Matt & Nick Jackson held onto the AEW World Tag Team Championships with some help from their friends, but there ain’t no rest for the wicked! Before tonight, the Bucks attacked Rey Fenix, trying to screw over Death Triangle in advance! Will the Bastard and Cero Miedo not only earn themselves a title shot, but avenge the fallen Firebird?

Before the match, Matt bestows his weird cozy headband to Michael “MT” Nakazawa, but then FRANKIE KAZARIAN attacks! The Heavy Metal Rebel continues his vow to destroy the Elite one man at a time, and he’s going after Nakazawa! The barriers topple over, the Good Brothers rush over but Kaz gets away! The Bucks are furious but the match is waiting! The Bucks go to the apron, Death Triangle BOOT them down! And then DOUBLE FLY! Fans fire up as Penta CHOPS Matt and Pac whips Nick into the stage wall! Matt reaches out for help and Brandon Cutler tries to help Nick while Don Callis runs to commentary.

Nick hits Pac back, Matt uses his own jacket to hit Penta, and the Bucks reel the Death Triangle in. They want double bombs but get double back drops instead! Penta POSTS Matt, Pac brings Matt around and puts him in the ring. Matt clubs away on Pac, the bell finally rings, and Matt throws haymakers. Pac DECKS Matt with one! Penta tags Pac, Pac slingshots for a CUTTER! Pac then sets up for a STANDING SHOOTING STAR! Cover but Nick breaks it again! Penta gets Nick with a tilt-o-whirl backbreaker! Pac BOOTS Matt in a corner and puts him in the drop zone! Pac climbs, but Matt bails out. Pac hops down and storms after Matt, but Matt uses Cutler as a shield. Pac shoves Cutler away, and gets around Matt for a back suplex! But Matt lands on his feet, and Nick PENALTY KICKS Pac from the apron!

Nick runs and DECKS Penta off the corner while Matt soaks up the heat. Nick gets Pac up and holds him in place as Matt powers up. Matt builds speed, but slides out to go around the way, and he LARIATS Pac down! The fans boo as the Bucks are hamming it up. Matt goes back to the ring, Nick puts Pac in for him, and Cutler polishes Matt’s boots to keep them nice and shiny. But Matt turns around into Pac’s LARIAT! Nick gets in again to hit Penta down again! And then cartwheel MOONSAULT! Nick taunts Pac, shoulders in and slingshots, into a BOOT! But Matt SPEARS Pac down! Matt rains down fists, then fires up as he paces around.

Matt drops knees on Pac’s head, then paces around more. Matt mocks the fans for their chanting, then gets Pac up to bump him off buckles. Tag to Nick, the Bucks double whip Pac into the corner, but Pac dodges the corner splash! And then the next splash! And then he sidesteps Nick for a SNAP GERMAN! Nick is in a daze as he sits back up and fans fire up for Pac! Hot tag to Penta! Penta SLINGBLADES Matt! SLINGBLADE for Nick! Penta hits a CODE BREAKER SENTON COMBO on both Bucks! Fans are thunderous as Nick and Penta meet in the ring! Nick throws haymakers, Penta CHOPS! Nick punches, Penta KICKS! Penta Cero Miedo pie faces, runs, but Nick uses the ref as the shield! The ref gets knocked down, Nick kicks and tears off Penta’s mask! Wait, he had a second mask on underneath! Nick freaks out as Penta LOW BLOWS him!! FEAR FACTOR!! Tag to Pac, BLACK ARROW!! Cover, Matt breaks it in time!! Pac and Penta are furious, but Pac goes up top again. Matt distracts the ref with talk of neck pain, and Cutler CLOBBERS Pac with his camera! Nick gets Pac in a high stack, the Bucks win!!

Penta wants to point out a shoulder came up, but the Bucks attack him and Pac! Matt claws at Penta’s mask to rip it, and then the Bucks sit him up, but here comes EDDIE KINGSTON! Jon Moxley may be sidelined because of the BTE Trigger, but he isn’t about to let the Bucks do this to another friend! The Bucks and Cutler scurry away and Callis says Kingston is scary. The Bucks are right to fear the Mad King and Death Triangle, will each and every one of them get revenge on The Elite?

AEW returns and Tony Schiavone is in the ring.

We’re just two months away from AEW Rampage, Friday, August 13th! And as debuted at Double or Nothing, one of the analysts for that show will be the WORLD’S STRONGEST MAN, Mark Henry! Fans cheer as Henry makes his way out to the ring and shakes Schiavone’s hand as he gets a mic. He will be one of the commentators for Rampage, and he thanks Schiavone for this moment. Everyone knows Henry loves this business, and he isn’t here to “fix” AEW. “AEW is not broken.” What Henry is here to turn the screws. Then the question we all want to know is: Will Henry get back in the ring again?

Henry says that right now, he won’t say yes, but he’s got a lot left in the tank. But wait, is that Vickie Guerrero shrieking her way out here? It is! And she is telling Schiavone and Henry to move on out of HER ring. They’re not one to argue with a lady, while Vickie is here to introduce a man who has won championships around the world and is a third generation wrestler. Fans boo her shrieking but she says to welcome EL IDOLO!! Wait, what?! ANDRADE!??! IN AEW?!?! We know he is set to face Kenny Omega in AAA for THE AAA Mega Championship, but Andrade is now All Elite! Fans finally cheer, and Andrade says gracias to Vickie.

Andrade knows he used to say, “I am the face of Latinos,” but today, he is saying, “I will be the new face of ALL! ELITE! WRESTLING!” Fans like the sound of that! Andrade shows off his suit, and Vickie tells the fans to cheer. They don’t need to be told, they cheer El Idolo’s arrival and departure. Will Andrade look to take gold from Kenny Omega and just about anyone else in AEW?

Cody Rhodes & Lee Johnson w/ Arn Anderson VS QT Marshall & Anthony Ogogo w/ Aaron Solow!

The American Nightmare was the American Dream for Double or Nothing, and he defended his homeland with honor. But that doesn’t mean the war between Nightmare Family and QT’s Factory is over! Will Big Shotty help Cody beat The Gifted and Ogogo on this big fight Friday night? Or will being alongside The Factory’s leader tip the scales back in the Olympic boxer’s favor?

The teams sort out, Johnson starts with QT and QT pie faces right away. Johnson ROCKS QT, wrenches, YANKS the arm, and tags in Cody. Cody CLUBS the arm, wrenches and hits a wristlock. Tag to Johnson, they double whip QT and Cody drops so Johnson can dropkick QT! Cover, TWO! Johnson wrenches but QT throws him down by his hair! Tag to Ogogo, Ogogo doesn’t want Johnson, he wants Cody! Johnson gets up and Cody tags in. Fans fire up as they get to see Double or Nothing again. Cody and Ogogo circle, but Cody sees QT creeping in so Cody KNEES QT down! But Ogogo gets Cody for an OVERHEAD Belly2Belly! Cody staggers up, Ogogo throws hands and EuroUppers, then QT tags in.

QT and Ogogo mug Cody but Cody fights free! Cody hooks QT’s arm for a modified DDT! Fans rally, Cody tags Johnson! Big Shotty rallies on QT, swings and uppercuts, then a NECKBREAKER! Johnson kips up and fires up and runs at QT, but QT throws him out! Johnson has the ropes, skins the cat and he headscissors QT out! Johnson finishes skinning, but QT avoids the plancha! Johnson avoids a clothesline but not Ogogo’s BOOT! Arn coaches Johnson but QT puts him in. QT drags Johnson up as fans rally, and QT CHOPS Johnson in the corner. Ogogo tags in and he stomps Johnson’s ribs as AEW goes picture in picture.

Ogogo bumps Johnson off buckles and stomps a mudhole into him! Ogogo digs his boots in, but lets off as the ref counts. Ogogo gets Johnson back up, throws uppercuts then back elbows. Ogogo chokes Johnson with a forearm in his neck, then ROCKS him as the ref counts. The ref reprimands, Ogogo just shrugs it off and goes back to Johnson. Ogogo whips Johnson corner to corner and runs in to clothesline! Ogogo keeps going, BASEMENT UPPERCUT! Cover, TWO! Ogogo keeps Johnson from Cody, bumps him off buckles, and tags in QT. QT gets Johnson up but Johnson throws hands! QT kicks low, reels Johnson in and hits a BIG suplex! Cover, TWO!

Cody and Arn rally for Johnson, but QT gets Johnson up and brings him around to knee Johnson’s leg! QT stomps Johnson, keeps between him and Cody, and Johnson grabs at ropes. Johnson gets up to ENZIGURI QT! QT stays standing, catches Johnson’s leap for a SWINGING BACKBREAKER to COMPLETE SHOT! Cover, TWO! QT’s lethal combination didn’t finish this but he keeps on Johnson with a neck wrench. Johnson endures, fights up, throws body shots, but QT CLUBS him on the back. QT whips Johnson to ropes, but Johnson flapjack dropkicks him away! AEW returns to single picture as the fans fire up for Big Shotty!

Johnson crawls to the corner, hot tag to Cody! Cody sees QT on the outside and fires off hands! Cody THROWS QT into the ring! QT gets up, Cody hits a clothesline! And a suplex TOSS! QT flounders to a corner but Cody is right on him for a rain of fists! Cody gets all 10, hops down and goes corner to corner, to monkey flip! QT flounders around again, Cody kicks and hits the Rhodes Uppercut! But QT dodges the clothesline to back suplex. Cody lands on his feet and DISASTER KICKS Ogogo! Cody dodges QT for the SPINNING POWERSLAM! Fans are thunderous as Cody has QT all alone! Cody gets a leg, steps through, and has the FIGURE FOUR!

QT endures as Cody puts as much leverage as he can. But Ogogo throws Johnson into railing! And then gets in to FROG SPLASH onto Cody!! Ogogo risks his own ribs but he saves QT! QT gets up and stalks Cody, to reel him in for a DIAMOND CUTTER!! Cover, TWO?!?! And Johnson adds on with a SWANTON BOMB!! All three men are down but Ogogo returns! Johnson dodges, but Ogogo comes back to clothesline both Johnson and himself out! Cody and QT rise slowly, and they throw haymakers! Cody ROCKS QT but Aaron Solow distracts! Cody gets QT with the dragon sleeper, but Ogogo gets in with a KO PUNCH!! QT covers, The Factory wins!

Winners: The Factory, by pinfall

Solow celebrates with his team as Arn comes in to check on Cody. Ogogo’s the man with stone fists, and that shot to Cody’s jaw was definitely a lethal shot! QT gets a mic to say, “I shocked the world! I told you all I could do it!” Schiavone is speechless because he was never a believer in QT! QT shocked the world and now they’re stuck up there with stupid looks on their faces! But Nightmare Family VS The Factory isn’t done tonight! Will Nick Comoroto whoop Dustin Rhodes to complete a sweep on Dynamite? Or can the Natural avenge his brother to close out the show?

The Inner Circle heads to the ring!

Chris Jericho, Santana, Ortiz, Sammy Guevara and Jake Hager are back and still together after their emphatic victory over The Pinnacle! The fans sing Judas for them as they get mics, and Jericho revels in it. “Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce to you the 2021 Stadium Stampede Le Champeooons~, THE INNER CIRCLE!” And because they dig the fans so much, thank you so much for the support, everyone live in the audience is getting an Inner Circle Stadium Stampede shirt for free! Just look under your chairs! And this isn’t a prank, either! It’s real, and that’s a lot of shirts!

And now, Jericho introduces us to the reason why the Inner Circle is still together, it’s the hero of Stadium Stampede 2, SAMMY GUEVARA! Fans cheer Sammy on and he says, “I’m on such a high right now.” What a moment Double or Nothing was, ending with 630 onto “that idiot,” Shawn Spears. Sammy used to do the 630 off his mom’s roof in the backyard. He used to do that and mom would tell him, “Sam, get off the roof!” And he’d go, “Okay,” and then just do the 630 anyway. But to go from backyard to the main event of Double of Nothing to close the show, and keep his brothers together, that is a night he’ll never forget. Sammy thanks them all and says he loves them all.

The Inner Circle hug, and then Santana says that’s right about that was the greatest moment in their lives and careers. Like they discussed backstage, what did they do other than keep the crew together? They’ve still gotta pass by The Pinnacle in the hall. They’ve still gotta listen to The Pinnacle’s boasting and bragging about money and suits and limos. So the real accomplishment would be having them in a ditch somewhere on the I-95. But that’s just Santana being Santana. To keep it real, FTR tried to end their careers with those table piledrivers. FTR tried to take food out their families’ mouths. That doesn’t sit right with Santana. So know this: the Inner Circle VS Pinnacle war is FAR FROM OVER!

Jake Hager says, “They LIED to us! They double-crossed us! They tried to end us! Now, they don’t get to say when this is over.” The Pinnacle’s got no choice but to man up and take this ass whooping again, and again, and again, until The Inner Circle says they’re done. Got that, Wardlow? Hager’s pulling Wardlow’s man card first! Wardlow beat Hager once in an AEW ring, but now Hager wants Wardlow to step into an arena he’s never been beaten in: an MMA OCTAGON!! Fans like the sound of that! Hager wants it in two weeks, right here on Dynamite! Man up, Wardlow!

Jericho says the group’s making great points. This war is not over. When he thinks of Shawn Spears, it pisses Jericho off. When he thinks of Wardlow and that powerbomb through the stage that put Jericho out for a month, it pisses him off. But most of all, when he thinks of “that mealy mouthed, pretentious, self-righteous little PRICK, MJF, it pisses me off!!” Sammy feels the same. There’s unfinished business there, too. But the difference here is that MJF tried to end Jericho’s career, and even his life, when he shoved him off Blood & Guts’ cage. Jericho hasn’t been the same since, and he thinks about it every single day.

Jericho wakes up in a cold sweat about how close it was to the end for him. And Jericho realizes, he has to settle the score! So Jericho knows the Inner Circle embarrassed The Pinnacle with a Bubbly bath, but that wasn’t enough. Jericho knows he beat and humiliated MJF in the upper deck, but that wasn’t enough. Jericho says that until he can ruin MJF’s career and life the way he tried to do to Jericho, this will never be over, do you understand him!?

MJF calls Jericho The GOAT, the Greatest of All Time. Jericho isn’t sure if he believes that about himself, but he does believe this: “When I think of MJF saying what he said, if I’m as good as he thinks I am, if I’m good as I need to be to continue to build AEW into the greatest company in the world today…! WHICH IT IS! I must, I will, I need, and I am going to beat MJF! I’ll say it again! I’m going to beat MJF!” This isn’t over, and that’s because the Inner Circle never forgives and sure has hell NEVER F’N FORGETS!! The Painmaker is fired up, and he has his boys backing him up! The Summer of Violence and Pain is just beginning, who will be standing come the Fall?

AEW hears from Best Friends.

Chuck Taylor isn’t sure why they’re doing this. Does he have to hold our hands to walk us through it? Does he have to insult our intelligence? If you saw Double or Nothing, you saw what happened. Kenny Omega is supposed to be the best in the world? Trent would like to point out that the “sunglasses comedy guy” had him beat twice in that match. Don Callis, why are you even here? You are a useless conman, and Cassidy should be champion. But bad guys cheat and win. Cassidy says, “If you think this is over, it’s not.” When and where will Freshly Squeezed get his fair shake against the Cleaner?

Kenny Omega and Don Callis do video package editing.

Kenny likes those frames. Maybe if there was some filters, it’d make the colors pop. Get the shots of the ref out of there. But this is good here. Alex Marvez apologizes for interrupting but Best Friends are accusing them of cheating Cassidy out of the win. Callis feels like Marvez is the one accusing them of something. Maybe we should move on from this “false narrative,” this “Dark Side of AEW” to the con job (as opposed to screw job) to take the AEW title off Omega. We should talk about the thing they’re working on here. They have the raw footage, and are going to blow the lid off this conspiracy next Friday on Dynamite! They’ll reveal the anti-Omega conspiracy going on around here!

Omega says Nakazawa is on the job, this is hot off the presses. Marvez points out that Omega still has to face Jungle Boy for the AEW World Championship in three weeks, who overcame 20 other competitors and won the Casino Battle Royale. Wow, 20? How many were in the top 5 rankings? Probably none. But there’s a big difference between being a Jungle Boy and a jungle man, and then an even bigger difference than a jungle man and a jungle champion. But the people love him, love to cheer for him. Heck, even Omega loves JB and that music. He can hear it now! Omega sings the Tarzan Boy “OooOOOoOO~,” and Callis joins in. Shouldn’t we go to see Jungle Boy? Yes, JB and Christian Cage are up next!

Christian Cage & Jungle Boy VS Private Party w/ Matt Hardy!

Captain Charisma was a finalist in the Casino Battle Royale, but as we know, Jungle Boy shocked him and us by winning! But they both have some beef to settle with the Hardy Family Office and are going to do it side by side! Will Christian and JB be able to outwork Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy? Or will Big Money Matt being ringside be a big factor?

The teams sort out, Christian starts with Kassidy and they circle. They tie up, Christian waistlocks then drags Kassidy down to get an arm. Christian tags JB and he climbs to drop ax handles on Kassidy’s arm. JB wrenches the arm, YANKS it, has a wristlock, and tags Christian. Christian takes the arm to hotshot it! Christian gets in to wrench the arm but Kassidy gets free to tag Quen. Quen says he’s got this, but he turns around into Christian’s FLAPJACK! Tag to JB, he and Christian double whip and double hip toss! Cover, ONE! JB facelocks but Quen JAWBREAKERS! Tag to Kassidy and he climbs up to drop ax handles on JB’s arm.

Kassidy wrenches, tags Quen back in, and Quen climbs up to shout out Hardy, but leaps into a kick! JB goes up and over Quen to wrench and CHOP Kassidy! JB knuckle locks with Quen, KICKS his leg, then goes up the ropes for a Arabian DOUBLE ARM-DRAG! Private Party ends up outside and fans fire up! Hardy talks trash to JB but JB sees Private Party regroup. JB runs and slides but the HFO disperses! JB elbows Kassidy, goes up to GAMANGIRI Quen down, then climbs. Kassidy anchors a foot but JB pushes him away. JB leaps but Quen dropkicks him out of the air! Cover, TWO! Quen keeps on JB with knees to the back, then drags him up to tag in Kassidy.

Private Party stomp mudholes into JB, then Quen whips Kassidy in. JB tosses Kassidy out, dodges Quen and slides under. Kassidy slingshots but JB dodges the senton! JB shoulders into Quen, slingshots up and over and dodges Kassidy, hot tag to Christian! Christian rallies on Kassidy, Kassidy reverses the whip but Christian CLOBBERS him! Hardy is furious as Christian stands on Kassidy at the ropes! Christian lets off to slingshot and UPPERCUT! Christian gets back in, goes up and hits a FLYING UPPERCUT! Christian waits for Kassidy to stand, but Kassidy kicks low! Kassidy RAMS Christian into the HFO corner but Christian fights out with heavy hands!

Christian has Kassidy in the corner, climbs up and rains down fists! Hardy distracts, Quen HOTSHOTS Christian from the top! JB protests but the ref missed it as Kassidy looms over Christian and AEW goes picture in picture.

Kassidy digs his knee into Christian’s neck and chest, the ref counts and Kassidy lets off at 4. Kassidy gets Christian up to put in the HFO corner and choke him! The ref counts, Kassidy lets off at 4 and Quen gets his cheap shots in. JB protests, but Private Party mug Christian against ropes! The ref counts, Quen stomps choking Christian, but then Kassidy talks trash right to Christian’s face. Quen drags Christian up and in, JB and fans rally but Quen chokes Christian on ropes again! The ref counts, Quen lets off but Kassidy chokes Christian right behind her back! Tag to Kassidy, and he still chokes Christian!

The ref reprimands and counts and Kassidy lets off, to then run and springboard hotshot! Cover, TWO! The HFO is annoyed but Kassidy keeps between Christian and JB. Kassidy wraps on a facelock and grinds Christian back towards the corner. Christian keeps fighting, but Quen gets a foot to drag him back! Kassidy gets Christian up, throws body shots and backs Kassidy down, to then roll him for a cradle! TWO, and Kassidy throat chops Christian down! The ref reprimands but Kassidy sucker punches JB! Kassidy soaks up the heat as AEW returns to single picture, and he stands on Christian’s leg. Tag to Quen and Private Party combine for the wheelbarrow SPLASH!

Quen and Kassidy strike a five second pose! They mock the E&C Connection then stomp Christian down. Quen stands on Christian, stomps him, then tags Kassidy. Private Party gets Christian up and coordinate in a corner, but Christian throws body shots! Kassidy DECKS Christian, then hotshots JB just as he gets back up! Kassidy tags Quen, they drag Christian up, but fans rally as they puppet him for the five second pose. But he grabs them for DOUBLE REVERSE DDT’S! Hardy is furious with his team as Christian reaches for JB! Quen grabs a leg, Christian BOOTS him away, hot tag to Jungle Boy! JB rallies on Quen, then on Kassidy!

JB forearms and CHOPS Quen in a corner, whips him corner to corner but Quen runs in, into an elbow! ROLLING ELBOW! UPPERCUT! JB whips but Quen reverses, only to get the REBOUND LARIAT! Fans fire up for JB and he drags Quen up. SNAP BRAINBUSTER! Cover, TWO!! Quen survives but JB keeps cool as he WRECKS Kassidy with a dropkick! JB aims from the apron, shoulders into Quen and steps in for a TORNADO DDT! Cover, TWO! Quen lives but JB has him in the SNARE TRAP!! Kassidy CLOBBERS JB, but Christian gets in to ROCK him with right hands! Christian PLANCHAS but Hardy saves Kassidy! Christian hits floor!

JB grabs at Kassidy but gets a thumb to the eye! Quen rolls JB up and holds tights, TWO!! Fans are thunderous for JB as Quen puts him up top. Quen and Kassidy coordinate, but Christian slides in. JB holds off Gin ‘n’ Juice and Christian SPEARS Kassidy down! JB gets Quen around for a SNARE TRAP!! Quen taps, JB and Christian win!!

Winners: Christian Cage & Jungle Boy, by submission

The third-ranked tag team in AEW is no longer undefeated in 2021! And as for Jungle Boy, he’s another step closer to the world title! Will he be as red hot as the summer itself once he finally faces Kenny Omega?

But Hardy still gets Christian for a TWIST OF FATE to the ramp! The leech is a chicken and he runs away! Will Christian make Big Money Matt pay for this in due time?

Team Taz speaks.

“Hangman Page, this past Sunday at Double or Nothing, you got lucky, brother.” Hangman got lucky against Brian Cage and the team. But that’s fine, because while Hangman got one over The Machine, The Machine already has one over on Hangman. Next week, Hangman will pick a partner from The Dark Order to deal with BOTH the Powerhouse and the Machine in a 2v2 tag match! And it’ll be bad news, Taz guarantees it! Go ahead and scout these guys on Elevation, because Cage and Hobbs will tear through two poor sons o’ bitches. Hangman, you will learn that you screwed around with the wrong club. Who will Hangman have backing him up for next week’s third Friday Night Dynamite in a row?

Schiavone is back in the ring.

One of the most memorable moments at Double or Nothing was seeing this man in the ring for the first time in over six years, helping his team to victory. Schiavone introduces Darby Allin and… STIIIIIING~! The Relentless and the Icon are here again after winning a traditional tag team match with Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky, and Schiavone congratulates them both. That was a sensational night, and everyone was glad to be part of it. Sting takes the mic to say that he has had so many incredible experiences in wrestling. But last Sunday, Double or Nothing, right here in Daily’s Place, will be a night that he never, ever, ever forgets! That stands up to anything he’s ever done in this business!

Fans chant, “You Still Got It!” for Sting and Darby nods agreement. Sting thanks them for that, and appreciates them all. But someone is sarcastically clapping on the titantron. It’s Scorpio Sky, with Ethan Page by his side. Scorpio mockingly says congratulations are in order. “Sting, you were remarkable on Sunday, you really were.” Now we know why he is The Icon. He even smelled good! But what matters is that he was so good that he could even drag Darby Allin over the finish line. Literally! Because when Ethan threw Darby so hard he landed in the front row, if it wasn’t for Sting dragging him over the railing, Darby’d still be down out there.

And furthermore, Ethan wants Darby to know Sting has been carrying Darby through his AEW career! Ethan knows Darby stands for fighting and spirit, but all Ethan sees is a “spineless, codependent BITCH.” So it goes like this: find anyone other than Sting, and prove them wrong! All Ego & The Face of the Revolution have put forth a challenge, and Darby is speechless! Who will the Relentless One turn to in order to settle things with Scorpio & Ethan?

AEW returns, with a celebration prepared!

Schiavone is still in the ring, with Vickie Guerrero, Nyla Rose, Chaos Project, The Hybrid2, Diamante and the entire Pretty Picture standing together by a table that has one, something hidden under a red felt cloth, and two, a platter STACKED with burgers. Schiavone says that it was quite the night at Double or Nothing for many, but none bigger, perhaps, than the crowning of a NEW AEW Women’s World Champion! Welcome both Rebel, and The Doctor, BRITT BAKER, DMD! Britt and Rebel make their way out to the ring, the newly redesigned title around Britt’s waist, and Rebel showing off Britt’s new merchandise shirts.

Ryan Nemeth and Rebel help Britt with the ropes, Britt is handed the mic and says, “Wow! Thank you, everybody, form the bottom of my heart for attending my championship celebration. This means the world to me.” And from what she understands, the fans all got freebies tonight. She never thought she could one-up Chris Jericho, but… LA Champion outdid herself because she was gifted 1500 BURGER COUPONS. So get in on the fun, get that coupon! Show ’em off! Uh, are you sure they’re there? Oh, wait, sorry. They’re all still right here, with Britt, where they belong! BRITT did the work, SHE #OutWorkedEveryone, and everyone else was just along for the ride.

You can’t deny that when Britt is on TV, your eyes are glued to her. She promised a whole new era, and damn was she right! Did you know what letters she saw all over the place on Sunday? DMD! And what letters did she hear deafening chants for? DMD! And do you know what three letters will elevate this company to a whole new stratosphere? DMD! The AEW Women’s World Champion! Fans are divided but Britt says she’s going to invite two people worthy enough to come along for the ride. Schiavone, get yourself a burger. Rebel, you, too. Yes, with your hands, Schiavone! Burger cheers!

But Nyla SLAPS the cheeseburgers right out of their hands! And then throws some to the crowd! Well, they won’t hold up flying through the air, but the thought is what counts. Nyla flips Britt off and storms out. The Native Beast even pops the balloons! Will Nyla be feasting on a title opportunity instead?

Alex Marvez interviews Eddie Kingston.

The Mad King saved Penta and Pac, but then Penta and Pac storm in and asks what the hell! “Let it be known, we don’t want your help! We don’t need your help! So keep your nose out of our business, ya understand?!” Kingston wants The Bastard and his former best friend to understand, because he’ll keep it simple: “The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Let that marinate in your brains for a little bit.” Is that Kingston’s way of asking for an alliance against The Elite? Will Death Triangle accept the offer?

Red Velvet w/ Big Swole & KiLynn King VS The Bunny w/ The Hardy Family Office!

With a new women’s champion comes new opportunities to be a contender! But will Velvet serve up an L as she stirs it up? Or will Allie drag her down the rabbit hole and frolic her way to the title?

The second Velvet gets in the ring, Bunny attacks! Velvet is ready, though, and she drop toeholds her to ropes! Velvet runs as the bell rings and DOUBLE KNEES Bunny down! Then STANDING MOONSAULTS! Cover, TWO! Bunny bails out and regroups with Blade, but Velvet builds speed to DIVE! Direct hit but risky for Velvet! Velvet shakes it off and fires up to get Bunny back in the ring. Velvet drags Bunny to a cover, TWO! Bunny sputters to a corner but Velvet runs in for boxing body shots! The ref counts, Velvet lets off to stomp a mudhole into Bunny! Velvet stirs it up as she digs her boot in and does the splits! The ref counts again, Velvet taunts Blade as she lets off then drags Bunny.

Velvet has Bunny in a drop zone, then she climbs up, but Bunny mule kicks a leg out! Velvet is stuck up top, Bunny SUPERKICKS her to the floor! Blade laughs at Velvet and says that’s what she gets! Bunny skips around, laughs like a hyena, then goes out to fetch Velvet. Bunny stomps Velvet, drags her up, and puts her in. Fans chant “Stir It Up!’ as Bunny stalks Velvet and drags her up. AEW returns Velvet rallies on Allie with forearms! And a calf kick! Velvet fires up with the fans as Bunny flounders to a corner. Velvet runs in to SHINING WIZARD! And RUNNING STUNNER! Cover, TWO!! Velvet is beside herself but Swole and King coach her up. Velvet gets Bunny up but Bunny ROCKS Velvet and fireman’s carries. Velvet fights out, KICKS and KICKS, then runs, into a SUPERKICK!! Both women flounder, Blade slips Bunny something but Velvet’s friends protest! They’re only helping Bunny get away with this! Bunny aims at Velvet, but misses the brass knuckle punch! Mule kick to JUST DESSERTS! Cover, Velvet wins!!

Winner: Red Velvet, by pinfall

Incredible! Velvet beats Bunny and is surely moving up the rankings! Will Velvet prove herself a contender? Will Britt Baker have to watch her back, and her teeth, for this one?

The Dark Order speaks.

It’s John Silver’s birthday! And #JohnnyHungy! But not just for cake, he’s hungy for gold! He and Tony Khan talked, and while Tony wanted to give Silver another TNT Championship opportunity, Silver’s still not medically cleared. So Silver said to give the shot to Evil Uno! Really!? These opportunities don’t come often so Uno vows to make them proud! The Dark Order is fired up, but can Player One really beat The Best Man? Speaking of…

Miro speaks.

THE AEW TNT Champion starts by thanking God for blessing him with physical power. And then a special shout out to his super hot wife. And then Miro brings up what we just learned: Evil Uno is his next challenger? Pfft. That makes no sense. Miro is bigger, faster, and undefeated. Uno comes from an emotional place, but maybe he’ll be too emotionally involved with something that doesn’t belong to him, and that will only get him hurt. Miro has no feelings. He will use this as a teachable moment for the rest of the AEW roster: You don’t come after someone like Miro when you just think you may win. You come after Miro when you know… you can survive! Will Uno simply be the first to fall to the Bulgarian Barbarian?

AEW is set for yet another Friday Night Dynamite!

Not only will there be the TNT Championship match, but there will be a Trios Match of The Young Bucks & Brandon Cutler VS Eddie Kingston & Death Triangle! Will the uneasy alliance work out against The Elite? And Team Taz’s challenge has been accepted by Hangman and NUMBER 10, Preston Vance! Will the Dark Order’s behemoth be enough to help the Anxious Millennial Cowboy to stop Cage AND Hobbs?

Bullrope Match: Dustin Rhodes VS Nick Comoroto w/ Aaron Solow!

An AEW first is between a man who dominates this match type, and the Freak Beast of the Factory! They call him the Natural, but will Dustin be able to defy physical limitations against a man who is bigger, stronger and hairier? Or will Comoroto be a wrecking ball that secures the sweep?

AEW returns once more as Comoroto makes his entrance. Dustin meets him at the ramp and the brawl is on! Dustin gets the edge, bumps Comoroto of buckles, but Comoroto doesn’t even flinch! Dustin throws hands but Comoroto knees low! Comoroto gorilla presses then TOSSES Dustin into the ring! The ref hurries to stop this because the rope is the important part of the match! Comoroto lets his hand be strapped in, fans rally up for Dustin, and the bell rings! Comoroto reels Dustin in but Dustin uses that to throw hands! Comoroto shoves, Dustin dodges and trips Comoroto up with the rope, to then YOINK into the Freak Beast’s wrecking balls!

Dustin gets the cowbell and takes aim, but Comoroto dumps him to the apron! Comoroto hotshots Dustin, then chokes him with the strap! Dustin CLOCKS Comoroto with the cowbell! Dustin gets back in, runs and leaps, but into Comrmoto’s arms! Comoroto pops Dustin up, but Dustin slips off and untangles himself to clothesline Comoroto and himself out! Dustin is up first but Comoroto throws hands. Dustin hits Comoroto in the ribs with the cowbell! Comoroto staggers, Dustin hits him again! And ROCKS him with a haymaker! Comoroto shoves Dustin, Dustin runs back in but Comoroto tosses him up and over railing! Dustin lands nicely in a front row seat, and chokes Comoroto with ropes!

Comoroto elbows free, ROCKS Dustin, and Dustin sits back down. Comoroto hops the rail to get Dustin up for haymakers. Comoroto pushes the wrestlers ringside around to clear space, but Fuego Del Sol fights back! Comoroto just TOSSES Fuego into everyone else!! Dustin DECKS Comoroto, and hops back over the railing. Dustin checks on Fuego, he and the others are alright, so Dustin goes looking under the ring. Solow goes after Dustin since there’s no disqualifications, but Dustin fights him off to hit a SPINNING POWERSLAM! Dustin glares at Solow, but Comoroto reels him in for a SPEAR! Fans boo but Comoroto, bloody forehead and all, just roars!

Comoroto paces while Dustin sits up. Comoroto stomps Dustin, drags him up, and bumps him off railing! Fans cheer Dustin on but Comoroto paces. Comoroto drags Dustin up, puts him in the ring, but Dustin bails out the other side. Dustin has the rope around the post and he YANKS Comoroto into steel! And then headlocks, only for Comoroto to pick up and SLAM Dustin into the apron! Comoroto gets in the ring as AEW goes picture in picture.

Comoroto has a crimson mask as he drags Dustin up and into the ring with the rope! Cover, TWO!! Dustin survives but Comoroto paces around as he seethes. Comoroto drags Dustin up, but Dustin throws body shots! Comoroto whips Dustin, and JAMS him with the cowbell! Dustin drops in a heap and Comoroto paces around, still bleeding all over himself. Comoroto HAMMERS Dustin with the cowbell, chokes him with the rope, but Dustin refuses to give up. Comoroto drops ax handles, covers, TWO! Dustin gets up and to a corner, kicks back, and kicks again. Comoroto throws hands, whips corner to corner, and Dustin hits hard!

Comoroto paces, looms over Dustin, and CLOBS him with the cowbell! And then drops elbows! Dustin fires up and fans fire up with him! Dustin ROCKS Comoroto with haymakers, but Comoroto whips. Dustin holds ropes then dumps Comoroto out to the apron. Dustin CHOKES Comoroto now! AEW returns to single picture as Dustin CLUBS away on Comoroto! Solow hurries to help by getting a TABLE! Dustin and Comoroto brawl on the apron, Solow sets that table up nearby, and Comoroto elbows Dustin. Dustin runs but into a scoop! Comoroto aims but Dustin slips off! Dustin has the rope and CLOBBERS Comoroto with it all!

Dustin goes out and fires up as he runs on the apron. Comoroto dodges the kick, gets Dustin off the apron, and POWERBOMBS him through the table!! Solow is fired up and fans lose their minds as Comoroto gets Dustin up and into the ring! Cover, TWO?!?! Dustin survives and no one can believe it! Dustin fires himself up as Comoroto does the same. Solow undoes a buckle pad! But COLTEN GUNN goes after Solow! The Factory’s Ogogo put his brother, Austin, on the shelf for who knows how long, so Colten’s going to get back at someone! Dustin kicks Comoroto, hits the Rhodes Uppercut, then runs to BULLDOG! And then the FINAL RECKONING on the cowbell! Cover, ONE?!?!?

Comoroto roars, he is definitely a Freak Beast! Dustin aims, but Comoroto blocks the cowbell attack! So Dustin LOW BLOWS! Dustin runs to LARIAT, but Comoroto stays up! Dustin tries again, Comoroto is still up! Dustin tries again but Comoroto BOOTS him! Comoroto runs in, but Dustin FLAPJACKS him onto the bare buckle! And then another COWBELL SHOT!! Dustin goes up top, FLYING BULLDOG!! Hogtie cover, Dustin wins!!

Winner: Dustin Rhodes, by pinfall

The Natural managed to defeat one hell of a monster, but the war of Nightmare Family and Factory is just getting hotter! Dustin celebrates with fans, will he and the rest of his team be celebrating more victories over QT and his cohorts?

My Thoughts:

Another awesome AEW, but it seems like June is going to have Dynamite on every night other than Wednesday. Another Friday next week, then Saturday on the 26th to close out the month. I suppose the 16th might be the only Wednesday, but even that could change and put it on Thursday or something. And unless I misheard it at Double or Nothing, did they move Omega VS Jungle Boy? I suppose it works out, JB can get a ton of momentum going into Saturday Night Dynamite, even though Omega is surely retaining. JB & Christian VS Private Party was great stuff, but while JB wins it, I should’ve known Hardy would get the last word on Christian. Those two could have a great match together as Christian clearly moves away from Team Taz while Ricky Starks is still hurt.

Speaking of which, Team Taz of course wants to continue things against Hangman Page, and I like that they’re incorporating The Dark Order into it. Vance is a great choice since he matches up in size, but I have a feeling Vance takes the loss for the team. Hangman VS Cage tiebreaker is coming, and again, I hope the FTW Championship is on the line. Miro VS Uno will be good but probably not a very long match. Miro is going to hold that belt for a long time, I’m sure of it. Depending on who is where and doing what, I don’t see Miro losing until at least Revolution 2022, where either Archer wins on third time’s the charm, or Darby makes a heroic return for this title.

Opening with the Bucks VS Death Triangle was great, and it was a great detail for Frankie Kazarian to get after The Elite again. Turns out, Kaz attacked the wrong crony since it was Cutler who helped the Bucks screw over Pac & Penta. But it was great for Eddie Kingston to show up. With Moxley taking time off for family, and Fenix taken out for story drama, it makes sense for Kingston to make an alliance with Penta and Pac. Their Six Man with Bucks & Cutler will be great stuff, but between cheating and dysfunction, Kingston, Pac & Penta will lose. But again, “enemy of my enemy is my friend” should apply to Kaz, he can join in and we’ll get a huge match of The Elite VS Elite’s enemies.

Cody & Johnson VS QT & Ogogo was really good, but of course this was for the Factory to get back on the board. There is still a lot of pacing stuff that has been weird with this. QT’s bragging promo really should’ve been after The Factory helped him cheat to win a 1v1 match with Cody. And that would’ve still come after a match like we got in tonight’s main event. Dustin VS Comoroto was a very fast but a really good bullrope match. If this was earlier in the night as a main event, had more time to breathe, it would’ve been even better because of the drama and the tension being dragged out so it could sink it. Dustin wins, of course, and I still think we need Dustin VS QT in a grudge match. We should’ve gotten that and QT VS Johnson long before QT VS Cody, but Cody’s gotta get the spotlight.

Mark Henry had a good promo, though it did get cut short by Vickie. But wow, Andrade “El Idolo” Almas in AEW! I hope they find a way to tie in the scheduled AAA Mega Championship match between Andrade and Omega in August as it draws closer. If AEW is going to do crossovers with other companies, now’s the time to make it more than just guest appearances. Omega himself should get into a story where he’s torn between all the companies he’s a champion in. While Omega VS Moose for the Impact World Championship is next week and Omega VS JB for the AEW World Championship is the 26th, there could be even more going on in August with All Out, Omega VS Andrade and whatever Impact will have by then. Omega might be cocky now but I hope he “feels the stress” before the end.

The Inner Circle had a POWERFUL promo tonight, and them giving away those shirts was awesome, both kayfabe and shoot. And given that the series is tied 1-1 in big faction matches, I like that things are breaking off into the separate feuds. Which is oddly backwards, but it’ll definitely help fill out Dynamites and other specials. I’m most interested in Hager VS Wardlow in an AEW take on MMA. Velvet VS Bunny was very good, and it’s great for Velvet to win to stay in the top 5. Like I said for Dark and Elevation earlier in the week, if AEW made “on the bubble” matches matter a bit more, it’d add some drama to matches like this one. I guess they just expect us to feel it, but not everyone is going to keep up with the rankings on their own.

Britt Baker’s celebration went almost how I hoped. Nyla being present to start was interesting, but I like that she comes off the comparative Face simply by throwing burgers and popping balloons. More of the top 5, like Thunder Rosa, Tay Conti and now Leyla Hirsch, showing up would’ve been a nice touch, too, but Nyla doing this to step up clearly sets up a Fyter Fest title match for her and Britt. As I’ve also said for Dark and Elevation, Britt should defend against everyone but Rosa until she just can’t deny Rosa any longer, and we get a huge match for them at whatever PPV AEW wants it to be.

My Score: 9.2/10

The Death Riders speak.

It was after AEW Dynamite on Wednesday that Jon Moxley said, “Every time I step into the ring with Kyle O’Reilly, I can’t find a way to win. It’s been failure after failure after failure. Kyle O’Reilly has tapped me out, twice. Ipso facto, Kyle O’Reilly will be the new Continental Champion. You might think. But the Jon Moxley of six months ago is not the same as Jon Moxley of today. Who I will be tomorrow is better than who I am today. Logic and strategy would dictate that I should stay as far away from Kyle O’Reilly as I can. Because there’s no doubt about it, Kyle, you have my number.

The thing about this Continental Championship, it’s good bait. All the dragons I wanna slay come right to my door. I will do what I’ve done for 22 years surviving in this business, Kyle: I’m gonna find a way.” The Maniac heads out, and Claudio Castagnoli steps forward to tell Brody King that Brody always brings the bark. But if he steps in the ring with Claudio in the Owen Hart Tournament, he better bring the bite. Pac then says, “Nobody gets special treatment. It doesn’t matter who you are, Death Riders against the world.” Daniel Garcia says yeah, let’s get it! Yuta repeats, “Against the world.” Marina Shafir tells the world, “Bring it, you p*ssies!”

AEW World Trios Championship Eliminator: The Conglomeration VS Lee Moriarty & The Infantry w/ Shane Taylor Promotions!

Well speaking of Kyle O’Reilly, he, Orange Cassidy, and the returning Mark Briscoe are going to put STP to the test! #TAIGASTYLE is still ROH Pure Champion, but Shawn Dean & Carlie Bravo are upset after losing the ROH World Six Man Tag titles. Will STP take out their frustrations as they rumble, bad man, rumble? Or will the Violent Artist, Freshly Squeezed & Sussex County Chicken simply send #THEM home emptyhanded?

The trios sort out and Briscoe steps up against #BadNews&Tattoos. The fans are behind Briscoe as he and Bravo circle. They approach, Bravo kicks low, and he flips everyone off. The fans boo, Bravo headlocks, but Briscoe powers up, out, and headlocks in return. Bravo powers up and out but Briscoe RUNS him over! The fans cheer, and Briscoe runs. Bravo drops down, hurdles, but Briscoe hits a crane stance! Bravo says that’s stupid! But Briscoe ducks Bravo’s punch to UPPERCUT! Briscoe whips, Bravo reverses to ROCK Briscoe! Briscoe & Cassidy intercept Dean & Bravo, fire off hands in corners, and Kyle shifts to an ANKLE LOCK! But Lee reels Kyle into a headlock.

The fans cheer Cassidy while Lee stumbles. Lee tags Dean, and now The Captain steps to Cassidy. Dean says go ahead, put the hands in the pockets. Cassidy says okay, and he raises his hands, to then slowly, slowly, put them in his pockets!

The fans cheer as Cassidy then ducks ‘n’ dodges Dean, and still arm-drags Dean away! Dean runs up, Cassidy drops down to MONKEY FLIP! Then Cassidy kips up! Cassidy tries again, but the CARLIE CROSSOVER hits, then a feed to the SLINGSHOT SPEAR! Lee drags Cassidy to the apron, the ref is still distracted, Shane Taylor hits a GUILLOTINE LEG DROP! The fans boo but STP has taken control while Collision goes to picture in picture!

Lee drags Cassidy up, puts him in the ring, and Dean covers, TWO! Dean drags Cassidy up, whips him to ropes, then BODY BLOWS! Cassidy falls in a heap but Dean soaks up heat. Dean stomps Cassidy, drags him up, then bumps him off buckles. Dean tags Bravo to send him in for the SPLASH! Dean adds a SPLASH, then scoops while Bravo goes up, KNEE DROP SIDEWALK SLAM COMBO! Cover, Briscoe breaks it! Bravo is upset, but he CLUBS Cassidy. Cassidy fights the suplex, Bravo CLUBS him again and again, then suplexes through! Cover, TWO! Cassidy toughs it out but Bravo drags Cassidy over to the corner.

Dean tags in, The Infantry stomps away on Cassidy, but the ref counts. Dean stops to kneel on Cassidy, then steps off again. Cassidy throws “shots” on the leg, but Dean stomps Cassidy down! Dean then BLASTS Briscoe & Kyle! The ref reprimands but that just lets Bravo CHOKE Cassidy! The ref reprimands Bravo now as Collision returns to single picture. Dean asks, “Is this camera on me? B! B! C!” BRONCO BUSTER CAPTAIN! Dean bounces, Bravo says if you see Cap in that corner, yo’ ass is a goner! Dean drags Cassidy up, tags Bravo, and Dean sends Bravo in for the SPLASH! But that’s not all! Dean staggers into the kick, the underhooks, and JAY DRILLER!! Cover, Conglomeration wins!

Winners: The Conglomeration, by pinfall (denies Shane Taylor Promotions a title opportunity)

When it rains, it pours for STP! Will they just have to regroup and refocus taking over ROH? Will The Conglomeration continue to #ManUp here in AEW?

Will Ospreay speaks.

It was also after Dynamite that The Aerial Assassin told Samoa Joe, “My apologies for not getting back to any of your messages, been a little bit busy training and getting myself ready for The Owen. Surprised to see you there in the opening round, mate. It’s gonna be a tough one. But if you can just bear with me for a hot second while I explain to you… Six months of my life got taken away from me, mate. Six months, I’ve been sitting in front of a TV screen, watching AEW, looking at it, trying to get my strength back in my arms, rushing to get back. That’s six months of frustration, six months of anger. And then I finally had my kill shot on Dynasty, and I lost.

“And ever since then, man, I’ve been struggling with my matches. Doc even stopped one for my own safety. I’m annoyed that I didn’t get revenge on Jon. But I’m more upset at the idea that I can’t be the guy that AEW put their trust in once upon a time. Regardless of how I feel about Jon, regardless of how I feel about The Death Riders, there’s nothing that I can say that’ll make people ever understand. But Jon Moxley is the Ace, he’s a soldier for this place. And while his methods might be sick, there are people who stand up to see him get elevated. So what could it happen with him in my corner?

“Joe, I’ve got nothing but respect for ya. Everything that you’ve done in this industry. Mate, you were in the match that made me want to become a pro-wrestler. But no one, no one, is stopping me from winning The Owen. And I find it very poetic that the man takt took away my old life has given me a second chance of capturing the world championship.” The Billy Goat is ready to become something more, but will Samoa Joe make sure Ospreay goes Double or Nothing and loses?

Backstage interview with The Conglomeration.

