Southaven is torn as the Wolf of Wrestling makes his way out after having shown his true colors last Wednesday Night Dynamite. MJF is back to wearing suits and scarves, and he already has a mic as he steps into the ring. The boos are louder than the cheers, and MJF says he knows everyone in this building is inbred and incredibly stupid, but he’d appreciate it that while he was talking, they unlike their mothers on their knees in a truck stop bathroom, would all kept their mouths shut. The fans boo but MJF tells Daniel Garcia, “You are nothing more than a pawn. You really thought MJF, the biggest star in AEW, you thought I was gonna give you a match at All In?
“No, man. That match was never gonna happen. I was always going to stab you in the back and break your scrawny little neck. And I’ll explain why later, but I gotta be honest with you, Danny. During this ruse, there was something you did that offended me. Let’s keep it real here, Danny, you’re a Make-A-Wish kid at best. And I was trying to grant you the greatest wish of them all. Was it real? No. But you didn’t know that. I offered you a match at Wembley Stadium against, let’s face it, the greatest wrestler who’s ever lived, and you didn’t answer. Well, Danny, after what I did to you, you ain’t gonna make it to All In. Hell, you’re never gonna wrestle again.
“But I’m not here to talk to Danny Garcia. I’m here to talk to you… Roll the clip.” MJF has production show on the tron, Dynamite on August 2nd, 2023. It was the time MJF explained ADHD came along with Rejection Sensitivity Disorder. MJF cannot regulate rejection based emotions and behaviors. And there was one thing he still remembers to this day, the incident of those bullies throwing quarters at him and calling him “Jew Boy.” MJF told himself that day that to survive in a world of scumbags, he had to become the worst scumbag of them all, and that he would betray others before they could betray him.
MJF back then said being a scumbag was easy. What was hard was being vulnerable. He knew if he opened himself up to be “Max,” and then got booed, it’d kill him being that little kid being bullied. But MJF also said he wasn’t afraid anymore! The fans cheered for him then, but MJF now gets boos. This MJF says he opened up to the fans, told us all that if they turned on him, it’d tear his heart out, and they didn’t give a damn! MJF did everything for the fans! He changed for the fans! He let his guard down and became friends with Adam Cole, he broke his body down, all for the fans! And how did they repay MJF?
After MJF’s best friend stabs him in the back, after Samoa Joe steals “Triple B,” MJF is writhing in pain at home, and he turns on Dynamite after World’s End. What do the fans do? They chanted “Thank You, Joe!” The fans chant for “JOE! JOE! JOE!” now. MJF says he was in physical therapy, trying to get function back in his arms, the fans discarded him for guys like Swerve, Okada, “and worst of all… that talentless hack, Will Ospreay!” MJF says what he did to Garcia wasn’t personal between the two of them. It was personal between MJF and the fans! And Garcia was just the beginning. MJF will take away everything we love, because everything we love SUCKS!
The fans boo but MJF says the fans have ruined the company MJF has built from the ground up with their garbage taste. MJF will fix AEW, and the only way to do that is with MJF on top! But no, the fans want Will Ospreay, don’t they? Yeah, they like Ospreay? The fans cheer, but MJF says the fans are too delusional to realize it, but Ospreay can’t help AEW like MJF can. Ospreay is a child! He doesn’t care about ticket sales, about making money. All Ospreay cares about is putting on good matches. Gasp, what a novel concept. The only ratings Ospreay cares about are those stars from Meltzer.
MJF is a grown ass man, and the ratings he cares about come from a guy named Nielsen! And so here’s an idea, Will! Let’s pop a number right here, right now! MJF will get medieval on you, bruv! Ospreay is “The Billy Goat?” Then how about MJF sacrifices him like one? No response and MJF says he knew it. But then surprise! Ospreay’s music hits now! Only for it to NOT be Ospreay. MJF says Ospreay is not coming because he is a two-faced, fickle, gutless coward. “Just like you.” This is Maxwell Jacob- NO, fans, you had your chance, shut your mouths! He is MJF, and you can thank him later. The Scumbag has gotten even worse, but will Ospreay take him out once and for all?

Lexy Nair is with Kyle O’Reilly, Mark Briscoe & Orange Cassidy and asks if they have any last words before their match tonight? Kyle says after Forbidden Door, he is bummed out. Mark says he ain’t bummed. Is Orange bummed out? Why? Cuz none of them won at Forbidden Door? Well, the word of the day is “Epiphany,” because Mark had one. Failure is just a figment of your imagination! It is just a stepping stone to the throne, a pitstop on the road to the top! They are in the shadow of one of the most historical cities in wrestling, Memphis, Tennessee! And The Conglomeration is about to put a historical ass kicking on The Iron Savages!
Mark says let’s get out there, pull their proverbial heads out of their proverbial asses and do this thing! The ROH World Champion is fired up, Kyle says he really knows how to pull a guy out of a dark abyss. Cassidy says he doesn’t care. He’s in a Pixies kinda mood, but will Freshly Squeezed, Violent Artist & Sussex County Chicken be feeling back on top after tonight?
Six Man Tag: The Conglomeration VS The Iron Savages!
Jacked Jameson tells the fat morons and skinny idiots to shut up! The Savages know the fans love these “Low T Losers” because they’re just like all of them. But these anorexic athletes don’t stand a chance! Mark Briscoe is the Chicken because his bones are brittle, and both Kyle and Cassidy look like they belong at the bottom of the evolutionary chart! These are the Iron Savages! Sippin’ sauce, livin’ hoss, and takin’ everyone to #TIDDYCITY! But as beefy and bulky as they are, will they be ready for a fired up force of nature?
The trios sort out and Kyle starts against Jameson, but then The Undisputed Kingdom shows up. Though, what did anyone expect with how Roderick Strong keeps thinking of himself as Kyle’s friend. Roddy, Taven & Bennett join commentary on stage, and Jameson says it is time to sip the sauce! He sips, then pumps up. Jameson and Kyle circle, Kyle KICKS, headlocks, and grinds the hold. Jameson powers out, Kyle RAMS him, but Jameson comes back to run Kyle over! Jameson goes for another sip, but Mark snatches the cup! Mark takes a CHUG, CHUG, CHUG! Mark is all fired up now! Mark CLOBBERS Jameson!
Bronson gets in, Mark dodges him and CLOBBERS Bronson! The fans fire up, Kyle sips, and Roddy says that’s not good, he has to watch his blood sugar. Kyle is all fire dup, he and Mark RAM Boulder! Boulder comes back to LARIAT Kyle, but Mark ENZIGIRIS! Bronson runs up, CLOBBERS Mark, but Kyle KICKS and KICKS and KICKS Bronson down! Boulder CLOBBERS Kyle, and then he warns Cassidy. Kyle CHOP BLOCKS Boulder, JAWBREAKERS Bronson, then runs Jameson gets a cheap shot in, so Kyle DECKS him! But then Boulder & Bronson CLOBBER Kyle! Boulder DECKS Mark, then Bronson runs to SENTON Kyle! Cover, TWO!
Bronson drags Kyle up, bumps him off buckles, then fires hands! The ref counts, Bronson short arm LARIATS! The Savages stand tall while Collision goes picture in picture.
The Savages soak up the heat and Bronson drags Kyle over. Tag to Jameson, the Savages mug Kyle, and Jameson RAMS into Kyle! Jameson throws elbows, stomps Kyle down, then tags Boulder. Boulder brings Kyle around to scoop and SLAM! Boulder soaks up heat, stomps around like an Earthquake, and then runs and SPLASHES down! Cover, TWO! Kyle stays in this but Boulder mocks Cassidy by putting hands in his “pockets.” Boulder kicks Kyle but Kyle fires strikes in return! Kyle runs, but Boulder runs him over! Boulder snarls, the fans rally up, but Boulder drags Kyle over. Boulder HIP DROPS Kyle, then tags in Bronson.
Bronson goes up the corner and he HIP DROPS Kyle, too! Tag to Jameson, and he flexes before he climbs. Jameson talks a lot of trash, then HIP DROPS onto knees! Collision returns to single picture with both men down and the fans rallying up! Kyle and Jameson crawl, hot tag to Bronson! Bronson grabs a leg, but Kyle hops forward, hot tag to Mark! Mark CHOPS and CHOPS and CHOPS Bronson! Boulder gets in but gets some REDNECK KUNG-FU! Bronson runs up but into a kick! Mark REDNECK KUNG-FU UPPERCUTS, then ROLLING ELBOWS! The fans fire up again, but Boulder kicks Mark.
Boulder flexes, whips, but Mark uses that to BOOT Jameson! Boulder runs in but Mark dodges! Boulder tumbles up and out! Mark reaches out for Cassidy, Cassidy doesn’t reach back, so Mark gives him a push. Cassidy gets fired up and he tags in! And he DIVES onto Jameson! Cassidy goes up and CROSSBODIES Bronson! Roddy isn’t impressed, but Cassidy keeps moving! Cassidy ducks ‘n’ dodges Boulder to tilt-o-whirl DDT! Cassidy kips up and the fans fire up. Roddy says that was impressive at least. Cassidy takes off his elbow pad, run sin, but Bronson catches him for a BEARHUG! Cassidy throws elbows to get free.
Bronson throws knees, snarls and shouts, “I’M GONNA BUST!” Bronson suplexes, but gets STUN DOG MILLIONAIRE! Cassidy keeps Bronson down so Mark can use him as a step, to FLY onto Boulder and Jameson! Kyle gets in, he and Cassidy FRESHLY SQUEEZED HIGH LOW! FLYING KNEE for Jameson, BLOCKBUSTER for Boulder! ORANGE PUNCH for Bronson! Cover, The Conglomeration wins!

Jack Perry speaks.

Because I didn’t realize just how great that cost would be. But as of tonight, I’m paid in full. Lexy Nair is with The Black Hat Cowboy, and brings up that his indefinite suspension was lifted so that he could be the Wild Card in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. The question on everyone’s mind would have to be then, “Why now?” Hangman repeats, “Why now?” Convenience. Not his, but theirs. The Elite didn’t care where Hangman was, how long he was gone, what was happening to him or his family. It didn’t matter, because the moment The Elite through they could use Hangman, they brought him back. But that isn’t why Hangman his here. Hangman says Lexy knows why, and Swerve knows why.
Hangman is going to burn through the rest of this tournament, he will go to Wembley Stadium, and he will right a wrong that should’ve ben handled a long time ago! Hangman swears to God, with his last breath, he will right this wrong, and BURN Swerve’s House to the ground! Lexy is very nervous as she says tonight, Hangman faces Jay White, who he has never defeated before. Hangman glares at Lexy, then storms off. Hangman is more than ready for a fight, will it be a real shootout between these Collision Cowboys?
Toni Storm w/ Mariah May & Luther VS Trish Adora w/ The Infantry!
While her protege is in the finals of the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, The Leading Lady is leading by example by getting back in action. Will Storm once again have the spotlight on “Colli-jon?” Or will the AfroPunk look to upstage the AEW Women’s World Champion?
The bell rings and the fans rally up. The two circle, put up their dukes, and tie up. They goa round, Storm headlocks but Adora endures the grind. Adora powers up and pops out the back to headlock in return. Storm pops out the back to headlock in return. Adora powers up and out then RAMS shoulders! Storm stays up and eggs Adora on. Adora runs to RAM Storm again! The fans cheer and Storm pumps up. Storm runs, Adora follows then runs Storm over! Adora salutes, runs, but Storm trips her! Oklahoma Roll, TWO! Adora has a cradle, TWO! Storm stands, Adora trips her, and then pulls a leg into a cradle, TWO!
Storm storms up but Adora Alabama Lifts her! And swings her around, into the AIR RAID STRETCH! Storm endures and the fans rally up! Storm fights, Adora lets her down and snapmares her, to then have a motorcycle stretch! Adora steps over, and she bounces on Storm’s head! Adora then turns around, claps and the fans rally. Adora hooks the legs to a sunset flip, TWO! Storm flounders up but Adora pumps up. Adora ROCKS Storm, whips her to ropes, but Storm SHOTGUNS Adora back! Adora goes to the apron, Storm runs and HIP ATTACKS her to the floor! The Infantry is there to coach Adora but Storm asks for a standing ovation.
The fans give the standing ovation, and Storm sends us to commercial, so Collision goes picture in picture.
Storm marches around the outside, still ordering ovations, and the fans gladly give Storm what she wants. Storm does a full lap around the ring, comes back for Adora, and Adora BOOTS Storm down! Carlie Bravo & Shawn Dean are all fired up, but Luther & Mariah storm up on them! That’s not exactly a fair fight, though it’s unclear who has the advantage. But then Mariah & Luther salute? The Infantry return it, and everyone stands down. Adora drags Storm up and into the ring, Storm goes to a corner, and Adora stomps her. Adora drags Storm up, reels her in, and snap suplexes! Bridging cover, TWO!
Storm flounders to a corner, Adora storms up on her, and Adora ROCKS Storm with a forearm. Storm goes to another corner, and Adora CHOPS! Storm falls and flounders, Adora stalks her, and the fans rally as Collision goes to break.
Collision returns, Adora runs corner to corner, but Storm goes up and over! Storm runs in, she blocks boots and puts Adora in ropes, to DRAPING BACKSTABBER! Then Storm FISHERMAN SUPLEXES! Bridging cover, TWO! Not quite perfect but Storm won’t stop! Adora shoves Storm away, runs, but so does Storm! Adora scoops Storm for a SWINGING BACKBREAKER! Both women are down and the fans rally up. Mariah is worried for Storm as Storm grits her teeth. Adora brings Storm up, but Storm fires a forearm! Adora gives that back, they go back and forth! Storm JABS, JABS and JABS! Storm winds up, but Adora ducks!
Adora BASEMENT GERMAN SUPLEXES! Bridging cover, TWO! Storm escapes, but Adora goes corner to corner. Storm trips Adora, Adora hits buckles, and then Storm comes in, SWEET HIP MUSIC! And then DDT! Cover, TWO! Adora survives and the fans fire up! Storm drags Adora up, ROCKS her, then ROCKS her again. Adora rises, and she fires a forearm! They go back and forth, shot for shot! Adora was a powerful costar, but like all supporting actresses, she let the Leading Lady shine brightest. Storm is on a roll heading for All In, but will she be meeting her protege in that title match? Or will it be the Babe with the Power once she becomes a TWO-TIME Queen of Harts?
AEW hears from Willow Nightingale and Mariah May.
The Babe with the Power says, “Last year, still in my rookie year here in AEW, excitedly entering the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. This year, it’s not just about winning The Owen. Mariah May, I feel like you are in the same spot I was last year.” Mariah responds that if Willow’s The Babe with the Power, then call her The Chick with The Champ. Storm believes in Mariah. Storm believes that Mariah can win the Owen Hart Cup home to her family and friends at All In Wembley. Willow knows Mariah wants to have her moment in the spotlight in front of her whole family, but Willow’s had a chip on her shoulder the last year, because she sat on the couch and watched All In all alone.
Mariah says she will stop at nothing to bring The Cup home! This one’s for Storm! Powerhouse or protege, who gets to go All In with the AEW Women’s World Champion?

Christian Cage says last week, there were a lot of people left in awe when Jay White confronted The Patriarchy with his words. “Those same people were left in awe that Christian Cage seemingly let him get away with it. Well, Jay, this was never personal for me, but you made it persona. See, I simply promised my family the gift of the Trios Championships for their loyalty to me over the past year. I didn’t even know you were the Trios Champions! I had to Google who the Trios Champions were, that’s the type of run The Bang Bang Gang has been on.
“But I have to be honest with you, Jay, I’m not sure your head’s in the game anyway. Otherwise, why would you enter yourself into the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament? And it’s simple: That’s your exit strategy, isn’t it? And I can’t say I blame you. Look who you surrounded yourself with. Juice Robinson? The guy’s a child. The guy’s a child! Go suck on another fentanyl lollipop, you loser. And then you’ve got genetic waste of Billy Gunn, Austin & Colten. Actually… Colten has a little bit of promise, but that’s a story for another day.
“So Jay, I’m gonna do you a favor. I’m gonna take those Trios Championships off your hands, and I’ll do what I do best. I’m gonna revive them. I’m gonna take them to new heights. I’m gonna make them the most prestigious championships in AEW, and pave my road to the World Heavyweight Championship. And like I said, Jay, I’m doing you a favor. And I think you’re gonna make your boss, Tony Khan, very happy, and I think you’re gonna make the AEW fanbase very happy. Because I speak for all of us when I say they are tired of watching you contently tread water. I think they’d like to see The Switchblade they thought they were getting when they signed you here. Guns… Down.”
The Patriarchy then looks over and sees someone is hiding. What’s this guy doing in his space? Come here. It’s Kip Sabian! And he apologizes, but… Speak up already! Kip says he lost his father. No disrespect. Oh, well, the apple doesn’t fall far, right? So Kip’s dad must’ve been a loser. But hey, at least he isn’t around to see what a disgrace Kip’s career has become. The good news? His dad is gonna get a whole lot worse. Killswitch (Luchasaurus), take care of this. Kip begs for mercy but he’s THROWN around backstage! Christian, Mother Shayna & Nick enjoy the show. Superbad’s super bad timing aside, will The Patriarchy really tear down The Bang Bang Gang?
AEW TNT Championship Open Challenge: Jack Perry VS ???
The Scapegoat said earlier tonight that he was either going to “sacrifice” his opponent tonight, or they are going to “sacrifice” in order to win. So then, with such stakes behind this match, who will step up to Jack Perry? Wait, Jurassic Express theme…? It’s MARKO STUNT! The fans can’t believe it, and neither can Jack! Is Perry’s past about to come back to haunt him?
The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who lives that Jungle Life!
The bell rings and the fans fire up for their home state hero’s return. Marko and Jack stare down, and Marko says let’s do this. Jack tells Marko to just go away, don’t even bother trying. Marko HEADBUTTS instead! Mark fires off hands and the fans fire up! Jack shoves Marko away, then LARIATS him inside-out! The fans boo but Jack rains down forearms on Marko. Jack lets his hair down before he KICKS Marko in the back. Jack drags Marko up, but Marko fires body shots! So Jack CHOPS Marko down! Jack drags Marko up, CHOPS him again, but Southaven rallies up. Jack taunts the fans so they boo.
Jack drags Marko up to whip, but Marko BOOTS Jack! Marko ducks ‘n’ dodges to tilt-o-whirl, but Jack LAWN DARTS Marko into buckles! Cover, TWO!! Marko survives, and Jack laughs! Jack is almost amused by Marko toughing it out. The fans rally for Marko but Jack sits him up, to SLAP him down. Jack soaks up the heat, scuffs Marko around, and eggs Marko on. Marko SLAPS back! Jack kicks low, suplexes, but Marko RANAS through! Cover, TWO! Marko keeps moving, ducks ‘n’ dodges, tilt-o-whirl and CODE BREAKER! Jack flounders, Marko hurries to a corner and the fans are going wild!
Marko climbs, leaps, DRAGON RAN- NO!! Jack stops that to BUCKLE BOMB! Marko flops down, and Jack says time to sacrifice! GOAT KNEE! Cover, Jack wins!

Jack literally rubs the championship in Marko’s face. The fans boo but Jack revels in it, who else will he “sacrifice” for the so-called great good?
The House of Black speaks.
Malakai says, “It’s interesting. This is one of the first times that I don’t know what to say. Perhaps that is the beauty of this little conversation we’re about to have. See, people constantly want to know what’s going on with us in regards to Buddy Matthews. How we feel about it. We don’t feel anything. See, we don’t sweat out our feelers the same way as most of you do. No, for us, revenge is not some straight line, as Mr. King so adequately put it. No. For us, revenge is an imbalanced scale, waiting to be tipped back into perfect balance. It is a shadow hiding in the dark, waiting to be put back into the light.”
Brody King then tells Christian Cage, “Even though we feel nothing, we promise that you will feel everything.” The Kings of the Black Throne disappear into the night, when and where will they choose to strike?
Claudio Castagnoli VS The Beast Mortis!
The Blackpool Combat Club has been on a roller coaster ride lately. Jon Moxley lost the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, Wheeler Yuta has contenders gunning for his ROH Pure Championship, and Bryan Danielson will be in the finals of the Owen Hart Cup this Wednesday. So what is Claudio to do? Well, first he has to survive the monstrous minotaur! Will Claudio make it through The Beast Mortis to go for some gold this Summer? Or will Mortis prove to be The Swiss Superman’s Doomsday?
The bell rings and the two circle. They tie up, Claudio waistlocks, then he wrangles Mortis to the mat. Claudio facelocks, Mortis spins free to wrench, but Claudio rolls to kip up. Claudio wrenches, YANKS the arm, and has the wristlock. The fans cheer, but Mortis goes up the ropes to flip and wrench back! Mortis headlocks, Claudio powers out and they RAM shoulders! The fans cheer for “MEAT! MEAT! MEAT!” Claudio eggs Mortis on, Mortis runs, but Claudio follows! Only for Mortis to CHOP BLOCK Claudio! The fans are torn as Mortis storms up on Claudio and CLUBS him. Mortis headlocks but Claudio powers free.
Claudio whips, Mortis reverses, Claudio catches the hurdle for a BACKBREAKER! The fans fire up and Claudio runs up to DOUBLE STOMP! The fans cheer, Claudio brings Mortis up and whips him. Mortis reverses again, runs up and UPPERCUTS, LARIATS and GAMANGIRIS in the corner, to then SNAP POWERSLAM! Cover, ONE!! Claudio is tough but Mortis is mean. Mortis ROCKS Claudio, then he brings down the kneepads. Mortis goes corner to corner, but Claudio dodges! Mortis hits buckles, then falls out of the ring, onto a cameraman! The fans lose their minds over that one, but somehow both cameraman and Mortis get back up.
Only for Claudio to run up! Mortis moves, Claudio rolls back and flexes. The fans cheer, Claudio goes to the corner and checks with the cameraman. Cameraman is okay, so Claudio builds speed. Mortis slides in as Claudio slides out, then Mortis comes back, TORNILLO TOPE SUICIDA! Direct hit but Mortis’ leg still bothers him. The ref checks, Mortis gets to his feet, and fans boo as he stalks Claudio. Mortis puts Claudio in, RAMS into him, then slingshots to get moving! Claudio swings, Mortis ducks ‘n’ dodges to RANA! Claudio staggers up, Mortis runs in, but Claudio POSTS him! Claudio then drags Mortis back in for a BIG running back suplex!
The fans fire up with Claudio, and even chant “Whoop Dat Trick!” as Collision goes picture in picture.
Collision drags Mortis up, bumps him off buckles, and again, and again, and again! The ref counts, Claudio keeps going but lets off at 4. The fans applaud and Claudio brings Mortis back up. The ref again counts, rather annoyed at this point, but Claudio still stops before 4. Claudio has the fans all fired up, and he then goes up a corner. Mortis stands, into the CROSSBODY! Cover, TWO! Claudio keeps on Mortis with a top wristlock. Mortis endures, even as Claudio steps over for leverage. Claudio shifts his grip, bends fingers, then goes back to the wristlock. Mortis still endures, fights around, and reaches out. Collision returns to single picture as Mortis fights up. Mortis ROCKS Claudio, Claudio ROCKS Mortis! They go forearm for forearm, CHOP for CHOP, and repeat! Claudio is feeling it, and he fires a flurry!
The fans fire up as Claudio whips corner to corner. Claudio runs in but into a BOOT! Mortis SLING DOGS! Claudio gets up but Mortis dodges to POP-UP SAMOAN DROP! Cover, TWO! Claudio sputters but he is still in this. Mortis snarls, the fans rally up, and Mortis runs up, but Claudio sends him into buckles! Claudio LARIATS, whips, but Mortis goes up and up and FLYING HEADBUTTS! Mortis rises, Claudio staggers and shakes out his arms. Mortis runs in, into an UPPERCUT! The fans rally, Mortis crawls to a cover, TWO! Claudio crawls to ropes, Mortis rises and runs back in! Claudio ELBOWS Mortis first! Mortis returns again, jumps up, but Claudio DUMPS him out hard! The ref checks on Mortis but he stands again. That leg is holding up somehow, so Claudio goes put, high five to that cameraman! Claudio runs in to UPPERCUT Mortis against railing! The fans fire up and Claudio puts Mortis back in. Claudio then grabs the legs and the fans cheer! Mortis BOOTS free, then HEADBUTTS Claudio! Roll-up, TWO! Backstage interview with Matthew Menard.
Lexy Nair is with the bandaged up Daddy Magic and says after what we saw on Dynamite, there are a lot of questions concerning Daniel Garcia’s condition. And obviously, Menard got roughed up, as well. How are they feeling? Not great, Lexy. Not at all. Concussion, headaches, light sensitivity, hence his sunglasses. But you wanna know Garcia’s condition? He is at home in Buffalo. He made it home, but he has lost all strength in the left side of his body. There is good news, though. Garcia will be making a full recovery. And good news for MJF, too. Because Menard promised Danny that Danny will get the satisfaction of being the first one to get his hands on MJF.
Menard says MJF won’t know when that happens. It could be six months from now, a year. But when that day comes, Max, when it comes, Menard promises MJF it won’t be the smooth dancing Daniel Garcia. No. Menard takes off the glasses to look right into the camera. MJF will be getting RED, DEATH. When and where will Garcia have his vengeance on the Wolf of Wrestling?

Frost handsprings, mule kicks, and runs to ROLLING NECKBREAKER! Cover, TWO! Frost is already annoyed but Riho drops back to a corner. Frost runs in but Riho moves!

Frost turns Riho around so she can CHOP again! Riho shouts from the pain, so Frost swings again. Riho dodges, and now she CHOPS! Frost frowns, there wasn’t enough on that. Riho says one more time then! And she CHOPS! That one Frost felt! Frost reels Riho in to suplex hard! Riho grits her teeth, Frost storms up on her, and Collision goes to break.
Collision returns and Frost has Riho down in the motorcycle stretch. The fans rally as Riho endures, and she fights to turn things around. Riho brings Frost up to ROCK her with forearm after forearm! Frost ROCKS Riho back, runs, but Riho gets around! Riho body shots, runs, RANA but not a clean one! Riho DROPKICKS Frost outta the ring! Frost hobbles, the fans rally, and Riho goes up and up to SUPER CROSSBODY! A clipping shot but enough to knock Frost down! Riho rises, Frost shakes out her legs. Riho puts Frost in, shakes out an arm, then goes up top. Riho aims to DIVING- NO, Frost avoids the stomp!

Some deja vu as Lexy mediates this meeting of trios. There is a lot of history here, but it will all come to a head next week on Rampage, in Memphis, Tennessee, when these trios have a Six Man Tag. Shane says that the last few weeks, these boys got a past. STP should’ve beat their asses back a few weeks ago. And while Dante Martin was playing on ladders with Lio, STP could’ve had Darius & Action “touched up.” Action says, “Could’ve? Well guess what? Wait’s over. Because next week, the six of us are settling this on Rampage, right here in Memphis, Tennessee!” Darius says Shane might think Top Flight is scared, but no one’s been ducking anyone.
So if STP wants to rumble, then let’s go. Dante brings up how Shane wants to say Dante was playing on ladders. Well, uh, at least Dante was on the PPV. And if he wants to bring up Lio Rush, isn’t he the one that cleaned house last time? Lee Moriarty says why wait ’til next week? Let’s go right now! Keep playing! We saw The Black Hat crush the hopes of Jeff Jarrett on Dynamite when he was dealt as The Wild Card, but he also told Matthew & Nicholas to shove their self-serving apology. Will Hangman now make it real easy for Jay White to focus on the Trios Championships by knocking him out of the tournament? Or will we all Breathe with The Switchblade?
But wait, BREAKING NEWS via Bobby Cruise. The EVPs, the Young Bucks, have decided that Juice Robinson & The Gunns are to be ejected from the building! White throws a fit, as does the rest of the gang, and Hangman grumbles that this is The Bucks doing him more favors. But in the end, this will be a fair 1v1 match now. White claims Hangman got The Bucks to do this for him, he’s still Elite, but then Hangman RAMS White right into the corner! The ref has Hangman back off, and the bell rings. Hangman runs back in but White headlocks. Hangman powers out and runs White over! Then he stomps away on White!
White bails out, Hangman pursues, but White KNEES low. Hangman ROCKS White back! The fans fire up as they go around the way, and Hangman puts White in the ring. White stomps Hangman now, RAMS him into a corner, but Hangman CLUBS away on White! White crawls, Hangman stands him up and CHOPS! The fans “WOO~!” while White falls back to a corner. White kicks low, kicks some more, then fires forearms. White backs Hangman down, but Hangman DECKS him! Hangman scowls, the ref checks on White, and White revives. White also clings to the ref, but Hangman drags him up.
Hangman scoops White, for a FALL AWAY SLAM! The fans are torn while White flounders, but Hangman scowls as he rises up. White goes to the apron, Hangman storms over, triangle jump LARIAT HOTSHOT! White storms in to CHOP! And CHOP! And then he RAMS into Hangman! White CHOPS again, but Hangman shoves White. White returns, but Hangman BOOTS him! The ref checks White again but he’s okay to continue. White goes to the apron, Hangman storms over, and the fans rally up. Hangman drags White up, but White HOTSHOTS again! Hangman sputters his way to a corner, but he comes back to triangle jump LARIAT!
The fans fire up as Hangman goes out and RAMS White into barriers! Hangman dribbles White off the railing, and he soaks up the cheers and jeers as he goes back to the ring. Hangman refreshes the count, the fans rally for “COWBOY SH*T!” and Hangman hauls White up. Hangman puts White in, soaks up more cheers and jeers, then shows off the damage he did to the railing using White. Hangman storms in, BLADE- NO, Hangman slips free and he CLAWS White’s face! The ref reprimands but Hangman puts on a SLEEPER, then he SWINGS White! And he DROPS White, to then HAMMER away on him!
Hangman KICKS White, KICKS him more, but the ref has him let off as White bails out. The fans fire up while White flounders around, and Collision goes picture in picture.
Hangman seethes, and is White really egging him on? A ring count starts but Hangman goes out to fetch White. Hangman brings White up, but White RAMS Hangman into and over steel steps! The ref checks both guys and they’re somehow okay. Hangman get sup, and he LARIATS White and himself up and over railing! Hangman stands up, forehead busted open, but totally unfazed! Hangman TOSSES White back over the railing, and White scrambles into the ring. Hangman snarls as the crimson mask grows. Hangman steps in, stalks White, and drags him up. Hangman RAMS White into a corner, then puts him up top.
Hangman CHOPS White, White punches back! They brawl as Hangman works to climb up. White rains down fists right on the bloody forehead, then he BOOTS Hangman away! Collision returns as White hops down to CHOP! And CHOP! And CHOP again! Hangman ROCKS White and White goes back to a corner. Hangman runs up, but White dodges. White blocks Hangman’s boot to KNEE JAMMER! Then White grabs at the leg, but Hangman pushes him away. White blocks another kick, to DRAGON SCREW! Hangman hobbles to a corner, White UPPERCUTS! White JABS, JABS, CHOPS, repeat! The ref counts, White CHOPS and CHOPS and CHOPS!
Hangman HEADBUTTS back! Hangman swings, White dodges, and White CLAWS at Hangman’s eyes! The ref counts, White lets off, and he wipes Hangman’s blood on himself. White whips, Hangman reverses, White slides to a stop. Hangman takes a swing, White spins him into a DDT! Cover, TWO!! Hangman stays in this but White stays focused. White hauls Hangman up, but Hangman fights the urenage. Hangman ELBOWS White away, the fans rally, Hangman runs in. White ELOBWS Hangman back, BOOTS him again, then runs up, but into a fireman’s carry! But White claws free! And CHOPS again!
Hangman ROLLING ELBOWS White! White staggers, Hangman runs, but right into a FLATLINER!! White gets around to deadlift GERMAN SUPLEX! Both men are down and the fans are thunderous! White and Hangman crawl to the apron, and White brings Hangman up. But Hangman Alabama Lifts! White fights free and CHOPS! Hangman fires haymakers, then backs up. White wobbles, Hangman runs up, but White APRON FLATLINERS!! Hangman sputters, White crawls back up and drags Hangman into a waistlock. Hangman fights with elbows. Hangman runs and he POSTS White! The cameraman is almost collateral damage again!
White hobbles, Hangman reels him in, and APRON POWERBOMBS him!! The fans go nuts and the ring count is climbing, but Hangman seethes as he puts White in the ring. Hangman takes off the elbow pad, flips off the fans who want tables when this isn’t a No Disqualification match, and then he- NO, White falls over so Hangman has to stop his slingshot. Hangman storms in, White cradles him! TWO!! Hangman escapes that trap, but White BOOTS him to the apron! Hangman BOOTS back, but White grabs the leg! DRAPING DRAGON SCREW! White has a SLEEPER, but Hangman arm-drags free! POP-UP POWERBOMB!! Cover, TWO!!
Hangman is furious that White survives. Hangman drags White up, ROCKS him with haymaker after haymaker, then goes back to the apron. Hangman reloads, slingshots, and BUCK- URENAGE!! White covers, TWO!!! Hangman survives that turnaround but White reels him in! SLEEPER, for the- NO, Hangman fires elbows! But White still SNAP SLEEPER SUPLEXES! White roars, hauls Hangman up, BLADE- NO, Hangman slips free, Alabama Lifts, but White fights free of that! SNAP- NO, Hangman SHOVES White away, into the ref!! Hangman realizes what happened, and is even angrier than before! So Hangman rains down fists on White! Hangman takes off his belt to CHOKE White with it!! And then he LASHES White with it!! But here comes Double J! The fans fire up as the Last Outlaw storms in and snatches that strap! Hangman warns Jarrett, but White hits a SNAP SLEEPER SUPLEX!! Another ref hurries out here, Jarrett is escorted away, but wait! Christian Cage slips in!? He SPEARS White!!! The Patriarch gets away with that one, and “hides” behind the apron! Hangman loads up again, and he slingshots to BUCKSHOT!! Cover, Hangman wins!!

Controversy and then some, and now Hangman heads to Calgary! Is the Black Hat going to stampede all over Bryan Danielson? Or will Hangman fail to slay the American Dragon? And as for Jay White, Christian Cage just made sure he has nothing better to do, will The Bang Bang Gang take aim at The Patriarchy?
My Thoughts:
A very good Collision, but it had the misfortune of going up against a great WWE MITB. Very good promo from MJF, namely that he called back to almost a year ago with his Face turn promo. I feel like his explanation of why he turned on Garcia was a bit convoluted, because clearly it was that Garcia made MJF an afterthought when Ospreay offered his title match. It would’ve worked better if MJF said he turned on Garcia because like the fans, Garcia chose Ospreay over him. Either way, we’re obviously getting MJF VS Ospreay for All In. And Menard had a great promo to put MJF on notice for Garcia’s return, and I feel like Garcia could make a “miraculous return” at All In once MJF VS Ospreay ends. Garcia goes after MJF, regardless if he has a title or not, and they take that to All Out.
Great promo from Conglomeration, real fun match from Conglomeration VS Iron Savages, and of course Undisputed Kingdom was around. I’m thinking the Six Man Tag of Conglomeration VS Kingdom is for All In, and with Cassidy’s souring mood, I wonder if he just goes berserk and Orange Punches everyone, The Kingdom and teammates, to become this rogue Tweener version of himself. Very good promo from Jack Perry to hype his AEW TNT Championship Open Challenge, and an honestly great surprise that Marko Stunt returned. But of course Jack won so that he’d have his first title defense already done with.
Toni Storm VS Trish Adora was a really good match, but I figured Storm was gonna win. Storm keeps her momentum up, and I feel like her character is still unaware that if Mariah wins the Cup, they have to face each other. I would love if Storm just expects Mariah to Finger Poke of Doom for her and then Mariah rebels to make it a competitive match, but who knows. Great just-because match from Claudio VS Mortis, though I was really worried for Mortis after falling on the cameraman. Claudio winning helps lead into that “Global Glory” Fatal 4. And if that match really is to help determine an International Championship #1 contender, it’d be fitting if it was Fletcher. Fletcher would find himself stuck between Ospreay and the Don Callis Family, and that’s good story.
Good promo from Serena Deeb, but uh, sorry, I didn’t even remember Deeb VS Riho was on Double or Nothing 2021. I barely remember any of Double or Nothing 2021 as it is. Good match from Riho VS Frost, but the back to back botches of the rana and the crossbody kinda killed the mood. Riho still won of course, she’s got momentum going into her match with Deeb. Good promo from STP and Top Flight, but for what feels like the 100th time, Tony Khan not paying attention to all the stories causes references like what Shane made tonight. The trios were supposed to have it out, but then TK puts Dante in the TNT Championship Ladder match, etc. At least now these trios will have it out, and maybe Lio Rush returns to have a part to play.
But hey, the main event still lived up to expectations. Hangman had a great promo, he really got fired up, and then even The Patriarchy’s story got involved. Good promo from The Patriarchy, too, especially with how they treated poor Kip. Maybe Kip ends up factoring into Patriarchy VS Bang Bang Gang, but Christian screwing White over in The Owen was some clever stuff. Hangman being in his own Tweener state makes for some good stuff, he’s just gonna be fighting everyone on the roster at this rate. Bryan VS Hangman is set, and Swerve VS Hangman at All In certainly feels like the move they’re going for. The Bucks also backhandedly helping is a good detail, it might compel Hangman to actually be on Team AEW for Blood & Guts.

The forearms go back and forth, Briscoe fires a flurry, but Bravo CLAWS Briscoe’s face!
Bravo runs, but Briscoe winds up to UPPERCUT! The fans cheer the Redneck Kung-Fu! Lee tags in and hits his tiger stance. But then Kyle calls to Briscoe, and Briscoe tags Kyle! The fans cheer as Kyle and Lee tie up, go around, and Kyle wrenches. Lee wrenches, slips through, and waistlocks. They go around, Lee switches but Kyle has the arm. Kyle arm-drags Lee down, double wristlock, but Lee fights around. Kyle body scissors, rolls to the cover, TWO! The fans fire up as the two go again, knuckle lock, and Lee headlocks. Kyle powers up and out, Lee goes up and around, but Kyle does the same to slide under.
Lee ducks a kick, then wheelbarrows to victory roll, then EURO CLUTCH! TWO! Kyle is up, Lee backs off, and the fans cheer the exchange. Lee points to Nigel McGuinness, wanting him to remember the Euro Clutch did him in the last time they faced off. Kyle storms up on Lee, Lee headlocks, but Kyle powers up and out. Lee RUNS Kyle, keeps moving, but Kyle drops down. Lee sunset flips but Kyle stays up! Kyle shakes his head, drops down into the ARMBAR, but here comes The Infantry! Briscoe & Cassidy intercept Dean & Bravo, fire off hands in corners, and Kyle shifts to an ANKLE LOCK! But Lee reels Kyle into a headlock.
Briscoe & Cassidy TOSS The Infantry, then go out after them. Lee waistlocks, Kyle fires elbows, and Kyle climbs up in the corner. The fans count along as Kyle goes all the way to TEN! Tag to Briscoe, he climbs up, and he rains down fists! Briscoe goes all the way to TEN, then he tags Cassidy! The fans fire up again as Cassidy winds up, climbs up, and rains down ONE! The fans cheer Cassidy while Lee stumbles. Lee tags Dean, and now The Captain steps to Cassidy. Dean says go ahead, put the hands in the pockets. Cassidy says okay, and he raises his hands, to then slowly, slowly, put them in his pockets!
The fans cheer as Cassidy then ducks ‘n’ dodges Dean, and still arm-drags Dean away! Dean runs up, Cassidy drops down to MONKEY FLIP! Then Cassidy kips up! The fans fire up, but Bravo storms in and whips him to a corner. Cassidy goes up, out, and ducks Bravo to bump him off buckles! Dean tries, but Cassidy bumps him off buckles! Bravo tries again, he just gets buckles! Dean tries again, he just gets buckles! The fans fire up as Cassidy climbs, but Lee trips him up! The fans boo while Cassidy falls to the mat, but the ref has to keep Kyle & Briscoe from going after Lee! The Infantry flanks Cassidy, but Cassidy bobs n’ weaves to dodge the shots!
Cassidy tries again, but the CARLIE CROSSOVER hits, then a feed to the SLINGSHOT SPEAR! Lee drags Cassidy to the apron, the ref is still distracted, Shane Taylor hits a GUILLOTINE LEG DROP! The fans boo but STP has taken control while Collision goes to picture in picture!
Lee drags Cassidy up, puts him in the ring, and Dean covers, TWO! Dean drags Cassidy up, whips him to ropes, then BODY BLOWS! Cassidy falls in a heap but Dean soaks up heat. Dean stomps Cassidy, drags him up, then bumps him off buckles. Dean tags Bravo to send him in for the SPLASH! Dean adds a SPLASH, then scoops while Bravo goes up, KNEE DROP SIDEWALK SLAM COMBO! Cover, Briscoe breaks it! Bravo is upset, but he CLUBS Cassidy. Cassidy fights the suplex, Bravo CLUBS him again and again, then suplexes through! Cover, TWO! Cassidy toughs it out but Bravo drags Cassidy over to the corner.
Dean tags in, The Infantry stomps away on Cassidy, but the ref counts. Dean stops to kneel on Cassidy, then steps off again. Cassidy throws “shots” on the leg, but Dean stomps Cassidy down! Dean then BLASTS Briscoe & Kyle! The ref reprimands but that just lets Bravo CHOKE Cassidy! The ref reprimands Bravo now as Collision returns to single picture. Dean asks, “Is this camera on me? B! B! C!” BRONCO BUSTER CAPTAIN! Dean bounces, Bravo says if you see Cap in that corner, yo’ ass is a goner! Dean drags Cassidy up, tags Bravo, and Dean sends Bravo in for the SPLASH! Then feed to Dean, but Cassidy tilt-o-whirl DDTS!

This Wednesday, it’s a title eliminator, and after Kyle makes Moxley submit again, he is putting all his chips in and goes Double or Nothing! Briscoe says damn right, Kyle. And speaking of Dynamite, Tommaso Ciampa, Briscoe put it plain and clear, but he hasn’t heard a word from Ciampa! If Ciampa’s scared, he should just say it! Cassidy says Willow needs to say something.
Willow says sure, okay. Great job, guys, really. But for her, Double or Nothing, it will be TRIPLE or nothing, because she has THIS bad boy, the TBS Championship! But she’s also coming for The Owen, and the World Championship! As for tonight, Red Velvet may have beaten Willow to qualify for The Owen, but that won’t happen tonight. Before making her entrance, the ROH Women’s World TV Champion tells Willow, “The Comeback Killer,” that she’s still salty that Willow is in The Owen and Velvet is not. Tonight, she takes out all her frustrations every time she stirs it up and punches Willow in the face. Yeah, Velvet beat Willow before. And in fact, she’ll beat Willow for that TBS title right now!
The introductions are made, the teal belt is raised, and we see if The Babe with The Power is still the Face of TBS!
The bell rings and the fans rally as the two circle. They tie up, Willow powers Velvet to a corner, and the ref counts. Willow backs off, and she flexes as she fires the fans up. The two reset, tie up, and Willow SHOVES Velvet away. Velvet is frustrated as she comes back and resets with Willow again. Velvet then slips around Willow, waistlocks, but Willow wrenches out. Velvet wrenches back, top wristlocks, but Willow stays up. Velvet kicks and TRIPS Willow, then steps over to LEG DROP on the arm scissor! The fans rally as Willow rolls and stacks Velvet, TWO! Willow gut wrenches, but Velvet slips through! Willow ducks, but the superkick still scuffs her!
Willow says okay, okay, and she resets with Velvet. The fans rally behind Willow as she offers a handshake. Velvet accepts, but then arm- NO! Willow stops the arm-drag, and the next one, then whips Velvet to RUN her over! Willow fires up, the fans cheer, and things keep moving. Velvet runs up to CALF KICK! Willow flounders to a corner and Velvet storms up on her. Velvet fires body shots, then stomps Willow down. The ref counts but Velvet does the splits as she digs her boot in! The fans are torn but Willow pushes the foot away. Velvet runs back up, but Willow dodges to LARIAT again and again! The fans count all the way to TEN!
Willow short arm- NO, Velvet ducks the shot, but Willow ELBOWS her! Willow fireman’s carries, Velvet sunset flips, but Velvet avoids the hip drop! Ghost pin, TWO! Willow FISHERMAN SUPLEXES! But just like last night, Sammy hushes “Chica” Lexy, and says, “Everybody’s Favorite Pillar is about to talk, so zip it and listen. Darby, I don’t need to call my shot against you because I looked through the history books, and history’s on my side. I’ve beaten you not once, not twice, not three times, I’ve beaten you four times. When I look at the history books, I’m a three-time TNT Champion while you, you’ve only held that belt twice.
“So I’m gonna beat you tonight like I’ve beaten you before. I’m gonna stamp my ticket to Double or Nothing, and MJF, I know you’re watching, you sociopath. I’m gonna beat you next week and I’m gonna shave you BALD! But don’t worry, I’ll give you a nice little fade. Because I am the best! I am the best wrestler, I am the best talker, I am the best this planet has! I’m the Spanish God, dammit! Collision returns and Lexy is now with said AEW World Champion. She brings up the five title defenses in 21 days, an AEW record! But tonight is number six against someone Darby’s known for a long time in Sammy Guevara. Darby says when he showed up today, he asked if anyone had seen MJF yet. Then he thought, “What a stupid question. Of course he’s not gonna be at Collision.” MJF is not a company man, he only cares about himself. And those same people asked back, why is Darby back? Why is Darby defending his title again? Double or Nothing is next Sunday, why is Darby risking losing this? Because Darby loves this!
And if there’s anyone in this company as crazy as Darby, it is Sammy Guevara. Darby loves it! Darby realizes this could all end tonight, and Speedball wants his match on Wednesday? Well, if Darby walks out here tonight, then on Dynamite, it’s Showtime! Darby thanks Lexy then heads back out. Will the Relentless Reign be an unstoppable one? Or is this one Collision Darby will not walk away from?

Tommaso Ciampa is CHOKING Mark Briscoe out! The Psycho Killer SMACKS Briscoe off road cases, and says how dare Briscoe call him out! Their brawl now moves onto the stage! The fans boo as Ciampa fires hands on Briscoe as they go down the ramp! Ciampa whips, Briscoe reverses, and Ciampa hits barriers hard! Briscoe stomps away on Ciampa, the fans fire up, and Briscoe whips Ciampa into more barriers! Briscoe throws a chair into the ring, then he drags Ciampa up and in. Ciampa bails out, but Briscoe DIVES! Down goes Ciampa, and Briscoe just throws another chair into the ring! Briscoe CLUBS away on Ciampa, then brings him up.
Ciampa BODY SHOTS, but Briscoe sends Ciampa into the steel steps! Briscoe puts Ciampa in the ring, stomps him, then positions the chairs. Briscoe reels Ciampa in, underhooks, but Ciampa fights the lift! Ciampa then LOW BLOWS Briscoe! The fans boo but Ciampa just scowls. Ciampa then grabs a chair, and he SMACKS Briscoe on the back! Briscoe writhes, the fans boo, but Ciampa just stalks Briscoe to a corner. Ciampa DIGS a chair into Briscoe’s bad shoulder! The fans boo but Ciampa soaks up heat. Ciampa then brings Briscoe up, bumps him off buckles, and hoists him up top. Ciampa CHOPS, Briscoe sputters, but Ciampa gets the chairs!
Ciampa wants to recreate what put Briscoe on the shelf the past month! Ciampa JAMS Briscoe up with a chair first before putting it side-by-side with the other. Ciampa then climbs up, soaks up heat, and vows to end Briscoe once and for all! But then Kyle & Cassidy rush out here! Ciampa runs away from The Conglomeration, but he warns them all that he’ll get them for this! Briscoe grabs a mic to shout at Ciampa, “You ain’t nothin’ but a punk, son! You wanna do it like that? Sounds like to me Wednesday night, the only right thing to do is to make this ANYTHING GOES! NO DISQUALIFICATIONS!” The fans like the sound of that!

Joe storms up on Lee, Lee backs off, but Lethal bails out. The fans boo but Joe just tags Bowens in. Bowens dares Lethal to come back, but Lethal tags Lee. The fans cheer Bowens as he circles with Lee. They tie up, Bowens headlocks, but Lee powers up and out. Bowens RUNS Lee over, then runs the ropes, but Lee drops down, blows past, and slides under to then headlock takeover. Bowens headscissors, Lee kips free, but roles reverse as Bowens hits a headlock takeover. Lee headscissors, Bowens kips free, but Lee kicks low! Lee mocks the scissor fingers, then whips corner to corner. Bowens goes up, over, but Lee goes up and over in return!
Lee flips Bowens off, but Bowens THROWS Lee to the corner! Bowens CHOPS, CHOPS, CHOPS, then stomps, stomps, stomps! The ref counts, Bowens backs off, and the fans cheer the Pride of Pro-Wrestling as he jukes the ref to stomp Lee again! The ref counts, Bowens stops, and Lee bails out. Bowens goes outside after Lee, but Lethal runs up! Bowens mule kicks Lethal first, then RAMS him into the apron! And again! And again! The ref reprimands, Joe has his guy back off, but he is definitely impressed. Bowens hurries back into the ring to storm up on Lee, but Lee throat chops! Lee goes for a corner but Bowens blocks the bump to give a bump!
Tag to Joe, and Bowens clinches Lee into the RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Joe then runs up to SENTON! Cover, TWO! Lee toughs it out but Joe looms over him. Joe drags Lee up, puts him in a corner, then whips corner to corner. Lethal hurries to soften the impact, Lee runs up on Joe, but Joe dodges Lee so he can CHOP Lethal on the back! Blake gets up, but backflips away before Joe can grab him! Lee HOTSHOT BULLDOGS Joe, and Lethal MISSILE DROPKICKS! The Lethal Twist makes the numbers game work in their favor, but fans boo while Collision goes picture in picture.
Lee RAMS Joe into the corner, RAMS him again, and Lethal tags in. Lethal RAMS Joe again and again, then he tags Lee. The Lethal Twist mugs Joe, Lee stomps away, but the ref counts. Lee backs off, but that lets Lethal and Blake mug Joe! Bowens protests but The Lethal Twist gets away with it all. Lee then tags Lethal back in, and Lethal grabs a leg to trip Joe. Lethal then turns Joe over for the HALF CRAB! Joe endures, reaches out, and fights his way to the ROPEBREAK! Lethal lets go as the ref counts, but he sucker punches Bowens! The fans cheer, and now Joe speaks on the mic. “Oh, Ospreaaaay~…! Do you understand what I do for my friends? But unfortunately, decisions have consequences, and you chose a different road, Will. So allow me to say this: I am truly beyond honored that you consider facing me a dream match.” The fans cheer that, but Joe says it’s just unfortunate that when he gets Ospreay in the ring, “it’ll be nothing but a nightmare.”
Joe & Bowens have made it clear that no matter who, no matter where, and no matter what, The Opps will not show mercy. Will nothing stop The Opps from taking it all here in AEW?
Backstage interview with #Brodido.
Lexy Nair is with Brody King & Bandido, and wants to talk the Owen Hart Tournament. Brody is set to face Claudio while Bandido is up against Swerve Strickland. Now, if they both win their matches, that pits them against teach other in the semifinals. But what they also needs to talk about is last night, Supercard of Honor, Bandido retained the title, only for Swerve to attack. Brody tells Swerve that he warned him about what would happen if Swerve messed with the people Brody cared about! Next time Brody sees Swerve, he’ll- Bandido stops Brody there, and says no, no, hermano. Bandido loves you, but this is Bandido’s battle, and Brody needs to respect that.
So Bandido tells Swerve that this is a battle Swerve will not win! Swerve may be the Most Dangerous, but Bandido is the Most Wanted! And after Double or Nothing when Bandido beats Swerve, Swerve won’t be a danger to anyone anymore! Both sides of Brodido have spoken, but will either of them knock down Swerve’s House? Or will Swerve’s thirst for power be satiated with the Owen Hart Cup?

Lena grins, she drags Allie up, and she tags Megan.
Kaia runs up but Megan scoops her! The Divine Dominion SANDWICH the two, then FALL AWAY SLAM them both! And they SPLASH in the corners! And then another SPLASH! They send their opponents into each other, then DOUBLE LEAPING LARIAT! The fans fire up as Lena & Megan focus on Allie, DIVINE INTERVENTION! Cover, Divine Dominion wins!

And the uncertainty, Hikaru Shida, says even though it is every one for themselves, she knows she and Kris will be on the same page, just like always! Kris says y’know who really has her back? Kris herself! That’s all she needs! Jamie warns Thekla that she’s gonna find out, unfinished business is her favorite kind!
Thekla says Double or Nothing, the Toxic Spider destroys New York! A Fatal 4 Way of epic proportions await, will there be nothing left after the dust clears?

Lexy Nair is with the ROH Women’s World Champion and the Fighting Gravure Idol, and thanks them for accepting the No Physicality Agreement. They are on a collision course in the opening round of the Owen Hart Tournament, this has gotta be a tough one. Athena says maybe, maybe not, but the facts are this: Athena has been the ROH Women’s World Champion for over 1252 DAYS, and has left of dozens of bodies in her wake. Pretty sure Mina’s one of them. Mina says last year at All In, Athena broke Mina’s hand. Athena says so what! Last year at Death Before Dishonor, she kicked Mina’s ass all over the arena! Why does Mina think this match will be any different?
Mina laughs and says last night at Supercard, when she locked in the Figure Four on her opponent, she dreamt it was Athena. Athena says Mina is dreaming of her! So flattered! But she hopes Mina has the best dream tonight: Mina’s dead body in a ditch, next to her precious Toni Storm! Mina tells Athena that Mina has dreamt of winning The Owen and the AEW Women’s World title, while ending Athena! She can’t dream anymore, because now she will live it! Athena says sure, sure. They argue, but Lexy keeps them from getting physical! Will the Fallen Goddess be unstoppable even in AEW? Or will The Owen will be about #MinaNow?

Nigel McGuinness tracked down The Problem Child, and walks over. Lio says hey, Nigel! Good to see you! He saw Nigel put in that work last night, he did great. He did really good. Nigel appreciates that, that’s what he wants to talk about. Specifically, what happened between Lio and his former tag team partner, Action Andretti. Action cost Lio the ROH World TV Championship, what is Lio’s response? Lio says it’s all fine! It’s fine! These things happen, Nigel. Losses happen, friends get upset. It’s fine. It’s fine. Lio keeps saying that, and Nigel says that is the official response. Lio again says it’s good to see Nigel.
But then Lio takes off his sunglasses to show off those creepy eyes. He smiles, and that black goo drools out… Lio continues to say it’s fine, but is it anything but fine? Or should Action learn to sleep with one eye open?

Before they team up for Stadium Stampede, the AEW National Champion teams with David Finlay & Clark Connors to test their chemistry. Will Dunkzilla, The Rebel & 100 Proof sink their teeth into Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz & Myron Reed? Or will The Rascalz light ’em up and smoke ’em in Salisbury?
The trios sort out and Davis starts against Dez. They circle, but then The Dogs rush in! The ref stops them, Davis runs up on Dez, but Dez dodges! Dez dodges again, SHOTGUNS The Dogs, then SUPERKICKS Davis! Dez jumps on for a SLEEPER, Zach tags in, and Myron helps out as The Rascalz mug Davis! They beat Davis down in the corner and the fans fire up! The ref counts, The Rascalz back off, then Zach tags Dez back in. They double whip but The dogs bail Davis out. The fans boo but The Rascalz run up to TRIPLE BOOT Davis & The Dogs down! Then they build speed, only for The Dogs to CLOBBER Zach & Myron!
Dez DIVES, but Davis catches him! And CHOPS him down! The Dogs beat up on Zach & Myron on the outside, Davis CHOKES Dez with a chair, but the ref reprimands. Davis puts Dez in the ring, Finlay CHOKES Myron while Connors whips, but Zach reverses! Connors hits railing hard and writhes on the floor. Myron whips Finlay into railing, and Dez dodges Davis as Davis runs up in the corner! Dez ENZIGIRIS again and again and again! Then Zach joins in, ENZIGIRI GAMANGIRI SANDWICH! Tag to Zach, they speed blitz Davis, then Myron joins in with a DOUBLE STOMP! The Rascalz combine, but The Dogs catch Dez!
The Dogs use Dez to CLOBBER Zach, and THROW him at Myron! The Dogs whip Zach, DOUBLE ELBOW, then SENTON! SLIDING SHOULDER! Davis SENTONS on top! The fans boo but Davis & The Dogs soak it up while Collision goes picture in picture.
Davis drags Zach up just to CLUB him down. Then he drags Zach up to whip hard into the corner. Davis tags Connors, Connors ROCKS Zach, then ROCKS him again. But Zach hits back! Zach backs Connors down, but Connors UPPERCUTS him down! Connors taunts the fans and The Rascalz, then drags Zach back up. Connors RAMS Zach into the corner, tags Finlay, and Finlay stomps away on Zach. The ref counts, Finlay stops, but then Davis CHOKES Zach behinds the ref’s back! Davis gets away with it, then flexes to soak up heat. Finlay puts Zach on the ropes, backs off as the ref reprimands, but that lets Connors CLOBBER Zach!
Finlay then hoists Zach up, BROKEN ARROW! Zach gets distance from that throw, and Finlay flexes. Cover, TWO! Finlay drags Zach into shoulder claws, and Collision goes to break.
Collision returns as Zach fires body shots on Finlay, but Finlay throat chops! Zach sputters, Finlay tags Connors, and they double whip Zach, but Zach BLASTS Davis! Finlay runs up, blocks a boot, but Zach reels him in, pushes him down, then hops over! Zach then slips under Connors, but Connors gets a leg! Zach BOOTS Connors into Finlay! Zach crawls, but Connors BLASTS The Rascalz! The fans boo but Connors CLOBBERS Zach, too! Connors soaks up heat then drags Zach up. Connors whips, Zach handsprings, JUMP KNEE! The fans fire up, both men crawl, and we get hot tags on Finlay and Myron! Myron ducks Finlay to then dodge and GUILLOTINE LEG DROP!
Myron goes up, up, and he leaps, but Finlay gets under. Finlay blocks a kick, spins Myron, but Myron DRAGON WHIPS! Connors runs up, Myron dodges, and Dez UPPERCUTS! SUPERKICKS! And CUTTERS! Myron runs up on Finlay, whips, but Finlay reverses. Finlay ducks a boot but the SUPERKICK hits! Dez joins in, DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! The Rascalz hoist Finlay up, SLINGSHOT NECKBREAKER BOMB COMBO! Cover, TWO!! Finlay survives but Myron tags Zach. Zach & Myron get Finlay up for a torture rack while Dez climbs, but Davis SHOVES Dez down! Connors saves Finlay, then Finlay hits an IRISH CURSE BACKBREAKER on Myron!
Connors SNAP POWERSLAMS Zach! The fans boo but Finlay tags Davis. Davis goes up top, Finlay and Connors get Zach and Myron up in Electric Chair Lifts, but Myron & Zach each POISON-RANA free! Dez goes up to get Davis! SUPERPLEX! The fans fire up while everyone is down around ringside! The Rascalz rise and regroup, then they build speed! TRIPLE TOPES!! The fans are all fired up as The Rascalz get Davis in! “This is Awesome!” as The Rascalz then combine for the SWING OUT TRIPLE DROPKICK!! The fans fire up while Davis is in the drop zone! Zach goes up, Dez tags in, and Zach SWANTON BOMBS!
Dez climbs up top, Myron tags in, Dez FROG SPLASHES! Myron goes up, he adds the 450 SPLASH! Cover, THE DOGS BREAK IT! The fans can’t believe it but The Rascalz go after The Dogs! They TOSS The Dogs out, but then the brawling continues! Finlay fireman’s carries Dez for a SNAKE EYES off the railing! Connors JEEP FLIPS Zach! The Dogs then go after Myron, but he goes Matrix to dodge! DOUBLE CUTTERS on the kip up! Myron runs, FLYING- NO! Davis stops the cutter to LARIAT Myron back in! Then Davis runs, hits the REBOUNDER!! Davis tags Finlay, and Davis PENDULUM DRIVERS! Feed to Finlay for the suplex!

Anna came back, is still here, and there is still a lot left for them to do. And by that, she means her and Tay Melo! The besties reunite, and Tay says if Anna is back, and she is back, then there’s one thing they gotta do.
Anna tells if they wanna find out what that is, #JustTryUs! TayJay is back again, but are they going to fight their way right to the Divine Dominion’s tag titles?

The Relentless One may have gotten MJF to accept the Double or Nothing challenge, but he is always up for a fight! The Spanish God still has the ROH World Tag Team Championship around his waist, but he wants even more gold to show off to his wife and daughter! Who gets what they want tonight to then head for Queens, New York?
As he makes his entrance, Sammy brings a table out from under the ring and sets it up ringside, planning ahead for the wild fight he and Darby are about to have! The introductions are made, and Darby kneels down with the belt, only for Sammy to STOMP him into it!! The ref reprimands, the fans boo, but Sammy holds up the belt as if he’s already won it! Sammy puts the belt aside, the bell rings, and Sammy KNEES Darby right outta the ring! Sammy THROWS Darby into railing, THROWS him in again, then goes back to his table! Sammy puts the table by the stage, then he drags Darby up. Sammy THROWS Darby into more railing! And more railing!
Sammy grabs a ladder and he brings it over to his table! The ref reprimands, there are no count outs but there are still disqualifications! Sammy doesn’t seem to care, he still stands his ladder up near that table. Sammy then lines up a shot, and he JUMP KNEES Darby back down! “I’m gonna be the world champion! Me! Not him!” Sammy drags Darby up, puts him on the table, and he rains down fists! Sammy climbs the ladder, goes to the very top, and reminds us that he’s loco! SUPER SWANTON BOMB through the table!! The fans go nuts as Darby and Sammy are both down in the wreckage!
The ref checks both men, and Sammy sits up first. Sammy drags Darby up with a headlock, brings him to the ring, and Sammy covers, TWO!! Darby survives and Sammy is furious! Sammy drags Darby up, torture racks, and GO TO- NO, Darby blocks and turns Sammy over! SCORPION DEATH LOCK!!! Sammy endures, reaches out, but Darby is looking dizzy! Darby falls over?! Sammy grins as Darby sputters, but the ref has Sammy hold on, he needs to check! Darby is conscious but dazed, and Sammy hurries to the apron. Springboard FROG SPLASH! Cover, TWO!! Darby survives and Sammy is beside himself!
Sammy pushes Darby to a cover, TWO! Darby refuses to give up, despite how it looks. Sammy puts Darby up top, but Darby fires body shots! Darby HEADBUTTS Sammy down, then adjusts, but Sammy trips Darby up! Darby hits buckle, then apron, then floor! Sammy soaks up the heat while the ref checks Darby again. Darby flounders and crawls but refuses to stop, so Sammy fires hands! Sammy climbs up on Darby but Darby fires hands in return! Darby shoves Sammy, Sammy goes up the steps and JUMP SOBATS! Sammy says #AndNew AEW World Champion! Sammy soaks up more heat, then he drags Darby up.
Sammy puts Darby in the ring, drags him up, then KNEES him low! Sammy grins, suplexes, and that’s just Uno Amigo! That means “One Friend.” Sammy hits Dos Amigos! Then THREE AMIGOS! Cover, TWO! Sammy is frustrated as Darby survives again. Sammy clamps on with a chinlock, not quite a bulldog choke, but Darby is still sputtering for air. The fans rally as hard as they can, and Darby rises up to fire body shots! Darby runs, but Sammy SUPERKICKS! Darby falls, Sammy covers, TWO!! Darby scrambles away but Sammy stalks him, and Collision goes picture in picture.
Sammy digs his boot into Darby’s face at the ropes, but the ref counts. Sammy stops, talks some trash, then stalks Darby to a corner. Sammy drags Darby up, whips him corner to corner hard, and Darby flounders out of the ring. Sammy pursues, drags Darby up, and he talks more trash on the fans. Sammy stands Darby up to ROCK him, then push him around. Sammy drags Darby up and THROWS him into railing! Sammy talks more trash, then walks around commentary so he can take a headset and tell everyone what he’s doing as he does it! He stomps Darby, taunts him, then has to go follow Darby around the way.
Sammy follows Darby into the ring, stands him up, but Darby fires hands! Sammy KNEES low, KNEES again and again, then ROCKS Darby! Darby falls over, but Sammy CHOKES Darby on the ropes! The ref counts, Sammy stops, and Darby coughs and sputters again. Sammy has the legs, he puts Darby under the ring, CATAPULT GUILLOTINE! Darby writhes and coughs again, but Sammy steps out to the apron. Sammy looms over Darby, drags him up by his chain, and Collision returns to single picture. Darby fights the suplex, then blocks a kick to FLIP Sammy! Sammy lands on his feet, but Darby SHOTGUNS Sammy down!
The fans fire up as Darby rises again! Darby has his second wind and he builds speed to DIVE! Into a CUTTER on the floor! Sammy puts Darby back in, Sammy springboards in, but into a REAR NAKED CHOKE!! Darby catches Sammy now and the fans fire up! Sammy flails, reaches out, but Darby pushes him down with his body weight! Sammy still endures, crawls forward, and reaches the ROPEBREAK! Darby lets go and the fans rally up again. Fans hope these two “FIGHT FOREVER!” but this has to end somehow. Darby sees Sammy on the apron, and he goes to the corner! Darby climbs, but Sammy rolls to the far side.
Darby hops down, waits on Sammy to stand, and he runs up, but into an eye poke! Sammy hoe up, and he APRON DOUBLE STOMPS Darby down! Cover, TWO!! Sammy is frustrated but he drags Darby up to the top rope. Sammy climbs up to join Darby, but Darby fights the suplex! They trade body shots, and Darby SHOVES Sammy! Sammy backflips through! Sammy is right back up top, SUPER SPANISH FLY!! Sammy crawls to the cover, TWO! Sammy clutches his knee and grits his teeth. Sammy brings the kneepad down to release some pressure, then stands up. The fans rally as Sammy hobbles over to Darby, but Darby JAWBREAKERS!
Sammy staggers, Darby runs up and fires forearms! The fans fire up as Darby roars and runs, but into a SUPERKICK! Darby wobbles, Sammy runs, but Darby blows past! Springboard and COFFIN SPLASH! The fans fire up again as Darby fires fast hands, RAMS low, then hops on, CODE RED! Cover, TWO!! Sammy survives and Darby is stunned! The fans rally up as Darby has Sammy in the dragon sleeper! But Sammy fires knees, snapmares free, only for Darby to ELBOW him away! Darby climbs, but Sammy SUPERKICKS the legs! Torture rack and GO TO HOSPITAL! Darby staggers around, but Sammy torture racks again! GO TO HOSPITAL!!
Darby flops down and Sammy goes to the corner! Sammy goes up top, FROG SPLASH!! Cover, TWO?!?! Sammy has no words, English or Spanish, but Darby flops out of the ring. Sammy goes out after Darby, and he brings out the other table! The fans rally as Sammy brings it over to set up by ringside. Sammy makes sure it is angled just right before he puts Darby on it. The fans boo, but then Sammy goes to the corner! Sammy climbs, reminds us again that he’s loco, and Sammy SUPER 630s only through the table!! Darby avoids disaster, then he puts Sammy back in! COFFIN DROP!!! Cover, DARBY WINS!

