AEW shares footage from MJF’s visit to Rev-Pro.
The (self-proclaimed) American Hero visited the top British promotion, and old stomping grounds of one Will Ospreay, in order to take on one Michael Oku. MJF defended his AEW “American” Championship, and won an epic battle with “The Master Of The Half-Crab,” only to disrespect Oku with a belt shot after! MJF even hit a Tiger Driver 91 on Oku, just as promised! But as MJF was about to cross yet another line and hurt Oku’s fiancé, Amira, Ospreay appeared and ran MJF off! The Aerial Assassin wants his revenge as well as his International Championship back, will he have them both in Wembley?
AEW hears from both MJF and Will Ospreay.
The Wolf of Wrestling says, “We’re getting one of the biggest matches you can possibly get, we’re getting MJF VS Will Ospreay Part 2.” Ospreay says, “August the 25th, Wembley Stadium, it’s time for me to lead AEW into a new generation.” Some kid from Essex has grown up, going from Rainham Social Club Halls with 50 people, to NJPW Wrestle Kingdom in the Tokyo Dome, to now Wembley Stadium last year, All In London 2023. But this is Ospreay’s legacy. When it comes to being best in the world, only one man truly fits that. And ever since he’s come to AEW, Ospreay sees that the game has changed.
Everyone is leveling up because Ospreay is here, and yet MJF says the best in the world is NOT Ospreay, it is Maxwell Jacob Friedman. An unknown in New York who scratched and clawed to become a generational talent who has, by hook or by crook, beaten some of the best around. He doesn’t need NJPW to make him who he is, because MJF made MJF. No more friends, no more mercy, but clearly still the same old MJF. Their first match was a 59:58 epic that MJF plays off as an “easy dub,” and he insulted the International Championship by throwing it away to create the American Championship.
MJF says this title is now the most important title in the history of professional sports. Ospreay says it isn’t even about the belt, it’s about insulting the work put in by everyone before him. MJF says he is now, always has and always will be the face of AEW. Ospreay is great, but he still isn’t MJF, because Ospreay lacks what it takes to be a real champion, a real king of this sport, and what that is, is killer instinct. MJF will pull the trigger, hit Ospreay with the Tiger Driver 91, and he will hold onto the title. Ospreay admits he did take his eye off the ball once. And he has this internal struggle of just doing the move and taking a win.
MJF says fact is, he won, he’s champion, and he’ll beat Ospreay again. Ospreay says last year, MJF made everyone giggle with his main event. Ospreay’s not coming to make anyone laugh. MJF isn’t just dealing with Ospreay, he’s dealing with an entire stadium of Englishmen wanting to see Ospreay rip MJF’s head off, and they’ll sing while it happens. MJF says in life, there are winners and there are losers, so he will do whatever it takes to win, and Ospreay doesn’t have that in him. But will MJF find out just how wrong he is? Maybe it’ll happen next week, because MJF and Ospreay will have one last face-to-face when AEW arrives in Cardiff!
PAC speaks.
He tells the cameraman to get in close here. “Tell me, who’s the #1 contender to the International- Sorry, the ‘American’ Championship, huh? No, no, no, it’s not Will Ospreay. It’s ME! But you see, Willy Boy, he goes behind my back, he swans into Tony Khan’s office, and he sanctions himself an International title match for Wembley Stadium…? Oi…! I am sick of this corrupt! Constantly overlooked, manipulated, and treated like a bum. That was my ticket to my Wembley Moment. But it’s okay, I’ve sanctioned myself some revenge.
“I will face whoever leaves Wembley International Champion, two weeks later, September 7th, Chicago, Illinois, in the very same arena where I beat Kenny Omega five years ago. So whether it’s MJF, or whether it’s Will Ospreay, at AEW All Out, I am taking back what’s mine, and reminding the entire world what The Bastard is capable of. Now get out. GET!” Pac pushes the camera away, will he make sure no one is safe after going All In?
Darby Allin speaks.
“Year’s ago, on the independents, I’m killing myself for nothing. Absolutely nothing. We’re talking 25, 50 dollars a night. And I think, ‘What’s the endgame for a guy like Darby Allin?’ Then I hear AEW’s starting. I didn’t even know what AEW is, but apparently it’s a place where you can actually be yourself. I knew I had to stop at nothing ’til I got there. I’m homeless, living in my car, and then I get this news update that AEW has signed ‘Jungle Boy’ Jack Perry. And I think to myself, ‘Who the F is ‘Jungle Boy’ Jack Perry?’
“And then it hits me, that AEW is a place where The Elite are just gonna hire their friends. Yeah, it’s cool, Jungle Boy did a couple of indies in California. He didn’t really have to sacrifice much to get to AEW. It’s good. After all these years, Jack Perry, you can finally be yourself. Because what was Jungle Boy? Ain’t nobody believed in that Tarzan BS. It’s good. You’re actually yourself now. Which is a child who takes everything for granted! I don’t think you understand how important a place like AEW is. Because if you did, you would treat it with respect.
“Every week, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, I got out there and I kill myself, because I don’t take any of this for granted. Y’know, last year, with all that dumb s*it that you pulled, I really wished you’d gotten fired. Because I don’t think anybody would miss you. I wouldn’t miss you. The fans wouldn’t miss you. What have you added to AEW? At Wembley, we’re gonna put this to an end.” The Relentless One has spoken, will he make sure The Scapegoat knows true sacrifice?
Darby Allin is here!
Norfolk cheers as The Relentless One steps out on stage, but then someone CLOBBERS him from outta nowhere! They have a beanie and mask on, and surprise! It’s Jack Perry! Jack soaks up all the heat from Norfolk before he rains down fists on Darby! Jack lets his hair down, then drags Darby up to shove him back through the tunnel! The beating continues backstage, and he throws Darby into road cases! Jack climbs up, but Darby trips him up! Darby CHOKES Jack, Jack CLAWS Darby’s face! Jack CHUCKS a trash can into Darby’s head! Then he CHUCKS Darby into a garage door! The door was open just enough to basically clothesline Darby down!
Jack then pushes the door down onto Darby!! Darby is being crushed, something about this seems familiar. Jack tells the “self-righteous little bastard” that he only sacrifices for himself and pretends to be a hero! Jack SPITS on Darby, leaves him behind, and brings a road case around! Security rushes in but Jack shoves them down! But then more guards get in the way of the case! Jack is denied running Darby over, but he vows to end Darby once and for all at Wembley! Jack says he’ll even beat Darby at his own game! The TNT Championship match is now a COFFIN MATCH!! The Scapegoat is raising the stakes, but who comes away paying the price?
AEW presents: Mariah May.
The Glamour admires herself in the mirror under black ‘n’ white filter, but then she tells us, “We’re not doing that s*it.” In full color, she asks us, “Is it better to be remembered? Or to be forgotten? To be put in the ground, or to go up in flames? To be me, or to be you (Toni Storm). Last year at Wembley Stadium, you failed. I copied your successes, but never your mistakes. This year, it’s All About Mariah, and not about you. Your greatest mistake was being alive at the same time as me. You wanted to be a star? Well now, it’s time to burn. You will obsess over me until the day you die, and I… will forget you completely.
“I’ll forget your screams, your tears, even the taste of your blood. I have better things to do. One day, I’ll look out the window and wonder, ‘Whatever happened to Toni Storm?’ Don’t worry, darling. We’re both going to die. I just get to write your eulogy.” Mariah is ready to end #ToniTime, will it be May Day every day?
