What might Cody and The Young Bucks be doing backstage for AEW?

Following the official announcement of All Elite Wrestling’s launch and reveal of an upcoming rally for a future event entitled Double Or Nothing (see that story here), there are obviously still a ton of details that need to be addressed, some of which we got a little bit of possible info on this morning (find that here).

While it’s been reported that Cody Rhodes has already signed a multi-year AEW deal and The Young Bucks are expected to sign very soon, we still don’t know their full involvement with the promotion outside of obviously being members of the roster.

Pro Wrestling Sheet’s Ryan Satin is reporting today that a source informed him a few weeks back that Cody’s role would include being the Executive Producer of Events and a possible television show. Meanwhile, other members of The Elite would also have backstage roles, including The Young Bucks who reportedly would be doing the booking, although it was also said that could have changed in the past few weeks as well.

Additionally, Satin also notes that there are a number of WWE Superstars who aren’t pleased with their spots in the company and reportedly will be keeping a close eye on AEW as a possible destination for a “change of scenery”.

Lastly, after departing Ring Of Honor over what he deemed to be “utter disrespect” from management (read more on that here), it was recently reported that BJ Whitmer likely would wind up with AEW fulfilling duties similar to what he had with ROH (check that out here). After the announcement of All Elite Wrestling, Whitmer sent out the following via Twitter, which many have taken as a sign that he’s officially on-board with the company:
