Cook’s AEW All Out 2020 Gambling Picks

Back at it again with the gambling odds! Cook let’s us know what the current lines on each match are for All Out!

Published

on

All Elite Wrestling presents All Out this Saturday night! Nine big matches are currently scheduled, and there are ways to gamble on the outcomes because it’s 2020 and we need to bet on something. Why not bet on Jon Moxley or MJF? Or, hell, why not bet on a dentist having a match in a dentist office?

The lines come to us from BetOnline via betwwe.com. Reminder: these gambling picks are for entertainment purposes only.

Big Swole (-177) vs. Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. (+125)

This feud’s been going ever since Dr. Baker injured her knee, and now they’re facing off on the Buy-In. What’s a Tooth and Nail Match? Reportedly, it’s a cinematic style match that will take place at Dr. Baker’s dentist office. That has to give the advantage to Britt Baker, right? Big Swole has never been to her office, and I know whenever I go to a new dentist’s office I’m a little concerned about it. Plus you have to worry about Rebel, Penelope Ford and whoever else the Good Doctor might have on her side. As far as I know, Big Swole just has Lil’ Swole, and she hasn’t been signed yet.

The Young Bucks (-455) vs. Jurassic Express (+280)

These two teams won a 8-man match on Dynamite where the winning team would face off at All Out. Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus could certainly use a big win here on PPV, but the Young Bucks are fixing to become the top contenders for the next tag team champions. Also, they’re in a pretty bad mood these days. Should be a good solid match, and expect to see a darker side of Nick & Matt than you’re used to seeing.

Dark Order (-400) vs Cardona, Sky, Natural Nightmares (+250)

There was a time where the Dark Order was easily the worst thing going in AEW. Those days have passed now that the Exalted One, Mr. Brodie Lee, has gotten his men in gear. I also think Evil Uno putting a shirt on has helped the group immensely. Lee, Uno, Stu Grayson & “totally not a member” Colt Cabana will take on the Friends of Cody here, and one has to like the Dark Order’s chances. They have more people waiting in the wings, including the Queen Slayer Anna Jay to take care of Brandi Rhodes should Cody’s wife try to intervene.

Although…wouldn’t this be a fine time to establish the next challenger for the TNT Championship? I sure think so! Either Matt Cardona or Scorpio Sky would make sense in that role. I say go with the Friends of Cody getting a little revenge over somebody that isn’t Brodie Lee. Could get some good money there.

Casino Battle Royale
Darby Allin: +125
Lance Archer: +175
Brian Cage: +400
Eddie Kingston: +400
Jake Hager: +650
Pentagon Jr: +1000
Ricky Starks: +1000
Rey Fenix: +1500
Ortiz: +3300
Santana: +3300
Shawn Spears: +3300
Austin Gunn: +4000
Billy Gunn: +4000
Chuck Taylor: +4000
The Blade: +4000
The Butcher: +4000
Trent: +4000

We’ve got seventeen men announced for a twenty-one man match, so there’s a pretty fair chance that the winner isn’t even listed here. That’d bust some brackets. Darby’s listed as the favorite but I’d think it’d be pretty easy to toss him out of there. Out of every serious contender, Lance Archer is the one that hasn’t challenged for the AEW Championship yet. I’m going to go with him and say that EVERYBODY DIES.

Matt Hardy (-400) vs. Sammy Guevara (+250)

If Matt Hardy loses, he has to leave AEW. Unless this is leading to a new Hardy character that will deny any connection with the vessel hosting it, I don’t see Sammy getting the win in this Broken Rules Match. There’s a slight chance, and it might not hurt to throw a few bucks on it, but it seems like Matt’s match.

Orange Cassidy (-139) vs. Chris Jericho (+100)

Jericho was originally the favorite in this one, but the money’s come in on Cassidy over the last couple of days. You can win a Mimosa Mayhem match via pinfall, submission or by tossing your opponent into a vat of mimosa. I feel like Orange Cassidy is the smart pick here because Jericho’s idea of a good time these days probably involves swimming in a vat of mimosa. The first match between these two was really good, the second wasn’t mostly due to Jericho, so hopefully he brings his A game for the rubber match.

Hikaru Shida (-625) vs Thunder Rosa (+350)

Thunder Rosa’s showing against Serena Deeb impressed enough people to move this line a little bit closer. That being said, Shida is still an overwhelming favorite to defend her AEW Women’s Championship against the NWA Women’s Champion. Call me crazy, but this could be a good spot to make some money. I see no problem with Thunder Rosa holding the AEW & NWA Women’s Championships for a minute, especially since I see no immediate challengers for Shida on the horizon. Give her the belt for a little while & shake things up in the women’s division. Why not?

