While The Maniac is going to face Konosuke Takeshita in a Title Eliminator regarding his IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, he’s here tonight at the sight of his AEW debut five years ago! That night was Double or Nothing 2019 and he gave Kenny Omega a Paradigm Shift onto the stack of giant poker chips, but it would seem he’s gonna be face to face with Don Callis now. Callis makes his way out to the ring now and fans boo him and his weird low bass rumble theme song. Callis says he has something important to say, and he tells Jon that he isn’t here to cause any trouble. Callis just wants to talk about their history.
Did everyone know that on Callis’ second night in AEW, he cost Moxley the AEW World Championship? Hey, he’s trying to talk to Moxley, stay out of this! The fans keep booing, but Callis says Moxley literally got his pound of flesh. Roll the footage of the night Moxley decked Callis and caused him to be cut open! Then Callis turned on Kenny Omega just a few nights later! Look at Moxley take advantage of that! Without knowing it, they both changed the course of this company! Every morning, Moxley is the first person Callis thinks about, because Callis sees this scar. TWENTY-FOUR stitches! For most, that’d be a deal breaker.
But Callis says he and Moxley aren’t like most people. Not like all of these normies in the crowd! Ironic of Callis to say that when these “normal people” want to see Moxley scar Callis again… But Callis says when he was in the hospital, Moxley opened the door. Callis thought Moxley was gonna finish the job! Moxley put his hand on Callis’ shoulder and said, “You’re one of us now.” Callis looked Moxley in the eyes, and what he saw was nothing! The same as when Callis looks in his eyes. The worst kept secret as that these two are a lot alike. They see everything, but feel nothing! They are “high-functioning sociopaths,” and pro-wrestling gave them a platform to change the world!
Thirty years ago, guys like them would be an institution somewhere! But they worked together and Moxley beat Omega. The fans tell Callis to STFU, but Callis tells Moxley that when Moxley said “You’re one of us now,” Moxley was right! Callis helped Moxley beat Omega, but who didn’t Callis didn’t have to help? Takeshita. And Jon, this isn’t a threat, but Moxley has Takeshita tomorrow and it kills Callis. Callis doesn’t want to see this match. Imagine instead, them on parallel yet separate paths, and just once, if they were going it he same direction! They could run AEW! Tony Khan couldn’t stop them! The UN couldn’t stop them!!
So Callis isn’t here to pitch anything, Moxley’s too smart for that. But just imagine what this could be like. They’re alike! They’re not alone! So instead of the eliminator, use that time to make an announcement about Moxley’s future with The Callis Family! What does Callis have to do to get this done? Moxley is taken aback, paces a bit, and fans want him to deck Callis already. Callis offers the mic and Moxley takes it. The fans sing, “F HIM UP, F HIM UP!” Moxley tells Callis, “Okay, just one question.” Anything! What is it? “Well, if you and I are gonna trust each other, if we’re gonna be on the same page, I’m gonna need more of a commitment than that little baby scar on your forehead right there.”
So how about 24 MORE scars in that big bald head of Callis’? But then Takeshita CLOBBERS Moxley from behind! This was the plan all along, wasn’t it? ALPHA ELBOW!! Takeshita then gets a chair, brings it in, and he puts it around Moxley’s arm! Takeshita stands on the arm, then goes up the corner! The fans boo and Takeshita flips Moxley off, before the DIVING STOMP!! Moxley’s arm could very well be broken inside the chair! And then Takeshita STOMPS the chair more! Bryan Danielson & Claudio Castagnoli rush out here and that sends The Callis Family running! The damage has been done, will Moxley be able to stop Takeshita tomorrow night?

The ref counts, Claudio lets off cleanly, but Dutch uppercuts! Dutch headlocks, Claudio powers up and out, but Dutch RAMS him! Claudio RAMS back! Dutch RAMS again! They continue to RAM back and forth, then Dutch kicks low! Dutch scoops and SLAMS then mocks the air guitar! Dutch headlocks, Claudio powers up and out, then drops and hurdles to UPPERCUT! Dutch rebounds, into a scoop! And SLAM! The fans fire up, Claudio runs to DOUBLE STOMP!
The fans fire up, Claudio tags Garcia in. Vinnie gets in but Garcia headlocks. Vinnie powers up and out but Garcia runs him over! Things keep moving, Vinnie CLOBBERS Garcia! Archer stomps away on Garcia in a corner, lets off as the ref counts, and Vinnie drags Garcia up. Vinnie CHOPS, Archer talks trash on fans, and Vinnie bumps Garcia off buckles. Vinnie drags Garcia up to SIDE EFFECT! Cover, TWO! Archer sends Tanahashi into railing! Garcia grabs at Vinnie’s beard but Vinnie pushes him. Vinnie puts Garcia in a corner, CHOKES him, but lets off as the ref counts. Dutch tags in, The Righteous mug Garcia, and then Dutch reels Garcia in for a short arm LARIAT! Dutch mockingly air guitars, then he stomps Garcia. Dutch drops an ELBOW, then covers, TWO!
Dutch keeps on Garcia, brings him over and bump shim off buckles. Tag to Archer, but Garcia fires forearms on Archer! Archer DECKS Garcia! Archer stomps away on Garcia, roars and storms around, then taunts Tanahashi with his own air guitar. Archer even mocks Garcia’s dance! The Bang Bang Gang punked out Pac, and that sparked the flame that revived Death Triangle! But in order to make their coming Six Man Tag match for all the gold, Austin & Colten are taking on Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fenix in a battle of brothers! Will there be zero titles on the line at Double or Nothing? Or will there be CERO MIEDO!?
The teams sort out but things are tense. The ref has them all back off, and we get Penta starting against Austin. The fans rally with “CERO! MIEDO!” Austin is annoyed, he and Penta circle, and Austin mocks Penta’s swagger. Penta shoves Austin and tells him, “Listen! CERO! MIEDO!” And pie face! Austin says Penta should listen! “GUNNS! UP!” And pie face in return! The fans boo, the two argue, and Penta tells Austin listen. But Austin DECKS him! Fenix SUPERKICKS Austin! Colten runs in and DROPKICKS Fenix! Penta SUPERKICKS Colten! Austin CLOBBERS Penta! Fenix and Austin DOUBLE LARIAT!
All four men are down and the fans fire up! The brothers regroup, The Gunns run up, the Lucha Bros dodge! The Gunns dodge, but the Lucha Bros DOUBLE SUPERKICK! The Gunns bail out, the fans fire up, and The Lucha Bros say “CERO! MIEDO!” They both run, both slide, but the Gunns duck under to get under the ring! The Lucha Bros drag the Gunns back out, “UNO! DOS! TRES!” But the Gunns duck and superkicks collide! Austin sends Fenix into barriers, then Colten puts Penta in the ring! Austin tags Colten, then he drags Penta up. Colten CHOKES Penta on the ropes, then ties his mask to them! The ref reprimands, Austin stomps Colten, then he lets off. Colten CHOKES Penta! Austin taunts Fenix, the ref tries to free Penta, but Austin’s knot is pretty tricky. Austin tags Colten, Penta gets free, and the Gunns stomp him. Colten stomps Penta some more, then drags him up. Colten kicks low, then soaks up the heat. Colten kicks Penta out, goes out after him, and brings him around to POST! Penta tumbles and Colten slides in. Tag to Austin, Austin taunts Penta before he BOOTS Penta down! Austin drags Penta up, SMACKS him off the apron, then taunts him with #GunnsUp.

Backstage interview with Chris Jericho & “Big Bill” Morrissey.
Arkady Aura is with The Learning Tree & “Redwood,” and notes Jericho’s FTW Championship will be a Triple Threat after Hook and Katsuyori Shibata got a double submission victory. Does this bother Jericho at all? Bill says if he may be so bold, if there is one thing Jericho has always said, it is that when you face adversity, and you are facing the darkest hour, you have to dig deep to pull out the light. Bill is sure that applies here. Jericho agrees. And he loves Arkady’s name, it sounds like a place where you play video games. Anyway, to be serious, he was not expecting to have two opponents.
But now that he does, after 33 YEARS of being on top of the wrestling world, doing the greatest things that’ve ever been done, the fan support that he has, he knows he’ll have to work extra hard to retain the title. But as the longest reigning “For The World Champion” at 34 days, Jericho thinks he will come away with a win. When you’re The Learning Tree, you have to be ready to face all adversaries, and all different types of opponents. But then in walks Bryan Keith. The Bounty Hunter says he missed his shot, but he promises that this ain’t the last we’ve seen of him. Keith heads out, Jericho smiles and thanks him for that.

#CombatKyle is still a bit sore from losing to Malakai Black, but he isn’t gonna let The End be the end of his comeback! Will he just keep fighting until he’s going for gold?
The bell rings and Kyle runs up to fire off on KM! KM shoves Kyle, swings, but Kyle body shots, KICKS and KICKS! Kyle runs, but KM DROPKICKS him! KM fires up, wrenches and whips Kyle corner to corner hard, and he asks, “Who suck snow?!” The fans say “YOU!” KM runs in, but into a BOOT! KM comes back, into another boot! KM tries again, Kyle dodges the splash! GUILLOTINE FACELOCK! KM RAMS Kyle into buckles, but Kyle holds on tight, body scissors included! KM fades, so Kyle lets go to KICK! AX and- NO, KM blocks the smash! Then he blocks a kick! But Kyle blocks a haymaker to get the ARMBAR!! KM taps, Kyle wins!

Willow Nightingale is here!
The fans cheer as the TBS Champion, and her good pal Kris Statlander, heads to the ring. Kris leaves it to Willow from here, and Willow steps in the ring to get a mic. The Babe with the Power says, “Las Vegaaaaas~! Y’know, it feels really great to be here. And on the fifth anniversary of All Elite Wrestling, none the less. And we got Collision on TBS tonight, and you can’t have Collision on TBS without The Face of TBS!” The fans cheer that! Willow revels in their chants a moment before saying thanks. But she also thinks about last night’s Rampage, and how someone else put their hands on her TBS Championships: Mercedes Mone.
The fans are torn but mostly boo The CEO. Willow says Mone has been here about two months, and Willow keeps talking about respect. But we’re way past that now. Tomorrow night, Double or Nothing, Willow will WRECK Mone! She will make Mone long for the days when she was out of harm’s way, sitting at home on the shelf! And Willow knows that championships come and go. But she’ll be DAMNED if tomorrow is the night this reign ends! Because for years, Willow has been working towards HER dream. She’s had knee surgery! Not many known this, but she was almost PARALYZED by a neck injury five years ago, before ever getting to AEW!
So now, Willow gets to live her dream as TBS Champion. And Willow will go through Manitoba Massacres, she will hop on planes to go to Japan, 14 hours each way, and fight in a Stardom ring. So Mercedes, Willow is just getting started! The fans fire up for Willow and she nods. Willow tells Mone that Mone says Willow can’t beat her at 100%. But Willow knows Mone can’t beat Willow at any percent! Because last year, Willow did just that! And tomorrow, at Double or Nothing, she proves that the better woman IS Willow Nightingale! The fans are fired up as Willow holds that title high, but will she be holding it at the end of Sunday night?
Backstage interview with Trent Beretta.
Lexy Nair is with #JustTrent and says that he has all the moment going into his match with Orange Cassidy. Aside from that, this is also deeply personal. We saw Trent end Chuck Taylor’s in-ring career, is he going to try that with Cassidy? Trent says that he’s already said everything that he’s had to say about “that con-man narcissist.” Trent vows that tomorrow night, he shows the whole world something Trent’s known for a long time. But in steps Rocky Romero. Azucar knows they haven’t talked, he just wanted to see him before tomorrow night. It’s a big night, Trent’s been here since day one, lots of memories between what was The Best Friends.
No matter what, Rocky just hopes there is a way they can all put this all behind them. They’re more than Best Friends, they’re family! Trent says that’s not happening at all. And don’t ever interrupt him again. Trent leaves, Rocky isn’t sure what to make of that, is Trent already past the point of no return?

