WWE News: Preview Tonight’s Episode Of Monday Night RAW (1/14/19)
A look at what’s on tap for tonight’s WWE RAW!
The build towards the WWE’s Royal Rumble, officially less than two weeks away now, continues tonight on Monday Night RAW as the red brand heads to the FedEx Forum in the backyard of Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler, Memphis.
Over the weekend, two matches were announced for tonight’s show, one which will see Dean Ambrose put his Intercontinental Title on the line in a Triple Threat against Seth Rollins and ‘The All Mighty’ Bobby Lashley. The other, Sasha Banks will team up with the woman she will challenge for the RAW Women’s Championship at Royal Rumble, Ronda Rousey, taking on Nia Jax and Tamina.
Here’s a look at what to expect when RAW hits the airwaves at 8PM EST. As always, you can follow along with all the action right here on The Chairshot with Mitchell’s Live Report. Various personalities from The Chairshot will also be back live-tweeting their thoughts (@theCHAIRSHOTcom):
- Dean Ambrose’s Intercontinental Title is in jeopardy against Seth Rollins & Bobby Lashley
- How will Sasha Banks & Ronda Rousey mesh when they face Nia Jax & Tamina?
- Is Braun Strowman really, fully prepared this time around for Brock Lesnar?
- The Revival continue to claim they’re victims of a conspiracy
- Royal Rumble spots are still available!
All I do is prepare for matches like Monday’s Triple Threat. Ambrose isn’t ready. Lashley isn’t ready. Memphis isn’t ready. Lezzz goooooooooooo https://t.co/mpnnPwMlO5

The last time I held a title in @WWE was 11 years and 7 months ago today. Now, #TheAllMighty gets the chance to shine. @WWERollins you know from last week what I’m capable of. @TheDeanAmbrose I hope you were taking notes. #RAW https://t.co/IYLiEFbiN5

Former WWE Star Reveals How Company Tests Wrestlers for an “Attitude Problem”
A former WWE star took to social media to explain, in brief, how WWE evaluates its talent to determine whether they have an “attitude problem.” The post offered a glimpse into the company’s behind-the-scenes vetting process, suggesting that behavior and professionalism are actively monitored during a wrestler’s time with the promotion.
While the explanation was limited, the revelation underscores WWE’s focus on maintaining locker-room culture and managing talent dynamics. Fans and industry observers may read the post as further evidence that character and conduct behind the curtain can be as consequential as in-ring performance.

WWE Backlash Match Sparks “Clone War” Debate in Wrestling Community
Wrestling fans and insiders are abuzz after a match at WWE Backlash was accused of “copycatting” a formula previously used by an independent wrestler, a situation some are calling a new “clone war” in the industry. The controversy highlights growing concerns about creative overlap between major promotions and the indie scene.
The debate raises questions about originality and recognition, with observers wondering whether mainstream companies should acknowledge or adapt indie ideas more transparently. As the story spreads, fans and performers alike are watching to see how promotions handle influence, credit, and creative borrowing moving forward.