Lexy Nair congratulates them on their win tonight, and brings up that Moxley has accepted Kyle’s challenge. Kyle says yes, Moxley is right, Kyle has his number. But facing Moxley has been the biggest test of Kyle’s career, so what’s one more test? This Wednesday, it’s a title eliminator, and after Kyle makes Moxley submit again, he is putting all his chips in and goes Double or Nothing! Briscoe says damn right, Kyle. And speaking of Dynamite, Tommaso Ciampa, Briscoe put it plain and clear, but he hasn’t heard a word from Ciampa! If Ciampa’s scared, he should just say it! Cassidy says Willow needs to say something.

Willow says sure, okay. Great job, guys, really. But for her, Double or Nothing, it will be TRIPLE or nothing, because she has THIS bad boy, the TBS Championship! But she’s also coming for The Owen, and the World Championship! As for tonight, Red Velvet may have beaten Willow to qualify for The Owen, but that won’t happen tonight. Welcome back to AEW, time to meet the Comeback Killer. Lexy says by the way, that match is next. Willow fires up, hurries off to make her entrance, but will she be ready to cook with The Chef?

AEW TBS Championship: Willow Nightingale VS Red Velvet!

Before making her entrance, the ROH Women’s World TV Champion tells Willow, “The Comeback Killer,” that she’s still salty that Willow is in The Owen and Velvet is not. Tonight, she takes out all her frustrations every time she stirs it up and punches Willow in the face. Yeah, Velvet beat Willow before. And in fact, she’ll beat Willow for that TBS title right now!

The introductions are made, the teal belt is raised, and we see if The Babe with The Power is still the Face of TBS!

The bell rings and the fans rally as the two circle. They tie up, Willow powers Velvet to a corner, and the ref counts. Willow backs off, and she flexes as she fires the fans up. The two reset, tie up, and Willow SHOVES Velvet away. Velvet is frustrated as she comes back and resets with Willow again. Velvet then slips around Willow, waistlocks, but Willow wrenches out. Willow says okay, okay, and she resets with Velvet. The fans rally behind Willow as she offers a handshake. Velvet accepts, but then arm- NO! Willow stops the arm-drag, and the next one, then whips Velvet to RUN her over! Willow fires up, the fans cheer, and things keep moving. Velvet runs up to CALF KICK! Willow flounders to a corner and Velvet storms up on her. Velvet fires body shots, then stomps Willow down. The ref counts but Velvet does the splits as she digs her boot in! The fans are torn but Willow pushes the foot away. Velvet runs back up, but Willow dodges to LARIAT again and again! The fans count all the way to TEN!

Willow short arm- NO, Velvet ducks the shot, but Willow ELBOWS her! Willow fireman’s carries, Velvet sunset flips, but Velvet avoids the hip drop! Ghost pin, TWO! Willow FISHERMAN SUPLEXES! A deep bridge, TWO! Not quite perfect but Willow shrugs that off. Willow runs, but Velvet avoids the senton! Velvet hurries to STANDING MOONSAULT! Cover, TWO! Velvet snarls while Willow bails out. Velvet pursues, runs up, and ROCKS Willow! Velvet DOUBLE CHOPS Willow, then CLUBS away on Willow! Velvet reels Willow in, talks trash on the fans, but Willow suplexes instead! Willow stalls then SLAMS Velvet on the floor!

The fans cheer as Willow flexes and high-fives, and Collision goes picture in picture.

Willow pushes Velvet down to SENTON! Cover, TWO! Velvet toughs it out but Willow stirs it up. Willow stands Velvet up to CHOP, Velvet CHOPS back, but Willow ROCKS her! Fireman’s carry, AIRPLANE SPIN! Willow goes around and around, then back the other way! Willow then SAMOAN DROPS! Willow says that’s how you stir it up! Cover, TWO! Velvet survives but Willow reels her into a KOJI KLUTCH! Velvet endures, even as Willow puts on the pressure, and Collision goes to break!

Collision returns as Willow has Velvet in a corner. Willow runs corner to corner, but Velvet slips to the outside! Willow ROCKS Velvet first, then goes outside to fireman’s carry! But Velvet fights free! Velvet ROCKS Willow, Willow ROCKS Velvet, and Velvet sits down! Willow fires the fans up, then lines up her shot. Velvet stands up, Willow runs, but Velvet dodges! Cannonball crashes ‘n’ burns!! Willow writhes and clutches her back, but she’s somehow still in this! A ring count starts, Velvet rolls in before 3, but Willow rises up at 5. Willow hobbles her way over, rolls into the ring, but Velvet SUPERKICKS her down! Cover, TWO!

Backstage interview with Sammy Guevara.

Lexy Nair is with The Spanish God and brings up how he called out Darby Allin just last night at Supercard of Honor for the AEW World Championship. But just like last night, Sammy hushes “Chica” Lexy, and says, “Everybody’s Favorite Pillar is about to talk, so zip it and listen. Darby, I don’t need to call my shot against you because I looked through the history books, and history’s on my side. I’ve beaten you not once, not twice, not three times, I’ve beaten you four times. When I look at the history books, I’m a three-time TNT Champion while you, you’ve only held that belt twice.

“So I’m gonna beat you tonight like I’ve beaten you before. I’m gonna stamp my ticket to Double or Nothing, and MJF, I know you’re watching, you sociopath. I’m gonna beat you next week and I’m gonna shave you BALD! But don’t worry, I’ll give you a nice little fade. Because I am the best! I am the best wrestler, I am the best talker, I am the best this planet has! I’m the Spanish God, dammit! I’m number one, I’ve been here since day one, and there’s only one way this is gonna go: With me as the NEW AEW World Champion! Darby, your time is up, and my time is now. Because I am Numero Uno. That means ‘number one.'”

Sammy heads out, but is his big head only going to get in the way tonight?

Backstage interview with Darby Allin.

Collision returns and Lexy is now with said AEW World Champion. She brings up the five title defenses in 21 days, an AEW record! But tonight is number six against someone Darby’s known for a long time in Sammy Guevara. Darby says when he showed up today, he asked if anyone had seen MJF yet. Then he thought, “What a stupid question. Of course he’s not gonna be at Collision.” MJF is not a company man, he only cares about himself. And those same people asked back, why is Darby back? Why is Darby defending his title again? Double or Nothing is next Sunday, why is Darby risking losing this? Because Darby loves this!

And if there’s anyone in this company as crazy as Darby, it is Sammy Guevara. Darby loves it! Darby realizes this could all end tonight, and Speedball wants his match on Wednesday? Well, if Darby walks out here tonight, then on Dynamite, it’s Showtime! Darby thanks Lexy then heads back out. Will the Relentless Reign be an unstoppable one? Or is this one Collision Darby will not walk away from?

The Psycho Killer may have just stepped into it! Will there be nothing stopping Briscoe from doing anything he wants to Ciampa?

But I have found solace and clarity in the fact that i Have found a group of men, The Opps, that understand everything I do for this business, everything I do for AEW, and everything I do for you!” The fans cheer, and Bowens continues by saying everywhere he goes, he represents the fans, because he is the Pride of Pro-Wrestling! He is your hero! And to be honest, for everything that he does, he deserves a standing ovation! Joe certainly applauds, and the fans here in Salisbury join in!

Bowens says if you’re asking what this change of attitude is about… This man, Samoa Joe, has been teaching Bowens all he needs to know: choices have consequences; and if you don’t like the way the table is set, you flip that table over and you choose violence! The fans cheer, and now Joe speaks on the mic. “Oh, Ospreaaaay~…! Do you understand what I do for my friends? But unfortunately, decisions have consequences, and you chose a different road, Will. So allow me to say this: I am truly beyond honored that you consider facing me a dream match.” The fans cheer that, but Joe says it’s just unfortunate that when he gets Ospreay in the ring, “it’ll be nothing but a nightmare.”

Joe & Bowens have made it clear that no matter who, no matter where, and no matter what, The Opps will not show mercy. Will nothing stop The Opps from taking it all here in AEW?

Backstage interview with #Brodido.

Lexy Nair is with Brody King & Bandido, and wants to talk the Owen Hart Tournament. Brody is set to face Claudio while Bandido is up against Swerve Strickland. Now, if they both win their matches, that pits them against teach other in the semifinals. But what they also needs to talk about is last night, Supercard of Honor, Bandido retained the title, only for Swerve to attack. Brody tells Swerve that he warned him about what would happen if Swerve messed with the people Brody cared about! Next time Brody sees Swerve, he’ll- Bandido stops Brody there, and says no, no, hermano. Bandido loves you, but this is Bandido’s battle, and Brody needs to respect that.

So Bandido tells Swerve that this is a battle Swerve will not win! Swerve may be the Most Dangerous, but Bandido is the Most Wanted! And after Double or Nothing when Bandido beats Swerve, Swerve won’t be a danger to anyone anymore! Both sides of Brodido have spoken, but will either of them knock down Swerve’s House? Or will Swerve’s thirst for power be satiated with the Owen Hart Cup?

Megan Bayne & Lena Kross established just how dominant they are in the first 5 Minute Challenge last week, yet it seems two more poor souls want to test their might. Will Allie & Kaia at least last longer than the previous team? Or will The Megasus & Aussie Amazon score the fatality?

It was only one minute and 50 seconds this time, they’re only getting stronger! Will no duo ever remove Megan & Lena from the mountaintop?

AEW hears from the four fighting for the AEW Women’s World Championship.

Kris Statlander says, “At Double or Nothing, I face three women, one who I hate, one who I respect, and one who I’m still not sure about.” The hated one, Thekla, says there’s only one way this ends when she’s up against dumb b*tch after dumb b*tch after dumb b*tch. The respected one, Jamie Hayter, says she had the title stripped away from her and it’s eluded her ever since. And the uncertainty, Hikaru Shida, says even though it is every one for themselves, she knows she and Kris will be on the same page, just like always! Kris says y’know who really has her back? Kris herself! That’s all she needs! Jamie warns Thekla that she’s gonna find out, unfinished business is her favorite kind!

Thekla says Double or Nothing, the Toxic Spider destroys New York! A Fatal 4 Way of epic proportions await, will there be nothing left after the dust clears?

Backstage interview with Athena and Mina Shirakawa.

Lexy Nair is with the ROH Women’s World Champion and the Fighting Gravure Idol, and thanks them for accepting the No Physicality Agreement. They are on a collision course in the opening round of the Owen Hart Tournament, this has gotta be a tough one. Athena says maybe, maybe not, but the facts are this: Athena has been the ROH Women’s World Champion for over 1252 DAYS, and has left of dozens of bodies in her wake. Pretty sure Mina’s one of them. Mina says last year at All In, Athena broke Mina’s hand. Athena says so what! Last year at Death Before Dishonor, she kicked Mina’s ass all over the arena! Why does Mina think this match will be any different?

Mina laughs and says last night at Supercard, when she locked in the Figure Four on her opponent, she dreamt it was Athena. Athena says Mina is dreaming of her! So flattered! But she hopes Mina has the best dream tonight: Mina’s dead body in a ditch, next to her precious Toni Storm! Mina tells Athena that Mina has dreamt of winning The Owen and the AEW Women’s World title, while ending Athena! She can’t dream anymore, because now she will live it! Athena says sure, sure. They argue, but Lexy keeps them from getting physical! Will the Fallen Goddess be unstoppable even in AEW? Or will The Owen will be about #MinaNow?

Backstage interview with Lio Rush.

Nigel McGuinness tracked down The Problem Child, and walks over. Lio says hey, Nigel! Good to see you! He saw Nigel put in that work last night, he did great. He did really good. Nigel appreciates that, that’s what he wants to talk about. Specifically, what happened between Lio and his former tag team partner, Action Andretti. Action cost Lio the ROH World TV Championship, what is Lio’s response? Lio says it’s all fine! It’s fine! These things happen, Nigel. Losses happen, friends get upset. It’s fine. It’s fine. Lio keeps saying that, and Nigel says that is the official response. Lio again says it’s good to see Nigel.