While The Young Bucks are busy with Anarchy in the Arena tomorrow night, they will need challengers for their AEW World Tag Team Championships at some point. This match will go a long way in clearing out the pack, who stands tall after this massive match as strong contenders?
But wait, Platinum Max has a diss track on deck! “The House of Black ain’t about s*it, a new ball gag would fit right in with those outfits! I treat Infantry like infants, getting overpowered. Fake American heroes, y’all’re stolen valor! I heard you rap but you’re not as cold as ours. You pissed me off, now you got the golden shower. From the tip of my pee niz to the top of your tongue, don’t talk about me, b*tch! I heard Brian Cage can’t stay hard, your other two guys, I don’t know what their names are! They still talk a big game, but in Vegas, Everybody Loves The Acclaimed!”
Bowens then takes the mic to say, “LAAAS VEGAAAAS~! The Acclaimed have arrived! Scissor me, Daddy Ass~!” And he does! Caster’s words really sting and those punchlines were smart, but will The Acclaimed return to the top of the tag charts?
The teams all sort out, and in this form of Fatal 4, only two teams are legal at a time. Caster and Carlie Bravo start, circle, and they tie up. Bravo rolls Caster up, ONE! Caster rolls Bravo up, TWO! Bravo sweeps to cover, ONE! Caster sweeps to cover, ONE! They stand off, Caster pushes Bravo but Bravo pushes back. They circle, Caster avoids the House of Black and tags Bowens. Bravo isn’t as aware, Buddy Matthews tags in off him. Buddy and Bowens circle, but then Bishop Kaun tags himself in! The Cameroonian Prince tells Bowens to split, then he ties up with the Aussie Juggernaut. Buddy headlocks but Kaun powers out. They RAM shoulders, then Kaun goes again.
They RAM shoulders again, Buddy hits a headlock takeover. Kaun headscissors, Buddy kips free, and the two stand off. Brody calls to Buddy, Buddy tags him in. But Kaun tags Toa Liona and the fans fire up for the big meaty men! Brody and Liona circle, they BLAST Infantry and Acclaimed! Then they run up to LARIAT! “MEAT!” The forearms fly, “MEAT! MEAT! MEAT!” Bowens gets in but Brody DECKS him! The “MEAT! MEAT! MEAT!” continues but Caster gets in. Liona DECKS Caster! The “MEAT! MEAT! MEAT!” gets going, both Infantry get in. Liona and Brody DECK them both! Then Brody ROCKS Liona!
Kaun runs up, Brody BOOTS him! Brody brings Liona up but Liona fireman’s carries! Brody slips free to HEADBUTT, but it hurts Brody! You never headbutt a Samoan! Liona fireman’s carries, Buddy runs up, so Liona dumps Brody to knee Buddy! Liona TOSSES Buddy out, UPPERCUTS him, then ROCKS Brody! Brody leans on ropes, Liona roars, but he runs, and Buddy dumps him out! The teams all fight o the outside, and BRODY DIVES!! Direct hit into the cluster, STRIKE! The fans are thunderous as we go picture in picture!

Buddy anchors Caster’s foot, yanks him back and he BLASTS Bowens! Caster reaches for The Infantry but Buddy keeps Caster from them, too. The Infantry avoid the sucker punches, then Caster dodges Buddy! Infantry get in Caster SUPERKICKS Buddy! The Infantry DOUBLE SUPERKICK! Brody tags in, he misses wide, DOUBLE SUPERKICKS, then DOUBLE SUPERKICKS, then TRIPLE SUPERKICKS!! Brody finally falls, Kaun runs up! SUPERKICK from Caster! TRIPLE SUPERKICKS again! Liona runs up, he CLOBBERS Caster, then breaks through the Infantry’s line to DOUBLE CROSSBODY!
The fans are torn as Liona drags Caster over, tags himself in off Caster, then fires up. Liona runs in at Brody to SPLASH! “MEAT!” Buddy is up top! METEORA! Buddy turns around, Kaun uses Liona as a step for a FLYING SHOTGUN! Caster returns to fireman’s carry, DEATH VALLEY DRIVER on Kaun! Linoa throat chops Caster! Infantry mugs Liona, they hook him up, but Brody CLUBs them all! Brody fires off on Liona, reels him in, but Liona is so big! Linoa fireman’s carries to SAMOAN DROP! Cover, Caster breaks it! Liona glares and grabs Caster by his neck! Liona SHOVES Caster out, but Bravo tags in!
Bravo ROCKS Liona, DUMPS him out, then hurries in. There’s more brawling outside between Gates and Acclaimed, but The Infantry take the corners! They take aim, STEREO SUPER CROSSBODIES!! The fans fire up again and The Infantry are in. They dodge Brody, BOOT Buddy, SUPERKICK and FOREARM for Brody, repeat! They reel Brody in, but he powers out of the double suplexes! The Infantry bob ‘n’ weave, the brawling on the outside gets wilder as Billy Gunn and Brian Cage join in! The Infantry hook Brody up, but Buddy disrupts Boot Camp! Brody CLOBBERS Dean! The other teams are just gone, fighting all the way to the back!
Buddy has Bravo in a corner, the fans hoot with Brody, and he runs in at Bravo, CANNONBALL DROPKICK COMBO!! Cover, The House wins!

But no, instead I have to fight for my life against a woman who thinks that twitching on the floor was a sign from the universe that she should keep wrestling!
“You want to be a victim? I will make you a victim. I will make your three seizures feel like a Sunday stroll in the bloody park! The saddest part about your life is that you thought it had any meaning at all. But don’t worry. In your obituary, they will mention that you lost to the champ.” The leading lady is even more vicious than ever, will she make sure Deeb never works in this town again?

Toni Storm’s protege is herself riding high after the big tag win on Wednesday, but now she’s got a LEGIT opponent standing across from her. Will Mariah still be able to shine on her own? Or will she be lost without her mentor by her side?

The fans fire up, Leyla is flustered, and Mariah does a little dance. Leyla is furious, Mariah shrugs, and then Leyla clinches! BELLY2BELLY!
Leyla drags Mariah up but Mariah fireman’s carries! SAMOAN DROP! Mariah sits Leyla up, runs, and SHOTGUNS Leyla down! Mariah rocks out and Collision goes picture in picture.
Mariah swaggers around as the fans cheer, and she brings Leyla up. Mariah bumps Leyla off buckles, and puts some stank on the DOUBLE CHOPS! Leyla shoves Mariah, Mariah scuffs her, then snapmares her. Mariah does a little prance then runs to PENALTY KICK! Cover, TWO! Mariah clamps onto Leyla with a body scissors and full nelson, then shifts to a short arm scissor! Leyla fights around, powers Mariah to a pump handle and cording hold! Mariah throws Leyla off her, then DECKS her! Mariah continues to swagger, drags Leyla up and scoops, for the SPIN OUT SIDEWALK SLAM! Mariah is having a little too much fun as Leyla flops out of the ring.
Mariah goes out after Leyla, drags her up and fireman’s carries, but Leyla fights free. Leyla RAMS Mariah into steel steps! Leyla puts Mariah in, stomps her, then clamps on a rear bearhug! Mariah endures the squeeze, fights up to her feet, but Leyla whips her into a corner. Leyla runs up to ROCK Mariah, and she rolls to come back, SWINGING DROPKICK! Collision returns to single picture as the fans rally up for Mariah. Leyla drags Mariah into a drop zone, steps on her and climbs up. The fans cheer for Leyla, “SHE’S LEGIT! Mariah LARIATS Leyla, BOOTS her, then hits a SAIDO! Fans fire up with Mariah and she goes to a corner. Mariah climbs, leaps and MISSILE DROPKICKS! Cover, TWO! Leyla is still in this but Mariah grits her teeth. The fans rally, Mariah drags Leyla up and bumps her off buckles. Mariah puts Leyla up top, CHOPS her, then storms around. Mariah runs corner to corner, to go into the STRATUSPHERE! Leyla flounders, Mariah says kiss this! SWEET HIP- NO, Leyla gets around to O’Conner Roll! Then she blocks a kick to get around and GERMAN SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO! Mariah survives and Leyla is stunned!

Will The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn get a big win on Sunday? Or will they fail to escape the #CageOfAgony?
Backstage interview with Serena Deeb.
Lexy is now with The Professor, and brings up those “vicious” comments by Toni Storm. We are less than 24 hours from their match, is Deeb ready? Deeb says tomorrow night is the biggest match of her career. Double or Nothing, or perhaps Deeb or Nothing. Toni Storm, in this lead up to the match, they’ve had some fun and games. Storm stole the banner, paraded around in it, but let Deeb ask you this: It wasn’t so fun when you had to throw in the towel and save that stooge, Mariah, from losing a leg, now was it? And Deeb is sure Mariah is grateful to Storm for making sure she could walk out of there that night. But Deeb can’t say the same for Storm.
Deeb will stretch Storm limb from limb, and it’s been a long time coming. Tomorrow night, Deeb finally becomes AEW Women’s World Champion! And “Timeless” Toni Storm will become Time’s Up Toni Storm. See you tomorrow night. The Professor is ready to teach the Leading Lady a life lesson, will it have to be learned the hard way?
AEW takes a closer look at Swerve VS Christian.
The Patriarch says, “Swerve, I felt it was apropos to return to the scene of the crime. The crime you committed against my son. My son, Nick, learned to walk in this ring before he could even run these ropes. Because you didn’t just jump my son, Nick, in a random wrestling gym. You jumped him on holy ground. An eye for an eye.” Swerve admits his methods were a “little misunderstood,” a little skewed, but he always got things done in the ring. No one can ever say Swerve didn’t deserve the world title. Christian hears a lot about Swerve’s House. And he told Swerve that he never forgets.
All In Wembley, Swerve embarrassed Christian. Christian said he’d make Swerve a footnote, but that’s no longer enough. Swerve must be held accountable for his crimes. Two years in AEW and people are still calling Swerve a footnote. He’s on TV, he promises AEW, he promotes AEW on radio and podcasts. He is the face of AEW, the world is forgetting Christian Cage. Christian reminds us that he is taking something from Swerve every week. For every ounce of Nick’s blood that was spilt, Christian is taking the title. Swerve asks if Nick’s yet to learn his lessons. Swerve doesn’t think they have it in them to do this to a world champion!
Swerve has built his house, and at Double or Nothing, he proves it’s whose house? The reason Swerve is not sleeping at home is because he’s too busy building this house! Christian vows to wipe Swerve from the annals of AEW, and to become the NEW AEW World Champion. Two fathers fighting for their families and their legacies, but whose house must suffer for the other’s to thrive?
Six Man Tag; Bryan Danielson & FTR VS Team Triple J!
The American Dragon & #TopGuys made it through Archer & The Righteous last week, but another faction just had to take The Elite up on that Double or Nothing bounty. Will Jay Lethal, Jeff Jarrett & Satnam Singh get another big bag of money for this hit job? Or will Bryan, Dax & Cash prove nothing’s gonna stop them before Anarchy in the Arena?
The trios sort out but Triple J keeps ’em guessing. Things finally settle down, and it is Bryan starting against Jarrett. They circle, tie up, and Jarrett arm-drags! And arm-drags again! And even a JAPANESE ARM-DRAG! Jarrett does the Fargo Strut, and he tags in Lethal! Bryan keeps cool as he and Lethal circle. They feel things out, tie up, and Lethal knees low. Lethal swaggers, pie faces, runs, but into a kitchen sink knee! Bryan KICKS Lethal, drags him up, and tags in Dax. Dax kicks Lethal, puts him in a corner, and CHOPS! And UPPERCUTS! And CHOPS again! Dax brings Lethal over, bumps him off buckles, then whips.
Cash tags in, then slingshots to SHOULDER TACKLE! The fans fire up and Cash bumps Lethal off buckles hard! Lethal sputters, Cash CHOPS him! Cash goes up, and he rains down fists! But Jarrett storms in, so Cash CROSSBODIES him! Lethal gets Cash but Cash atomic drops back! Cash finishes up on those fists, but Jarrett distracts the ref, and Satnam grabs Cash by the neck! HOTSHOT for Cash! Satnam drags Cash out to CHOP! Sonjay laughs at Cash, the ref tells Triple J to back off, and Collision goes picture in picture.
Satnam shoves Cash in for Lethal to drag around. Lethal has the leg, stomps it, steps through, FIGURE FOUR! Cash endures and his team coaches him but Lethal thrashes the leg! Cash reaches out, has to be careful about his shoulders, and he ROCKS Lethal! Lethal lets Cash go, but then CLUBS Cash! Lethal stomps and CLUBS Cash, then tags Jarrett in. They double whip but Cash reverses. Only to get caught in a RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Jarrett taunts Dax, stomps Cash, then kicks him around. Jarrett stomps Cash more and more, then drags him up. Jarrett whips, ELBOWS Cash down, and he stays between Cash and his team.
Jarrett drags Cash around to drop elbows on the knee! Jarrett then clamps on a toehold and pulls on the leg. Cash endures, tries to fight back but Jarrett elbows him. Cash CLUBS away on Jarrett, Jarrett elbows him again, and Cash’s shoulders are down! TWO, and Cash CLAWS at Jarrett’s face! Jarrett lets go of the leg to stomp it! Jarrett KICKS the leg out, and Cash falls over again. Cash rises, but Jarrett KICKS the leg again! And then clamps on for a SHIN BREAKER! Jarrett drags Cash around, steps through, but Cash BOOTS him away! Jarrett hits buckles, falls back, and Collision returns to single picture!
Both men crawl for their corners, the fans rally, and Lethal jumps in to get Cash’s leg! Cash still jumps around, and hot tags Dax! Dax JABS, JABS and DECKS Lethal! And DECKS Jarrett! Dax whips Lethal, Lethal reverses but Dax snatches him for a package, TWO! Dax whips, Lethal reverses, and Satnam gets the cheap shot! LETHAL COMBINATION! The fans boo but Lethal storms up on Dax. Lethal drags Dax over, points to the big man, and the fans boo. But Lethal tags in the One in a Billion! Satnam dribbles Dax like a basketball! The fans do cheer the show of strength, and Jarrett says he and Lethal can just relax now!
Jarrett & Lethal take a seat in some chairs, Karen sitting on her hubby’s lap, and Satnam palms Dax’s head like a basketball! Cash AX HANDLES, but Satnam is just upset! Satnam SHOVES Cash up and out! Dax is in a corner, Satnam run sin, but Dax dodges! No more relaxing, Jarrett tags in! But so does Bryan! The fans fire up as Bryan fires hands on Jarrett! “YES! YES! YES!” The fans fire up as Bryan KICKS away on Jarrett, “YES! YES! YES!” Bryan climbs up to rain down fists! The fans count all the way to TEN, then Bryan whips corner to corner. Jarrett reverses, Bryan goes up and over and keeps moving! Bryan ducks ‘n’ dodges to LEAPING LARIAT!
Vegas is all fired up with Bryan and he runs to DROPKICK in the corner! Bryan keeps moving, another DROPKICK! Bryan keeps moving, but gets under Jarrett’s lariat to wrangle him! Omoplata, LEBELL LOCK! Lethal CLOBBERS Bryan! Cash storms in, DUMPS Lethal out, and then he calls to Bryan. Bryan builds speed, and DIVES while Cash PLANCHAS! Down go Lethal and Jarrett! Dax says OLE to Satnam and sends him into steel steps! Satnam hobbles his way into the ring, Bryan & FTR get in! They surround the giant, and they KICK! KICK! KICK! “YES! YES! YES!” TRIPLE KICKS rattle Satnam from all sides!
Bryan winds up, to BUZZSAW! FTR mock The Bucks, F T R TRIGGER!! And then BUSAIKU KNEE!!! Satnam staggers about! Lethal gets in, DOUBLE LETHAL INJECTION on FTR!! But Bryan DISCUS LARIATS Lethal! Jarrett reels Bryan in, but Bryan slips around! Jarrett still RAMS Bryan into buckles! The fans boo as now Karen gets Jarrett the guitar! But the ref snatches it! Aubrey’s been through this crap before and she tells Karen, “Not tonight, b*tch!” But then Sonjay gets Jarrett a chair! Jarrett aims at Bryan, takes a swing, but Bryan dodges and the chair SMACKS Satnam!! The giant tumbles up and out!!
Bryan aims, Jarrett panics, BUSAIKU KNEE!! Lethal runs in, into a SHATTER MACHINE!! Cover on Jarrett, Team AEW wins!

