A couple of updates ahead of tonight’s WWE RAW!

We’re just a few hours away from the final episode of WWE’s Monday Night RAW before the company closes the book on their pay-per-view scheduled this Sunday at TLC (check out the updated card here).

A number of segments had already been announced for the red brand tonight (see this morning’s RAW Preview), but another has since been added. In the final step before their match at TLC, the bitter rivalry between Dean Ambrose and Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins will see ‘The Kingslayer’ address Ambrose’s action from last week. Plus, Rollins has promised to offer up his own ‘State of the WWE’ since General Manager Elect Baron Corbin has been running the show.

Additionally, the WrestleVotes Twitter account is indicating there could be some changes made to the TLC card tonight on RAW. However, no other details are known:

Previously, it had been reported that WWE had a backup plan in case Braun Strowman was not at one hundred percent yet following surgery (see more on those plans). Following Finn Balor being sent home early from the RAW brand’s tour of South America this weekend, there has also been some speculation regarding his scheduled match against Drew McIntyre being removed altogether. Of course to reiterate, this is nothing more than just speculation at this time.

EA’s Take: There were things up in the air heading into tonight’s RAW and now, although it could very well be something small being blown out of proportion, the Finn Balor aspect makes it more intriguing. What IF something happened like an injury and now WWE needs a backup plan to the backup plan? It sounds silly, but I think there actually could be one. Anyone remember good ole Kurt Angle? If…I repeat…IF something’s going to change regarding that match, that’s what makes the most sense to fill the spot.