Backstage interview with Mina Shirakawa.
Renee is with Mariah’s first mentor, and says we haven’t seen her in AEW since Forbidden Door, where Mina, Mariah & Toni all left arm in arm. And now, those two are in a blood feud, has Mina had any contact with either of them? Mina says no, she hasn’t heard from Mariah or spoken with Toni. Mina is just shocked and heartbroken. She saw they were in love, and still loves them both. Did she expect this kind of transformation from either of them? No, Mina hasn’t seen Mariah ever be this vicious, and she has never seen Toni so obsessed with revenge. She cannot believe these are the same people!
Then who does Mina feel walks away the winner at Wembley? Mina doesn’t know, but she just hopes no one gets seriously hurt. Will that sadly be the only way this ends between Mariah and Toni?
All In Casino Gauntlet Qualifier Triple Threat: Roderick Strong VS Kyle O’Reilly VS Orange Cassidy!
Normally in a gauntlet, you would want to be the last man entered to have the best chance of winning. But given Casino Gauntlets can end at any time, starting things off is what gives you the best odds. The Savior of the Backbreaker complained about being denied even participating in the last one, will he turn that all around with a win tonight? Or will someone from The Conglomeration be making the most of this golden opportunity?

Kyle is pissed in himself for getting caught, but this is a lot like how a Casino Gauntlet can go! As chaotic as this Triple Threat was, how much crazier will it get when four, five or however many more men are battling for a shot at the world title?
Backstage interview with Claudio Castagnoli and Kazuchika Okada.
Renee Paquette is moderating the face-to-face of Swiss Superman and Rainmaker. They have agreed to no physicality here, as Claudio will challenge Okada for the Continental Championship next week for Dynamite: Cardiff. Renee wants to start with Claudio and “the beginning,” The Continental Classic. This championship was born, and what would having it mean to Claudio? Claudio says it would mean a lot to him. Claudio felt that the Continental Championship was meant to be his title, so when he wasn’t successful in the C2, it bothered him quite a lot. But life is not about how many times you get knocked down, but about how many times you stand back up.
And if you keep on fighting, you get a chance like this. Claudio knows this is going to be amazing, this is a first-time-ever match, and it is in Europe, so this time, Claudio plans on making it count. Renee goes to Okada and Okada applauds. “Nice speech. You’re very passionate. See? Uh uh uh uh uh~!” Okada laughs, and says twelve guys fought for this title. But there is only one champion, and it’s him, not Claudio. Okada is the greatest tournament wrestler of all time. He is a FOUR-TIME G1 Climax winner. Claudio will respect Okada when Okada beats him in Cardiff! And Okada vows to be champion even after this year’s coming Continental Classic.
“So… Good luck. B*tch.” The Rainmaker stares Claudio down while leaving, and Claudio says he really hopes he doesn’t get this version of Okada. This “uh uh” joker, this EVP lackey who just wants to make his friends laugh. No, Claudio wants THE Rainmaker, not this bootleg! He wants the man who DID win those four G1 tournaments! He wants the Tokyo Dome main eventer Rainmaker. Because Claudio is going to bring the best version of himself, the same way he does every single time he is in that ring! Claudio will be seven times better by this point next week, so Okada better be ready. Because in Cardiff, Okada will have 99 problems, and this “b*tch” is number one!
Backstage interview with The Patriarchy.
Renee is now with Christian Cage, Nick Wayne, Mother Shayna, and Killswitch-Luchasaurus, the AEW World Trios Champions. Renee brings up Captain Charisma being the special guest referee last Saturday on Collision, the #1 contenders match of Bang Bang Gang VS The House of Black, clearly taking matters into his own hands to protect these titles. But now, there is a big question mark as to how these titles will be defended at All In. Christian says yes, that is the million dollar question, isn’t it? Surely another trio will step up in the interim. But as far as last Saturday, Christian called that match right down the middle, just as he said he would.
“The Bang Bang Gang and The House of Black didn’t answer the bell, they couldn’t make the ten count, and that’s on them. And like I just said, I always keep my promises, I always do what I say I’m gonna do. I said we’d be the Trios Champions and we are. I said I was gonna win every single accolade there is to win in AEW, and I will. I am using this as a vehicle back to the World Heavyweight Championship. In fact, I am going to hold every single title at the same time!
“Now this Friday on Rampage, my son, Nick, has a match against that creepy weirdo, fatherless loser, Kip Sabian, and he’s gonna make an example out of him. Now unfortunately for you, Norfolk, I won’t be there in attendance because I don’t wanna associate myself with such bottom feeders.” Renee asks if that’s the reason why, or is Christian concerned about protecting himself from- Christian tells Renee that she’s had a condescending tone this entire time and he doesn’t appreciate it, he’ll take it from here. Step off his set. Renee leaves, and Christian tells her to stick to being a mom. She’s gonna be a worse mom than she is an interviewer.
Christian says that this is The Patriarchy! They are the Faces of TBS now and forever! Captain Charisma is as confident as ever, but will a trio step forward to tear down The Patriarchy?
Tony Schiavone is in the ring.
Schiavone starts by telling Christian Cage that on behalf of Virginia, they don’t want Christian here! The fans cheer that, and Schiavone moves on by bringing up last week, the return of one of the greats in AEW. Tonight, we get to talk to that man. It’s HOOOOK~! The Hook Signal appears, and out comes The Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil, that burned eye still bandaged up. Hook joins Schiavone in the ring, and Schiavone says we have seen the lows Chris Jericho will stoop to. From Shibata to Samoa Joe to Hook, how is his eye right now? Hook says he can’t see out of it. Hook then wants everyone to look at the bandages.
Does Jericho see what he did? He took that eye, sure. But does Jericho see the problem? Hook can see just fine with the other! Hook can still see Jericho, and he’s sick of this ish! Hook wants his title back! He wants to fight Jericho for HIS FTW Championship, and he wants it right here, right now, in Norfolk, Virginia! The fans want to see that! And here comes The Learning Tree! The “For The World” Champion of 116 days leads the way for Bryan Keith & “Big Bill” Morrissey, and Jericho of course waves and says, “Hi, guys~! Hi, Hook! And y’know one, Hook? You really are one stupid SOB.
“Even after I blinded you with a fireball, you still want to challenge The Learning Tree, to a fight, here in Norfolk, tonight? You wanna fight?!” The fans do! Jericho storms his way down the ramp, takes off his banana yellow jacket, and asks again, “You wanna fight!? You ain’t getting one.” The fans boo but Jericho says, “It’s not worth my time to fight you in Norfolk here tonight, Hook. But what is worth my time is Wembley Stadium. So I’ll give you a shot at the For The World Championship, at All In, but there’s a couple caveats first that you have to agree to.
“And the first one is this: When you have your shot at Wembley, it’s your final chance at the For The World Championship. And when I beat you, and I’m going to beat you, you’re done. You walk away from the FTW title, you walk away from The Learning Tree, and you walk out of the Jericho Vortex forever. Second caveat is next week, in Cardiff, you get to face, one on one, The Redwood, Big Bill!” And Bill tells Hook, “I’m gonna beat you down and I’m gonna shove you… Straight up Taz’s ass.” Hook chuckles, but Bryan Keith adds, “STRAIGHT UP HIS ASS!” So if Hook agrees to all that, see you at Wembley! Thanks~!
The fans boo Jericho as he waves, but Hook says yeah, he accepts. He’s looking forward to it. He’s looking forward to dumping “Big B*tch on his big ass head, and I’m looking forward to tearing you, Chris, limb from limb! Chris, after Wembley Stadium, you will never, ever be the same… again~!” Hook serves Jericho his own line, but will he be able to cut down The Redwood before going All In with The Learning Tree?
AEW World Tag Team Championships: The Young Bucks VS The Acclaimed!
There are title shots up and down the All In card, but this one couldn’t wait any longer! Matthew & Nicholas Jackson know FTR wants to revisit All In 2023, but Max Caster & Anthony Bowens want to remix the track to put their own spin on it. Will the “overall, fine gentlemen, very fine gentlemen” be the ones facing Dax & Cash? Or will The Best Wrestler Alive & The Five Tool Player be the ones taking the #TopGuysOut?
The introductions are made, but then Caster & Bowens attack from behind! No rapping, no scissoring, no playing around, Acclaimed is giving a beatdown! Caster is after Matt while Bowens CLUBS away on Nick! They all keep fighting on stage, The Bucks turn things around, and they reel The Acclaimed in! But then The Acclaimed STEREO BACK DROP The Bucks onto the ramp! Nick slumps off one side, Matt hurries to follow. Caster holds up the belts, and then Bowens CROSSBODIES The Bucks down! The fans fire up and The Acclaimed drag The Bucks down the ramp. The beating continues, and The Acclaimed put The Bucks in the ring.
But then The Bucks get moving! The Bucks STEREO WRECKING BALL DROPKICK! The fans boo but then The Bucks STEREO PLANCHA! Matt mockingly asks, “What was that?” while the fans boo, but now Nick holds up the belts. Matt puts Bowens in the ring, the bell sounds, and Matt storms up on Bowens. Bowens kicks low but Matt throws hands! Matt whips, Bowens KICKS back! Bowens keeps moving, LEAPFROG FAMOUSER! Cover, TWO! And here comes Billy Gunn to cheer on his boys! The fans fire up with Daddy Ass and Bowens drags Matt up. Tag to Caster, The Acclaimed double whip to DOUBLE ELBOW!
Nick storms in, but he gets a DOUBLE HIP TOSS! Then Caster TOSSES Nick. Caster goes to Matt, the fans fire up more, and Caster CLUBS Matt. Matt kicks low then whips, but Caster reverses. Nick sneaks a tag, Matt slides under Caster and whips him again. Nick jumps in, The Bucks double kick! Nick runs, Matt gives him the boost, and Nick DROPKICKS Caster down! The fans boo but The Bucks soak it up. Nick stomps Caster to a corner, then scrapes Caster’s face against ropes! The ref counts, Nick stomps Caster in the corner, then ROCKS him with a right. But Caster fires back in return! The fans rally, but Nick JAWBREAKERS!
Nick drags Caster up, tags Matt, and Matt climbs. Matt DOUBLE STOMPS Caster’s arm! Matt kicks Caster around, taunts him, then pie faces him. Caster pie faces back, then ROCKS Matt with a forearm! Caster keeps after Matt as Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Matt blocks a shot to ROCK Caster back! Matt kicks Caster around, snapmares, then tags Nick. Nick slingshot SENTONS! Caster sputters and Nick taunts Bowens. The ref has to keep Bowens back, and then Nick “tags” Matt in. Matt stomps Caster, digs his boots into Caster at the corner, the ref sees that and counts, and Matt lets off at 4. Billy warns Matt but Matt taunts Billy. Matt goes back for Caster, but Caster fires hands! Matt RAMS Caster into the corner! And then RAMS him again and again! Matt ROCKS Caster, then tags Nick. Nick drags Caster up, whips him back to the corner hard, and Caster falls to the mat.
Nick taunts Bowens then stomps Caster. Nick tags Matt, and Matt climbs up. Nick holds Caster in place for Matt to AX HANDLE! Matt kicks Caster around, brings him up, but Caster fires hands! Caster whips, Matt reverses, but Bowens tags in! Caster sunset flips, Matt stays up, so Bowens runs up, NECKBREAKER BACKBREAKER COMBO! Bowens then brings Matt to the corner to fire forearms! Caster tags in, The Acclaimed bring Matt around, and they double whip him back to the Acclaimed corner. Dynamite returns to single picture as Bowens runs up to forearm SMASH! Caster runs up to ELBOW! Bowens runs back in to SMASH!
Bowens feeds Matt to Caster for a scoop SLAM! Caster holds Matt up, Bowens goes up, and the fans fire up while Nick protests! Bowens calls for it but Matt UP KICKS Caster away! No timbers being scissored here! But there’s Billy! Matt wants Billy to calm down, but then Caster is there, too! Matt finds himself surrounded in enemy territory, but he jukes Caster! Nick PENALTY KICKS Caster, and Matt JAWBREAKERS Bowens! Billy chases Nick around the outside! Nick throws a chair but Billy catches it! The ref only sees Nick begging for mercy now! And the ref EJECTS Billy!? The fans boo as The Bucks pull one over on the ref!
Billy tells The Bucks they’re gonna pay, but things are back to 2v2. Matt smirks as he rains down fists in the corner! The fans boo more but Matt smirks at five. Then he CLAWS Caster’s face! Matt bumps Caster off buckles, tags in Nick, and The Bucks double whip to DOUBLE ELBOW! The Bucks flex in their classic pose, then Nick stomps Caster. Nick CLAWS Caster’s back, then CLAWS him again! Nick climbs up in a corner, and he rains down fists! Nick goes all the way to TEN, then lets off. Nick TOSSES Caster out, then snatches a “DUNG BUCKS” sign to RIP it apart! The fans boo but Nick shrugs. But Caster RAMS Nick into the apron!
Caster SMACKS Nick using the paper! Caster whips, Nick reverses and puts Caster in! Caster crawls for his corner but Nick hurries to CLAW Caster’s back! Tag to Matt, and Matt sends Nick in. Caster puts Nick on the apron, but Matt runs in! Caster dodges, the ENZIGIRI hits Matt! Guess that’s more a gamangiri now. But the fans are thunderous as Caster then dodges Nick! And dodges again, to hot tag Bowens! Bowens rallies on The Bucks, and he fires Rock, Paper Scissors SUPER- NO, Matt blocks that kick, and Nick SUPERKICKS Bowens! Matt cravats, Nick gives him the boost, SLICED BREAD! And SHINING WIZARD! Cover, TWO!
Bowens stays in this and the fans rally up. Matt fires hands on Bowens in the corner, then rains down more fists as Bowens sits down. Matt stands on Bowens, lets off as the ref counts, and Bowens stands. Nick HOTSHOTS Bowens, Matt brings him around and suplexes! Cover, TWO! Matt clamps on a chinlock, and Dynamite goes back to picture in picture.
Bowens endures, fights around, and fights up to fire body shots! Matt RAMS Bowens into buckles! Nick holds Bowens but Bowens elbows him back! Matt runs up, into a BOOT! Bowens hurries for his corner, but Matt scoops him! BACKBREAKER! Tag to Nick, and he hits a LEG DROP! Cover, TWO! Bowens stays in this but Nick stays on him with a rain of fists! Nick lets off for only a moment to rain down even more shots! Nick then scrapes his soles off Bowens! Nick taunts Caster, then brings Bowens up to go for the corner. Bowens blocks the buckle bump to fire body shots! Bowens fires forearms, elbows, but Nick WHEEL KICKS!
Both men are down and Caster rallies the fans. Nick tags Matt, and Matt drags Bowens up to put him in the ropes. Tag back to Nick while Matt has Bowens dangling! Nick goes up for the DRAPING SWANTON BOMB! Cover, Caster breaks it! The ref reprimands but Caster did what he had to do to keep The Acclaimed going! Bowens reaches out for his corner, but Nick facelocks to keep him down. Bowens fights up, throws body shots, then fires forearms! Bowens runs, into a SUPERKICK! Dynamite returns to single picture and Nick tags Matt. The Bucks stay between Bowens and Caster while they pump up the custom Reeboks!
The fans boo but The Bucks take aim, to DOUBLE SUPERKICK Caster! Bowens is isolated now, but he dodges the superkicks! He DOUBLE LARIATS on the return! The fans fire up with Bowens, but he still doesn’t have Caster! Bowens crawls over as he calls to Caster, and Caster drags himself up! Nick anchors Bowens but Bowens fires hands! They both stand, Bowens ROCKS Nick! Nick CLUBS Bowens! Nick back suplexes, but Bowens lands out! Bowens dodges Nick to hot tag Caster! The fans are thunderous as Caster rallies on Nick! Caster whips, Nick reverses but Caster hits a SLINGBLADE! Caster air guitars as a shoutout to Scissor Ace!
Matt runs up to headlock but Caster powers up and out. Caster drops, hurdles, and then trophy lifts Matt! Caster LAWN DARTS Matt at buckles! Then Caster LARIATS Nick up and out! Caster LARIATS Matt, and then PLANCHAS Nick! The fans fire up again and Caster puts Nick in! Caster climbs, and he CROSSBODIES Nick down! Cover, Matt breaks it! Bowens is there to ROCK Matt! Bowens CHOPS Matt in one corner, Caster has Nick in the other. The Acclaimed coordinate, whip, but The Bucks dosido. The Acclaimed dodge and then dosido, but The Bucks dodge! Only for The Acclaimed to block the kicks!
The Acclaimed spin The Bucks, but then DOUBLE DOUBLE LARIATS take everyone down! The fans are thunderous again, “This is Awesome!” Bowens and Matt bail out, a standing count is on Caster and Nick. Nick stands in a corner, Caster runs in but Nick dodges the splash! Nick GAMANGIRIS, then BULLDOGS! Caster sputters, Nick goes up the corner! SWANTON onto knees! Caster saves himself but it was a touch double-edged. Even so, Caster and Nick crawl, but Matt drags Bowens off the apron! POWERBOMB to the ramp!! Nick rolls Caster, with tights! TWO!! Caster escapes and Nick is beside himself!
Matt hurries back over, Nick tags him in. The Bucks drag Caster up, and they set up! But Caster slips free of the scoop and shoves Matt into Nick! Caster then waistlocks, but Matt backs him up into the ref! The ref gets sandwiched in the corner! The fans boo but Matt LOW BLOWS Caster! Matt doesn’t even care about the ref, he goes for the belts! Matt brings one into the ring and takes aim at Caster! But wait! FTR is here!! Dax snatches that belt from Matt, Cash checks on the ref, but Dax stands down. Matt eggs Dax on, and even SPITS at him!! Dax gest pissed, he TACKLES Matt!! The ref sees that, he calls DISQUALIFICATION!!
Winners: The Young Bucks, by disqualification (still AEW World Tag Team Champions)
The fans boo and The Acclaimed is furious! FTR just cost them! The ref tries to stop another fight from breaking out, but here comes Billy, as well as security! The fans are just as upset as Caster & Bowens, but The Bucks just slip away with big smiles on their faces. The bottom line for them is that they have the gold. But will the Bucks use their executive powers to give themselves the night off at All In?
Renee is backstage with Christopher Daniels, who is himself very disappointed. Renee says she had a question but now has to ask him about this. What does this mean for the tag title situation going into All In? The Fallen Angel says if The Bucks had legitimately defeated The Acclaimed, then he’d have no choice but to call FTR the new #1 contenders. However, that wasn’t definitive in any way. This issue between all these teams hasn’t ended. So while this result complicates the situation, Daniels has a very simple solution: Saturday Night Collision, FTR VS Acclaimed, the winners face The Bucks for the belts at All In. May the best team win!
Swerve Strickland w/ Prince Nana VS Wheeler Yuta!
The Realest AEW World Champion is preparing for Title VS Career, and what really could be the “Final Countdown” of Bryan Danielson, and he’s going to use Bryan’s “protege” to do just that. The Decoder has been training with The American Dragon like there’s no tomorrow, but will he be made an example to The GOAT? Or will Yuta use everything Bryan has taught him to tear down Swerve’s House?
Bryan himself is ringside so he can watch all of this in person. But at the same time, Swerve stares Bryan down, making sure he knows this same fight is coming for him. The bell rings and Yuta runs up, but into a BOOT! Yuta falls back, Swerve drags him up and runs to BOOT him again! Swerve then TOSSES Yuta out while the fans are thunderous for “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” Swerve dribbles Yuta off the railing, then drags him up to whip him into the steel steps! The steps move from the impact! Swerve then drags Yuta up, right in front of Bryan, and Swerve says none of that training is gonna help Yuta!
Swerve says Bryan is nothing anymore, and he’s gonna retire Bryan! Bryan still coaches Yuta, but Swerve puts Yuta in the ring. Swerve glares at Bryan before stepping back inside, and Yuta CHOPS! Yuta fires forearms and CHOPS, then he whips. Swerve blocks, and CHOPS back! Swerve whips Yuta to a corner, but Yuta goes up, only for Swerve to catch him in an Electric Chair. But Yuta spins through to arm-drag, and CHOP! Forearm! CHOP! Yuta keeps going, kicks, but swerve blocks to slip around and BACKBREAKER! Gator roll and suplex, for the BACKBREAKER! The fans fire up while Swerve snarls and looms over Yuta.
Swerve brings Yuta up, fireman’s carries, and then RAMS him into a corner! Swerve snapmares Yuta, goes up the corner, and FALLING UPPERCUTS! And he hits the Griddy! The fans cheer, and Swerve stares Bryan down. Bryan still coaches Yuta, and Swerve is amused. The fans rally up with Bryan, and Swerve goes back to Yuta. Yuta fires hands from below, but Swerve BOOTS him down! Swerve drags Yuta up, chicken wings him, to turn him around and put Yuta in a Muscle Buster Stretcher! Yuta endures this unique hold, and Swerve dumps him down into a ghost pin, TWO! Swerve ELBOWS Yuta down, then ties up the legs.
Swerve traps the legs, CLUBS Yuta, turns him over and has an Indian Deathlock! Swerve sits on the legs to put on the pressure, but Yuta endures. Yuta keeps his shoulders up, too, and Bryan rallies the fans again. Swerve rains down shots on Yuta but Yuta hits back from below. Swerve goes for knuckle locks but Yuta BITES one of Swerve’s hands! Swerve lets Yuta out of the leglock while the ref reprimands Yuta, but Yuta stands to bend Swerve’s fingers! Yuta has both hands, he trips Swerve, and he gives those DRAGON STOMPS! The fans are torn as Yuta uses a signature Bryan Danielson move, but Swerve kicks up from below!
Swerve hooks Yuta into a sunset flip, TWO! Swerve drags Yuta up, but Yuta RANAS the bomb, sending Swerve into buckles! Swerve tumbles out, Yuta DIVES onto him! Direct hit into the railing! The fans fire up and Bryan coaches Yuta more. Yuta puts Swerve in, climbs up a corner, and he CROSSBODIES, into a FUJIWARA ARMBAR! And then it’s an omoplata, for a LEBELL LOCK!! Swerve taunts Bryan with another of his signatures! Bryan coaches Yuta, but Nana has Norfolk behind “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” Yuta endures, and he rolls through! Yuta grabs an ANKLE LOCK! Now Swerve endures!
Swerve flails, powers up to his feet, and he reels Yuta in for an ELBOW! The fans rally, Swerve and Yuta stand up, and Swerve fires forearms! Swerve ROCKS Yuta, but Yuta rewinds! Swerve ducks the lariat to half nelson, but Yuta arm-drags free! And Yuta has Swerve for the HAMMER ‘N’ ANVIL ELBOWS! The fans fire up as Yuta then shifts around, tucks the arms and SEATBELT, TWO!! Swerve escapes Yuta’s signature, but Yuta runs up. Swerve boots him back, somersaults, but Yuta avoids the Complete Shot! Yuta hooks an arm, chicken wings, but Swerve fights! So Yuta waistlocks to GERMAN SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO!!
Swerve stays in this but Yuta holds onto the arms! Chicken wings are back but Swerve fights up. Swerve powers free to ELBOW Yuta again! Yuta snarls and SLAPS Swerve! Swerve just laughs! Yuta fires more shots, Swerve still laughs! Yuta CHOPS, mule kicks, but Swerve RISING HEADBUTTS! Swerve shakes that off as he goes to a corner, and the ref checks Yuta. Bryan coaches Yuta, but that was a bad shot under the chin. Yuta sits up, into a HOUSE CALL!! Yuta sputters, and Swerve dares him to get back up! Bryan looks concerned, the fans want that “ONE MORE TIME!” Yuta finds the power to sit up, but into another HOUSE CALL!!
Swerve drags Yuta up, because he has more to give! A THIRD HOUSE CALL!!! But that’s not all! Swerve copies the DRAGON STOMPS!! And Swerve even adds some ground ‘n’ pound! The ref checks, he CALLS it! Swerve wins!
Winner: Swerve Strickland, by referee stoppage
The ref tries to stop Swerve but he just keeps hammering Yuta! So Bryan jumps into the ring! The fans fire up but Swerve bails out. The Realest grins as he’s gotten under Bryan’s skin and in his head. But he has the music stop so he can tell Bryan, “I said last week that I was gonna show you and the rest of the world why I am the most dangerous man in AEW. That was just an example of what I’m gonna do to you in front of 50 THOUSAND people at Wembley Stadium in two weeks.
“Bryan, you’re gonna bring your family, right? Cuz right where you sat front row, and watched me mutilate Wheeler Yuta… is the same thing I’m gonna do in front of your daughter when she watches you have your last match! Then you can fulfill that promise that you made to her, that you were gonna retire. I’m gonna force you to retire, because that’s what I’m gonna do when I cripple you!” Swerve is willing to cross every line there is, all to stay on top. Bryan does his best to shrug that off and check on Yuta, but then Swerve slides back in to HOUSE CALL!! A cheap shot from the champion, and he even mocks the Yes chant!
The fans are torn, but will this be how it goes in just 11 days? Is Bryan going to go All In, only to lose it all?
My Thoughts:
Another great Dynamite, though the title matches were of course going to keep status quo. Mone VS Shida was a great opening to the show, and it was good use of Kamille to screw Shida over and keep Shida strong even though she loses to Mone. And clever move with Kamille assuming a String mask wearing woman is Britt, and then real Britt shows up from the other end. Now, we still have the go-home episode next week but I think this is the TBS Championship go-home segment. As such, Mone retains at All In, probably also because Kamille helps.
Then with the tag titles, it was a little surprising they did this match at all. It was a great match, but then FTR shows up, screws it all up, and we see it was all just really good filler to get us to what I’ve been saying, FTR VS Acclaimed, winners go to All In. Except now, Acclaimed used their shot from the Eliminator, so perhaps no, there won’t be Acclaimed VS winners at All Out. This feels a bit of a mess, but I suppose there’s still a scenario where maybe Acclaimed screw FTR over at All In, and then All Out becomes a Triple Threat. If anything, that’s a good move because this will be the sixth All Out, aka the fifth anniversary of the original from when AEW became a thing. Gotta go big for that, even if All In is their “biggest show of the year.”
Hangman going after Lethal during the interview promo was good stuff, that was a really good match, but I’m hoping Lethal was just selling and wasn’t legitimately concussed. Between the Deadeye on the apron and that one lariat before the Buckshot, there’s a chance it happened, and AEW cannot lose more people to injuries at this point. But either way, Hangman is being booked as a dangerous man, so as to parallel how Swerve keeps talking about himself being the most dangerous man.
Great promo video from MJF and Ospreay, and we’re of course getting one last face-to-face next week, we’ll have to wait and see how that affects the math. Pac’s promo was great, and greatly appreciated because uh, where was this weeks ago? Pac should’ve been pissed the moment Ospreay said he was getting his rematch for All In, and Pac should’ve put the All Out match on the docket just as quickly. Pac could’ve even been a player in the build, just hanging around, egging both sides on, reveling in how he’s getting the winner while they’re still fairly banged up.
Great video promo from Darby, though having it and Jack Perry attacking Darby as back to back segments felt a bit redundant. A part of me thinks they would’ve played Darby’s video on Saturday, except they had to replay Jack Perry’s video to make up for that stupid Taco Bell botch. But even then, both segments were still good, with Jack beating down Darby and adding something to their TNT Championship match. Their Coffin Match is going to be great stuff, nice reference to last year’s Coffin Match but also how Jack seems to like doing No Disqualification matches per his FTW Championship match last year.
We got a great promo from Mariah and a good promo from Mina, but hard to say how this factors into the go-home math. Claudio and Okada had a good promo segment, but as seems to be a thing, it went a touch longer than it had to. Claudio’s rebuttal to Okada’s joking around and insulting him was all still good material, but something about it felt like Claudio could’ve just said that to Okada, or maybe even saved it for Rampage. Either way, Claudio VS Okada is going to be awesome stuff, with Dynamite in Cardiff certainly going to be in front of a hot crowd that’ll eat it up. Good promo from Christian Cage, but I feel like one or both Bang Bang Gang and House of Black are going to go after Nick Wayne on Rampage since he’ll be all alone without Christian, thus motivating the trios title match.
Awesome Triple Threat of Cassidy, Kyle and Roddy. Obviously Taven & Bennett had to go out there but it was also good for Mark Briscoe and Ishii to stop them. That feels like a tag match they could give us on Collision this Saturday, or even in Cardiff for the go-home show. Cassidy getting that win like he did was also great stuff, and given Cassidy’s thing while International Champion was his durability, him starting the gauntlet is fitting. These Casino Gauntlets are always fun, but as I pictured last week, it’d be wild if Hangman won and then decided to MITB cash-in on Swerve and Bryan in the main event.
Swerve VS Yuta was a great main event, and I’m still a little worried Yuta got legit rocked like I was with Lethal, but given Bryan knows how to play that stuff up, maybe they were doing that with Yuta. Swerve of course wins, but him going above and beyond was a clever way to do it. Bryan Danielson being Bryan Danielson and this being (potentially) his last match, Swerve basically goes Heel tonight to really pile on. There’s still next week for the go-home math, there’s a chance Bryan turns things around on Swerve, meaning that Swerve will retain at All In. Then All Out could be Swerve VS Hangman, and Dynamite: Grand Slam could be Swerve VS Darby so that Swerve gets in all the classics in.
My Score: 8.9/10

The Death Riders speak.
It was after AEW Dynamite on Wednesday that Jon Moxley said, “Every time I step into the ring with Kyle O’Reilly, I can’t find a way to win. It’s been failure after failure after failure. Kyle O’Reilly has tapped me out, twice. Ipso facto, Kyle O’Reilly will be the new Continental Champion. You might think. But the Jon Moxley of six months ago is not the same as Jon Moxley of today. Who I will be tomorrow is better than who I am today. Logic and strategy would dictate that I should stay as far away from Kyle O’Reilly as I can. Because there’s no doubt about it, Kyle, you have my number.
The thing about this Continental Championship, it’s good bait. All the dragons I wanna slay come right to my door. I will do what I’ve done for 22 years surviving in this business, Kyle: I’m gonna find a way.” The Maniac heads out, and Claudio Castagnoli steps forward to tell Brody King that Brody always brings the bark. But if he steps in the ring with Claudio in the Owen Hart Tournament, he better bring the bite. Pac then says, “Nobody gets special treatment. It doesn’t matter who you are, Death Riders against the world.” Daniel Garcia says yeah, let’s get it! Yuta repeats, “Against the world.” Marina Shafir tells the world, “Bring it, you p*ssies!”

Will Ospreay speaks.
It was also after Dynamite that The Aerial Assassin told Samoa Joe, “My apologies for not getting back to any of your messages, been a little bit busy training and getting myself ready for The Owen. Surprised to see you there in the opening round, mate. It’s gonna be a tough one. But if you can just bear with me for a hot second while I explain to you… Six months of my life got taken away from me, mate. Six months, I’ve been sitting in front of a TV screen, watching AEW, looking at it, trying to get my strength back in my arms, rushing to get back. That’s six months of frustration, six months of anger. And then I finally had my kill shot on Dynasty, and I lost.
“And ever since then, man, I’ve been struggling with my matches. Doc even stopped one for my own safety. I’m annoyed that I didn’t get revenge on Jon. But I’m more upset at the idea that I can’t be the guy that AEW put their trust in once upon a time. Regardless of how I feel about Jon, regardless of how I feel about The Death Riders, there’s nothing that I can say that’ll make people ever understand. But Jon Moxley is the Ace, he’s a soldier for this place. And while his methods might be sick, there are people who stand up to see him get elevated. So what could it happen with him in my corner?
“Joe, I’ve got nothing but respect for ya. Everything that you’ve done in this industry. Mate, you were in the match that made me want to become a pro-wrestler. But no one, no one, is stopping me from winning The Owen. And I find it very poetic that the man takt took away my old life has given me a second chance of capturing the world championship.” The Billy Goat is ready to become something more, but will Samoa Joe make sure Ospreay goes Double or Nothing and loses?

Backstage interview with Sammy Guevara.
Lexy Nair is with The Spanish God and brings up how he called out Darby Allin just last night at Supercard of Honor for the AEW World Championship. But just like last night, Sammy hushes “Chica” Lexy, and says, “Everybody’s Favorite Pillar is about to talk, so zip it and listen. Darby, I don’t need to call my shot against you because I looked through the history books, and history’s on my side. I’ve beaten you not once, not twice, not three times, I’ve beaten you four times. When I look at the history books, I’m a three-time TNT Champion while you, you’ve only held that belt twice.
“So I’m gonna beat you tonight like I’ve beaten you before. I’m gonna stamp my ticket to Double or Nothing, and MJF, I know you’re watching, you sociopath. I’m gonna beat you next week and I’m gonna shave you BALD! But don’t worry, I’ll give you a nice little fade. Because I am the best! I am the best wrestler, I am the best talker, I am the best this planet has! I’m the Spanish God, dammit! I’m number one, I’ve been here since day one, and there’s only one way this is gonna go: With me as the NEW AEW World Champion! Darby, your time is up, and my time is now. Because I am Numero Uno. That means ‘number one.'”
Sammy heads out, but is his big head only going to get in the way tonight?
Backstage interview with Darby Allin.
Collision returns and Lexy is now with said AEW World Champion. She brings up the five title defenses in 21 days, an AEW record! But tonight is number six against someone Darby’s known for a long time in Sammy Guevara. Darby says when he showed up today, he asked if anyone had seen MJF yet. Then he thought, “What a stupid question. Of course he’s not gonna be at Collision.” MJF is not a company man, he only cares about himself. And those same people asked back, why is Darby back? Why is Darby defending his title again? Double or Nothing is next Sunday, why is Darby risking losing this? Because Darby loves this!
And if there’s anyone in this company as crazy as Darby, it is Sammy Guevara. Darby loves it! Darby realizes this could all end tonight, and Speedball wants his match on Wednesday? Well, if Darby walks out here tonight, then on Dynamite, it’s Showtime! Darby thanks Lexy then heads back out. Will the Relentless Reign be an unstoppable one? The respected one, Jamie Hayter, says she had the title stripped away from her and it’s eluded her ever since. And the uncertainty, Hikaru Shida, says even though it is every one for themselves, she knows she and Kris will be on the same page, just like always! Kris says y’know who really has her back? Kris herself! That’s all she needs! Jamie warns Thekla that she’s gonna find out, unfinished business is her favorite kind!
Thekla says Double or Nothing, the Toxic Spider destroys New York! A Fatal 4 Way of epic proportions await, will there be nothing left after the dust clears?
Backstage interview with Athena and Mina Shirakawa.
Lexy Nair is with the ROH Women’s World Champion and the Fighting Gravure Idol, and thanks them for accepting the No Physicality Agreement. They are on a collision course in the opening round of the Owen Hart Tournament, this has gotta be a tough one. Athena says maybe, maybe not, but the facts are this: Athena has been the ROH Women’s World Champion for over 1252 DAYS, and has left of dozens of bodies in her wake. Pretty sure Mina’s one of them. Mina says last year at All In, Athena broke Mina’s hand. Athena says so what! Last year at Death Before Dishonor, she kicked Mina’s ass all over the arena! Why does Mina think this match will be any different?
Mina laughs and says last night at Supercard, when she locked in the Figure Four on her opponent, she dreamt it was Athena. Athena says Mina is dreaming of her! So flattered! But she hopes Mina has the best dream tonight: Mina’s dead body in a ditch, next to her precious Toni Storm! Mina tells Athena that Mina has dreamt of winning The Owen and the AEW Women’s World title, while ending Athena! She can’t dream anymore, because now she will live it! Athena says sure, sure. They argue, but Lexy keeps them from getting physical! Will the Fallen Goddess be unstoppable even in AEW? Or will The Owen will be about #MinaNow?