Karen is furious but there’s nothing she can do about it! Cash gets a mic and says, “2020, FTR made the debut in AEW for the first time in our careers. Four years ago, that very moment, AEW became our home. AEW is where I will live, I will breathe, I will fight, I will DIE for this company! Everybody, wrestling fans, are better off because of AEW. Wrestlers are better off because of AEW! The entire wrestling world is better off because of All Elite Wrestling!” The fans agree with all of that! Cash says FTR & Bryan might be beat up, might be hurt, they and Darby Allin might limp into Double or Nothing. But Cash swears that they’re the only ones that’ll walk out!
Dax takes the mic to say that five years ago, almost to the day, in this building, the same people here tonight, this company started. Why is FTR fighting for AEW? It is not just this company that FTR is fighting for. They are fighting for every single man and woman that wakes up in the morning, goes to work, has a terrible day, but comes home, turns their TVs on, and watches AEW. And for that one moment in time, whether it’s one or two hours, all those problems are gone. One time a week, two times a week, FTR gets to be their hero. If they were to die tomorrow, Anarchy in the Arena, they will be your heroes. #TopGuysOut!
The fans are fired up, just like The American Dragon & FTR! Will they and the Relentless Darby Allin tear down the corrupt Elite to save All Elite Wrestling?
My Thoughts:
A very good Collision, but it always feels like things get so talkie. And that kinda happened here because this was the go home show. All the promos were well done, as they almost always are, but were also in many ways redundant. Well, mostly the Chris Jericho one, but I guess him taking up screentime is part of the gimmick now. Willow’s was really good, too, but I wouldn’t say that changed the go home math or anything. Edge’s promo after that awesome Fatal 4 was also good, and I suppose that’s the promo that matters since he is now turning the tables on Malakai. Edge naturally would want to lead the faction rather than join it, but again something feels very Edge & Judgment Day about this, not sure what happens here.
Storm’s promo certainly helps her ride that Tweener line. On one point, yeah, she’s right, tragedy in life doesn’t entitle anyone to anything outside of sympathy. But at the same time, she sure didn’t show any sympathy to Deeb’s tragedy. Deeb’s response was also good, the title match will be great stuff, but surely Storm retains. And I will say that we got a very good video package for Christian and Swerve, I just wish it wasn’t also on the night bogged down by other promos. The irony is, this video could’ve been on the Countdown to Double or Nothing special from last night, but I wouldn’t know because I didn’t watch it. There must be fans who do watch it if AEW keeps doing them. But it just feels like after five years, AEW would’ve figured out how to not make things feel redundant.
Great opening promo from Moxley with Callis, and good ambush from Takeshita. I thought that with Double or Nothing only giving us a Title Eliminator, Takeshita would still win and force something for Forbidden Door. Now I don’t know. Maybe Takeshita defies the math and wins with cheating, or they go outside the box and have Moxley get disqualified because he’s just that pissed. Great opening Six Man Tag right after, with Hiroshi Tanahashi being a great surprise. A great win for the Faces there, and there’s any number of possibilities for Forbidden Door, but surely Tanahashi will want a part of that card.
Great tag match of Gunns VS Lucha Bros, but I figured Lucha Bros would win to force the trios title match. Granted, still don’t see Death Triangle winning out, but it’ll be a great match. And also of course another match is added to the Buy-In, it’s what happens with all AEW PPVs. Great filler squash of Kyle beating KM, Kyle should definitely be waiting on the other side of Double or Nothing for a title match, and it’d be fitting continuity if he went for the TNT Championship after having his matches with Edge and the House of Black. A good filler match from Mariah and Leyla, with a good win for Mariah. It’d be a bit copy-paste from ROH making Athena & Billie Starkz a mentor-mentee champion duo, but what if Mariah tried for the TBS Championship before going for the world title?
And great main event Six Man Tag, but of course the Faces won. Very good closing promos from FTR, though Dax has used his spiel about doing this for us, the hardworking folks, before and it’s a bit redundant again. I still want this to turn into AEW Avengers: Endgame or whatever, but the way things are going, I would think Team AEW, aka the Faces, find a way to win to motivate Bucks VS FTR “One last time” and at All In 2024.

The trios sort out and Briscoe steps up against #BadNews&Tattoos. The fans are behind Briscoe as he and Bravo circle. They approach, Bravo kicks low, and he flips everyone off. The fans boo, Bravo headlocks, but Briscoe powers up, out, and headlocks in return. Bravo powers up and out but Briscoe RUNS him over! The fans cheer, and Briscoe runs. Bravo drops down, hurdles, but Briscoe hits a crane stance! Bravo says that’s stupid! But Briscoe ducks Bravo’s punch to UPPERCUT! Briscoe whips, Bravo reverses to ROCK Briscoe! The forearms go back and forth, Briscoe fires a flurry, but Bravo CLAWS Briscoe’s face!
Bravo runs, but Briscoe winds up to UPPERCUT! The fans cheer the Redneck Kung-Fu! Lee tags in and hits his tiger stance. But then Kyle calls to Briscoe, and Briscoe tags Kyle! The fans cheer as Kyle and Lee tie up, go around, and Kyle wrenches. Lee wrenches, slips through, and waistlocks. They go around, Lee switches but Kyle has the arm. Kyle arm-drags Lee down, double wristlock, but Lee fights around. Kyle body scissors, rolls to the cover, TWO! The fans fire up as the two go again, knuckle lock, and Lee headlocks. Kyle powers up and out, Lee goes up and around, but Kyle does the same to slide under.
Lee ducks a kick, then wheelbarrows to victory roll, then EURO CLUTCH! TWO! Kyle is up, Lee backs off, and the fans cheer the exchange. Lee points to Nigel McGuinness, wanting him to remember the Euro Clutch did him in the last time they faced off. Kyle storms up on Lee, Lee headlocks, but Kyle powers up and out. Lee RUNS Kyle, keeps moving, but Kyle drops down. Lee sunset flips but Kyle stays up! Kyle shakes his head, drops down into the ARMBAR, but here comes The Infantry! Briscoe & Cassidy intercept Dean & Bravo, fire off hands in corners, and Kyle shifts to an ANKLE LOCK! But Lee reels Kyle into a headlock.
Briscoe & Cassidy TOSS The Infantry, then go out after them. Lee waistlocks, Kyle fires elbows, and Kyle climbs up in the corner. The fans count along as Kyle goes all the way to TEN! Tag to Briscoe, he climbs up, and he rains down fists! Briscoe goes all the way to TEN, then he tags Cassidy! The fans fire up again as Cassidy winds up, climbs up, and rains down ONE! The fans cheer Cassidy while Lee stumbles. Lee tags Dean, and now The Captain steps to Cassidy. Dean says go ahead, put the hands in the pockets. Cassidy says okay, and he raises his hands, to then slowly, slowly, put them in his pockets!
The fans cheer as Cassidy then ducks ‘n’ dodges Dean, and still arm-drags Dean away! Dean runs up, Cassidy drops down to MONKEY FLIP! Then Cassidy kips up! The fans fire up, but Bravo storms in and whips him to a corner. Cassidy goes up, out, and ducks Bravo to bump him off buckles! Dean tries, but Cassidy bumps him off buckles! Bravo tries again, he just gets buckles! Dean tries again, he just gets buckles! The fans fire up as Cassidy climbs, but Lee trips him up! The fans boo while Cassidy falls to the mat, but the ref has to keep Kyle & Briscoe from going after Lee! The Infantry flanks Cassidy, but Cassidy bobs n’ weaves to dodge the shots!
Cassidy tries again, but the CARLIE CROSSOVER hits, then a feed to the SLINGSHOT SPEAR! Lee drags Cassidy to the apron, the ref is still distracted, Shane Taylor hits a GUILLOTINE LEG DROP! The fans boo but STP has taken control while Collision goes to picture in picture!
Lee drags Cassidy up, puts him in the ring, and Dean covers, TWO! Dean drags Cassidy up, whips him to ropes, then BODY BLOWS! Cassidy falls in a heap but Dean soaks up heat. Dean stomps Cassidy, drags him up, then bumps him off buckles. Dean tags Bravo to send him in for the SPLASH! Dean adds a SPLASH, then scoops while Bravo goes up, KNEE DROP SIDEWALK SLAM COMBO! Cover, Briscoe breaks it! Bravo is upset, but he CLUBS Cassidy. Cassidy fights the suplex, Bravo CLUBS him again and again, then suplexes through! Cover, TWO! Cassidy toughs it out but Bravo drags Cassidy over to the corner.
Dean tags in, The Infantry stomps away on Cassidy, but the ref counts. Dean stops to kneel on Cassidy, then steps off again. Cassidy throws “shots” on the leg, but Dean stomps Cassidy down! Dean then BLASTS Briscoe & Kyle! The ref reprimands but that just lets Bravo CHOKE Cassidy! The ref reprimands Bravo now as Collision returns to single picture. Dean asks, “Is this camera on me? B! B! C!” BRONCO BUSTER CAPTAIN! Dean bounces, Bravo says if you see Cap in that corner, yo’ ass is a goner! Dean drags Cassidy up, tags Bravo, and Dean sends Bravo in for the SPLASH! Then feed to Dean, but Cassidy tilt-o-whirl DDTS!
The fans fire up but Bravo hurries to anchor a foot! Cassidy reaches out, reaches out, but Bravo drags him back! Cassidy BOOTS Bravo away, Lee tags in, and Lee BOOTS Briscoe down! The fans boo but Cassidy swings! Lee blocks the lariat to wrench Cassidy into the COBRA TWIST! The fans boo, the ref keeps Kyle back, and STP links up on the twist! Four men strong and they make Cassidy suffer! The ref sees that, Dean lets go to defend his innocence, but that causes him to fall onto Bravo! Cassidy powers up to HIP TOSS free! Hot tag to Kyle! Kyle BOOTS Lee, KICKS him, then fires off a strike fest! LEG SWEEP!

This Wednesday, it’s a title eliminator, and after Kyle makes Moxley submit again, he is putting all his chips in and goes Double or Nothing! Briscoe says damn right, Kyle. And speaking of Dynamite, Tommaso Ciampa, Briscoe put it plain and clear, but he hasn’t heard a word from Ciampa! If Ciampa’s scared, he should just say it! Cassidy says Willow needs to say something.
Willow says sure, okay. Great job, guys, really. But for her, Double or Nothing, it will be TRIPLE or nothing, because she has THIS bad boy, the TBS Championship! But she’s also coming for The Owen, and the World Championship! As for tonight, Red Velvet may have beaten Willow to qualify for The Owen, but that won’t happen tonight. Before making her entrance, the ROH Women’s World TV Champion tells Willow, “The Comeback Killer,” that she’s still salty that Willow is in The Owen and Velvet is not. Tonight, she takes out all her frustrations every time she stirs it up and punches Willow in the face. Yeah, Velvet beat Willow before. And in fact, she’ll beat Willow for that TBS title right now!
The introductions are made, the teal belt is raised, and we see if The Babe with The Power is still the Face of TBS!
The bell rings and the fans rally as the two circle. They tie up, Willow powers Velvet to a corner, and the ref counts. Willow backs off, and she flexes as she fires the fans up. The two reset, tie up, and Willow SHOVES Velvet away. Velvet is frustrated as she comes back and resets with Willow again. Velvet then slips around Willow, waistlocks, but Willow wrenches out. Velvet wrenches back, top wristlocks, but Willow stays up. Velvet kicks and TRIPS Willow, then steps over to LEG DROP on the arm scissor! The fans rally as Willow rolls and stacks Velvet, TWO! Willow gut wrenches, but Velvet slips through! Willow ducks, but the superkick still scuffs her!
Willow says okay, okay, and she resets with Velvet. The fans rally behind Willow as she offers a handshake. Velvet accepts, but then arm- NO! Willow stops the arm-drag, and the next one, then whips Velvet to RUN her over! Willow fires up, the fans cheer, and things keep moving. Velvet runs up to CALF KICK! But just like last night, Sammy hushes “Chica” Lexy, and says, “Everybody’s Favorite Pillar is about to talk, so zip it and listen. Darby, I don’t need to call my shot against you because I looked through the history books, and history’s on my side. I’ve beaten you not once, not twice, not three times, I’ve beaten you four times. When I look at the history books, I’m a three-time TNT Champion while you, you’ve only held that belt twice.
“So I’m gonna beat you tonight like I’ve beaten you before. I’m gonna stamp my ticket to Double or Nothing, and MJF, I know you’re watching, you sociopath. I’m gonna beat you next week and I’m gonna shave you BALD! But don’t worry, I’ll give you a nice little fade. Because I am the best! I am the best wrestler, I am the best talker, I am the best this planet has! I’m the Spanish God, dammit! But tonight is number six against someone Darby’s known for a long time in Sammy Guevara. Darby says when he showed up today, he asked if anyone had seen MJF yet. Then he thought, “What a stupid question. Of course he’s not gonna be at Collision.” MJF is not a company man, he only cares about himself. And those same people asked back, why is Darby back? Why is Darby defending his title again? Double or Nothing is next Sunday, why is Darby risking losing this? Because Darby loves this!
And if there’s anyone in this company as crazy as Darby, it is Sammy Guevara. Darby loves it! Darby realizes this could all end tonight, and Speedball wants his match on Wednesday? Well, if Darby walks out here tonight, then on Dynamite, it’s Showtime! Darby thanks Lexy then heads back out. Will the Relentless Reign be an unstoppable one? Or is this one Collision Darby will not walk away from?

Tommaso Ciampa is CHOKING Mark Briscoe out! The Psycho Killer SMACKS Briscoe off road cases, and says how dare Briscoe call him out! Their brawl now moves onto the stage! The fans boo as Ciampa fires hands on Briscoe as they go down the ramp! Ciampa whips, Briscoe reverses, and Ciampa hits barriers hard! Briscoe stomps away on Ciampa, the fans fire up, and Briscoe whips Ciampa into more barriers! Briscoe throws a chair into the ring, then he drags Ciampa up and in. Ciampa bails out, but Briscoe DIVES! Down goes Ciampa, and Briscoe just throws another chair into the ring! Briscoe CLUBS away on Ciampa, then brings him up.
Ciampa BODY SHOTS, but Briscoe sends Ciampa into the steel steps! Briscoe puts Ciampa in the ring, stomps him, then positions the chairs. Briscoe reels Ciampa in, underhooks, but Ciampa fights the lift! Ciampa then LOW BLOWS Briscoe! The fans boo but Ciampa just scowls. Ciampa then grabs a chair, and he SMACKS Briscoe on the back! Briscoe writhes, the fans boo, but Ciampa just stalks Briscoe to a corner. Ciampa DIGS a chair into Briscoe’s bad shoulder! The fans boo but Ciampa soaks up heat. Ciampa then brings Briscoe up, bumps him off buckles, and hoists him up top. Ciampa CHOPS, Briscoe sputters, but Ciampa gets the chairs!
Ciampa wants to recreate what put Briscoe on the shelf the past month! Ciampa JAMS Briscoe up with a chair first before putting it side-by-side with the other. Ciampa then climbs up, soaks up heat, and vows to end Briscoe once and for all! But then Kyle & Cassidy rush out here! Ciampa runs away from The Conglomeration, but he warns them all that he’ll get them for this! Briscoe grabs a mic to shout at Ciampa, “You ain’t nothin’ but a punk, son! You wanna do it like that? Sounds like to me Wednesday night, the only right thing to do is to make this ANYTHING GOES! NO DISQUALIFICATIONS!” The fans like the sound of that!

Joe storms up on Lee, Lee backs off, but Lethal bails out. The fans boo but Joe just tags Bowens in. Bowens dares Lethal to come back, but Lethal tags Lee. The fans cheer Bowens as he circles with Lee. They tie up, Bowens headlocks, but Lee powers up and out. Bowens RUNS Lee over, then runs the ropes, but Lee drops down, blows past, and slides under to then headlock takeover. Bowens headscissors, Lee kips free, but roles reverse as Bowens hits a headlock takeover. Lee headscissors, Bowens kips free, but Lee kicks low! Lee mocks the scissor fingers, then whips corner to corner. Bowens goes up, over, but Lee goes up and over in return!
Lee flips Bowens off, but Bowens THROWS Lee to the corner! Bowens CHOPS, CHOPS, CHOPS, then stomps, stomps, stomps! The ref counts, Bowens backs off, and the fans cheer the Pride of Pro-Wrestling as he jukes the ref to stomp Lee again! The ref counts, Bowens stops, and Lee bails out. Bowens goes outside after Lee, but Lethal runs up! Bowens mule kicks Lethal first, then RAMS him into the apron! And again! And again! The ref reprimands, Joe has his guy back off, but he is definitely impressed. Bowens hurries back into the ring to storm up on Lee, but Lee throat chops! Lee goes for a corner but Bowens blocks the bump to give a bump!

Lexy Nair is with Brody King & Bandido, and wants to talk the Owen Hart Tournament. Brody is set to face Claudio while Bandido is up against Swerve Strickland. Now, if they both win their matches, that pits them against teach other in the semifinals. But what they also needs to talk about is last night, Supercard of Honor, Bandido retained the title, only for Swerve to attack. Brody tells Swerve that he warned him about what would happen if Swerve messed with the people Brody cared about! Next time Brody sees Swerve, he’ll- Bandido stops Brody there, and says no, no, hermano. Bandido loves you, but this is Bandido’s battle, and Brody needs to respect that.
So Bandido tells Swerve that this is a battle Swerve will not win! Swerve may be the Most Dangerous, but Bandido is the Most Wanted! And after Double or Nothing when Bandido beats Swerve, Swerve won’t be a danger to anyone anymore! Both sides of Brodido have spoken, but will either of them knock down Swerve’s House? They are on a collision course in the opening round of the Owen Hart Tournament, this has gotta be a tough one. Athena says maybe, maybe not, but the facts are this: Athena has been the ROH Women’s World Champion for over 1252 DAYS, and has left of dozens of bodies in her wake. Pretty sure Mina’s one of them. Mina says last year at All In, Athena broke Mina’s hand. Athena says so what! Last year at Death Before Dishonor, she kicked Mina’s ass all over the arena! Why does Mina think this match will be any different?
Mina laughs and says last night at Supercard, when she locked in the Figure Four on her opponent, she dreamt it was Athena. Athena says Mina is dreaming of her! So flattered! But she hopes Mina has the best dream tonight: Mina’s dead body in a ditch, next to her precious Toni Storm! Mina tells Athena that Mina has dreamt of winning The Owen and the AEW Women’s World title, while ending Athena! She can’t dream anymore, because now she will live it! Athena says sure, sure. They argue, but Lexy keeps them from getting physical! Will the Fallen Goddess be unstoppable even in AEW? Or will The Owen will be about #MinaNow?

Nigel appreciates that, that’s what he wants to talk about. Specifically, what happened between Lio and his former tag team partner, Action Andretti. Action cost Lio the ROH World TV Championship, what is Lio’s response? Lio says it’s all fine! It’s fine! These things happen, Nigel. Losses happen, friends get upset. It’s fine. It’s fine. Lio keeps saying that, and Nigel says that is the official response. Lio again says it’s good to see Nigel.
But then Lio takes off his sunglasses to show off those creepy eyes. He smiles, and that black goo drools out… Lio continues to say it’s fine, but is it anything but fine? Or should Action learn to sleep with one eye open?

They beat Davis down in the corner and the fans fire up! The ref counts, The Rascalz back off, then Zach tags Dez back in. They double whip but The dogs bail Davis out. The fans boo but The Rascalz run up to TRIPLE BOOT Davis & The Dogs down! Then they build speed, only for The Dogs to CLOBBER Zach & Myron!

