryland (12/28/18)
Results from last night’s WWE SmackDown Live Event!
While the WWE’s roster for the red brand was off to Detroit last night to tape this coming Monday’s episode of RAW (see spoilers here), the SmackDown Live brand continued their regular Live Event tour in Baltimore, Maryland.
The card for last night’s show was identical to the previous night’s Live Event in Uniondale, New York (find those results here) as WWE Champion Daniel Bryan defended against John Cena, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair challenged Asuka for the SmackDown Women’s Title, plus the SmackDown Tag Titles and United States Championship were both on the line in separate matches.
Here are last night’s results with the blue brand’s roster moving on to Pittsburgh tonight to tape Tuesday’s edition of SmackDown Live:
- The Miz hosted MizTV with Mustafa Ali, which leads to a match
- Mustafa Ali defeated The Miz
- R-Truth & Carmella defeated Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas & Zelina Vega
- Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson & Shelton Benjamin defeated Aiden English & The Colons, after the match SAnitY comes out and challenges the winners
- Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson & Shelton Benjamin defeated SAnitY
- Rey Mysterio defeated Randy Orton
- SmackDown Tag Title Triple Threat: The Bar retained over The New Day & The Usos
- Jeff Hardy defeated Samoa Joe
- WWE Title Steel Cage Match: Daniel Bryan retained over John Cena
- Lana & Naomi defeated Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville
- United States Title: Rusev retained over Shinsuke Nakamura
- SmackDown Women’s Title Triple Threat: Asuka retained over Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair
