Elisa’s Early WWE WrestleMania 35 Predictions
WrestleMania is this weekend and Elisa Maria has your early predictions!
Elisa Maria provides her early week WrestleMania predictions–do you agree with her?
This is it. WrestleMania week is here and I am indeed exciting to attend my very first WrestleMania. It has been a long time coming but I will finally experience this amazing spectacle that I have watched on television for about 28 years of my life. Whether you are a wrestling fan or not, it is definitely something to watch especially now that the women will main event, it is something you should not miss. With that being said, I have received a lot of requests asking for my predictions for this year’s WrestleMania card and I think it’s time to share my early predictions. Remember, my predictions might change since the very last Raw and SmackDown still have not taken place. These predictions might be different depending on the angles of each story line. So let’s take a look:
Main Event Double Women’s Championship: Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey – Winner: Becky Lynch
This one is self explanatory. I feel this will not change at all however, now it is confirmed on last night Raw that winner takes all. This is historic and I cannot wait to see Becky take it all.
WWE Championship: Kofi Kingston vs. Daniel Bryan – Winner: Daniel Bryan
This one is a tough one to predict as Vince is a wild card as you all know and he can change his mind quickly. I want to say Kofi but feel Vince does not like the idea of Kofi as champion. Kofi may win, however will probably lose the title quickly to maybe Lesnar, if Vince chooses to have Seth win. We can also see one of the new day members possibly turn heel which will be a shocker in some sorts considering how much the new day has been rooting for Kofi to get his opportunity. This one for me can go either way and is close to call.
Universal Championship: Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar- Winner: Seth Rollins
There is a lot of pressure on Vince to give the WWE Universe something different here. I feel that Seth should win this and if he does not, it will be a major blow to his character.
Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal – Winner: Kevin Owens
Because its Kevin Owens.
No Holds Barred: Triple H vs. Batista – Winner: Triple H
Not much to say in regards to this one. It is really self-explanatory.
Falls Count Anywhere: The Miz vs. Shane McMahon. Winner- The Miz
This one is also self explanatory. Now that the Miz is a babyface, and considering the hype the last two weeks, I do not see the Miz losing this one.
AJ Style vs. Randy Orton- Winner: Randy Orton
As much as I love AJ, I feel like Styles will lose this one. It is possible may be see a bigger AJ heel that you can ever imagine.
United States Championship: Rey Mysterio vs. Samoa Joe- Winner: Samoa Joe
I love Rey Mysterio. This will be an exciting match but the title will stay with Joe.
Women’s Tag Team Championship- Sasha Banks and Bayley vs. Beth Phoenix and Natalya vs. Nia Jax and Tamina Snuka vs. The Ilconics – Winner- Nia Jax & Tamina
As much I would love for Sasha and Bayley to retain, they might lose here and my guess they will lose to Nia Jax and Tamina. It makes the most sense for them to take over the reigns.
Kurt Angle vs. Baron Corbin – Winner: Kurt Angle
I cannot see him losing at the grandest stage of them all for his very last match of his career.
WWE Cruiserweight Championship: Tony Nese vs. Buddy Murphy. Winner: Tony Nese
I do not see Buddy winning this.
Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre – Winner: Roman Reigns
I do not see Roman losing. I think this will be a hell of a match, but with everything that’s happened, I don’t see Roman losing.
Intercontinental Championship: Finn Balor vs. Bobby Lashley – Winner: Finn Balor
It does not make sense for WWE creative team to have Balor hold the title less than a month to lose it to Lashley and then to lose again at WrestleMania. I suspect Lio Rush might be involved in this match. Now that Balor has confirmed that he will be the Demon King at WrestleMania, which I wish would have been kept a surprised until the event this Sunday. It will be epic to see the Demon King take over New York.
These are my earliest predictions. Stay tune for my complete predictions after SmackDown where I will give more of explanation on which I believe each match will bring to the table.
Until then fans, farewell.

Chris King: Is Brock Lesnar Truly Retired?
Brock Lesnar retired at WWE WrestleMania 42, right? Are we totally sure? Chris King asks…
Brock Lesnar retired at WWE WrestleMania 42, right? Are we totally sure? Chris King asks…
At WrestleMania 42, ‘The Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar took off his boots and gloves following his loss to Oba Femi. Lesnar has done it all inside of his twenty-four-year career in professional wrestling. He’s a ten-time WWE Champion and former UFC Heavyweight Champion, and he’s one who ended The Undertaker’s undefeated streak at WrestleMania.
While Lesnar was in the ring, he was visibly overwhelmed with emotion and crying while he thanked the fans in his own way. The Beast even threw up an x to signal to Paul Heyman, his longtime friend and advocate, that this was not scripted and was real. There had been rumors that Lesnar and Oba were supposed to have a series of matches before everything went down at Mania.
‘The Career Killer’ Gunther was doing Heyman’s bidding as he faced Seth Rollins for a favor. For a while now since Gunther retired Goldberg, John Cena, and AJ Styles, the rumor has been Gunther was set to retire Lesnar in his hometown at this year’s SummerSlam event. There’s been no confirmation if Lesnar is truly retired, but on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, we saw Heyman talking with General Manager Nick Aldis. Later that night following Rhodes’ match against the debuting Ricky Saints, Gunther choked out the WWE Champion. Could this be the favor from Heyman?
I know in the world of professional wrestling we live by the mantra of “never say never,” but what if Lesnar is actually retired and this was WWE’s way of shutting down those rumors about Gunther and Lesnar? What if Gunther’s next program is chasing after the WWE title, and where is Randy Orton at in all of these plans? There are so many questions that need to be answered, hopefully soon!

Chris King: Defend The Intercontinental Championship At Backlash!
With WWE Backlash upon us, Chris King wants to see Penta defend the Intercontinental Championship in Tampa!
With WWE Backlash upon us, Chris King wants to see Penta defend the Intercontinental Championship in Tampa!
This year’s annual Backlash showcase is only a few days away, and while there are many big matches announced, one that definitely should be isn’t on the card. In my opinion, outside of Roman Reigns/Jacob Fatu and Seth Rollins/Bron Breakker, the Intercontinental Championship scene has been stellar over the last month.
Penta has been an excellent champion, especially after his triumphant title defense in a ladder match against JeVon Evans, Rusev, Dragon Lee, and the Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania 42. Their ladder match at Mania was one of the best that WWE has produced in a while.
The momentum never stopped, as on the post-Mania episode of Monday Night Raw, ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page made his debut and was quickly inserted into the Intercontinental title scene. Page had a fantastic showing against his longtime NXT rival Evans and picked up a big win in his debut match thanks to an assist from Rusev.
All Ego immediately joined forces with ‘The Bulgarian Brute’ Rusev, who was also vying for the Intercontinental Title in his own right. On this week’s episode of Raw, Page and Rusev defeated Evans and Penta. All Ego pinned the champion, making a huge statement and putting him one step closer to getting a title shot. For the past few weeks I’ve been anxiously waiting to see if WWE was going to add this incredible fatal four-way match for the Intercontinental Championship, but it hasn’t happened yet.
As much as the WWE Universe enjoys witnessing great matches on free television, I truly believe all four superstars deserve the chance to showcase their talents on the PLE. While Penta has done a terrific job as the intercontinental champion, it’s time for a fresh face to hold the prestigious title. Page would make a great braggadocious heel that would help elevate the Intercontinental Championship to new heights!