Finlay runs up, blocks a boot, but Zach reels him in, pushes him down, then hops over! Zach then slips under Connors, but Connors gets a leg! Zach BOOTS Connors into Finlay! Zach crawls, but Connors BLASTS The Rascalz! The fans boo but Connors CLOBBERS Zach, too! Connors soaks up heat then drags Zach up. Connors whips, Zach handsprings, JUMP KNEE! As he makes his entrance, Sammy brings a table out from under the ring and sets it up ringside, planning ahead for the wild fight he and Darby are about to have! The introductions are made, and Darby kneels down with the belt, only for Sammy to STOMP him into it!! The ref reprimands, the fans boo, but Sammy holds up the belt as if he’s already won it! Sammy puts the belt aside, the bell rings, and Sammy KNEES Darby right outta the ring! Sammy THROWS Darby into railing, THROWS him in again, then goes back to his table! Sammy puts the table by the stage, then he drags Darby up. Sammy THROWS Darby into more railing! And more railing!
Sammy grabs a ladder and he brings it over to his table! The ref reprimands, there are no count outs but there are still disqualifications! Sammy doesn’t seem to care, he still stands his ladder up near that table. Sammy then lines up a shot, and he JUMP KNEES Darby back down! “I’m gonna be the world champion! Me! Sammy digs his boot into Darby’s face at the ropes, but the ref counts. Sammy stops, talks some trash, then stalks Darby to a corner. Sammy drags Darby up, whips him corner to corner hard, and Darby flounders out of the ring. Sammy pursues, drags Darby up, and he talks more trash on the fans. Sammy stands Darby up to ROCK him, then push him around. Sammy drags Darby up and THROWS him into railing! Sammy talks more trash, then walks around commentary so he can take a headset and tell everyone what he’s doing as he does it! He stomps Darby, taunts him, then has to go follow Darby around the way.
Sammy follows Darby into the ring, stands him up, but Darby fires hands! Sammy KNEES low, KNEES again and again, then ROCKS Darby! Darby falls over, but Sammy CHOKES Darby on the ropes! The ref counts, Sammy stops, and Darby coughs and sputters again. Sammy has the legs, he puts Darby under the ring, CATAPULT GUILLOTINE! Darby writhes and coughs again, but Sammy steps out to the apron. Sammy looms over Darby, drags him up by his chain, and Collision returns to single picture. The fans fire up as Darby rises again! Darby has his second wind and he builds speed to DIVE! Into a CUTTER on the floor! Sammy puts Darby back in, Sammy springboards in, but into a REAR NAKED CHOKE!! Darby catches Sammy now and the fans fire up! Sammy flails, reaches out, but Darby pushes him down with his body weight! Sammy still endures, crawls forward, and reaches the ROPEBREAK! Darby lets go and the fans rally up again. Fans hope these two “FIGHT FOREVER!” but this has to end somehow. Darby sees Sammy on the apron, and he goes to the corner! Darby climbs, but Sammy rolls to the far side.
Darby hops down, waits on Sammy to stand, and he runs up, but into an eye poke! Sammy hoe up, and he APRON DOUBLE STOMPS Darby down! Cover, TWO!! Sammy is frustrated but he drags Darby up to the top rope. Sammy climbs up to join Darby, but Darby fights the suplex! They trade body shots, and Darby SHOVES Sammy! Sammy backflips through! Sammy is right back up top, SUPER SPANISH FLY!! Sammy crawls to the cover, TWO! Sammy clutches his knee and grits his teeth. Sammy brings the kneepad down to release some pressure, then stands up. Sammy staggers, Darby runs up and fires forearms! The fans fire up as Darby roars and runs, but into a SUPERKICK! Darby wobbles, Sammy runs, but Darby blows past! Springboard and COFFIN SPLASH! The fans fire up again as Darby fires fast hands, RAMS low, then hops on, CODE RED! Cover, TWO!! Sammy survives and Darby is stunned! The fans rally up as Darby has Sammy in the dragon sleeper! But Sammy fires knees, snapmares free, only for Darby to ELBOW him away! Darby climbs, but Sammy SUPERKICKS the legs! Torture rack and GO TO HOSPITAL! Darby staggers around, but Sammy torture racks again! GO TO HOSPITAL!!

A great Collision that not only fed Double or Nothing but did a great job following up ROH Supercard of Honor, assuring fans that ROH does matter after all, despite the lack of building contenders and therefore new champions. I mean, Athena is STILL champion, even when Survival of the Fittest was the best way to dethrone her while protecting her. But good interaction from Athena and Mina ahead of their Owen Hart Cup match, and if Athena is going to still be champion even now, she might as well just be a finalist already. On the other end, it’d be great if Willow also got to the finals to potentially be a two-time Queen of Harts.
Speaking of Willow, great promo with Conglomeration, great match with Red Velvet, but with Velvet still the ROH Women’s World TV Champion, it makes sense that Willow retains her title. Great Six Man Tag from Conglomeration VS Shane Taylor Promotions, and The Conglomeration’s win helps them build momentum towards all their stories. Very good promo from Kyle, very good promo from Death Riders, and I feel like Kyle should at least last the 20 minute time limit to earn his title match with Moxley for Double or Nothing. Meanwhile, Cassidy & Roddy are NOT winning against FTR, FTR has to settle things with Cope & Christian first.
Ciampa going after Briscoe, that whole brawl, and then Briscoe upping the ante for Dynamite, that No Disqualification match is going to be awesome. Very good tag match of Joe & Bowens VS Lethal & Lee, with a good win for The Opps. Very good promo from Joe & Bowens after, and a very good promo from Ospreay, too. Joe VS Ospreay could be a show stealer, but I would think Ospreay wins so that his story with The Death Riders can be part of the Owen Cup. TayJay being back together is great, and I can see them going right at Divine Dominion and easily lasting the five minutes to then earn their title match later on.
Great Six Man Tag of Davis & Dogs VS Rascalz, but with Stadium Stampede looming, naturally Davis & Dogs won to bring momentum for their team. I’d expect The Demand to have their own tune-up for the three-hour super show go-home next week, but they might’ve announced that tonight if that were the case. Very good promo from Lio Rush to further this Jekyll & Hyde/Smeagle & Gollum type of gimmick for him. For those who didn’t watch Supercard (or haven’t read my article on it), Action Andretti turned on Lio Rush and partially blamed Lio’s new dark side for it. RIP CRU, we hardly knew you, but Action VS this Lio is going to be great stuff between AEW and ROH programming.
And of course, another insane instant classic from Darby Allin as he and Sammy use No Count Outs to get hardcore. Good bit of selling from Darby to tease his body giving out on him, but naturally he wins out. They might do a similar spot during his match against Speedball on Wednesday to make it seem MJF has a chance of taking the title at Double or Nothing.

Darby has made it clear that if MJF doesn’t sign said contract, Darby will never allow MJF to face him for the title again. We all know how important the title is for MJF, but is MJF willing to put his hair on the line for it? MJF just chuckles and moves on, but he notices the very bald Rick Knox, Bryce Remsburg, and the head of security, David Aponte. And then various bald members of the production staff…
And then even Christopher Daniels & Sonjay Dutt are there! Daniels and Sonjay chuckle before moving on, and then MJF sees John Silver flexing. Brandon Cutler, some arena staff, and even Tommaso Ciampa, all bald. Then last but certainly not least, Ricochet! He tells MJF that don’t worry, he’ll look great. Just not as good as Ricochet. AHA~! MJF storms off, will he have no choice but to choose between gold belt and chrome dome?

While we know the AEW World Tag Team Championship match will be a conglomeration of I Quit Match and New York Street Fight, THE Conglomeration will be waiting on the other side for their own tag title match. And let’s not forget that Matt & Nick Jackson want their own shot at those titles again. With that, can Freshly Squeezed work together with C&C and The Bucks? Or will the Psycho Killer, the Dogs, and the Top Guys all stand tall on the road to Double or Nothing?
The teams sort out and the teams just brawl it out! The fans cheer as The Bucks have The Dogs, Cope is after Ciampa, Christian is after Cash, and Dax brawls with Cassidy! Dax bumps Cassidy off buckles but Cassidy ducks the haymaker to waistlock. The Bucks, Cope & Christian clear everyone else out, then take the brawl outside! Dax ROCKS Cassidy to send him out, and the fans fire up as Matt fires hands on 100 Proof right by commentary! Ciampa whips Cope but Cope reverses, sending Ciampa into barriers! Cash sends Christian into railing, then CLOBBERS Cassidy! Nick fires hands on Finlay, Cassidy sends Cash into railing!
Cassidy and Dax meet in the ring, Dax ROCKS and CHOPS Cassidy, but Nick sends Finlay into railing! Dax DECKS Cassidy, throws hands on Cope, but Cope fires back! The fans fire up but the ref reprimands! Cope DECKS Dax, and wait, Christian and Cash are brawling in the crowd! Same for Matt and Connors! Finlay CLAWS Nick’s face, Cassidy ROCKS Dax, and Cassidy whips. Dax reverses, Cassidy goes up and out to then SMACK Dax off buckles! Cassidy goes up, Ciampa BOOTS Nick, and Dax trips Cassidy. Dax CHOPS Cassidy, climbs up after him, and goes to the very top! The fans boo but Dax stands Cassidy up, SUPER DUPER PLEX!
Dax then rolls through to suplex again, but Cassidy STUN-DOG MILLIONAIRES! Cassidy runs, tilt-o-whirls, and DDTS! Cassidy kips up, the fans fire up, but Finlay sends Nick into steel steps! #BigStoke grabs Cassidy’s foot, Cash CLOBBERS Cassidy! The fans boo but Dax puts Cassidy in the corner to tag Ciampa. FTR and the Psycho Killer mug Cassidy! The fans boo and the ref reprimands, but Ciampa stands Cassidy up. Cassidy blocks the chop! And he blocks another chop! The fans cheer but Ciampa kicks low and CHOPS again! The fans boo but Ciampa soaks up that heat. Ciampa drags Cassidy by a leg, turns him over, but Cassidy fights around!
Cassidy kicks and kicks but Ciampa drags him back! Cassidy turns to BOOT Ciampa away! Dax tags in and he CLOBBERS Cassidy! The fans boo but Dax flips them off. Dax whips Cassidy, runs up, but Cassidy dodges! Dax POSTS himself! Both men are down, hot tags to Cash and Nick! Nick rallies on FTR with haymakers, BLASTS Ciampa, but Cash kicks low! FTR whips, DOUBLE HIP- NO, Nick lands out, MEETING OF TEH MINDS! Then DOUBLE WHEEL KICK! The fans fire up as Nick then DROPKICKS Dax out! The Dogs run up, but Nick knuckle locks and CHOPS Finlay! Then Nick jumps over Connors, SUPERKICKS, and he goes for the corner!
Nick goes up, up, and “LUCHA LIBRE~!” FLYING ARM-DRAG RANA COMBO! The fans are thunderous and Nick tags Matt. Nick whips Finlay, Finlay reverses, but Nick goes up and over. Matt SUPERKICKS Finlay! Nick SHINING WIZARDS Connors, adds a GAMANGIRI, then The Bucks DOUBLE BULLDOG with the high-five! The fans fire up again as Matt winds up. Matt WRECKS FTR with a dropkick, then holds the way open, Nick FLIES onto FTR & Ciampa! But Connors back suplexes! Matt lands out, and NORTHERN LIGHTS! Roll through, NORTHERN LIGHTS! The Polar Express is getting going, and Finlay joins the ride! DOUBLE NORTHERN LIGHTS!
The fans are electric and it’s not just the volt green! Time for a SUPERKICK PARTAY~! Wait, Stokely grabs a foot each! The fans boo, the ref reprimands, but Stoke can’t even trip The Bucks up. The Bucks drag Stoke in! Stoke pleads for mercy, but FTR runs up! The Bucks dodge, mule kick, then SUPERKICK for Dax! SUPERKICK for Cash! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS on The Dogs! Then FTR is sent into The Dogs before DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! Ciampa runs up to waistlock but Nick switches. Ciampa BOOTS Matt away, ELBOWS Nick, but Matt dodges, PSYCHO KNEE into Cash! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS for Ciampa!
The fans fire up again, and The Bucks see C&C. They point to Christian, and the fans cheer! Christian steps in, the ref reprimands but Cope argues with the ref. This distraction lets Christian LOW BLOW Cash! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS for Cash! Christian covers, TWO! Cash survives, the fans boo, but Christian rains down fists while Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Christian puts Cash in the corner to CHPO, CHOP, and then rain down fists! Christian goes past TEN, maybe to fifteen, then stops. Cash sputters, Stoke talks trash, but Christian grabs Stoke! Cash CLUBS Christian, Ciampa HOTSHOTS the bad arm, and Ciampa hurries to tag in. Ciampa drags Christian around, SLAMS the bad arm off the mat, then SLAMS the arm again! Ciampa POSTS Christian, and Christian falls to the apron. The ref keeps his eyes on the rest of the team so they stay back. Ciampa goes out, and he SWINGS the bad arm into the post! Christian scrambles away, clutching the arm, but Ciampa taunts Cope with a wave.
Ciampa tags Connors, Connors tags Finlay, and The Dogs stomp away on Christian. Finlay clamps onto the bad hand, bends the fingers, then JAMS them into the mat! The ref reprimands but Finlay anchors Christian while he tags in Dax. Dax CHOPS Christian, DECKS him, then taunts Cope and The Bucks. The Bucks rally the fans, Cope coaches Christian up, but Dax brings Christian around. Christian blocks a shot to hit back, but then Dax kicks low! Dynamite returns to single picture as Dax UPPERCUTS Christian back to the corner. Stoke is on commentary suddenly to say Christian tried to steal Stoke’s watch, aka the watch Stoke stole from Christian.
But Christian fires back on Dax and the whole corner! Then he and Dax DOUBLE LARIAT! The fans fire up while both men are down! Christian crawls, but we can see Cash and The Dogs sneaking over! They and Ciampa YANK down Cope, Cassidy and The Bucks! The fans boo but Dax drags Christian back to center. Dax kicks and scuffs Christian, then talks trash. But Christian slips around to chicken wing the arms! Dax shoves Christian away, but Christian turns around, NOGGIN KNOCKER! Both men are down and the fans fire up again! Cope snarls as he rises up, hot tags to Cope and Connors!
The fans fire up as The Rated R Superstar rallies on everyone! LARIAT for Cash! ELBOW for Dax! Cope TOSSES Finlay out onto Ciampa and Cash! BOOT for Connors! The fans fire up again and Cope goes to a corner. Cope is feeling it, and he aims at Connors. But then Finlay grabs a leg! The fans boo, but Nick SUPERKICKS Finlay! Connors runs up, Nick RAMS him low! Then slingshot FACEBUSTER! And cartwheel ASAI MOONSAULT! COPE-O-SETIC for Connors, TWO! The fans rally as Cope keeps focus on Connors. Cope drags Connors up, whips him to the corner, then Nick runs up! Connors puts Nick out, then he puts Matt out!
But Christian is back, and he coordinates with The Bucks, LARIAT DOUBLE ENZIGIRI on Connors! Then Cassidy somersaults for a “powerful” back elbow! Finlay runs up, Cassidy kicks the legs out! Finlay hits buckles but Ciampa runs up! Christian sends him into Cash, then dragon sleepers Ciampa. Christian sees Dax run up, kicks him low, and gets him in the same hold, DOUBLE REVERSE DDTS! The fans fire up as FTR, Ciampa and Finlay are all in drop zones! “This is Awesome!” as Cassidy, Christian and The Bucks climb the corners. Connors runs up on Cope, but Cope snatches him into a facelock!
Cope acts as air traffic control as he coordinates everyone, QUADRUPLE MACHO ELBOWS before an IMPALER!! Cover, TWO!! Connors survives and the fans can’t believe it! Ciampa and Finlay get up, The Bucks BLAST them, then DIVE! Down they go at ramp side, then Christian and Cassidy bump into each other. The fans cheer “A E DUB! A E DUB!” for making this the opener! Cassidy puts his hands up, but Christian stops him. Christian shakes his head, but then Cassidy makes Christian put his hands in his pockets! The fans fire up as Christian just THROWS Cassidy out onto FTR! Christian then goes up, up, and SUPER CROSSBODIES The Dogs!
Cope calls out a shot, runs, but into a SHATTER MACHINE!! FTR snatches Cope outta nowhere, Connors makes the cover, but Cassidy breaks it! The fans fire up as now FTR has Cassidy surrounded. But Cassidy “unleashes” his kicks! The fans go nuts with every shot, but FTR shoves Cassidy! SHATTER- DOUBLE SUPERKICKS on Cash! Cassidy fights free of Dax, but Dax blocks Nick’s Superkick! Dax sends it into Matt! Nick SUPERKICKS through after all! Finlay clinches, IRISH CURSE BACKBREAKER on Nick! Matt feints the kick to DDT! But then Ciampa KNEES Matt down! Christian chicken wings Ciampa, turns him around, KILLSWITCH!
Connors JEEP FLIPS Christian! Connors then stalks Cope while the fans boo. Connors lines up a shot, Cope rises to his feet, Connors runs in! But Cope jumps over Connors’ spear, sending it into Dax! The fans fire up, Stoke freaks out, and The Bucks join Cope in the ring. They TRIPLE SUPERKICK Connors! Cassidy is in, ORANGE PUNCH! SPEAR from Cope!! Cover, C&C Conglomeration Bucks win!