But then Lio takes off his sunglasses to show off those creepy eyes. He smiles, and that black goo drools out… Lio continues to say it’s fine, but is it anything but fine? Or should Action learn to sleep with one eye open?

Six Man Tag: Mark Davis & The Dogs VS The Rascalz!

Before they team up for Stadium Stampede, the AEW National Champion teams with David Finlay & Clark Connors to test their chemistry. Will Dunkzilla, The Rebel & 100 Proof sink their teeth into Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz & Myron Reed? Or will The Rascalz light ’em up and smoke ’em in Salisbury?

Renee Paquette is there to bring up tonight’s main event is Darby Allin VS Konosuke Takeshita for the AEW World Championship. If Darby Allin wins, MJF will then have to sign a contract for Title VS Hair at Double or Nothing. Darby has made it clear that if MJF doesn’t sign said contract, Darby will never allow MJF to face him for the title again. We all know how important the title is for MJF, but is MJF willing to put his hair on the line for it? MJF just chuckles and moves on, but he notices the very bald Rick Knox, Bryce Remsburg, and the head of security, David Aponte. And then various bald members of the production staff…

And then even Christopher Daniels & Sonjay Dutt are there! Daniels and Sonjay chuckle before moving on, and then MJF sees John Silver flexing. Brandon Cutler, some arena staff, and even Tommaso Ciampa, all bald. Then last but certainly not least, Ricochet! He tells MJF that don’t worry, he’ll look great. Just not as good as Ricochet. AHA~! MJF storms off, will he have no choice but to choose between gold belt and chrome dome?

10 Man Tag: Orange Cassidy, Adam Copeland, Christian Cage & The Young Bucks VS Tommaso Ciampa, David Finlay, Clark Connors & FTR w/ Stokely Hathaway!

While we know the AEW World Tag Team Championship match will be a conglomeration of I Quit Match and New York Street Fight, THE Conglomeration will be waiting on the other side for their own tag title match. And let’s not forget that Matt & Nick Jackson want their own shot at those titles again. With that, can Freshly Squeezed work together with C&C and The Bucks? Another star-studded 10 Man Tag, and it was a huge win for all the hungry contenders. Christian doesn’t wanna celebrate, but he does signal that he and Cope will be champions. Will putting their tag team legacy on the line be enough to take the gold? Or will Double or Nothing be the last night that team reeks of awesomeness?

Will Ospreay continues to train with The Death Riders.

They’re outside this time, Claudio Castagnoli playing some wall ball with Marina Shafir and Pac. Daniel Garcia says, “Tonight is the night that we’ve all been waiting for: The Aerial Assassin, Will Ospreay, is cleared and back on Dynamite. And rumor has it, the kid’s been working real hard and he’s got some new tricks up his sleeves. So Young Boy Billy, tonight you gotta show me something, c’mon.” Garcia gets a quick turn in on wall ball while cameras move over. Ospreay is maintaining a neck bridge while Jon Moxley uses Wheeler Yuta as a living dummy to show just how to push and pull and bend and twist on the various chinlocks and headlocks.

Use the right arm to push against the head, then snake in the left arm for the sleeper. Pry and shoot. Moxley asks how Ospreay feels. Ospreay lets off the bridge and says honestly, the best he’s felt in forever. Moxley asks if Ospreay remembers the night he won the Best of the Super Juniors. Yeah, 2019. AKA a lifetime ago. Ospreay was carefree, flew like a bird, for no other reason than that’s just what birds do. So simple back then, chasing that feeling, like no other feeling in the world. Can’t really grab it in your hands for more than a few seconds. The joy of doing it. Then everybody comes in and tries to make it so overcomplicated.

Years pass, life happens, a family starts, responsibilities show up, bad things happen, bad choices catch up to you, and it’s all weight on your shoulders. You feel like you can’t fly. But Moxley will tell you something: Nothing is different. Nothing has changed. All those things are still gonna be there, but you can still fly. You’re just more dangerous now. You’re a bird of prey. So tonight, when you got out there, don’t go out there to protect anything. Not your neck, your image, your reputation, or what you’ve built in your career. Go out there to give something. Moxley checks on Yuta and says dammit, if you’re gonna snap a headlock, snap the headlock!

Moxley storms off to instruct his pupil, but will Ospreay use everything he has been taught to great effect? Or will he have to fold against Ace Austin?

Chris Jericho speaks.

“You wanna face Jericho in a match of my own design, Ricochet? A spectacle so innovative, so imaginative, it cannot be contained, it can only be witnessed. Well, be careful what you demand, because you’ve made a few enemies yourself, Ricochet. And now a match designed specifically to settle scores without any, and I mean AAANY~, limitations has gotten even bigger.” Chris Jericho & The Hurt Syndicate were just looking for two more, but “Jungle” Jack Perry said he can bring four: himself, The Young Bucks, and KENNY OMEGA! Jericho tells Ricochet that this is no longer what he designed, but it is a devil’s dance of destruction! Ricochet’s destruction!

Ricochet got what he wanted, now can he handle it? Bald. The first-ever SEVEN VS SEVEN Stadium Stampede, who will even survive?

Ricochet & The Demand respond.

They stand with Mark Davis of the Don Callis Family and Ricochet says we all know Jericho does a lot of talking out of his ass while The Demand gets things done. Just like Davis did when he defeated Jack for the AEW National Championship at Fairway to Hell. Hold it with pride, Davis, Ricochet knows you’ll do it well. Davis says he’s got this. Ricochet says Davis has joined the dream team, but he’s not the only one. Because compliments to Ricochet’s golfing buddy, Don Callis, look who else he’s sending: Andrade El Idolo! Gracias, amigo. But it doesn’t stop there, the train keeps rolling. Ricochet was just approached by two guys who have an ax to grind with the superkick sidekicks.

These two wanna fill out the last two spots, so who is Ricochet to say no to The Dogs? Finlay & Connors storm in, and Finlay says to put it simple, they will fight The Bucks in the streets, in the ring, but guess it’s fighting at Double or Nothing! If they want violence, if they want carnage, if they want chaos, who better than The Dogs?! The Dogs bark and Liona roars, but will these seven stand tall in the Big Apple?

“Speedball” Mike Bailey w/ Kevin Knight VS BK Westbrook!

JetSpeed has a lot of momentum on their side, and as stated last week at Fairway to Hell, they’re looking to grab up all the gold they can. Will Speedball keep on rolling towards his own golden opportunity? Or will #Supastud prove his own worth?

The bell rings and the fans rally as the two step up. Bailey bows in respect, offers a handshake, but Westbrook goes to roll Bailey up! Bailey stays on his feet, then steps over to sit down on a cover, TWO! Westbrook ducks a Penalty Kick, avoids the moonsault, and the sweep! Bailey dodges, Westbrook tiger feints through the ropes, but Bailey handsprings up and over! The fans fire up as Bailey ducks an elbow to whip. Westbrook goes up, around, but kinda fumbles his tumble. The fans cheer and jeer him for his attempt, but Westbrook blocks the boot! Westbrook FLIPS Bailey, springboards in, but Bailey dodges! TIME ADVENTURE!

Bailey pushes Westbrook down, goes up the corner, and the fans fire up for the ULTIMATE WEAPON! Cover, Bailey wins!

The Machine was out for 14 months and yet no ring rust to be found! However, The Jet is just #2Fly2Stop! Bailey brings mics into the ring to say, “Congratulations to The Jet on a hell of a win!” Knight says much appreciated. But like he said, they’re red hot right now! And Brian Cage, welcome back! Cage took Knight to his limits, but The Jet is still standing as TNT Champion. But Knight can’t get over how last week, he couldn’t get the job done becoming #Jet2Belts. Bailey says forget last week. AEW reveals the Men’s Owen Hart Memorial Tournament Brackets!

This year’s tournaments will go through Double or Nothing, and the finals will coincide with Forbidden Door 2026 on Sunday, June 28th in San Jose, California! The winner of each tournament will then challenge for THE AEW World Championship and AEW Women’s World Championships on August 30th at All In: London! “Jungle” Jack Perry speaks.

“Mark Davis… I’m sure you feel some congratulations are in order. But you’re not champion to me. You see, you’re built like an Australia grizzly bear, yet you still needed somebody to hit me in the back with a golf club for you to beat me. At Stadium Stampede, bring your friends, bring any weapon you want, and I will crack you over the skull with it. Because anything goes. But after that, it’s back to grass roots, because it is you and me, fighting for a shot at the world title at All In: London. And in the Owen Hart Tournament, I will prove to you beyond a shadow of a doubt that I’m a better wrestler than you. I am the FUTURE world champion!

“And if you don’t like that, F YOU!” Jungle Jack is sharpening his knife, but will his edge be razor sharp when it comes time to cut down Dunkzilla?

Ace shoots through to waistlock but Ospreay switches. Ospreay hits the headlock takeover, Ace headscissors, but Ospreay kips free.

The fans cheer the standoff, and the two reset. They feel things out, knuckle lock, and go shoulder to shoulder in a Test of Strength. The fans rally as Ace pushes Ospreay back. Ace has Ospreay down for a knuckle lock cover, ONE as Ospreay gets his arm up. Ace pushes it down, cover, ONE as Ospreay gets the other arm up. Ace tries again, ONE as Ospreay bridges! Ace jumps up, but Ospreay holds the bridge! That training truly pays off! Ace jumps, Ospreay gets him for a MONKEY FLIP! The fans fire up as Ospreay then arm-drags! Ace TAPS, Ospreay wins!!

Winner: Will Ospreay, by submission

That might’ve been Ospreay’s first win by submission ever! He signals that his neck is no longer a problem, and he shows Ace respect for that fight. Ace accepts the handshake again, and Ospreay is moving on towards Double or Nothing with a great amount of momentum. But wait! SAMOA JOE is here! He and The Opps walk out on stage, and with mic in hand, Joe says, “Ospreay, Ospreay… OSPREAY, OSPREAY!” Joe is clearly mocking the chants for Ospreay, and the fans give genuine chanting and even singing in return. Joe says he just wanted to make sure Ospreay was listening, because these past few weeks, it seemed like Ospreay had a hard time hearing him.

Despite Ospreay’s best efforts, fate has put them on a collision course in the opening round of the Owen Hart Cup. The fans like the sound of that! Joe say she is here for one reason and one reason alone. He wants to speak about choices and consequences. Ospreay could’ve made the right choice and get a bye in this tournament, because that is what Joe would do for one of his friends. But Ospreay chose poorly. He could’ve been with the team that would do nothing but support and enhance Ospreay, but he decided to be a lapdog for Moxley and the Death Riders. The fans boo, Ospreay says he’s not a Death Rider.

Joe says Ospreay has made his choice, and come Double or Nothing, Joe makes Ospreay suffer the consequences. But Joe leaves Ospreay in peace tonight, for he has his date with destiny. But unfortunately, Joe’s friends, Katsuyori Shibata & Anthony Bowens, still feel slighted, and he doesn’t put leashes on his friends. Shibata & Bowens storm down the ramp, Ospreay ready to fight them both if he has to. But then The Death Riders appear! Ospreay may not have officially joined the club, but the Death Riders aren’t going to let their investment go to waste! The Opps say they’re #NeverLacking, but that doesn’t seem to be the case now!

Shibata & Bowens back down while Moxley, Marina, Claudio, Yuta, Garcia & Pac all step up to support Ospreay. Joe says, “Soon. Soon.” The fans cheer the Death Riders, or at least Moxley, but Bowens promises Joe is gonna kill you, Ospreay! The dream match for Double or Nothing is on, but will the training with The Death Riders make Ospreay the new King of Harts?

BREAKING NEWS for next week!

If you liked last week’s THREE HOUR block of AEW, then you’ll love this next one! Portland, Maine, the last Wednesday before Double or Nothing, Dynamite & Collision are combining forces again! Three hours all on TBS and HBO Max, make sure your DVR is set accordingly!