Backstage interview with Lio Rush.
Nigel McGuinness tracked down The Problem Child, and walks over. Lio says hey, Nigel! Good to see you! He saw Nigel put in that work last night, he did great. He did really good. Nigel appreciates that, that’s what he wants to talk about. Specifically, what happened between Lio and his former tag team partner, Action Andretti. Action cost Lio the ROH World TV Championship, what is Lio’s response? Lio says it’s all fine! It’s fine! These things happen, Nigel. Losses happen, friends get upset. It’s fine. It’s fine. Lio keeps saying that, and Nigel says that is the official response. Lio again says it’s good to see Nigel.
But then Lio takes off his sunglasses to show off those creepy eyes. He smiles, and that black goo drools out… Lio continues to say it’s fine, but is it anything but fine? Or should Action learn to sleep with one eye open?
Six Man Tag: Mark Davis & The Dogs VS The Rascalz!
Before they team up for Stadium Stampede, the AEW National Champion teams with David Finlay & Clark Connors to test their chemistry. Will Dunkzilla, The Rebel & 100 Proof sink their teeth into Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz & Myron Reed? Or will The Rascalz light ’em up and smoke ’em in Salisbury?

MJF arrives backstage.
Renee Paquette is there to bring up tonight’s main event is Darby Allin VS Konosuke Takeshita for the AEW World Championship. If Darby Allin wins, MJF will then have to sign a contract for Title VS Hair at Double or Nothing. Darby has made it clear that if MJF doesn’t sign said contract, Darby will never allow MJF to face him for the title again. We all know how important the title is for MJF, but is MJF willing to put his hair on the line for it? MJF just chuckles and moves on, but he notices the very bald Rick Knox, Bryce Remsburg, and the head of security, David Aponte. And then various bald members of the production staff…
And then even Christopher Daniels & Sonjay Dutt are there! Daniels and Sonjay chuckle before moving on, and then MJF sees John Silver flexing. Brandon Cutler, some arena staff, and even Tommaso Ciampa, all bald. Then last but certainly not least, Ricochet! He tells MJF that don’t worry, he’ll look great. Just not as good as Ricochet. AHA~! MJF storms off, will he have no choice but to choose between gold belt and chrome dome?
10 Man Tag: Orange Cassidy, Adam Copeland, Christian Cage & The Young Bucks VS Tommaso Ciampa, David Finlay, Clark Connors & FTR w/ Stokely Hathaway!
While we know the AEW World Tag Team Championship match will be a conglomeration of I Quit Match and New York Street Fight, THE Conglomeration will be waiting on the other side for their own tag title match. And let’s not forget that Matt & Nick Jackson want their own shot at those titles again. With that, can Freshly Squeezed work together with C&C and The Bucks? Or will the Psycho Killer, the Dogs, and the Top Guys all stand tall on the road to Double or Nothing?
The teams sort out and the teams just brawl it out! The fans cheer as The Bucks have The Dogs, Cope is after Ciampa, Christian is after Cash, and Dax brawls with Cassidy! Cassidy kicks and kicks but Ciampa drags him back! Cassidy turns to BOOT Ciampa away! Dax tags in and he CLOBBERS Cassidy! The fans boo but Dax flips them off. Dax whips Cassidy, runs up, but Cassidy dodges! Dax POSTS himself! Both men are down, hot tags to Cash and Nick! Nick rallies on FTR with haymakers, BLASTS Ciampa, but Cash kicks low! FTR whips, DOUBLE HIP- NO, Nick lands out, MEETING OF TEH MINDS! Then DOUBLE WHEEL KICK! The fans fire up as Nick then DROPKICKS Dax out! The Dogs run up, but Nick knuckle locks and CHOPS Finlay! Then Nick jumps over Connors, SUPERKICKS, and he goes for the corner!
Nick goes up, up, and “LUCHA LIBRE~!” FLYING ARM-DRAG RANA COMBO! The fans are thunderous and Nick tags Matt. Nick whips Finlay, Finlay reverses, but Nick goes up and over. Matt SUPERKICKS Finlay! This distraction lets Christian LOW BLOW Cash! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS for Cash! Christian covers, TWO! Cash survives, the fans boo, but Christian rains down fists while Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Christian puts Cash in the corner to CHPO, CHOP, and then rain down fists! Christian goes past TEN, maybe to fifteen, then stops. Cash sputters, Stoke talks trash, but Christian grabs Stoke! Cash CLUBS Christian, Ciampa HOTSHOTS the bad arm, and Ciampa hurries to tag in. Ciampa drags Christian around, SLAMS the bad arm off the mat, then SLAMS the arm again! Ciampa POSTS Christian, and Christian falls to the apron. The ref keeps his eyes on the rest of the team so they stay back. Ciampa goes out, and he SWINGS the bad arm into the post! Christian scrambles away, clutching the arm, but Ciampa taunts Cope with a wave.
Ciampa tags Connors, Connors tags Finlay, and The Dogs stomp away on Christian. Finlay clamps onto the bad hand, bends the fingers, then JAMS them into the mat! Winners: Orange Cassidy, Adam Copeland, Christian Cage & The Young Bucks, by pinfall
Another star-studded 10 Man Tag, and it was a huge win for all the hungry contenders. Christian doesn’t wanna celebrate, but he does signal that he and Cope will be champions. Will putting their tag team legacy on the line be enough to take the gold? Or will Double or Nothing be the last night that team reeks of awesomeness?
Will Ospreay continues to train with The Death Riders.
They’re outside this time, Claudio Castagnoli playing some wall ball with Marina Shafir and Pac. Daniel Garcia says, “Tonight is the night that we’ve all been waiting for: The Aerial Assassin, Will Ospreay, is cleared and back on Dynamite. And rumor has it, the kid’s been working real hard and he’s got some new tricks up his sleeves. So Young Boy Billy, tonight you gotta show me something, c’mon.” Garcia gets a quick turn in on wall ball while cameras move over. Ospreay is maintaining a neck bridge while Jon Moxley uses Wheeler Yuta as a living dummy to show just how to push and pull and bend and twist on the various chinlocks and headlocks.
Use the right arm to push against the head, then snake in the left arm for the sleeper. Pry and shoot. Moxley asks how Ospreay feels. Ospreay lets off the bridge and says honestly, the best he’s felt in forever. Moxley asks if Ospreay remembers the night he won the Best of the Super Juniors. Yeah, 2019. AKA a lifetime ago. Ospreay was carefree, flew like a bird, for no other reason than that’s just what birds do. So simple back then, chasing that feeling, like no other feeling in the world. Can’t really grab it in your hands for more than a few seconds. The joy of doing it. Then everybody comes in and tries to make it so overcomplicated.
Years pass, life happens, a family starts, responsibilities show up, bad things happen, bad choices catch up to you, and it’s all weight on your shoulders. You feel like you can’t fly. But Moxley will tell you something: Nothing is different. Nothing has changed. All those things are still gonna be there, but you can still fly. You’re just more dangerous now. You’re a bird of prey. So tonight, when you got out there, don’t go out there to protect anything. Not your neck, your image, your reputation, or what you’ve built in your career. Go out there to give something. Moxley checks on Yuta and says dammit, if you’re gonna snap a headlock, snap the headlock!