Another star-studded 10 Man Tag, and it was a huge win for all the hungry contenders. Christian doesn’t wanna celebrate, but he does signal that he and Cope will be champions. Will putting their tag team legacy on the line be enough to take the gold? Or will Double or Nothing be the last night that team reeks of awesomeness?
Will Ospreay continues to train with The Death Riders.
They’re outside this time, Claudio Castagnoli playing some wall ball with Marina Shafir and Pac. Daniel Garcia says, “Tonight is the night that we’ve all been waiting for: The Aerial Assassin, Will Ospreay, is cleared and back on Dynamite. And rumor has it, the kid’s been working real hard and he’s got some new tricks up his sleeves. So Young Boy Billy, tonight you gotta show me something, c’mon.” Garcia gets a quick turn in on wall ball while cameras move over. Ospreay is maintaining a neck bridge while Jon Moxley uses Wheeler Yuta as a living dummy to show just how to push and pull and bend and twist on the various chinlocks and headlocks.
Use the right arm to push against the head, then snake in the left arm for the sleeper. Pry and shoot. Moxley asks how Ospreay feels. Ospreay lets off the bridge and says honestly, the best he’s felt in forever. Moxley asks if Ospreay remembers the night he won the Best of the Super Juniors. Yeah, 2019. AKA a lifetime ago. Ospreay was carefree, flew like a bird, for no other reason than that’s just what birds do. So simple back then, chasing that feeling, like no other feeling in the world. Can’t really grab it in your hands for more than a few seconds. The joy of doing it. Then everybody comes in and tries to make it so overcomplicated.
Years pass, life happens, a family starts, responsibilities show up, bad things happen, bad choices catch up to you, and it’s all weight on your shoulders. You feel like you can’t fly. But Moxley will tell you something: Nothing is different. Nothing has changed. All those things are still gonna be there, but you can still fly. You’re just more dangerous now. You’re a bird of prey. So tonight, when you got out there, don’t go out there to protect anything. Not your neck, your image, your reputation, or what you’ve built in your career. Go out there to give something. Moxley checks on Yuta and says dammit, if you’re gonna snap a headlock, snap the headlock!
Moxley storms off to instruct his pupil, but will Ospreay use everything he has been taught to great effect? Or will he have to fold against Ace Austin?
Chris Jericho speaks.
“You wanna face Jericho in a match of my own design, Ricochet? A spectacle so innovative, so imaginative, it cannot be contained, it can only be witnessed. Well, be careful what you demand, because you’ve made a few enemies yourself, Ricochet. And now a match designed specifically to settle scores without any, and I mean AAANY~, limitations has gotten even bigger.” Chris Jericho & The Hurt Syndicate were just looking for two more, but “Jungle” Jack Perry said he can bring four: himself, The Young Bucks, and KENNY OMEGA! Jericho tells Ricochet that this is no longer what he designed, but it is a devil’s dance of destruction! Ricochet’s destruction!

They stand with Mark Davis of the Don Callis Family and Ricochet says we all know Jericho does a lot of talking out of his ass while The Demand gets things done. Just like Davis did when he defeated Jack for the AEW National Championship at Fairway to Hell. Hold it with pride, Davis, Ricochet knows you’ll do it well. Davis says he’s got this. Ricochet says Davis has joined the dream team, but he’s not the only one. Because compliments to Ricochet’s golfing buddy, Don Callis, look who else he’s sending: Andrade El Idolo! Gracias, amigo. But it doesn’t stop there, the train keeps rolling. Ricochet was just approached by two guys who have an ax to grind with the superkick sidekicks.
These two wanna fill out the last two spots, so who is Ricochet to say no to The Dogs? Finlay & Connors storm in, and Finlay says to put it simple, they will fight The Bucks in the streets, in the ring, but guess it’s fighting at Double or Nothing! If they want violence, if they want carnage, if they want chaos, who better than The Dogs?! The Dogs bark and Liona roars, but will these seven stand tall in the Big Apple?

JetSpeed has a lot of momentum on their side, and as stated last week at Fairway to Hell, they’re looking to grab up all the gold they can. Will Speedball keep on rolling towards his own golden opportunity? Or will #Supastud prove his own worth?
The bell rings and the fans rally as the two step up. Bailey bows in respect, offers a handshake, but Westbrook goes to roll Bailey up! Bailey stays on his feet, then steps over to sit down on a cover, TWO! Westbrook ducks a Penalty Kick, avoids the moonsault, and the sweep! Bailey dodges, Westbrook tiger feints through the ropes, but Bailey handsprings up and over! The fans fire up as Bailey ducks an elbow to whip. Westbrook goes up, around, but kinda fumbles his tumble. The fans cheer and jeer him for his attempt, but Westbrook blocks the boot! Westbrook FLIPS Bailey, springboards in, but Bailey dodges! TIME ADVENTURE!
Bailey pushes Westbrook down, goes up the corner, and the fans fire up for the ULTIMATE WEAPON! Cover, Bailey wins!

The fans cheer as Cage eggs Knight on. Knight urns, leaps, but into Cage’s arms! Cage uses Knight to do curls, then THROWS knight! Knight lands out, RAMS Cage, but Cage comes back! Knight RAMS Cage again, but it’s still not enough! Knight tries a bigger SHOULDER TACKLE, but Cage stays standing! Knight runs one more time, ducks ‘n’ dodges, SATELLITE- NO, Cage stops the DDT! Cage THROWS Knight away!
Knight staggers, Cage SUPERKICKS him down! “Who betta than Cage?!” The fans fire up as Cage storms up on Knight, stands him up, and bumps him off buckles. Cage RAMS into Knight, stands him up, then RAMS again! The ref counts, Cage CHOPS, and the fans cheer. Bailey rallies the fans but Archer coaches Cage, and Cage whips Knight hard into the corner! The fans are torn as Cage hauls Knight up. Cage ROCKS Knight, CHOPS him, then CHOKES him on the ropes! The ref counts, Cage stops at 4, then Cage stalks Knight. Cage stands Knight up, whips him to the corner, then runs in, only for Knight to BOOT! Cage still LARIATS!
Cage hauls Knight up, whips him to ropes, but Knight grabs ropes. Knight DUMPS Cage out, then DROPKICKS him down! Cage sputters, the fans fire up, and Knight builds speed to DIVE! But he bounces off Cage! Cage then fireman’s carries, APRON F5! Knight sputters but Cage goes up the steps to soak up cheers and jeers, all while Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Cage refreshes the ring count, drags Knight up again, and hits an APRON BACK SUPLEX! Knight writhes, Cage refreshes the count again, then he whips Knight into barriers! Knight practically falls into the laps of the front row! But Cage brings Knight around to CHOP him down! Cage soaks up the cheers and jeers before he brings Knight around again. Cage SMACKS Knight off the apron, then puts him in the ring. Cage storms into the ring, drags Knight by his legs, and ties the legs up into a TEXAS CLOVERLEAF! Knight endures as Cage sits deep! Knight powers up, fights his way forward, and he reaches to the ROPEBREAK!
The ref counts, Cage lets go at 4, but Cage brings Knight up. Knight CHOPS, CHOPS, and CHOPS, but Cage still doesn’t back down. Knight fires more shots, but Cage UPPERCUTS him down! Cage digs his boot into Knight at the corner, but he stops as the ref counts. Cage drags Knight up, puts him in a corner, and LARIATS! Cage wrenches to then SAIDO Knight away! Knight flounders to the apron, Cage soaks up more cheers and jeers, and Dynamite returns to single picture. Knight rises to fire forearms on Cage, but Cage ROCKS Knight in return! Cage slingshots Knight into a facelock, for a SPIRALING SUPLEX! Cover, TWO!
Knight survives and Cage is frustrated, but Cage decides to write Knight off. Cage drags Knight up, reels him in, and suplexes, DRILL- NO, Knight slips free to waistlock. AEW reveals the Men’s Owen Hart Memorial Tournament Brackets!
This year’s tournaments will go through Double or Nothing, and the finals will coincide with Forbidden Door 2026 on Sunday, June 28th in San Jose, California! The winner of each tournament will then challenge for THE AEW World Championship and AEW Women’s World Championships on August 30th at All In: London! And so, for the opening round, it will be: “Jungle” Jack Perry VS Mark Davis; Claudio Castagnoli VS Brody King; then Double or Nothing has both Samoa Joe VS Will Ospreay, and Swerve Strickland VS Bandido!

