What Should Seth Rollins Do On WWE Monday Night Raw?
WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins has a big announcement coming–exactly how should WWE handle his injury? Greg DeMarco breaks it down!
WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins has a big announcement coming–exactly how should WWE handle his injury? Greg DeMarco breaks it down!
Last Monday’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw had a much talked about main event featuring Seth Rollins defending his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Jinder Mahal. Just two weeks prior, Jinder Mahal was revealed to be the “former WWE Champion” teased by Triple H, only to have him run down the crowd and be confronted by the REAL surprise, The Rock. The Rock would end the segment teasing his now expected WrestleMania 40 showdown with Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
Jinder himself would confront Rollins the following week, taking advantage of The Visionary’s desire to be the workhorse champion. As any good babyface champion would, Seth Rollins accepted the challenge, leading to last Monday’s championship main event.
Of course, no one expected Jinder Mahal to capture the World Heavyweight Championship, but Triple H (and team) booked themselves a spectacle with plenty of extracurriculars courtesy of Indus Sher, Damian Priest, and Drew McIntyre. Despite Tony Khan’s reservations, WWE delivered a main event worthy of the championship.
But it didn’t come without consequences. Seth Rollins was visibly injured during the match. Initial reports said he was okay backstage, but he’d later be pulled from the weekend’s live events, with rumors of him also being pulled from Raw appearances. Eventually WWE would reveal that Rollins would “address his future as champion” on Monday’s edition of Raw, and that revelation was quickly followed by reports on the nature of Seth Rollins’ injures: a torn MCL and a partially torn meniscus.
And that’s not the type of news you want to hear when headed into WrestleMania season.
Rollins has several options for his injury, including a lesser surgery or rehab–each involving 4-6 weeks of recovery. That would put Rollins back into a WWE ring before the weekend of April 6 & 7, the weekend of WrestleMania 40.
A more invasive surgery would put Rollins out for longer. And despite the positivity of the reports, we don’t know for sure that a more invasive surgery won’t be needed.
And that brings us to Monday’s Raw. What should WWE do? What should Seth Rollins announce?
Seth Rollins Should Vacate the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on Raw
Yes, there’s a chance that Seth Rollins WILL be able to perform at WrestleMania 40. So why make this decision now? Because there’s also a chance that Seth Rollins WON’T be able to perform at WrestleMania 40. And if you’re WWE, you need to put yourself in the best position possible.
And believe it or not, a vacant World Heavyweight Championship does just that. But it wouldn’t be vacant for long.
The 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble Match Should Crown a New WWE World Heavyweight Champion
The 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble Match is one of the most anticipated in quite some time. Even the staunchest Cody-Truther doesn’t expect him to win two straight Rumbles (it has happened three times in history). Scan social media, and most of them expect him to win the Elimination Chamber and dethrone Roman Reigns (despite the obvious showdown between The Rock and Roman Reigns that absolutely wouldn’t be happening in Perth).
Headed into Saturday’s premium live event, we know 14 of the 60 participants of the combined Royal Rumble matches. Yet the stakes seem like they have never been higher–a job well done if you ask me.
Want to ramp that up even more? Crown a world champion in the match for the third time in history. But let’s make this a moment that will forever live on in history.
Cody Rhodes Should Eliminate CM Punk to win the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble Match and Capture the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
That’s a hell of a moment, and the first world championship for Cody Rhodes on this stage. It’s a huge deal, one complete with tons of pyro, confetti, and everything you’d expect for Cody Rhodes’ first world championship in WWE.
Oh, and Damian Priest. And Damien Priest’s Money In The Bank Briefcase.
Damian Priest Should Cash In his Money In The Bank Contract after the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble Match
Damian Priest ruins Cody Rhodes’ moment, which is going to piss off Cody Rhodes, the WWE Universe, and even CM Punk. Why CM Punk? Because he’s a changed man.
CM Punk would lose to Cody Rhodes, a man he respects. He then believes Cody deserves his moment, and Damian Priest ruined it. That doesn’t sit sell with Punk, who interjects himself into the Elimination Chamber Match when it’s down to Cody Rhodes, Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, and JD McDonagh.
Cody Rhodes wins the Elimination Chamber Match for a shot at Damian Priest, and for his troubles, CM Punk is added to the match.
It doesn’t matter if CM Punk or Cody Rhodes wins the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40, or if Priest retains. It’s the semi-main event on Night 1, right before Rhea Ripley beats Becky Lynch to close out the first night. Of course, Roman Reigns gets the big win over The Rock to close out the event.