Darby has made it clear that if MJF doesn’t sign said contract, Darby will never allow MJF to face him for the title again. We all know how important the title is for MJF, but is MJF willing to put his hair on the line for it? MJF just chuckles and moves on, but he notices the very bald Rick Knox, Bryce Remsburg, and the head of security, David Aponte. And then various bald members of the production staff…
And then even Christopher Daniels & Sonjay Dutt are there! Daniels and Sonjay chuckle before moving on, and then MJF sees John Silver flexing. Brandon Cutler, some arena staff, and even Tommaso Ciampa, all bald. Then last but certainly not least, Ricochet! He tells MJF that don’t worry, he’ll look great. Just not as good as Ricochet. AHA~! MJF storms off, will he have no choice but to choose between gold belt and chrome dome?

While we know the AEW World Tag Team Championship match will be a conglomeration of I Quit Match and New York Street Fight, THE Conglomeration will be waiting on the other side for their own tag title match. And let’s not forget that Matt & Nick Jackson want their own shot at those titles again. With that, can Freshly Squeezed work together with C&C and The Bucks? Or will the Psycho Killer, the Dogs, and the Top Guys all stand tall on the road to Double or Nothing?
The teams sort out and the teams just brawl it out! The fans cheer as The Bucks have The Dogs, Cope is after Ciampa, Christian is after Cash, and Dax brawls with Cassidy! Dax bumps Cassidy off buckles but Cassidy ducks the haymaker to waistlock. The Bucks, Cope & Christian clear everyone else out, then take the brawl outside! Dax ROCKS Cassidy to send him out, and the fans fire up as Matt fires hands on 100 Proof right by commentary! Ciampa whips Cope but Cope reverses, sending Ciampa into barriers! Cash sends Christian into railing, then CLOBBERS Cassidy! Nick fires hands on Finlay, Cassidy sends Cash into railing!
Cassidy and Dax meet in the ring, Dax ROCKS and CHOPS Cassidy, but Nick sends Finlay into railing! Dax DECKS Cassidy, throws hands on Cope, but Cope fires back! The fans fire up but the ref reprimands! Cope DECKS Dax, and wait, Christian and Cash are brawling in the crowd! Same for Matt and Connors! Finlay CLAWS Nick’s face, Cassidy ROCKS Dax, and Cassidy whips. Dax reverses, Cassidy goes up and out to then SMACK Dax off buckles! Cassidy goes up, Ciampa BOOTS Nick, and Dax trips Cassidy. Dax CHOPS Cassidy, climbs up after him, and goes to the very top! The fans boo but Dax stands Cassidy up, SUPER DUPER PLEX!
Dax then rolls through to suplex again, but Cassidy STUN-DOG MILLIONAIRES! Cassidy runs, tilt-o-whirls, and DDTS! Cassidy kips up, the fans fire up, but Finlay sends Nick into steel steps! #BigStoke grabs Cassidy’s foot, Cash CLOBBERS Cassidy! The fans boo but Dax puts Cassidy in the corner to tag Ciampa. FTR and the Psycho Killer mug Cassidy! The fans boo and the ref reprimands, but Ciampa stands Cassidy up. Cassidy blocks the chop! And he blocks another chop! The fans cheer but Ciampa kicks low and CHOPS again! The fans boo but Ciampa soaks up that heat. Ciampa drags Cassidy by a leg, turns him over, but Cassidy fights around!
Cassidy kicks and kicks but Ciampa drags him back! Cassidy turns to BOOT Ciampa away! Dax tags in and he CLOBBERS Cassidy! The fans boo but Dax flips them off. Dax whips Cassidy, runs up, but Cassidy dodges! Dax POSTS himself! Both men are down, hot tags to Cash and Nick! Nick rallies on FTR with haymakers, BLASTS Ciampa, but Cash kicks low! FTR whips, DOUBLE HIP- NO, Nick lands out, MEETING OF TEH MINDS! Then DOUBLE WHEEL KICK! The fans fire up as Nick then DROPKICKS Dax out! The Dogs run up, but Nick knuckle locks and CHOPS Finlay! Then Nick jumps over Connors, SUPERKICKS, and he goes for the corner!
Nick goes up, up, and “LUCHA LIBRE~!” FLYING ARM-DRAG RANA COMBO! The fans are thunderous and Nick tags Matt. Nick whips Finlay, Finlay reverses, but Nick goes up and over. Matt SUPERKICKS Finlay! Nick SHINING WIZARDS Connors, adds a GAMANGIRI, then The Bucks DOUBLE BULLDOG with the high-five! The fans fire up again as Matt winds up. Matt WRECKS FTR with a dropkick, then holds the way open, Nick FLIES onto FTR & Ciampa! But Connors back suplexes! Matt lands out, and NORTHERN LIGHTS! Roll through, NORTHERN LIGHTS! The Polar Express is getting going, and Finlay joins the ride! DOUBLE NORTHERN LIGHTS!
The fans are electric and it’s not just the volt green! Time for a SUPERKICK PARTAY~! Wait, Stokely grabs a foot each! The fans boo, the ref reprimands, but Stoke can’t even trip The Bucks up. The Bucks drag Stoke in! Stoke pleads for mercy, but FTR runs up! The Bucks dodge, mule kick, then SUPERKICK for Dax! SUPERKICK for Cash! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS on The Dogs! Then FTR is sent into The Dogs before DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! Ciampa runs up to waistlock but Nick switches. Ciampa BOOTS Matt away, ELBOWS Nick, but Matt dodges, PSYCHO KNEE into Cash! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS for Ciampa!
The fans fire up again, and The Bucks see C&C. They point to Christian, and the fans cheer! Christian steps in, the ref reprimands but Cope argues with the ref. This distraction lets Christian LOW BLOW Cash! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS for Cash! Christian covers, TWO! Cash survives, the fans boo, but Christian rains down fists while Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Christian puts Cash in the corner to CHPO, CHOP, and then rain down fists! Christian goes past TEN, maybe to fifteen, then stops. Cash sputters, Stoke talks trash, but Christian grabs Stoke! Cash CLUBS Christian, Ciampa HOTSHOTS the bad arm, and Ciampa hurries to tag in. Ciampa drags Christian around, SLAMS the bad arm off the mat, then SLAMS the arm again! Ciampa POSTS Christian, and Christian falls to the apron. The ref keeps his eyes on the rest of the team so they stay back. Ciampa goes out, and he SWINGS the bad arm into the post! Christian scrambles away, clutching the arm, but Ciampa taunts Cope with a wave.
Ciampa tags Connors, Connors tags Finlay, and The Dogs stomp away on Christian. Finlay clamps onto the bad hand, bends the fingers, then JAMS them into the mat! The ref reprimands but Finlay anchors Christian while he tags in Dax. Dax CHOPS Christian, DECKS him, then taunts Cope and The Bucks. The Bucks rally the fans, Cope coaches Christian up, but Dax brings Christian around. Christian blocks a shot to hit back, but then Dax kicks low! Dynamite returns to single picture as Dax UPPERCUTS Christian back to the corner. Stoke is on commentary suddenly to say Christian tried to steal Stoke’s watch, aka the watch Stoke stole from Christian.
But Christian fires back on Dax and the whole corner! Then he and Dax DOUBLE LARIAT! The fans fire up while both men are down! Christian crawls, but we can see Cash and The Dogs sneaking over! They and Ciampa YANK down Cope, Cassidy and The Bucks! The fans boo but Dax drags Christian back to center. Dax kicks and scuffs Christian, then talks trash. But Christian slips around to chicken wing the arms! Dax shoves Christian away, but Christian turns around, NOGGIN KNOCKER! Both men are down and the fans fire up again! Cope snarls as he rises up, hot tags to Cope and Connors!
The fans fire up as The Rated R Superstar rallies on everyone! LARIAT for Cash! ELBOW for Dax! Cope TOSSES Finlay out onto Ciampa and Cash! BOOT for Connors! The fans fire up again and Cope goes to a corner. Cope is feeling it, and he aims at Connors. But then Finlay grabs a leg! The fans boo, but Nick SUPERKICKS Finlay! Connors runs up, Nick RAMS him low! Then slingshot FACEBUSTER! And cartwheel ASAI MOONSAULT! COPE-O-SETIC for Connors, TWO! The fans rally as Cope keeps focus on Connors. Cope drags Connors up, whips him to the corner, then Nick runs up! Connors puts Nick out, then he puts Matt out!
But Christian is back, and he coordinates with The Bucks, LARIAT DOUBLE ENZIGIRI on Connors! Then Cassidy somersaults for a “powerful” back elbow! Finlay runs up, Cassidy kicks the legs out! Finlay hits buckles but Ciampa runs up! Christian sends him into Cash, then dragon sleepers Ciampa. Christian sees Dax run up, kicks him low, and gets him in the same hold, DOUBLE REVERSE DDTS! The fans fire up as FTR, Ciampa and Finlay are all in drop zones! “This is Awesome!” as Cassidy, Christian and The Bucks climb the corners. Connors runs up on Cope, but Cope snatches him into a facelock!
Cope acts as air traffic control as he coordinates everyone, QUADRUPLE MACHO ELBOWS before an IMPALER!! Cover, TWO!! Connors survives and the fans can’t believe it! Ciampa and Finlay get up, The Bucks BLAST them, then DIVE! Down they go at ramp side, then Christian and Cassidy bump into each other. The fans cheer “A E DUB! A E DUB!” for making this the opener! Cassidy puts his hands up, but Christian stops him. Christian shakes his head, but then Cassidy makes Christian put his hands in his pockets! The fans fire up as Christian just THROWS Cassidy out onto FTR! Christian then goes up, up, and SUPER CROSSBODIES The Dogs!
Cope calls out a shot, runs, but into a SHATTER MACHINE!! FTR snatches Cope outta nowhere, Connors makes the cover, but Cassidy breaks it! The fans fire up as now FTR has Cassidy surrounded. But Cassidy “unleashes” his kicks! The fans go nuts with every shot, but FTR shoves Cassidy! SHATTER- DOUBLE SUPERKICKS on Cash! Cassidy fights free of Dax, but Dax blocks Nick’s Superkick! Dax sends it into Matt! Nick SUPERKICKS through after all! Finlay clinches, IRISH CURSE BACKBREAKER on Nick! Matt feints the kick to DDT! But then Ciampa KNEES Matt down! Christian chicken wings Ciampa, turns him around, KILLSWITCH!
Connors JEEP FLIPS Christian! Connors then stalks Cope while the fans boo. Connors lines up a shot, Cope rises to his feet, Connors runs in! But Cope jumps over Connors’ spear, sending it into Dax! The fans fire up, Stoke freaks out, and The Bucks join Cope in the ring. They TRIPLE SUPERKICK Connors! Cassidy is in, ORANGE PUNCH! SPEAR from Cope!! Cover, C&C Conglomeration Bucks win!

Another star-studded 10 Man Tag, and it was a huge win for all the hungry contenders. Christian doesn’t wanna celebrate, but he does signal that he and Cope will be champions. Will putting their tag team legacy on the line be enough to take the gold? Or will Double or Nothing be the last night that team reeks of awesomeness?
Will Ospreay continues to train with The Death Riders.
They’re outside this time, Claudio Castagnoli playing some wall ball with Marina Shafir and Pac. Daniel Garcia says, “Tonight is the night that we’ve all been waiting for: The Aerial Assassin, Will Ospreay, is cleared and back on Dynamite. And rumor has it, the kid’s been working real hard and he’s got some new tricks up his sleeves. So Young Boy Billy, tonight you gotta show me something, c’mon.” Garcia gets a quick turn in on wall ball while cameras move over. Ospreay is maintaining a neck bridge while Jon Moxley uses Wheeler Yuta as a living dummy to show just how to push and pull and bend and twist on the various chinlocks and headlocks.
Use the right arm to push against the head, then snake in the left arm for the sleeper. Pry and shoot. Moxley asks how Ospreay feels. Ospreay lets off the bridge and says honestly, the best he’s felt in forever. Moxley asks if Ospreay remembers the night he won the Best of the Super Juniors. Yeah, 2019. AKA a lifetime ago. Ospreay was carefree, flew like a bird, for no other reason than that’s just what birds do. So simple back then, chasing that feeling, like no other feeling in the world. Can’t really grab it in your hands for more than a few seconds. The joy of doing it. Then everybody comes in and tries to make it so overcomplicated.
Years pass, life happens, a family starts, responsibilities show up, bad things happen, bad choices catch up to you, and it’s all weight on your shoulders. You feel like you can’t fly. But Moxley will tell you something: Nothing is different. Nothing has changed. All those things are still gonna be there, but you can still fly. You’re just more dangerous now. You’re a bird of prey. Just like Davis did when he defeated Jack for the AEW National Championship at Fairway to Hell. Hold it with pride, Davis, Ricochet knows you’ll do it well. Davis says he’s got this. Ricochet says Davis has joined the dream team, but he’s not the only one. Because compliments to Ricochet’s golfing buddy, Don Callis, look who else he’s sending: Andrade El Idolo! Gracias, amigo. But it doesn’t stop there, the train keeps rolling. Ricochet was just approached by two guys who have an ax to grind with the superkick sidekicks.
These two wanna fill out the last two spots, so who is Ricochet to say no to The Dogs? Finlay & Connors storm in, and Finlay says to put it simple, they will fight The Bucks in the streets, in the ring, but guess it’s fighting at Double or Nothing! Cage refreshes the ring count, drags Knight up again, and hits an APRON BACK SUPLEX! Knight writhes, Cage refreshes the count again, then he whips Knight into barriers! Knight practically falls into the laps of the front row! But Cage brings Knight around to CHOP him down! Cage soaks up the cheers and jeers before he brings Knight around again. Cage SMACKS Knight off the apron, then puts him in the ring. Cage storms into the ring, drags Knight by his legs, and ties the legs up into a TEXAS CLOVERLEAF! Knight endures as Cage sits deep! Knight powers up, fights his way forward, and he reaches to the ROPEBREAK!
The ref counts, Cage lets go at 4, but Cage brings Knight up. Knight CHOPS, CHOPS, and CHOPS, but Cage still doesn’t back down. Knight fires more shots, but Cage UPPERCUTS him down! AEW reveals the Men’s Owen Hart Memorial Tournament Brackets!
This year’s tournaments will go through Double or Nothing, and the finals will coincide with Forbidden Door 2026 on Sunday, June 28th in San Jose, California! The winner of each tournament will then challenge for THE AEW World Championship and AEW Women’s World Championships on August 30th at All In: London! And so, for the opening round, it will be: “Jungle” Jack Perry VS Mark Davis; Claudio Castagnoli VS Brody King; then Double or Nothing has both Samoa Joe VS Will Ospreay, and Swerve Strickland VS Bandido!

We’ve seen the Aerial Assassin training with The Death Riders, he’s won gold with his old friends in The United Empire, and now he’s about to face a dangerous man at Double or Nothing. Will Ospreay be more than ready for Samoa Joe after tonight? Or will he fail to even get past The Inevitable?
The bell rings and the fans cheer Ospreay as he stares down with Ace. Ospreay offers a handshake, Ace accepts, and the fans cheer the sportsmanship. They circle, tie up, and Ospreay wrenches to wristlock. Ace rolls, handsprings, and wrenches, but Ospreay rolls, kips up, and wrenches back. Ospreay hammerlocks, Ace rolls to kip up and wrench to then armlock. Ospreay endures the grind, fights around, and he arm-drags Ace down. Ace endures, fights around, and rises up. Ace shoots through to waistlock but Ospreay switches. Ospreay hits the headlock takeover, Ace headscissors, but Ospreay kips free.
The fans cheer the standoff, and the two reset. They feel things out, knuckle lock, and go shoulder to shoulder in a Test of Strength. The fans rally as Ace pushes Ospreay back. Ace has Ospreay down for a knuckle lock cover, ONE as Ospreay gets his arm up. Ace pushes it down, cover, ONE as Ospreay gets the other arm up. Ace tries again, ONE as Ospreay bridges! Ace jumps up, but Ospreay holds the bridge! That training truly pays off! Ace jumps, Ospreay gets him for a MONKEY FLIP! The fans fire up as Ospreay then arm-drags! Ospreay isn’t done with just one, he aims from the corner and… Ace flops over! The fans boo but Ospreay shows no mercy. He just runs up to PENALTY KICK the bad arm! Then a FLYING ARMBAR TAKEDOWN!! That might’ve been Ospreay’s first win by submission ever! He signals that his neck is no longer a problem, and he shows Ace respect for that fight. Ace accepts the handshake again, and Ospreay is moving on towards Double or Nothing with a great amount of momentum. But wait! SAMOA JOE is here! He and The Opps walk out on stage, and with mic in hand, Joe says, “Ospreay, Ospreay… OSPREAY, OSPREAY!” Joe is clearly mocking the chants for Ospreay, and the fans give genuine chanting and even singing in return. Joe says he just wanted to make sure Ospreay was listening, because these past few weeks, it seemed like Ospreay had a hard time hearing him.
Despite Ospreay’s best efforts, fate has put them on a collision course in the opening round of the Owen Hart Cup. The fans like the sound of that! Joe say she is here for one reason and one reason alone. He wants to speak about choices and consequences. Ospreay could’ve made the right choice and get a bye in this tournament, because that is what Joe would do for one of his friends. But Ospreay chose poorly. He could’ve been with the team that would do nothing but support and enhance Ospreay, but he decided to be a lapdog for Moxley and the Death Riders. The fans boo, Ospreay says he’s not a Death Rider.
Joe says Ospreay has made his choice, and come Double or Nothing, Joe makes Ospreay suffer the consequences. But Joe leaves Ospreay in peace tonight, for he has his date with destiny. But unfortunately, Joe’s friends, Katsuyori Shibata & Anthony Bowens, still feel slighted, and he doesn’t put leashes on his friends. Shibata & Bowens storm down the ramp, Ospreay ready to fight them both if he has to. But then The Death Riders appear! Ospreay may not have officially joined the club, but the Death Riders aren’t going to let their investment go to waste! The Opps say they’re #NeverLacking, but that doesn’t seem to be the case now!
Shibata & Bowens back down while Moxley, Marina, Claudio, Yuta, Garcia & Pac all step up to support Ospreay. Joe says, “Soon. Soon.” The fans cheer the Death Riders, or at least Moxley, but Bowens promises Joe is gonna kill you, Ospreay! The dream match for Double or Nothing is on, but will the training with The Death Riders make Ospreay the new King of Harts?

Konosuke could be heading into Double or Nothing as a- Callis stops Renee there to say Konosuke will be heading into Double or Nothing as a DOUBLE champion! But then MJF steps in, apologizes for the interruption but says Renee’s doing a great job. The Scumbag tells Konosuke that while it’s been a minute since the two of them have talked, three years actually, back when MJF beat him… MJF has seen Konosuke develop into truly one of the best wrestlers in the world!
MJF believes that tonight, Konosuke beats Darby for the title, goes to DON to beat Okada, and MJF can’t think of a better match than Konosuke VS MJF Part 2 for the world title. How’s that sound? MJF offers a handshake, Konosuke shakes his hand, but in Japanese, Konosuke tells MJF that he’ll beat the crap out of him. Thankfully, MJF doesn’t know Japanese. Callis says that was a nice pep talk MJF just gave, and MJF says yes, he knows. That kid needs to win, okay? MJF can’t let Darby turn him into some disgusting, bald freak! No offense, Callis looks great. But look, there is only one foolproof way to know MJF won’t be put in that situation.
So if things get hairy… MJF hands over the Dynamite Diamond Ring! Callis smiles, and say she understands what to do with it. But then in steps Andrade. El Idolo takes off his hat to shake out his amazing head of hair, and smiles at MJF. MJF frowns and leaves. Callis says here’s the deal: Takeshita will bring the world title home to the Don Callis Family tonight! Andrade asks, “How you know?” Callis says aye dios mio, he seriously doesn’t know where Andrade learned English. Andrade says one way or another, the next time, that will be HIS title. Callis says yes, he knows, it’s all good. Callis is a man of many talents, but will his family be dripping with gold thanks to a diamond ring?

Double or Nothing will see Willow Nightingale, the reigning Queen of Harts, take on Alex Windsor, while we will see Persephone VS Hazuki, Skye Blue vs Sareee, and Mina Shirakawa VS Athena! Champions from around the world are gathering for this tournament, but who will be headed to Forbidden Door, and then All In: London?

Renee Paquette is now with Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong, and Willow Nightingale. Renee commends Cassidy on his part in the 10 Man Tag victory. But it seems that there is even more business to attend to. Cassidy says yes, the team has a shot at THE AEW World Tag Team Championships. It doesn’t matter who it is, they’re getting their shot, but the thing is… They still haven’t decided on which two will be. Kyle says Cassidy & Roddy should go for the gold, but Roddy shouts, “KYYYLE~! Thank you.” Kyle says of course. But that’s cuz he’s got gold to chase for himself!
The same man that put Kyle on the shelf for months is the man that Kyle submitted twice, and will submit again. Jon Moxley, Continental Champion, when are we doing this? Willow says speaking of gold, she is still the TBS Champion. But she is also in the Owen Hart Cup. She won this tournament before, she’ll do it all over again, so that she can have all the gold for herself at All In: London. She knows she can, and she will! Then Conglomeration has it all in order? Cassidy says hold on, there’s something missing. They should do a Word of the Day. Why haven’t they done one in so long? Roddy shouts for “MAAARK~!” And yes, Mark Briscoe returns!
The Sussex County Chicken is all fired up, and he says the Word of the day is reunification! For Mark Briscoe is back with his boys and his girls, The Conglomeration! But he’ll put this plain and simple: Tommaso Ciampa! Next Wednesday, Briscoe’s after your ass, son! You hear him? But before that, Saturday Night Collision is in HIS hometown, Salisbury, Maryland! That’s just 4.4 miles from where Briscoe originated on this earth! They’re gonna conglomerate and it’s gonna be a a hell of a time! Are you ready!? Willow and Kyle are fired up, Briscoe goes wild, and the team heads out. Cassidy admits, that was a lot of yelling.

With the news of both the AEW Women’s World Championship Fatal 4 Way for Double or Nothing, and the Owen Hart Cup brackets, this trios match is about much more than just settling scores! Will the Shining Samurai be just as sharp as Jamie Hayter going into that title match? Or will Thekla, Skye Blue & Julia Hart continue to bring them down by any means necessary?
The trios sort out and Jamie steps up against Thekla as both a rematch from their 1v1 title match, and a preview of what’s to come in the next. They circle, but then Skye CLOBBERS Jamie! Julia steps in, but so do Shida and Windsor! The Triangle throws hands on Shida & The Birds, then triple whip. But all three reverse, a BOOT for Thekla, a DDT for Skye, and a BACKBREAKER for Julia! The fans cheer as The Triangle bails out! Shida goes out to keep after Skye while Windsor goes after Julia. Jamie gets Thekla back in the ring while Shida and Windsor have the Sisters of Sin in the corners of the barriers. The fans cheer as they all rain down fists!
Windsor, Jamie & Shida all go to nine, then wind up for TEN! The fans cheer again while Thekla sputters. Jamie snap suplexes, but Skye ROCKS Shida! Jamie stomps Thekla, Windsor SLAMS Julia off barriers, and Jamie stomps a mudhole in the corner. The ref counts, Jamie lets off, but Skye and Windsor meet while tightrope walking the barriers! Skye and Windsor trade shots, they wobble a bit, then Skye DECKS Windsor! Skye keeps from falling into the crowd, but Jamie gets her! Windsor joins in and the Birds double gorilla press, SNAKE EYES off the apron! The fans fire up, but Thekla is up top! SUPER CROSSBODY onto The Birds!

Thekla stomps Windsor, CLUBS Jamie, then helps Skye. But Shida runs up, only for Thekla to ELBOW her down! The Triangle has control again, they ROCK Jamie and Shida and Windsor, then send them all to the desk. The Triangle CHOP again and again and again! Then they wind up, but feint chops to SMACK all three off the apron! The Triangle soaks up the cheers and jeers before putting Jamie back in the ring. Thekla brings Jamie up, snapmares her down, then basement SUPERKICKS! Cocky cover, TWO! Thekla drags Jamie to the corner, tags Julia, and Julia runs up to LARIAT! Then she goes side to side to ELBOW Jamie down!
Julia snapmares Jamie to a cover, TWO! Julia is annoyed but she rains down fists. The ref reprimands, Julia stops, but then she sucker punches Windsor! And Shida, too! Julia then drags Jamie over, bumps her off buckles, and tags in Skye. Skye stomps Jamie around, then digs her boot in! The ref counts, Skye stops at 4, then she brings Jamie up. Skye whips Jamie into Julia’s grasp, and Skye BLASTS Shida & Windsor while Julia tags Thekla. Julia has Jamie in the TARANTULA, and Skye sends Windsor in for Thekla’s HANGING HEADSCISSORS! Skye runs up to DOUBLE SHOTGUN The Birds! The fans are torn but Thekla says that’s how the Triangle does it, baby! Thekla then aims to MISSILE- NO, Jamie gest under! Thekla lands out, but Jamie BOOTS her down! Jamie looks at Shida, Shida is hesitant, but Shida tags in! The fans cheer as Shida sends Theknla to the corner, then JUMP KNEES! Shida keeps moving, she BLASTS Skye! Julia ROCKS Shida back!
Julia storms in but Shida kicks her and whips her into Thekla! Shida KNEES them both in the corner! Then Shida puts Thekla sideways in the corner, reels Julia in, and she snap suplexes Julia into Thekla! The fans fire up as Shida then suplexes Thekla high and hard! Cover, TWO! Cover, but The Birds CLOBBER The Sisters of Sin onto it! The fans fire up a Windsor DECKS Skye and Jamie HEADBUTTS Julia! The Birds drag Shida to safety, Windsor tags in, and she CLOBBERS Thekla! Windsor CLUBS away, then fires the fans up. Jamie steps in, BOOT RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP COMBO! Basement LARIAT! And then Windsor lifts! Jamie runs up, but Skye trips Jamie! The fans boo but Skye sends Jamie into steel steps!
Thekla sends Windsor into buckles! Tag to Julia before Shida runs up, TAMASHII KNEE on Thekla! Skye SUPERKICKS Shida! Jamie is back to clinch and HAYTBREAKER! Julia runs up, slips around, SOLE FOOD! Julia kips up, but Windsor is there to whip Julia to ropes! Skye tags in before the SPINEBUSTER! Skye SUPERKICKS Windsor, then brings her up! Skye hops on, CODE- NO, Windsor pops free! The Toxic Spider doesn’t care about this win, she just wants to do damage! Skye gets Windsor in a DRAGON SLEEPER! The ref stops Thekla from sing the title belt again, so Thekla just takes off her own belt! And she LASHES Windsor while Skye holds her down! More refs rush out here, but Julia MISTS the newbie in the face! Julia stomps away on Jamie, not caring about fines or consequences, either! The fans boo, and Shida is bailing on the Birds? Shida cares more about her chances in that Fatal 4 Way than anything else. But then Willow, Mina, and even Thunder Rosa rush out here! They chase The Triangle off with belts of their own!
The fans cheer as The Babe, the Fighting Gravure Idol & La Mera Mera save the day. But will Jamie make sure Thekla and Shida pay for this at Double or Nothing?