We’ve seen the Aerial Assassin training with The Death Riders, he’s won gold with his old friends in The United Empire, and now he’s about to face a dangerous man at Double or Nothing. Will Ospreay be more than ready for Samoa Joe after tonight? Or will he fail to even get past The Inevitable?
The bell rings and the fans cheer Ospreay as he stares down with Ace. Ospreay offers a handshake, Ace accepts, and the fans cheer the sportsmanship. They circle, tie up, and Ospreay wrenches to wristlock. Ace rolls, handsprings, and wrenches, but Ospreay rolls, kips up, and wrenches back. Ospreay hammerlocks, Ace rolls to kip up and wrench to then armlock. Ospreay endures the grind, fights around, and he arm-drags Ace down. Ace endures, fights around, and rises up. Ace shoots through to waistlock but Ospreay switches. Ospreay hits the headlock takeover, Ace headscissors, but Ospreay kips free.
The fans cheer the standoff, and the two reset. They feel things out, knuckle lock, and go shoulder to shoulder in a Test of Strength. The fans rally as Ace pushes Ospreay back. Ace has Ospreay down for a knuckle lock cover, ONE as Ospreay gets his arm up. Ace pushes it down, cover, ONE as Ospreay gets the other arm up. Ace tries again, ONE as Ospreay bridges! The fans fire up as Ace shuffles the deck, and runs up for the0 NO, Ospreay BACKDROPS Ace, but Ace lands on his feet! HIDDEN BLADE!! Ospreay isn’t done with just one, he aims from the corner and… Ace flops over! The fans boo but Ospreay shows no mercy. He just runs up to PENALTY KICK the bad arm! Then a FLYING ARMBAR TAKEDOWN!! Ace TAPS, Ospreay wins!!

That might’ve been Ospreay’s first win by submission ever! He signals that his neck is no longer a problem, and he shows Ace respect for that fight. Ace accepts the handshake again, and Ospreay is moving on towards Double or Nothing with a great amount of momentum. But wait! SAMOA JOE is here! He and The Opps walk out on stage, and with mic in hand, Joe says, “Ospreay, Ospreay… OSPREAY, OSPREAY!” Joe is clearly mocking the chants for Ospreay, and the fans give genuine chanting and even singing in return. Joe says he just wanted to make sure Ospreay was listening, because these past few weeks, it seemed like Ospreay had a hard time hearing him.
Despite Ospreay’s best efforts, fate has put them on a collision course in the opening round of the Owen Hart Cup. The fans like the sound of that! Joe say she is here for one reason and one reason alone. He wants to speak about choices and consequences. Ospreay could’ve made the right choice and get a bye in this tournament, because that is what Joe would do for one of his friends. But Ospreay chose poorly. He could’ve been with the team that would do nothing but support and enhance Ospreay, but he decided to be a lapdog for Moxley and the Death Riders. The fans boo, Ospreay says he’s not a Death Rider.
Joe says Ospreay has made his choice, and come Double or Nothing, Joe makes Ospreay suffer the consequences. But Joe leaves Ospreay in peace tonight, for he has his date with destiny. But unfortunately, Joe’s friends, Katsuyori Shibata & Anthony Bowens, still feel slighted, and he doesn’t put leashes on his friends. Shibata & Bowens storm down the ramp, Ospreay ready to fight them both if he has to. But then The Death Riders appear! Ospreay may not have officially joined the club, but the Death Riders aren’t going to let their investment go to waste! The Opps say they’re #NeverLacking, but that doesn’t seem to be the case now!
Shibata & Bowens back down while Moxley, Marina, Claudio, Yuta, Garcia & Pac all step up to support Ospreay. Joe says, “Soon. Soon.” The fans cheer the Death Riders, or at least Moxley, but Bowens promises Joe is gonna kill you, Ospreay! The dream match for Double or Nothing is on, but will the training with The Death Riders make Ospreay the new King of Harts?

Konosuke could be heading into Double or Nothing as a- Callis stops Renee there to say Konosuke will be heading into Double or Nothing as a DOUBLE champion! But then MJF steps in, apologizes for the interruption but says Renee’s doing a great job. The Scumbag tells Konosuke that while it’s been a minute since the two of them have talked, three years actually, back when MJF beat him… MJF has seen Konosuke develop into truly one of the best wrestlers in the world!
MJF believes that tonight, Konosuke beats Darby for the title, goes to DON to beat Okada, and MJF can’t think of a better match than Konosuke VS MJF Part 2 for the world title. How’s that sound? MJF offers a handshake, Konosuke shakes his hand, but in Japanese, Konosuke tells MJF that he’ll beat the crap out of him. Thankfully, MJF doesn’t know Japanese. Callis says that was a nice pep talk MJF just gave, and MJF says yes, he knows. That kid needs to win, okay? MJF can’t let Darby turn him into some disgusting, bald freak! No offense, Callis looks great. But look, there is only one foolproof way to know MJF won’t be put in that situation.
So if things get hairy… MJF hands over the Dynamite Diamond Ring! Callis smiles, and say she understands what to do with it. But then in steps Andrade. El Idolo takes off his hat to shake out his amazing head of hair, and smiles at MJF. MJF frowns and leaves. Callis says here’s the deal: Takeshita will bring the world title home to the Don Callis Family tonight! Andrade asks, “How you know?” Callis says aye dios mio, he seriously doesn’t know where Andrade learned English. Andrade says one way or another, the next time, that will be HIS title. Callis says yes, he knows, it’s all good. Callis is a man of many talents, but will his family be dripping with gold thanks to a diamond ring?

Double or Nothing will see Willow Nightingale, the reigning Queen of Harts, take on Alex Windsor, while we will see Persephone VS Hazuki, Skye Blue vs Sareee, and Mina Shirakawa VS Athena! Champions from around the world are gathering for this tournament, but who will be headed to Forbidden Door, and then All In: London?

Renee Paquette is now with Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong, and Willow Nightingale. Renee commends Cassidy on his part in the 10 Man Tag victory. But it seems that there is even more business to attend to. Cassidy says yes, the team has a shot at THE AEW World Tag Team Championships. It doesn’t matter who it is, they’re getting their shot, but the thing is… They still haven’t decided on which two will be. Kyle says Cassidy & Roddy should go for the gold, but Roddy shouts, “KYYYLE~! Thank you.” Kyle says of course. But that’s cuz he’s got gold to chase for himself!
The same man that put Kyle on the shelf for months is the man that Kyle submitted twice, and will submit again. Jon Moxley, Continental Champion, when are we doing this? Willow says speaking of gold, she is still the TBS Champion. But she is also in the Owen Hart Cup. She won this tournament before, she’ll do it all over again, so that she can have all the gold for herself at All In: London. She knows she can, and she will! Then Conglomeration has it all in order? Cassidy says hold on, there’s something missing. They should do a Word of the Day. Why haven’t they done one in so long? Roddy shouts for “MAAARK~!” And yes, Mark Briscoe returns!

But he’ll put this plain and simple: Tommaso Ciampa! Next Wednesday, Briscoe’s after your ass, son! You hear him? But before that, Saturday Night Collision is in HIS hometown, Salisbury, Maryland! That’s just 4.4 miles from where Briscoe originated on this earth! They’re gonna conglomerate and it’s gonna be a a hell of a time! Are you ready!? Willow and Kyle are fired up, Briscoe goes wild, and the team heads out. Cassidy admits, that was a lot of yelling.

With the news of both the AEW Women’s World Championship Fatal 4 Way for Double or Nothing, and the Owen Hart Cup brackets, this trios match is about much more than just settling scores! Will the Shining Samurai be just as sharp as Jamie Hayter going into that title match? Or will Thekla, Skye Blue & Julia Hart continue to bring them down by any means necessary?
The trios sort out and Jamie steps up against Thekla as both a rematch from their 1v1 title match, and a preview of what’s to come in the next. They circle, but then Skye CLOBBERS Jamie! Julia steps in, but so do Shida and Windsor! The Triangle throws hands on Shida & The Birds, then triple whip. But all three reverse, a BOOT for Thekla, a DDT for Skye, and a BACKBREAKER for Julia! The fans cheer as The Triangle bails out! Shida goes out to keep after Skye while Windsor goes after Julia. Jamie gets Thekla back in the ring while Shida and Windsor have the Sisters of Sin in the corners of the barriers. The fans cheer as they all rain down fists!