Backstage interview with Don Callis & Konosuke Takeshita.

Renee is now with The Invisible Hand & The Alpha, saying tonight is a huge opportunity in the main event, Konosuke facing Darby Allin for THE AEW World Championship. Konosuke could be heading into Double or Nothing as a- Callis stops Renee there to say Konosuke will be heading into Double or Nothing as a DOUBLE champion! But then MJF steps in, apologizes for the interruption but says Renee’s doing a great job. The Scumbag tells Konosuke that while it’s been a minute since the two of them have talked, three years actually, back when MJF beat him… MJF has seen Konosuke develop into truly one of the best wrestlers in the world!

MJF believes that tonight, Konosuke beats Darby for the title, goes to DON to beat Okada, and MJF can’t think of a better match than Konosuke VS MJF Part 2 for the world title. How’s that sound? MJF offers a handshake, Konosuke shakes his hand, but in Japanese, Konosuke tells MJF that he’ll beat the crap out of him. Thankfully, MJF doesn’t know Japanese. Callis says that was a nice pep talk MJF just gave, and MJF says yes, he knows. That kid needs to win, okay? MJF can’t let Darby turn him into some disgusting, bald freak! No offense, Callis looks great. But look, there is only one foolproof way to know MJF won’t be put in that situation.

So if things get hairy… MJF hands over the Dynamite Diamond Ring! Callis smiles, and say she understands what to do with it. But then in steps Andrade. El Idolo takes off his hat to shake out his amazing head of hair, and smiles at MJF. MJF frowns and leaves. Callis says here’s the deal: Takeshita will bring the world title home to the Don Callis Family tonight! Andrade asks, “How you know?” Callis says aye dios mio, he seriously doesn’t know where Andrade learned English. Andrade says one way or another, the next time, that will be HIS title. Callis says yes, he knows, it’s all good. Callis is a man of many talents, but will his family be dripping with gold thanks to a diamond ring?

AEW now announces the Women’s Owen Hart Memorial Tournament brackets!

Double or Nothing will see Willow Nightingale, the reigning Queen of Harts, take on Alex Windsor, while we will see Persephone VS Hazuki, Skye Blue vs Sareee, and Mina Shirakawa VS Athena! Champions from around the world are gathering for this tournament, but who will be headed to Forbidden Door, and then All In: London?

Backstage interview with The Conglomeration.

Renee Paquette is now with Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong, and Willow Nightingale. Renee commends Cassidy on his part in the 10 Man Tag victory. But it seems that there is even more business to attend to. Cassidy says yes, the team has a shot at THE AEW World Tag Team Championships. It doesn’t matter who it is, they’re getting their shot, but the thing is… They still haven’t decided on which two will be. Kyle says Cassidy & Roddy should go for the gold, but Roddy shouts, “KYYYLE~! Thank you.” Kyle says of course. But that’s cuz he’s got gold to chase for himself!

The same man that put Kyle on the shelf for months is the man that Kyle submitted twice, and will submit again. Jon Moxley, Continental Champion, when are we doing this? Willow says speaking of gold, she is still the TBS Champion. But she is also in the Owen Hart Cup. She won this tournament before, she’ll do it all over again, so that she can have all the gold for herself at All In: London. She knows she can, and she will! Then Conglomeration has it all in order? Cassidy says hold on, there’s something missing. They should do a Word of the Day. Why haven’t they done one in so long? Roddy shouts for “MAAARK~!” And yes, Mark Briscoe returns!

The Sussex County Chicken is all fired up, and he says the Word of the day is reunification! For Mark Briscoe is back with his boys and his girls, The Conglomeration! But he’ll put this plain and simple: Tommaso Ciampa! Next Wednesday, Briscoe’s after your ass, son! You hear him? But before that, Saturday Night Collision is in HIS hometown, Salisbury, Maryland! That’s just 4.4 miles from where Briscoe originated on this earth! They’re gonna conglomerate and it’s gonna be a a hell of a time! Are you ready!? Willow and Kyle are fired up, Briscoe goes wild, and the team heads out. Cassidy admits, that was a lot of yelling.

But while The Conglomeration is ready to go Double or Nothing, will they soon have even more gold in the collection? Or are these high and lofty a little too much even for them?

Six Woman Tag: Hikaru Shida & The Brawling Birds VS The Triangle of Madness!

With the news of both the AEW Women’s World Championship Fatal 4 Way for Double or Nothing, and the Owen Hart Cup brackets, this trios match is about much more than just settling scores! Will the Shining Samurai be just as sharp as Jamie Hayter going into that title match? Or will Thekla, Skye Blue & Julia Hart continue to bring them down by any means necessary?

The trios sort out and Jamie steps up against Thekla as both a rematch from their 1v1 title match, and a preview of what’s to come in the next. They circle, but then Skye CLOBBERS Jamie! Julia steps in, but so do Shida and Windsor! The Triangle throws hands on Shida & The Birds, then triple whip. But all three reverse, a BOOT for Thekla, a DDT for Skye, and a BACKBREAKER for Julia! The fans cheer as The Triangle bails out! Shida goes out to keep after Skye while Windsor goes after Julia. Jamie gets Thekla back in the ring while Shida and Windsor have the Sisters of Sin in the corners of the barriers. The fans cheer as they all rain down fists!

Windsor, Jamie & Shida all go to nine, then wind up for TEN! The fans cheer again while Thekla sputters. Jamie snap suplexes, but Skye ROCKS Shida! Jamie stomps Thekla, Windsor SLAMS Julia off barriers, and Jamie stomps a mudhole in the corner. The ref counts, Jamie lets off, but Skye and Windsor meet while tightrope walking the barriers! Skye and Windsor trade shots, they wobble a bit, then Skye DECKS Windsor! Skye keeps from falling into the crowd, but Jamie gets her! Windsor joins in and the Birds double gorilla press, SNAKE EYES off the apron! The fans fire up, but Thekla is up top! SUPER CROSSBODY onto The Birds!

The fans fire up again and Thekla is feeling it while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Thekla stomps Windsor, CLUBS Jamie, then helps Skye. But Shida runs up, only for Thekla to ELBOW her down! The Triangle has control again, they ROCK Jamie and Shida and Windsor, then send them all to the desk. The Triangle CHOP again and again and again! Then they wind up, but feint chops to SMACK all three off the apron! The Triangle soaks up the cheers and jeers before putting Jamie back in the ring. Thekla brings Jamie up, snapmares her down, then basement SUPERKICKS! Cocky cover, TWO! Thekla drags Jamie to the corner, tags Julia, and Julia runs up to LARIAT! Then she goes side to side to ELBOW Jamie down!

Julia snapmares Jamie to a cover, TWO! Julia is annoyed but she rains down fists. The ref reprimands, Julia stops, but then she sucker punches Windsor! And Shida, too! Julia then drags Jamie over, bumps her off buckles, and tags in Skye. Skye stomps Jamie around, then digs her boot in! The ref counts, Skye stops at 4, then she brings Jamie up. Jamie fires forearms and CHOPS, but Skye THROWS Jamie down by her hair! The ref reprimands again but Skye rains down forearms. Skye snapmares Jamie, mule kicks her, then covers, TWO! Skye frowns but she stomps Jamie down. Skye tags Julia while Dynamite returns to single picture.

Skye whips Jamie into Julia’s grasp, and Skye BLASTS Shida & Windsor while Julia tags Thekla. Julia has Jamie in the TARANTULA, and Skye sends Windsor in for Thekla’s HANGING HEADSCISSORS! Skye runs up to DOUBLE SHOTGUN The Birds! The fans are torn but Thekla says that’s how the Triangle does it, baby! Thekla then aims to MISSILE- NO, Jamie gest under! Thekla lands out, but Jamie BOOTS her down! Jamie looks at Shida, Shida is hesitant, but Shida tags in! The fans cheer as Shida sends Theknla to the corner, then JUMP KNEES! Shida keeps moving, she BLASTS Skye! Julia ROCKS Shida back!

Julia storms in but Shida kicks her and whips her into Thekla! Shida KNEES them both in the corner! Then Shida puts Thekla sideways in the corner, reels Julia in, and she snap suplexes Julia into Thekla! The fans fire up as Shida then suplexes Thekla high and hard! Cover, TWO! Shida stands Thekla up, Thekla swings but Shida ROCKS her first! And ROCKS her again! Thekla wobbles, swings, but Shida catches Thekla for another forearm! Shida runs the ropes but Thekla mule kicks! Thekla SMACKS Shida, then she dodges a boot to DECK Shida! Thekla talks trash on Shida, then drags her up to tag in Julia.

Julia tags Skye, then tag back to Thekla. The Sisters of Sin hit the DOUBLE GOURD BUSTER and DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! Thekla hits the bridge, and she aims for the SPIDER SPEAR! Cover, but The Birds CLOBBER The Sisters of Sin onto it! The fans fire up a Windsor DECKS Skye and Jamie HEADBUTTS Julia! The Birds drag Shida to safety, Windsor tags in, and she CLOBBERS Thekla! Windsor CLUBS away, then fires the fans up. Jamie steps in, BOOT RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP COMBO! Basement LARIAT! And then Windsor lifts! Jamie runs up, but Skye trips Jamie! The fans boo but Skye sends Jamie into steel steps!

Thekla sends Windsor into buckles! Tag to Julia before Shida runs up, TAMASHII KNEE on Thekla! Skye SUPERKICKS Shida! Jamie is back to clinch and HAYTBREAKER! Julia runs up, slips around, SOLE FOOD! Julia kips up, but Windsor is there to whip Julia to ropes! Skye tags in before the SPINEBUSTER! Skye SUPERKICKS Windsor, then brings her up! Skye hops on, CODE- NO, Windsor pops free! Skye SUPERKICKS again, but Windsor HEADBUTTS! The fans fire up as Jamie joins in again, and they DOUBLE LARIAT SANDWICH! Then they set Skye up, and Jamie says let’s try this again!

Jamie runs the ropes, but Thekla slides in, BELT SHOT on Jamie!! No question that the ref saw that! The Triangle is disqualified!

Winners: Hikaru Shida & The Brawling Birds, by disqualification

The Toxic Spider doesn’t care about this win, she just wants to do damage! Skye gets Windsor in a DRAGON SLEEPER! The ref stops Thekla from sing the title belt again, so Thekla just takes off her own belt! And she LASHES Windsor while Skye holds her down! More refs rush out here, but Julia MISTS the newbie in the face! Julia stomps away on Jamie, not caring about fines or consequences, either! The fans boo, and Shida is bailing on the Birds? Shida cares more about her chances in that Fatal 4 Way than anything else. But then Willow, Mina, and even Thunder Rosa rush out here! They chase The Triangle off with belts of their own!

The fans cheer as The Babe, the Fighting Gravure Idol & La Mera Mera save the day. But will Jamie make sure Thekla and Shida pay for this at Double or Nothing?

AEW World Championship: Darby Allin VS Konosuke Takeshita!

They say “card subject to change,” and that is true even for the best in the world. Kazuchika Okada’s real family takes priority, but his Don Callis Family brother was more than happy to step up for this opportunity. Will The Alpha already have two belts by the time he and The Rainmaker battle over the International Championship? Or will Darby truly be relentless in his pursuit of being the best fighting champion in AEW history?

The introductions are made, THE belt is raised, and we see who goes to Double or Nothing on top!

Callis joins commentary to say that while Darby’s been breaking his own body, Konosuke has perfected “rejuvenation training,” aka relaxing on a beach and sipping sake! The bell rings, and Darby SHOTGUNS Konosuke out! Then Darby DIVES, but Konosuke catches him! Konosuke POSTS Darby, then THROWS him into railing! Konosuke THROWS Darby into the ring, the fans fire up for both guys, and Konosuke hurries to BOOT Darby off the apron! Darby falls in front of commentary but Konosuke gets him right back in the ring. Cover, ONE!! The fans rally as Darby shows his grit, but Konosuke snarls.