They say “card subject to change,” and that is true even for the best in the world. Kazuchika Okada’s real family takes priority, but his Don Callis Family brother was more than happy to step up for this opportunity. Will The Alpha already have two belts by the time he and The Rainmaker battle over the International Championship? Or will Darby truly be relentless in his pursuit of being the best fighting champion in AEW history?
The introductions are made, THE belt is raised, and we see who goes to Double or Nothing on top!
Callis joins commentary to say that while Darby’s been breaking his own body, Konosuke has perfected “rejuvenation training,” aka relaxing on a beach and sipping sake! The bell rings, and Darby SHOTGUNS Konosuke out! Then Darby DIVES, but Konosuke catches him! Konosuke POSTS Darby, then THROWS him into railing! Konosuke THROWS Darby into the ring, the fans fire up for both guys, and Konosuke hurries to BOOT Darby off the apron! Darby falls in front of commentary but Konosuke gets him right back in the ring. Cover, ONE!! The fans rally as Darby shows his grit, but Konosuke snarls.
Konosuke drags Darby up, Darby fires forearms, but the ALPHA ELBOW knocks Darby down! The fans fire up while Konosuke looms over Darby. Konosuke stands Darby up, and THROWS him into a corner! Darby bounces off the buckles and is bleeding from the mouth already! Konosuke stands Darby up, hoists him up top, then he climbs up after him. But Darby BITES Konosuke, CLUBS him down, and leaps for a CROSSBODY, but he bounces off Konosuke! The fans fire up again as Konosuke whips Darby for a BACKDROP! Konosuke goes out after Darby but Darby SMACKS him! Konosuke KNEES low, KNEES him again and again and again! Konosuke KNEES Darby against the barriers, then refreshes the count. Konosuke whips Darby hard into railing! Darby sputters as he leans against the railing, but Konosuke positions the steel steps. Konosuke then fetches Darby, lines up a shot, but Darby fights the suplex! Darby CLAWS Konosuke’s back, then fires a shot. Konosuke DECKS Darby in return! Darby slumps against the steps, Konosuke runs up, but Darby dodges! Konosuke’s knees hit the steps and he tumbles over! Darby then runs up the steps to SHOTGUN Konosuke down!
The fans fire up while both men are down on the floor! Konosuke checks his knee before he crawls around, and Darby gets in the ring so he can build speed! Darby DIVES! The ref hurries to check Darby but Callis tells Doc Sampson to call it. Darby is somehow still in this, so Konosuke storms his way over. Konosuke drags Darby up, puts him in the ring, then paces around him. Konosuke runs the ropes to LARIAT! Darby flips inside-out, Konosuke covers him, TWO!! Darby still has fight inside but he’s also dazed. Konosuke clamps onto Darby with a chinlock and squeezes tight. Darby endures, even as Konosuke leans on him with his much-taller frame. Darby reaches out, fights around, and rises up, only for Konosuke to CANADIAN RACK BOMB! Darby sputters all over again while Dynamite returns to single picture.
Konosuke sits back as he watches Darby crawl to the apron. Konosuke storms his way over, but Darby RAMS low! Slingshot sunset flip, but Konosuke rolls through! Only for Darby to kick the legs out! Darby catches Konosuke to a GUILLOTINE! Konosuke endures the squeeze, fights up to his feet, and he powers out to THROW Darby! Darby lands out, fires shots, and RAMS low! Darby then hops on, but Konosuke stops Code Red! Konosuke swings Darby around, tucks him in, BASTARD DRIVER! And WHEELBARROW GERMAN! The fans fire up and Callis says that’s true power! Darby sputters again and Konosuke vows to end this.
Konosuke runs corner to corner, HELLUVA KICK!! Then he hoists Darby up top, climbs up after him, and goes to the very top! The fans freak out already for the SUPER DUPER GERMAN SUPLEX!! Bridging cover, TWO!!! Callis is freaking out as much as the fans, and he protests the count! Konosuke is furious, but he aims for the WAGAMAMA KNEE!!! Cover, TWO?!?! Darby survives by nanoseconds, and Konosuke is beside himself! “This is Awesome!” but now CLØN rushes out here! He distracts the ref, and Callis hurries to take the Dynamite Diamond Ring off his finger to put it in Konosuke’s hands! Konosuke thinks about it, but The Alpha has honor!
The fans cheer as Konosuke wants to do this his way! But then Darby runs up, cradles, TWO!! Konosuke escapes, ALPHA ELBOW!! Darby is down, dazed, but still moving! Konosuke drags Darby up again, goes back to the corner and back to the top rope. The fans hope these two “FIGHT FOREVER!” but it has to end somehow! Darby fights against the lift with headlock punches! Then he hops on, SUPER CODE RED!! Konosuke staggers up, Darby leg scissors, steps through, LAST SUPPER!! TWO?!?! Konosuke escapes again, then bails out! So Darby just goes up top! SUPER COFFIN DROP!! Direct hit and both men are down again!
The fans are thunderous as Konosuke and Darby stir. A ring count climbs, Callis complains that some people just gotta follow directions and run the play! Coach Callis pulled Konosuke outta obscurity, Konosuke would do anything! Now he’s got some gold, some fame, and gets a mind of his own! Callis complaining aside, the ring count is climbing! Darby drags himself in at 9, but Konosuke YANKS him back out! That refreshes the count, and Konosuke vows to end this for real now. Konosuke points to the steel steps, and he drags Darby up onto them with a deadlift RAGING- NO, Darby knees Konosuke, turns things around, and FULL METAL SCORPION DEATH DROP!!!
The fans go nuts again while Konosuke writhes! Konosuke flops off the steps, Darby crawls into the ring, and Darby just climbs the corner again! SUPER DUPER COFFIN DROP!!! Konosuke might be unconscious! Darby still hauls Konosuke into the ring, pushes him to a cover, TWO?!?!? Konosuke survives and Darby is furious! But Darby just reloads, COFFIN DROP but onto knees!!! Ghost pin, TWO!!! Darby escapes but the WAGAMAMA KNEE finds him!! Konosuke hauls Darby up, but Darby pops free! Trip, step through, and SCORPION DEATH LOCK!!! Konosuke endures, reaches out, but Darby sits deep!!
Callis says don’t even think about it! Konosuke almost does, but he bites his own thumb to ignore the pain in his back! Konosuke reaches out, crawls his way forward, and he fights to the ROPEBREAK!!! But Darby is right up top! COFFION DROP on the back!! Then Darby goes right back up, COFFIN DROP again!!! Cover, DARBY WINS!!
Winner: Darby Allin, by pinfall (still AEW World Champion)
Callis is steaming, but Darby overcomes Konosuke to avenge that loss in the Continental Classic! But it also took so much out of him just to do it! Darby still asks for a mic and one is brought to him. Darby sits up against the ropes, has them cut his music, and he tells MJF to get his ass out here! There’s a contract MJF needs to sign! The ring crew hurries to bring in a table and some chairs for that very contract signing, and MJF makes his entrance. MJF reluctantly makes his way down the ramp, and both men meet at the table. Darby grins with blood still in hiss teeth, and he signs his part of the contract without hesitation, unlike MJF.
The fans already chant “BALD! BALD! BALD!” at MJF, and Darby pushes the contract to his side of the table. MJF grabs the pen, reaches out, but then steps away. MJF scratches his chin as he thinks on this, and the fans just chant, “BALD! BALD! BALD!” again. MJF takes a mic to say he’ll explain something to Darby, looking like he has rabies. But see, MJF is happy for Darby, he hopes Darby’s had fun holding MJF’s AEW World Championship. The fans boo that, but MJF says deep down, there is a small part of him, like the size of a North Carolinian p*nis small. That small part of MJF feels bad for Darby, because he’ll never hold this again!
Darby’s got about a good a chance of holding this title as Hangman Adam Page does again. MJF says guys like Darby are a dime a dozen, here today and gone tomorrow, stuntmen who burn the candle at both ends. In this life, people like all these fans here like to pretend that life is about making friends and family and children. The only thing that matters in life is your legacy. And Darby’s legacy will be that of the kid who had his 15 minutes of fame. They’ll pretend like Darby made a lasting impact, but the fact of the matter is, he hasn’t. He hasn’t! They’ll know deep down that Darby Allin was just a little pr*ck who got lucky.
They’ll know that Darby was too reckless and stupid to stay on top. And after May 24th, Double or Nothing, in that sh*thole of Queens, New York, y’know what MJF’s legacy will be? He’ll go down as the guy who became a THREE-TIME World Champion at just 30 years of age, unprecedented in this sport. And MJF will go down, when it’s all said and done, as the Greatest of All Time! THAT is the difference between them! Darby Allin brags about climbing a mountaintop. But when it comes to professional wrestling, Maxwell Jacob Friedman IS the mountaintop! The fans boo but MJF soaks it up. Darby tells MJF to SHUT UP!
Only someone like MJF who is so vain would think that the number one most important thing in this world is his legacy. Darby doesn’t care about legacy, he cares about living in the moment! And in this moment, Darby just wants MJF to sign the contract. Then at Double or Nothing, Darby makes Maxwell Jacob Friedman a BALLD HEADED B*TCH!! MJF frowns but the fans cheer that! MJF grabs the pen again, and with no choice, he signs on the dotted line! Then he TACKLES Darby! The fans boo as MJF beats up Darby after the war he went through with Konosuke! MJF CHUCKS an armchair outta the ring, FLIPS the table, then picks up his Dynamite Diamond Ring.
MJF puts the ring on his finger like always, then winds up to DECK Darby!! The fans boo but MJF just soaks it all up. MJF throws off his jacket, picks up the belt, and he stands over Darby with it. But then MJF isn’t done with Darby, he puts Darby on the top rope! MJF climbs up to join him, and drags Darby into position! But wait! Kevin Knight runs out here to chase MJF off! The Jet still owes The Scumbag a receipt, but it seems we’ll all have to wait on that. Will MJF still take back the title at Double or Nothing? Or will Darby keep the belt and take MJF’s dignity?
My Thoughts:
An awesome episode for Dynamite as things heat up towards Double or Nothing. Awesome 10 Man Tag to open, great win for the Faces, not that it added much to FTR VS C&C. Good promo from Jericho to look back on Stadium Stampede and hype up this year’s match. Good promo from The Demand with Davis and The Dogs, and I suppose this maximizes the feuds as well as the alliances throughout the locker room. Who knows who wins but the match will still be awesome, just as the original was. Good promo from Conglomeration, too, Cassidy & Roddy going after FTR while Kyle VS Moxley happens on the side, that’s great stuff.
Speaking of Moxley, great promo from him and Ospreay. Moxley’s semi-turn has really brought out his sage philosophical side. Great match from Ospreay VS Ace, and while Ospreay could always bring out his aggression, seeing him use more technical wrestling and even winning with a submission is good stuff. Good promo from Joe, and I liked Death Riders backing Ospreay up. Very good Owen Hart Cup brackets this year, Joe VS Ospreay is a great choice given this story, but I would think Ospreay wins that one. Good promo from Jack Perry to call out Davis, and I suppose Jack can win in the Owen Cup to then move on from the National title.
Great seeing Brian Cage back, he gave Knight an awesome match, but with JetSpeed wanting to go on a Two Man Power Trip, it makes sense Kevin won out. Same for Bailey beating Westbrook, even though Westbrook maybe went too hard on his own acrobatic escape. Great stuff in the Six Woman Tag, and I appreciate Shida didn’t ditch until after the match. Willow, Mina & Rosa might get their own Six Woman Tag with Triangle of Madness after that interaction, but also can’t wait to see if Willow can go back-to-back as Queen of Harts. For that matter, I personally would love to see Athena use the Owen Cup to move on from being ROH Women’s World Champion, but that depends on how Supercard of Honor goes this Friday.
And of course, another wild instant classic from Darby as he overcomes Takeshita. I knew the diamond ring would come into play with that reverse effect, good way of protecting Takeshita in the loss. Good stuff with MJF tonight, too, such as the opening segment’s parade of bald men to send the message to MJF. That was also a unique contract signing segment in that it came together so quickly after the main event match. Good stuff from MJF as always, and of course he attacks Darby. I feel like either Knight should not have made the save, or both parts of JetSpeed should’ve made the save. It just seems odd that only Knight cared about saving Darby. The closing moment was much better when it was MJF standing over Darby with the belt.