Skye and Windsor trade shots, they wobble a bit, then Skye DECKS Windsor! Skye keeps from falling into the crowd, but Jamie gets her! Thekla stomps Windsor, CLUBS Jamie, then helps Skye. But Shida runs up, only for Thekla to ELBOW her down! The Triangle has control again, they ROCK Jamie and Shida and Windsor, then send them all to the desk. The Triangle CHOP again and again and again! Then they wind up, but feint chops to SMACK all three off the apron! The Triangle soaks up the cheers and jeers before putting Jamie back in the ring. Thekla brings Jamie up, snapmares her down, then basement SUPERKICKS! Cocky cover, TWO! Thekla drags Jamie to the corner, tags Julia, and Julia runs up to LARIAT! Then she goes side to side to ELBOW Jamie down!
Julia snapmares Jamie to a cover, TWO! Julia is annoyed but she rains down fists. The ref reprimands, Julia stops, but then she sucker punches Windsor! And Shida, too! Skye runs up to DOUBLE SHOTGUN The Birds! The fans are torn but Thekla says that’s how the Triangle does it, baby! Thekla then aims to MISSILE- NO, Jamie gest under! Thekla lands out, but Jamie BOOTS her down! Jamie looks at Shida, Shida is hesitant, but Shida tags in! The fans cheer as Shida sends Theknla to the corner, then JUMP KNEES! Julia storms in but Shida kicks her and whips her into Thekla! Shida KNEES them both in the corner! The ref stops Thekla from sing the title belt again, so Thekla just takes off her own belt! And she LASHES Windsor while Skye holds her down! More refs rush out here, but Julia MISTS the newbie in the face! Julia stomps away on Jamie, not caring about fines or consequences, either! The fans boo, and Shida is bailing on the Birds? Shida cares more about her chances in that Fatal 4 Way than anything else. But then Willow, Mina, and even Thunder Rosa rush out here! They chase The Triangle off with belts of their own!
The fans cheer as The Babe, the Fighting Gravure Idol & La Mera Mera save the day. But will Jamie make sure Thekla and Shida pay for this at Double or Nothing?
AEW World Championship: Darby Allin VS Konosuke Takeshita!
They say “card subject to change,” and that is true even for the best in the world. Kazuchika Okada’s real family takes priority, but his Don Callis Family brother was more than happy to step up for this opportunity. Will The Alpha already have two belts by the time he and The Rainmaker battle over the International Championship? Or will Darby truly be relentless in his pursuit of being the best fighting champion in AEW history?
The introductions are made, THE belt is raised, and we see who goes to Double or Nothing on top!
Callis joins commentary to say that while Darby’s been breaking his own body, Konosuke has perfected “rejuvenation training,” aka relaxing on a beach and sipping sake! The bell rings, and Darby SHOTGUNS Konosuke out! Then Darby DIVES, but Konosuke catches him! Konosuke POSTS Darby, then THROWS him into railing! Konosuke THROWS Darby into the ring, the fans fire up for both guys, and Konosuke hurries to BOOT Darby off the apron! Darby falls in front of commentary but Konosuke gets him right back in the ring. Cover, ONE!! The fans rally as Darby shows his grit, but Konosuke snarls.
Konosuke drags Darby up, Darby fires forearms, but the ALPHA ELBOW knocks Darby down! The fans fire up while Konosuke looms over Darby. Konosuke stands Darby up, and THROWS him into a corner! Darby bounces off the buckles and is bleeding from the mouth already! Konosuke stands Darby up, hoists him up top, then he climbs up after him. But Darby BITES Konosuke, CLUBS him down, and leaps for a CROSSBODY, but he bounces off Konosuke! The fans fire up again as Konosuke whips Darby for a BACKDROP! Darby got serious hangtime there, and he flounders out of the ring. Darby coughs and sputters but the fans rally up.
Konosuke goes out after Darby but Darby SMACKS him! Konosuke KNEES low, KNEES him again and again and again! Konosuke KNEES Darby against the barriers, then refreshes the count. Konosuke whips Darby hard into railing! Darby sputters as he leans against the railing, but Konosuke positions the steel steps. Konosuke then fetches Darby, lines up a shot, but Darby fights the suplex! Darby CLAWS Konosuke’s back, then fires a shot. Konosuke DECKS Darby in return! Darby slumps against the steps, Konosuke runs up, but Darby dodges! Konosuke’s knees hit the steps and he tumbles over! Darby then runs up the steps to SHOTGUN Konosuke down!
The fans fire up while both men are down on the floor! Konosuke checks his knee before he crawls around, and Darby gets in the ring so he can build speed! Darby DIVES! Direct hit on Konosuke but Darby’s the one who hits the desk! The fans fire up while both men are down again, but Darby rises up to get Konosuke on the apron! Darby fires forearms, then goes up a corner! COFFIN- NO, Konosuke catches him for a SUPER BLUE THUNDER BOMB to the floor!! The fans go nuts again and Callis says that’s the end of Darby Allin, but Dynamite goes picture in picture.
The ref hurries to check Darby but Callis tells Doc Sampson to call it. Darby is somehow still in this, so Konosuke storms his way over. Konosuke drags Darby up, puts him in the ring, then paces around him. Konosuke runs the ropes to LARIAT! Darby flips inside-out, Konosuke covers him, TWO!! Darby still has fight inside but he’s also dazed. Konosuke clamps onto Darby with a chinlock and squeezes tight. Darby endures, even as Konosuke leans on him with his much-taller frame. Darby reaches out, fights around, and rises up, only for Konosuke to CANADIAN RACK BOMB! Darby sputters all over again while Dynamite returns to single picture.
Konosuke sits back as he watches Darby crawl to the apron. Konosuke storms his way over, but Darby RAMS low! Slingshot sunset flip, but Konosuke rolls through! Only for Darby to kick the legs out! Darby catches Konosuke to a GUILLOTINE! Konosuke endures the squeeze, fights up to his feet, and he powers out to THROW Darby! Darby lands out, fires shots, and RAMS low! Darby then hops on, but Konosuke stops Code Red! Konosuke swings Darby around, tucks him in, BASTARD DRIVER! And WHEELBARROW GERMAN! The fans fire up and Callis says that’s true power! Darby sputters again and Konosuke vows to end this.
Konosuke runs corner to corner, HELLUVA KICK!! Then he hoists Darby up top, climbs up after him, and goes to the very top! The fans freak out already for the SUPER DUPER GERMAN SUPLEX!! Bridging cover, TWO!!! Callis is freaking out as much as the fans, and he protests the count! Konosuke is furious, but he aims for the WAGAMAMA KNEE!!! Cover, TWO?!?! Darby survives by nanoseconds, and Konosuke is beside himself! “This is Awesome!” but now CLØN rushes out here! He distracts the ref, and Callis hurries to take the Dynamite Diamond Ring off his finger to put it in Konosuke’s hands! Konosuke thinks about it, but The Alpha has honor!
The fans cheer as Konosuke wants to do this his way! But then Darby runs up, cradles, TWO!! Konosuke escapes, ALPHA ELBOW!! Darby is down, dazed, but still moving! Konosuke drags Darby up again, goes back to the corner and back to the top rope. The fans hope these two “FIGHT FOREVER!” but it has to end somehow! Darby fights against the lift with headlock punches! Then he hops on, SUPER CODE RED!! Konosuke staggers up, Darby leg scissors, steps through, LAST SUPPER!! TWO?!?! Konosuke escapes again, then bails out! So Darby just goes up top! SUPER COFFIN DROP!! Direct hit and both men are down again!
The fans are thunderous as Konosuke and Darby stir. A ring count climbs, Callis complains that some people just gotta follow directions and run the play! Coach Callis pulled Konosuke outta obscurity, Konosuke would do anything! Now he’s got some gold, some fame, and gets a mind of his own! Callis complaining aside, the ring count is climbing! Darby drags himself in at 9, but Konosuke YANKS him back out! That refreshes the count, and Konosuke vows to end this for real now. Konosuke points to the steel steps, and he drags Darby up onto them with a deadlift RAGING- NO, Darby knees Konosuke, turns things around, and FULL METAL SCORPION DEATH DROP!!!
The fans go nuts again while Konosuke writhes! Konosuke flops off the steps, Darby crawls into the ring, and Darby just climbs the corner again! SUPER DUPER COFFIN DROP!!! Konosuke might be unconscious! Darby still hauls Konosuke into the ring, pushes him to a cover, TWO?!?!? Konosuke survives and Darby is furious! But Darby just reloads, COFFIN DROP but onto knees!!! Ghost pin, TWO!!! Darby escapes but the WAGAMAMA KNEE finds him!! Konosuke hauls Darby up, but Darby pops free! Trip, step through, and SCORPION DEATH LOCK!!! Konosuke endures, reaches out, but Darby sits deep!!
Callis says don’t even think about it! Konosuke almost does, but he bites his own thumb to ignore the pain in his back! Konosuke reaches out, crawls his way forward, and he fights to the ROPEBREAK!!! But Darby is right up top! COFFION DROP on the back!! Then Darby goes right back up, COFFIN DROP again!!! Cover, DARBY WINS!!
Winner: Darby Allin, by pinfall (still AEW World Champion)
Callis is steaming, but Darby overcomes Konosuke to avenge that loss in the Continental Classic! But it also took so much out of him just to do it! Darby still asks for a mic and one is brought to him. Darby sits up against the ropes, has them cut his music, and he tells MJF to get his ass out here! There’s a contract MJF needs to sign! The ring crew hurries to bring in a table and some chairs for that very contract signing, and MJF makes his entrance. MJF reluctantly makes his way down the ramp, and both men meet at the table. Darby grins with blood still in hiss teeth, and he signs his part of the contract without hesitation, unlike MJF.
The fans already chant “BALD! BALD! BALD!” at MJF, and Darby pushes the contract to his side of the table. MJF grabs the pen, reaches out, but then steps away. MJF scratches his chin as he thinks on this, and the fans just chant, “BALD! BALD! BALD!” again. MJF takes a mic to say he’ll explain something to Darby, looking like he has rabies. But see, MJF is happy for Darby, he hopes Darby’s had fun holding MJF’s AEW World Championship. The fans boo that, but MJF says deep down, there is a small part of him, like the size of a North Carolinian p*nis small. That small part of MJF feels bad for Darby, because he’ll never hold this again!
Darby’s got about a good a chance of holding this title as Hangman Adam Page does again. MJF says guys like Darby are a dime a dozen, here today and gone tomorrow, stuntmen who burn the candle at both ends. In this life, people like all these fans here like to pretend that life is about making friends and family and children. The only thing that matters in life is your legacy. And Darby’s legacy will be that of the kid who had his 15 minutes of fame. They’ll pretend like Darby made a lasting impact, but the fact of the matter is, he hasn’t. He hasn’t! They’ll know deep down that Darby Allin was just a little pr*ck who got lucky.
They’ll know that Darby was too reckless and stupid to stay on top. And after May 24th, Double or Nothing, in that sh*thole of Queens, New York, y’know what MJF’s legacy will be? He’ll go down as the guy who became a THREE-TIME World Champion at just 30 years of age, unprecedented in this sport. And MJF will go down, when it’s all said and done, as the Greatest of All Time! THAT is the difference between them! Darby Allin brags about climbing a mountaintop. But when it comes to professional wrestling, Maxwell Jacob Friedman IS the mountaintop! The fans boo but MJF soaks it up. Darby tells MJF to SHUT UP!
Only someone like MJF who is so vain would think that the number one most important thing in this world is his legacy. Darby doesn’t care about legacy, he cares about living in the moment! And in this moment, Darby just wants MJF to sign the contract. Then at Double or Nothing, Darby makes Maxwell Jacob Friedman a BALLD HEADED B*TCH!! MJF frowns but the fans cheer that! MJF grabs the pen again, and with no choice, he signs on the dotted line! Then he TACKLES Darby! The fans boo as MJF beats up Darby after the war he went through with Konosuke! MJF CHUCKS an armchair outta the ring, FLIPS the table, then picks up his Dynamite Diamond Ring.
MJF puts the ring on his finger like always, then winds up to DECK Darby!! The fans boo but MJF just soaks it all up. MJF throws off his jacket, picks up the belt, and he stands over Darby with it. But then MJF isn’t done with Darby, he puts Darby on the top rope! MJF climbs up to join him, and drags Darby into position! But wait! Kevin Knight runs out here to chase MJF off! The Jet still owes The Scumbag a receipt, but it seems we’ll all have to wait on that. Will MJF still take back the title at Double or Nothing? Or will Darby keep the belt and take MJF’s dignity?
My Thoughts:
An awesome episode for Dynamite as things heat up towards Double or Nothing. Awesome 10 Man Tag to open, great win for the Faces, not that it added much to FTR VS C&C. Good promo from Jericho to look back on Stadium Stampede and hype up this year’s match. Good promo from The Demand with Davis and The Dogs, and I suppose this maximizes the feuds as well as the alliances throughout the locker room. Who knows who wins but the match will still be awesome, just as the original was. Good promo from Conglomeration, too, Cassidy & Roddy going after FTR while Kyle VS Moxley happens on the side, that’s great stuff.
Speaking of Moxley, great promo from him and Ospreay. Moxley’s semi-turn has really brought out his sage philosophical side. Great match from Ospreay VS Ace, and while Ospreay could always bring out his aggression, seeing him use more technical wrestling and even winning with a submission is good stuff. Good promo from Joe, and I liked Death Riders backing Ospreay up. Very good Owen Hart Cup brackets this year, Joe VS Ospreay is a great choice given this story, but I would think Ospreay wins that one. Good promo from Jack Perry to call out Davis, and I suppose Jack can win in the Owen Cup to then move on from the National title.
Great seeing Brian Cage back, he gave Knight an awesome match, but with JetSpeed wanting to go on a Two Man Power Trip, it makes sense Kevin won out. Same for Bailey beating Westbrook, even though Westbrook maybe went too hard on his own acrobatic escape. Great stuff in the Six Woman Tag, and I appreciate Shida didn’t ditch until after the match. Willow, Mina & Rosa might get their own Six Woman Tag with Triangle of Madness after that interaction, but also can’t wait to see if Willow can go back-to-back as Queen of Harts. For that matter, I personally would love to see Athena use the Owen Cup to move on from being ROH Women’s World Champion, but that depends on how Supercard of Honor goes this Friday.
And of course, another wild instant classic from Darby as he overcomes Takeshita. I knew the diamond ring would come into play with that reverse effect, good way of protecting Takeshita in the loss. Good stuff with MJF tonight, too, such as the opening segment’s parade of bald men to send the message to MJF. That was also a unique contract signing segment in that it came together so quickly after the main event match. Good stuff from MJF as always, and of course he attacks Darby. I feel like either Knight should not have made the save, or both parts of JetSpeed should’ve made the save. It just seems odd that only Knight cared about saving Darby. The closing moment was much better when it was MJF standing over Darby with the belt.