Konosuke drags Darby up, Darby fires forearms, but the ALPHA ELBOW knocks Darby down! The fans fire up while Konosuke looms over Darby. Konosuke stands Darby up, and THROWS him into a corner! Darby bounces off the buckles and is bleeding from the mouth already! Konosuke stands Darby up, hoists him up top, then he climbs up after him. But Darby BITES Konosuke, CLUBS him down, and leaps for a CROSSBODY, but he bounces off Konosuke! The fans fire up again as Konosuke whips Darby for a BACKDROP! Darby got serious hangtime there, and he flounders out of the ring. Darby coughs and sputters but the fans rally up.

Konosuke goes out after Darby but Darby SMACKS him! Konosuke KNEES low, KNEES him again and again and again! Konosuke KNEES Darby against the barriers, then refreshes the count. Konosuke whips Darby hard into railing! Darby sputters as he leans against the railing, but Konosuke positions the steel steps. Konosuke then fetches Darby, lines up a shot, but Darby fights the suplex! Darby CLAWS Konosuke’s back, then fires a shot. Konosuke DECKS Darby in return! Darby slumps against the steps, Konosuke runs up, but Darby dodges! Konosuke’s knees hit the steps and he tumbles over! Darby then runs up the steps to SHOTGUN Konosuke down!

The fans fire up while both men are down on the floor! Konosuke checks his knee before he crawls around, and Darby gets in the ring so he can build speed! Darby DIVES! Direct hit on Konosuke but Darby’s the one who hits the desk! The fans fire up while both men are down again, but Darby rises up to get Konosuke on the apron! Darby fires forearms, then goes up a corner! COFFIN- NO, Konosuke catches him for a SUPER BLUE THUNDER BOMB to the floor!! The fans go nuts again and Callis says that’s the end of Darby Allin, but Dynamite goes picture in picture.

The ref hurries to check Darby but Callis tells Doc Sampson to call it. Darby is somehow still in this, so Konosuke storms his way over. Konosuke drags Darby up, puts him in the ring, then paces around him. Konosuke runs the ropes to LARIAT! Darby flips inside-out, Konosuke covers him, TWO!! Darby still has fight inside but he’s also dazed. Konosuke clamps onto Darby with a chinlock and squeezes tight. Darby endures, even as Konosuke leans on him with his much-taller frame. Darby reaches out, fights around, and rises up, only for Konosuke to CANADIAN RACK BOMB! Darby sputters all over again while Dynamite returns to single picture.

Konosuke sits back as he watches Darby crawl to the apron. Konosuke storms his way over, but Darby RAMS low! Slingshot sunset flip, but Konosuke rolls through! Only for Darby to kick the legs out! Darby catches Konosuke to a GUILLOTINE! Konosuke endures the squeeze, fights up to his feet, and he powers out to THROW Darby! Darby lands out, fires shots, and RAMS low! Darby then hops on, but Konosuke stops Code Red! Konosuke swings Darby around, tucks him in, BASTARD DRIVER! And WHEELBARROW GERMAN! The fans fire up and Callis says that’s true power! Darby sputters again and Konosuke vows to end this.

Konosuke runs corner to corner, HELLUVA KICK!! Then he hoists Darby up top, climbs up after him, and goes to the very top! The fans freak out already for the SUPER DUPER GERMAN SUPLEX!! Bridging cover, TWO!!! Callis is freaking out as much as the fans, and he protests the count! Konosuke is furious, but he aims for the WAGAMAMA KNEE!!! Cover, TWO?!?! Darby survives by nanoseconds, and Konosuke is beside himself! “This is Awesome!” but now CLØN rushes out here! He distracts the ref, and Callis hurries to take the Dynamite Diamond Ring off his finger to put it in Konosuke’s hands! Konosuke thinks about it, but The Alpha has honor!

The fans cheer as Konosuke wants to do this his way! But then Darby runs up, cradles, TWO!! Konosuke escapes, ALPHA ELBOW!! Darby is down, dazed, but still moving! Konosuke drags Darby up again, goes back to the corner and back to the top rope. The fans hope these two “FIGHT FOREVER!” but it has to end somehow! Darby fights against the lift with headlock punches! Then he hops on, SUPER CODE RED!! Konosuke staggers up, Darby leg scissors, steps through, LAST SUPPER!! TWO?!?! Konosuke escapes again, then bails out! So Darby just goes up top! SUPER COFFIN DROP!! Direct hit and both men are down again!

The fans are thunderous as Konosuke and Darby stir. A ring count climbs, Callis complains that some people just gotta follow directions and run the play! Coach Callis pulled Konosuke outta obscurity, Konosuke would do anything! Now he’s got some gold, some fame, and gets a mind of his own! Callis complaining aside, the ring count is climbing! Darby drags himself in at 9, but Konosuke YANKS him back out! That refreshes the count, and Konosuke vows to end this for real now. Konosuke points to the steel steps, and he drags Darby up onto them with a deadlift RAGING- NO, Darby knees Konosuke, turns things around, and FULL METAL SCORPION DEATH DROP!!!

The fans go nuts again while Konosuke writhes! Konosuke flops off the steps, Darby crawls into the ring, and Darby just climbs the corner again! SUPER DUPER COFFIN DROP!!! Konosuke might be unconscious! Darby still hauls Konosuke into the ring, pushes him to a cover, TWO?!?!? Konosuke survives and Darby is furious! But Darby just reloads, COFFIN DROP but onto knees!!! Ghost pin, TWO!!! Darby escapes but the WAGAMAMA KNEE finds him!! Konosuke hauls Darby up, but Darby pops free! Trip, step through, and SCORPION DEATH LOCK!!! Konosuke endures, reaches out, but Darby sits deep!!

Callis says don’t even think about it! Konosuke almost does, but he bites his own thumb to ignore the pain in his back! Konosuke reaches out, crawls his way forward, and he fights to the ROPEBREAK!!! But Darby is right up top! COFFION DROP on the back!! Then Darby goes right back up, COFFIN DROP again!!! Cover, DARBY WINS!!

Winner: Darby Allin, by pinfall (still AEW World Champion)

Callis is steaming, but Darby overcomes Konosuke to avenge that loss in the Continental Classic! But it also took so much out of him just to do it! Darby still asks for a mic and one is brought to him. Darby sits up against the ropes, has them cut his music, and he tells MJF to get his ass out here! There’s a contract MJF needs to sign! The ring crew hurries to bring in a table and some chairs for that very contract signing, and MJF makes his entrance. MJF reluctantly makes his way down the ramp, and both men meet at the table. Darby grins with blood still in hiss teeth, and he signs his part of the contract without hesitation, unlike MJF.

The fans already chant “BALD! BALD! BALD!” at MJF, and Darby pushes the contract to his side of the table. MJF grabs the pen, reaches out, but then steps away. MJF scratches his chin as he thinks on this, and the fans just chant, “BALD! BALD! BALD!” again. MJF takes a mic to say he’ll explain something to Darby, looking like he has rabies. But see, MJF is happy for Darby, he hopes Darby’s had fun holding MJF’s AEW World Championship. The fans boo that, but MJF says deep down, there is a small part of him, like the size of a North Carolinian p*nis small. That small part of MJF feels bad for Darby, because he’ll never hold this again!

Darby’s got about a good a chance of holding this title as Hangman Adam Page does again. MJF says guys like Darby are a dime a dozen, here today and gone tomorrow, stuntmen who burn the candle at both ends. In this life, people like all these fans here like to pretend that life is about making friends and family and children. The only thing that matters in life is your legacy. And Darby’s legacy will be that of the kid who had his 15 minutes of fame. They’ll pretend like Darby made a lasting impact, but the fact of the matter is, he hasn’t. He hasn’t! They’ll know deep down that Darby Allin was just a little pr*ck who got lucky.

They’ll know that Darby was too reckless and stupid to stay on top. And after May 24th, Double or Nothing, in that sh*thole of Queens, New York, y’know what MJF’s legacy will be? He’ll go down as the guy who became a THREE-TIME World Champion at just 30 years of age, unprecedented in this sport. And MJF will go down, when it’s all said and done, as the Greatest of All Time! THAT is the difference between them! Darby Allin brags about climbing a mountaintop. But when it comes to professional wrestling, Maxwell Jacob Friedman IS the mountaintop! The fans boo but MJF soaks it up. Darby tells MJF to SHUT UP!

Only someone like MJF who is so vain would think that the number one most important thing in this world is his legacy. Darby doesn’t care about legacy, he cares about living in the moment! And in this moment, Darby just wants MJF to sign the contract. Then at Double or Nothing, Darby makes Maxwell Jacob Friedman a BALLD HEADED B*TCH!! MJF frowns but the fans cheer that! MJF grabs the pen again, and with no choice, he signs on the dotted line! Then he TACKLES Darby! The fans boo as MJF beats up Darby after the war he went through with Konosuke! MJF CHUCKS an armchair outta the ring, FLIPS the table, then picks up his Dynamite Diamond Ring.

MJF puts the ring on his finger like always, then winds up to DECK Darby!! The fans boo but MJF just soaks it all up. MJF throws off his jacket, picks up the belt, and he stands over Darby with it. But then MJF isn’t done with Darby, he puts Darby on the top rope! MJF climbs up to join him, and drags Darby into position! But wait! Kevin Knight runs out here to chase MJF off! The Jet still owes The Scumbag a receipt, but it seems we’ll all have to wait on that. Will MJF still take back the title at Double or Nothing? Or will Darby keep the belt and take MJF’s dignity?

My Thoughts:

An awesome episode for Dynamite as things heat up towards Double or Nothing. Awesome 10 Man Tag to open, great win for the Faces, not that it added much to FTR VS C&C. Good promo from Jericho to look back on Stadium Stampede and hype up this year’s match. Good promo from The Demand with Davis and The Dogs, and I suppose this maximizes the feuds as well as the alliances throughout the locker room. Who knows who wins but the match will still be awesome, just as the original was. Good promo from Conglomeration, too, Cassidy & Roddy going after FTR while Kyle VS Moxley happens on the side, that’s great stuff.

Speaking of Moxley, great promo from him and Ospreay. Moxley’s semi-turn has really brought out his sage philosophical side. Great match from Ospreay VS Ace, and while Ospreay could always bring out his aggression, seeing him use more technical wrestling and even winning with a submission is good stuff. Good promo from Joe, and I liked Death Riders backing Ospreay up. Very good Owen Hart Cup brackets this year, Joe VS Ospreay is a great choice given this story, but I would think Ospreay wins that one. Good promo from Jack Perry to call out Davis, and I suppose Jack can win in the Owen Cup to then move on from the National title.

Great seeing Brian Cage back, he gave Knight an awesome match, but with JetSpeed wanting to go on a Two Man Power Trip, it makes sense Kevin won out. Same for Bailey beating Westbrook, even though Westbrook maybe went too hard on his own acrobatic escape. Great stuff in the Six Woman Tag, and I appreciate Shida didn’t ditch until after the match. Willow, Mina & Rosa might get their own Six Woman Tag with Triangle of Madness after that interaction, but also can’t wait to see if Willow can go back-to-back as Queen of Harts. For that matter, I personally would love to see Athena use the Owen Cup to move on from being ROH Women’s World Champion, but that depends on how Supercard of Honor goes this Friday.

And of course, another wild instant classic from Darby as he overcomes Takeshita. I knew the diamond ring would come into play with that reverse effect, good way of protecting Takeshita in the loss. Good stuff with MJF tonight, too, such as the opening segment’s parade of bald men to send the message to MJF. That was also a unique contract signing segment in that it came together so quickly after the main event match. Good stuff from MJF as always, and of course he attacks Darby. I feel like either Knight should not have made the save, or both parts of JetSpeed should’ve made the save. It just seems odd that only Knight cared about saving Darby. The closing moment was much better when it was MJF standing over Darby with the belt.

My Score: 9/10
