But I am also a man. And I believe men like me need to start to step up and realize that being disgusted, that not being part of the problem simply isn’t enough. The systemic oppression of black people, and the systemic overlooking of physical, emotional, and sexual aggression and violence towards women (and men) won’t be stopped unless the silent majority stops being silent.

I don’t know what’s next, but I know there has to be a next step from me. And I can’t do it along.
