Kylie Rae Granted AEW Release

One of the bigger hires that All Elite Wrestling had made for it’s women’s division was Kylie Rae. During the All-Out post show, AEW President Tony Khan confirmed that Rae asked for and was granted her released from the company. There had been rumors from Meltzer that Rae was dealing with some type of undisclosed medical issue.

Jason’s Take

Rae looked like she was going to be the face of the AEW women’s division. Hopefully there isn’t something serious that caused her to ask for her release.

Next AEW PPV Announced

During the All Out pay per view on Saturday, the company announced it’s next pay per view which will air November 9th. AEW Full Gear will air live from the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore.

Jason’s Take

AEW appears to be taking the approach of airing a pay per view roughly every two months. This feels like a smart idea as it will give the company the ability to build storylines for more meaningful matches at its pay per views.

PWI 500 Released

Those of use who are long time wrestling fans grew up with Pro Wrestling Illustrated. Every year the company release its list of the top 500 wrestlers in the world. This year, Seth Rollins tops the list of 500. The Top 10 are:

    1. Seth Rollins
    2. Daniel Bryan
    3. AJ Styles
    4. Kofi Kingston
    5. Kazuchika Okada
    6. Johnny Gargano
    7. Roman Reigns
    8. Kenny Omega
    9. Hiroshi Tanahashi
    10. Will Ospreay

Jason’s Take

The PWI 500 has always had a special place in my heart. It is where I would find out about wrestlers on the indie scene that I have never heard of, and international stars I was never aware of. Congrats to Rollins on topping this list.

Enzo And Cass Returning ?

On Friday, Dave Meltzer had reported that Big Cass and Enzo would possibly be returning to WWE as part of the NXT brand. Since then, both WWE, and HHH have denied any interest in bringing the two back. During an interview with TalkSport, HHH would say:

“I immediately then had our PR go like, ‘yeah, no, zero interest’” HHH told McCarthy, after being quizzed on the speculation.I have 104, or 110 talent depending on the moment at the Performance Center in the U.S., another 45 – 50 here [in the U.K.] plus some development stuff around the world. I’m not worried [about filling a two hour show every week]. The interesting thing about today’s world is, if you call up someone willing to believe anything, you can tell them anything you want in order to try and drum up business for yourself. Congratulations to Enzo, I’m sure spreading rumors has worked well for him. I just don’t want any part of it.”

Jason’s Take

Well, could HHH put it any more bluntly ?

Former WWE Star Reveals How Company Tests Wrestlers for an “Attitude Problem”

Published

on

A former WWE star took to social media to explain, in brief, how WWE evaluates its talent to determine whether they have an “attitude problem.” The post offered a glimpse into the company’s behind-the-scenes vetting process, suggesting that behavior and professionalism are actively monitored during a wrestler’s time with the promotion.

While the explanation was limited, the revelation underscores WWE’s focus on maintaining locker-room culture and managing talent dynamics. Fans and industry observers may read the post as further evidence that character and conduct behind the curtain can be as consequential as in-ring performance.

WWE Backlash Match Sparks “Clone War” Debate in Wrestling Community

Published

on

Wrestling fans and insiders are abuzz after a match at WWE Backlash was accused of “copycatting” a formula previously used by an independent wrestler, a situation some are calling a new “clone war” in the industry. The controversy highlights growing concerns about creative overlap between major promotions and the indie scene.

The debate raises questions about originality and recognition, with observers wondering whether mainstream companies should acknowledge or adapt indie ideas more transparently. As the story spreads, fans and performers alike are watching to see how promotions handle influence, credit, and creative borrowing moving forward.
