Bandwagon Nerds #190: My Wife’s A Skrull?!
This week, the Bandwagon was very streamlined as Dave and PC Tunney helmed the ship to guide you through the week that was in the Nerdosphere. Secret Invasion continues to impress and this week, we found out just how big the invasion actually is. Who is a Skrull, who isn’t, and just how big might this 6-Episode event actually be to the MCU as a whole? The guys look at some interesting trailers, including the first official trailer for Dune: Part 2 and the upcoming DC documentary. Speaking of DC, it looks like James Gunn has found his Superman (and his Lois as well), while casting rumors about the upcoming Fantastic Four movie continue to cause us frustration and annoyance. The Jonathon Majors saga takes another turn, Netflix faced backlash for some fairly outlandish reasons, the ongoing writer’s strike claims another victim (one of our favorites no less) and the $2 million Magic The Gathering card has been found. All that and much more on the one pod to rule them all….Bandwagon Nerds!

This week’s Bandwagon Nerds is loaded with drama, intrigue, action, and a healthy dose of irony. We cover the season finale of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. In the explosive finale to a tremendous season, things progress from the courtroom to a desperate fight for survival for all involved, which does not end up the way anyone thought it would. What does this all mean for Season 3? Meanwhile, over on The Boys, Episode 6 of the show’s final season had its own massive Womp Womp moment as Soldier Boy makes a shocking choice that will resonate throughout the remaining two episodes. An extended visit to the Trailer Park takes a look at the latest for The Odyssey, The Burroughs, Tony, and Power Ballad. Joe Russo had an interesting take on spoilers, and Matt Reeves gave us our first look at The Batman 2. All that plus we pay our respect to Ted Turner.
