Results from last night’s WWE SmackDown Live Event!

Now that there’s less than 24 hours remaining in the year 2018, this week’s episodes of RAW and SmackDown Live were taped in advance of tonight and tomorrow night, giving the WWE Superstars another couple of days rest for a holiday.

While the red brand’s roster put a bow on their 2018 Live Event schedule last night in Buffalo (find those results here), the SmackDown Live brand was finishing up their tour with a show in Tampa, Florida. Fans in attendance were treated to a card very similar to that of the rest of the weekend’s events as Shinsuke Nakamura challenged Rusev for the United States Title, Lana teamed with Naomi to take on Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville, plus WWE Champion Daniel Bryan defended inside a Steel Cage against AJ Styles. Below are the results:

• SmackDown Tag Title Triple Threat: The Bar retained over The New Day & The Usos
• Killian Dain makes his way out and runs down the city of Tampa, then issues an open challenge
• Titus O’Neil defeated Killian Dain
• Mustafa Ali defeated Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas, after the bell Zelina Vega complained about the match which leads to R-Truth & Carmella coming out for a dance break, then a brawl ensues
• Jeff Hardy defeated Samoa Joe
• John Cena defeated The Miz
• Lana & Naomi defeated Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville
• United States Title: Rusev retained over Shinsuke Nakamura
• SmackDown Women’s Title Triple Threat: Asuka retained over Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair
• WWE Title Steel Cage Match: Daniel Bryan retained over AJ Styles