What if Seth Rollins is Able to Perform at WWE WrestleMania 40?
Remember, there’s a chance that Seth Rollins is able to perform at WrestleMania. During his Monday Night Raw promo, have him promise to be at WrestleMania, in any capacity possible. If he can’t wrestle, he can still appear. Maybe it’s just to taunt Roman Reigns (The Tribal Chief still hasn’t been able to defeat The Visionary), maybe it’s involving the World Heavyweight Championship Match.
But if he can wrestle? Then you create a moment. A heel promo–I suggest Dominik Mysterio–that ends with Seth Rollins appearing and having either a match or a fight. Either way, Seth Rollins stands tall in the end, a satisfying return. From there the possibilities are endless. Cody, Punk, even Reigns. Plenty you can do from this moment forward.
And for those of you who hate this because you believe Cody Rhodes would Finish The Story in Philly? Don’t worry, it will happen. When? See ya at WrestleMania 41!

Chris King: Is Brock Lesnar Truly Retired?
Brock Lesnar retired at WWE WrestleMania 42, right? Are we totally sure? Chris King asks…
Brock Lesnar retired at WWE WrestleMania 42, right? Are we totally sure? Chris King asks…
At WrestleMania 42, ‘The Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar took off his boots and gloves following his loss to Oba Femi. Lesnar has done it all inside of his twenty-four-year career in professional wrestling. He’s a ten-time WWE Champion and former UFC Heavyweight Champion, and he’s one who ended The Undertaker’s undefeated streak at WrestleMania.
While Lesnar was in the ring, he was visibly overwhelmed with emotion and crying while he thanked the fans in his own way. The Beast even threw up an x to signal to Paul Heyman, his longtime friend and advocate, that this was not scripted and was real. There had been rumors that Lesnar and Oba were supposed to have a series of matches before everything went down at Mania.
‘The Career Killer’ Gunther was doing Heyman’s bidding as he faced Seth Rollins for a favor. For a while now since Gunther retired Goldberg, John Cena, and AJ Styles, the rumor has been Gunther was set to retire Lesnar in his hometown at this year’s SummerSlam event. There’s been no confirmation if Lesnar is truly retired, but on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, we saw Heyman talking with General Manager Nick Aldis. Later that night following Rhodes’ match against the debuting Ricky Saints, Gunther choked out the WWE Champion. Could this be the favor from Heyman?
I know in the world of professional wrestling we live by the mantra of “never say never,” but what if Lesnar is actually retired and this was WWE’s way of shutting down those rumors about Gunther and Lesnar? What if Gunther’s next program is chasing after the WWE title, and where is Randy Orton at in all of these plans? There are so many questions that need to be answered, hopefully soon!

Chris King: Defend The Intercontinental Championship At Backlash!
With WWE Backlash upon us, Chris King wants to see Penta defend the Intercontinental Championship in Tampa!
With WWE Backlash upon us, Chris King wants to see Penta defend the Intercontinental Championship in Tampa!
This year’s annual Backlash showcase is only a few days away, and while there are many big matches announced, one that definitely should be isn’t on the card. In my opinion, outside of Roman Reigns/Jacob Fatu and Seth Rollins/Bron Breakker, the Intercontinental Championship scene has been stellar over the last month.
Penta has been an excellent champion, especially after his triumphant title defense in a ladder match against JeVon Evans, Rusev, Dragon Lee, and the Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania 42. Their ladder match at Mania was one of the best that WWE has produced in a while.
The momentum never stopped, as on the post-Mania episode of Monday Night Raw, ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page made his debut and was quickly inserted into the Intercontinental title scene. Page had a fantastic showing against his longtime NXT rival Evans and picked up a big win in his debut match thanks to an assist from Rusev.
All Ego immediately joined forces with ‘The Bulgarian Brute’ Rusev, who was also vying for the Intercontinental Title in his own right. On this week’s episode of Raw, Page and Rusev defeated Evans and Penta. All Ego pinned the champion, making a huge statement and putting him one step closer to getting a title shot. For the past few weeks I’ve been anxiously waiting to see if WWE was going to add this incredible fatal four-way match for the Intercontinental Championship, but it hasn’t happened yet.
As much as the WWE Universe enjoys witnessing great matches on free television, I truly believe all four superstars deserve the chance to showcase their talents on the PLE. While Penta has done a terrific job as the intercontinental champion, it’s time for a fresh face to hold the prestigious title. Page would make a great braggadocious heel that would help elevate the Intercontinental Championship to new heights!
