Kevin Owens Headed Back To NXT?
NXT makes its USA debut tonight, and there may be a surprise or two in store. According to PWInsider, the expectations with many backstage in WWE is that Kevin Owens will be returning to NXT, which ties in the storyline of him being fired from WWE.
Jason’s Take
It has long been rumored that WWE could possibly be sending some main rosters stars back down to NXT even before the move to USA was announced. I like the idea, and it plays into the current Owens and Shane McMahon storyline. Could it be possible that we seen even more stars from the main roster return to NXT?
Paul Heyman In Charge Of RAW
Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Paul Heyman was fully in charge of RAW this week. Kevin Dunn, HHH, and Vince McMahon were all absent from backstage. HHH obviously already had his hands full with working on the NXT on USA debut this week.
Jason’s Take
I wish the company would let Heyman always be in charge of RAW, however, I can’t see that happening anytime soon.
Huge Match Announced For SmackDown on FOX
During Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live, Brock Lesnar made a surprise appearance. During the appearance, Paul Heyman announced that Lesnar will be taking on Kofi Kingtson on the first episode of SmackDown Live on FOX.

Jason’s Take
WWE is going to pull out all the stops for the first episode of SmackDown on FOX. While the first episode will most likely draw a decent rating, it will be interesting to see what the company does to continue to draw ratings. They wont have Lesnar challenging for the title every week.
AEW Weekly TV On TNT Finally Has A Name?
Shortly after the announcement of the formation of AEW and the announcement of weekly television on TNT, people wondered what the weekly TV show would be named. There were initial rumors that the program would be titled Tuesday Night Dynamite. Those rumors would be shot down as the program was moved to Wednesday. A recent trademark filing shows that AEW filed for the name All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite. Tony Kahn had stated he wanted the program to have a name, and for the show not to be titled All Elite Wrestling On TNT.
Jason’s Take
I don’t know why the company is so fascinated with the program being named dynamite, but to each his own.

Former WWE Star Reveals How Company Tests Wrestlers for an “Attitude Problem”
A former WWE star took to social media to explain, in brief, how WWE evaluates its talent to determine whether they have an “attitude problem.” The post offered a glimpse into the company’s behind-the-scenes vetting process, suggesting that behavior and professionalism are actively monitored during a wrestler’s time with the promotion.
While the explanation was limited, the revelation underscores WWE’s focus on maintaining locker-room culture and managing talent dynamics. Fans and industry observers may read the post as further evidence that character and conduct behind the curtain can be as consequential as in-ring performance.

WWE Backlash Match Sparks “Clone War” Debate in Wrestling Community
Wrestling fans and insiders are abuzz after a match at WWE Backlash was accused of “copycatting” a formula previously used by an independent wrestler, a situation some are calling a new “clone war” in the industry. The controversy highlights growing concerns about creative overlap between major promotions and the indie scene.
The debate raises questions about originality and recognition, with observers wondering whether mainstream companies should acknowledge or adapt indie ideas more transparently. As the story spreads, fans and performers alike are watching to see how promotions handle influence, credit, and creative borrowing moving forward.