FTR (-500) vs Page/Omega (+300)

There have been many twists & turns in the saga of Kenny Omega & Hangman Adam Page. They’ve had problems getting along but have proven to have great chemistry in the ring. They’ve held the tag team titles for most of 2020 while other tag teams have scrapped for positions in the rankings. FTR didn’t have to do much of that, they came right in and won their way to the top. Now with Tully Blanchard by their side, they seem like a sure bet to be the next AEW Tag Team Champions. Will it happen at All Out?

I think so. FTR has played all the right notes since entering the company, including creating more dissension between Page & the Elite. They revealed their scheme on the last Dynamite, which didn’t seem like a terribly smart idea, but will that hurt them? Probably not. Page is struggling to figure things out while Omega seems to be reverting to his more villainous persona from his Bullet Club days. It’ll be interesting to see where they go from here.

Jon Moxley (-250) vs MJF (+175)

MJF’s show-closing bloodying of Moxley on this Wednesday’s Dynamite only served to make him more of an underdog in this match. We all know the old saying: “Stand tall on the go home show, lose on the PPV.” I don’t think Jon Moxley losing this match is very likely, as his title run seems to have more legs in it and MJF isn’t quite ready to be champion yet. I have no doubt he’ll get there, but right now doesn’t quite seem like his time. MJF’s election hopes will be dashed by Dictator Jon. It happens.

Chris King: Is Brock Lesnar Truly Retired?

Brock Lesnar retired at WWE WrestleMania 42, right? Are we totally sure? Chris King asks…

Brock Lesnar WWE WrestleMania 42 Retirement

Brock Lesnar retired at WWE WrestleMania 42, right? Are we totally sure? Chris King asks…

At WrestleMania 42, ‘The Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar took off his boots and gloves following his loss to Oba Femi. Lesnar has done it all inside of his twenty-four-year career in professional wrestling. He’s a ten-time WWE Champion and former UFC Heavyweight Champion, and he’s one who ended The Undertaker’s undefeated streak at WrestleMania.

While Lesnar was in the ring, he was visibly overwhelmed with emotion and crying while he thanked the fans in his own way. The Beast even threw up an x to signal to Paul Heyman, his longtime friend and advocate, that this was not scripted and was real. There had been rumors that Lesnar and Oba were supposed to have a series of matches before everything went down at Mania.

‘The Career Killer’ Gunther was doing Heyman’s bidding as he faced Seth Rollins for a favor. For a while now since Gunther retired Goldberg, John Cena, and AJ Styles, the rumor has been Gunther was set to retire Lesnar in his hometown at this year’s SummerSlam event. There’s been no confirmation if Lesnar is truly retired, but on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, we saw Heyman talking with General Manager Nick Aldis. Later that night following Rhodes’ match against the debuting Ricky Saints, Gunther choked out the WWE Champion. Could this be the favor from Heyman?

I know in the world of professional wrestling we live by the mantra of “never say never,” but what if Lesnar is actually retired and this was WWE’s way of shutting down those rumors about Gunther and Lesnar? What if Gunther’s next program is chasing after the WWE title, and where is Randy Orton at in all of these plans? There are so many questions that need to be answered, hopefully soon!

Chris King: Defend The Intercontinental Championship At Backlash!

With WWE Backlash upon us, Chris King wants to see Penta defend the Intercontinental Championship in Tampa!

Penta WWE Intercontinental Championship WrestleMania 42

With WWE Backlash upon us, Chris King wants to see Penta defend the Intercontinental Championship in Tampa!

This year’s annual Backlash showcase is only a few days away, and while there are many big matches announced, one that definitely should be isn’t on the card. In my opinion, outside of Roman Reigns/Jacob Fatu and Seth Rollins/Bron Breakker, the Intercontinental Championship scene has been stellar over the last month.

Penta has been an excellent champion, especially after his triumphant title defense in a ladder match against JeVon Evans, Rusev, Dragon Lee, and the Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania 42. Their ladder match at Mania was one of the best that WWE has produced in a while.

The momentum never stopped, as on the post-Mania episode of Monday Night Raw, ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page made his debut and was quickly inserted into the Intercontinental title scene. Page had a fantastic showing against his longtime NXT rival Evans and picked up a big win in his debut match thanks to an assist from Rusev.

All Ego immediately joined forces with ‘The Bulgarian Brute’ Rusev, who was also vying for the Intercontinental Title in his own right. On this week’s episode of Raw, Page and Rusev defeated Evans and Penta. All Ego pinned the champion, making a huge statement and putting him one step closer to getting a title shot. For the past few weeks I’ve been anxiously waiting to see if WWE was going to add this incredible fatal four-way match for the Intercontinental Championship, but it hasn’t happened yet.

As much as the WWE Universe enjoys witnessing great matches on free television, I truly believe all four superstars deserve the chance to showcase their talents on the PLE. While Penta has done a terrific job as the intercontinental champion, it’s time for a fresh face to hold the prestigious title. Page would make a great braggadocious heel that would help elevate the Intercontinental Championship to new heights!
