WrestleMania 37 Location Rumor
While we know that WrestleMania 36 will be occurring in Florida in 2020, it appears that Los Angeles will be the host of WrestleMania 37. Dave Meltzer noted in the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE wants to have the show of shows at the new Hollywood Park for WrestleMania 38, however, the city wants to host WrestleMania 37 as part of a trial run before hosting the 2022 Super Bowl. The stadium reportedly cant host 100,000 people for a wrestling event, so it would break an attendance record.
Jason’s Take
I am personally still waiting for US Bank Stadium in Minnesota to host WrestleMania. Looks like I am going to have to continue to wait.
Big Match Announced For SmackDown Live
WWE has announced a big match for this Tuesday’s edition of SmackDown Live. Becky Lynch will take on Bayley in a non-title match. The match is being advertised as the first match in WWE between the two, however, they have face each other in NXT in the past. Both women took to Twitter this weekend with a bit of trash talk.
Would love to. And I wouldn’t worry about “hurting my feelings”….especially over Twitter 🤦🏻♀️. Let’s just hope I don’t hurt your chances of retaining at MITB. https://t.co/A1SjO8eQdb

Jason’s Take
This should be a great match between the two fan favorites. This has the potential to lead to a great feud, and a pay per view match up in the future.
Real Life Heat Between Women In WWE?
The Tweet in the previous news entry reportedly is a response by Bayley to an Alexa Bliss Tweet regarding quitting Twttier. Alexa responded, without tagging Bayley, and made reference to the real life issue Sasha and Bayley had with losing the Women’s’ Tag Team Chanpionship at WrestleMania 35.
Haha ok make fun of me all you want. Like its something new for u guys . Go comfort your friend. I’ll save you guys a spot on the locker room floor
— Lexi Kaufman (@AlexaBliss_WWE) April 28, 2019
Jason’s Take
The Tweet apparently is referring to the way both Banks and Bayley acted both after losing at WrestleMania, and the team being split up on RAW the following week. I am not a Banks fan, as many of you have probably been able to tell in recent news shuffles, and I am really starting to sour on Bayley. You are in a business where you get paid to lose. It feels like some wrestlers take their gimmicks too seriously.
Women’s Money In The Bank Participants Revealed
According to a local Hartford, CT ad, the Women’s Money In The Bank participants may have been revealed. One of the interesting names shown on the graphic includes Sasha Banks.

Jason’s Take
This is an eclectic list of women for the MITB match. Well the talent is stacked, I am a little surprised to not see Mandy Rose, Charlotte, or Alexa Bliss involved in the match. I am wondering if Alexa Bliss and her previous injuries are keeping her from this match.
AEW Using WCW Pay Per View Names?
Recently, Cody Rhodes and AEW filed for trademarks of long time WCW pay per view names, including Bash At The Beach, Bunkhouse Stampede, and Battlebowl. Former WCW announcers and commentator, Tony Schiavone, recently did an interview with Fightful and talked about the possibility of AEW using WCW pay per view names.
“I don’t know much about trademark law. I guess they just didn’t think it was important. With the nostalgia that Cody feels for his dad and the fact that he could have a Bash at the Beach or Bunkhouse Stampede and it would mean something — I think that would help them out a great deal. I’m excited about his business plan and the Young Bucks and Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega and all the guys and Tony Khan leading the way. That’s going to be some good stuff, man. It’s a pretty good business plan. There are names that we all remember for good or for bad. I know all Bash at the Beaches weren’t great, all Bunkhouse Stampedes weren’t great, but they’re still iconic names that fans remember.”
Jason’s Take
I am a longtime WCW fan, and often I feel that history has forgotten about some of the companies events. However, is AEW really changing wrestling be revisiting the past of a failed company? While we all get the warm, and fuzzy feeling when WCW is re-visited, I think it’s best for the long term vision of AEW to do something new and different, rather than revisiting the past.

Former WWE Star Reveals How Company Tests Wrestlers for an “Attitude Problem”
A former WWE star took to social media to explain, in brief, how WWE evaluates its talent to determine whether they have an “attitude problem.” The post offered a glimpse into the company’s behind-the-scenes vetting process, suggesting that behavior and professionalism are actively monitored during a wrestler’s time with the promotion.
While the explanation was limited, the revelation underscores WWE’s focus on maintaining locker-room culture and managing talent dynamics. Fans and industry observers may read the post as further evidence that character and conduct behind the curtain can be as consequential as in-ring performance.

WWE Backlash Match Sparks “Clone War” Debate in Wrestling Community
Wrestling fans and insiders are abuzz after a match at WWE Backlash was accused of “copycatting” a formula previously used by an independent wrestler, a situation some are calling a new “clone war” in the industry. The controversy highlights growing concerns about creative overlap between major promotions and the indie scene.
The debate raises questions about originality and recognition, with observers wondering whether mainstream companies should acknowledge or adapt indie ideas more transparently. As the story spreads, fans and performers alike are watching to see how promotions handle influence, credit, and creative borrowing moving forward.