Moxley storms off to instruct his pupil, but will Ospreay use everything he has been taught to great effect? Or will he have to fold against Ace Austin?
Chris Jericho speaks.
“You wanna face Jericho in a match of my own design, Ricochet? A spectacle so innovative, so imaginative, it cannot be contained, it can only be witnessed. Well, be careful what you demand, because you’ve made a few enemies yourself, Ricochet. And now a match designed specifically to settle scores without any, and I mean AAANY~, limitations has gotten even bigger.” Chris Jericho & The Hurt Syndicate were just looking for two more, but “Jungle” Jack Perry said he can bring four: himself, The Young Bucks, and KENNY OMEGA! Jericho tells Ricochet that this is no longer what he designed, but it is a devil’s dance of destruction! Ricochet’s destruction!
Ricochet got what he wanted, now can he handle it? Bald. The first-ever SEVEN VS SEVEN Stadium Stampede, who will even survive?
Ricochet & The Demand respond.
They stand with Mark Davis of the Don Callis Family and Ricochet says we all know Jericho does a lot of talking out of his ass while The Demand gets things done. Just like Davis did when he defeated Jack for the AEW National Championship at Fairway to Hell. Hold it with pride, Davis, Ricochet knows you’ll do it well. Davis says he’s got this. Ricochet says Davis has joined the dream team, but he’s not the only one. Because compliments to Ricochet’s golfing buddy, Don Callis, look who else he’s sending: Andrade El Idolo! Gracias, amigo. But it doesn’t stop there, the train keeps rolling. Ricochet was just approached by two guys who have an ax to grind with the superkick sidekicks.
These two wanna fill out the last two spots, so who is Ricochet to say no to The Dogs? Finlay & Connors storm in, and Finlay says to put it simple, they will fight The Bucks in the streets, in the ring, but guess it’s fighting at Double or Nothing! If they want violence, if they want carnage, if they want chaos, who better than The Dogs?! The Dogs bark and Liona roars, but will these seven stand tall in the Big Apple?
“Speedball” Mike Bailey w/ Kevin Knight VS BK Westbrook!
JetSpeed has a lot of momentum on their side, and as stated last week at Fairway to Hell, they’re looking to grab up all the gold they can. Will Speedball keep on rolling towards his own golden opportunity? Or will #Supastud prove his own worth?
The bell rings and the fans rally as the two step up. Bailey bows in respect, offers a handshake, but Westbrook goes to roll Bailey up! Bailey stays on his feet, then steps over to sit down on a cover, TWO! Westbrook ducks a Penalty Kick, avoids the moonsault, and the sweep! Bailey dodges, Westbrook tiger feints through the ropes, but Bailey handsprings up and over! The fans fire up as Bailey ducks an elbow to whip. Westbrook goes up, around, but kinda fumbles his tumble. The fans cheer and jeer him for his attempt, but Westbrook blocks the boot! Westbrook FLIPS Bailey, springboards in, but Bailey dodges! TIME ADVENTURE!
Bailey pushes Westbrook down, goes up the corner, and the fans fire up for the ULTIMATE WEAPON! Cover, Bailey wins!

The fans are torn as Cage hauls Knight up. Cage ROCKS Knight, CHOPS him, then CHOKES him on the ropes! The ref counts, Cage stops at 4, then Cage stalks Knight. Cage stands Knight up, whips him to the corner, then runs in, only for Knight to BOOT! Cage still LARIATS!

But Cage ELBOWS Knight, whips, but Knight jumps up! SATELLITE- NO, Cage goes for ropes! Knight HOTSHOTS Cage for it! Then Knight springboards back in, MISSILE DROPKICK! The fans fire up while both men are down! A standing count starts while the fans rally up. Cage goes to a corner but he runs up on Knight. Knight bobs ‘n’ weaves, fires off shots, then fires a flurry of haymakers! But Cage grabs and TOSSES Knight to a corner!
Cage runs up, Knight dodges, and Knight runs back in. Knight ducks ‘n ‘dodges, FLAPJACK DROPKICK! The fans fire up as Cage bails out! Knight builds speed and FLIES! Cage catches him?!? Bailey brings mics into the ring to say, “Congratulations to The Jet on a hell of a win!” Knight says much appreciated. But like he said, they’re red hot right now! And Brian Cage, welcome back! Cage took Knight to his limits, but The Jet is still standing as TNT Champion. But Knight can’t get over how last week, he couldn’t get the job done becoming #Jet2Belts. Bailey says forget last week. Knight IS a future AEW World Champion! Bailey says he knows it, and everyone here knows it! The fans cheer that!

AEW reveals the Men’s Owen Hart Memorial Tournament Brackets!
This year’s tournaments will go through Double or Nothing, and the finals will coincide with Forbidden Door 2026 on Sunday, June 28th in San Jose, California! The winner of each tournament will then challenge for THE AEW World Championship and AEW Women’s World Championships on August 30th at All In: London! And so, for the opening round, it will be: “Jungle” Jack Perry VS Mark Davis; Claudio Castagnoli VS Brody King; then Double or Nothing has both Samoa Joe VS Will Ospreay, and Swerve Strickland VS Bandido!
“Jungle” Jack Perry speaks.
“Mark Davis… I’m sure you feel some congratulations are in order. But you’re not champion to me. You see, you’re built like an Australia grizzly bear, yet you still needed somebody to hit me in the back with a golf club for you to beat me. At Stadium Stampede, bring your friends, bring any weapon you want, and I will crack you over the skull with it. Because anything goes. But after that, it’s back to grass roots, because it is you and me, fighting for a shot at the world title at All In: London. And in the Owen Hart Tournament, I will prove to you beyond a shadow of a doubt that I’m a better wrestler than you. I am the FUTURE world champion!
“And if you don’t like that, F YOU!” Jungle Jack is sharpening his knife, but will his edge be razor sharp when it comes time to cut down Dunkzilla?
Will Ospreay VS Ace Austin!
We’ve seen the Aerial Assassin training with The Death Riders, he’s won gold with his old friends in The United Empire, and now he’s about to face a dangerous man at Double or Nothing. Will Ospreay be more than ready for Samoa Joe after tonight? Or will he fail to even get past The Inevitable?

Winner: Will Ospreay, by submission
That might’ve been Ospreay’s first win by submission ever! He signals that his neck is no longer a problem, and he shows Ace respect for that fight. Ace accepts the handshake again, and Ospreay is moving on towards Double or Nothing with a great amount of momentum. But wait! SAMOA JOE is here! He and The Opps walk out on stage, and with mic in hand, Joe says, “Ospreay, Ospreay… OSPREAY, OSPREAY!” Joe is clearly mocking the chants for Ospreay, and the fans give genuine chanting and even singing in return. Joe says he just wanted to make sure Ospreay was listening, because these past few weeks, it seemed like Ospreay had a hard time hearing him.
Despite Ospreay’s best efforts, fate has put them on a collision course in the opening round of the Owen Hart Cup. The fans like the sound of that! Joe say she is here for one reason and one reason alone. He wants to speak about choices and consequences. Ospreay could’ve made the right choice and get a bye in this tournament, because that is what Joe would do for one of his friends. But Ospreay chose poorly. He could’ve been with the team that would do nothing but support and enhance Ospreay, but he decided to be a lapdog for Moxley and the Death Riders. The fans boo, Ospreay says he’s not a Death Rider.
Joe says Ospreay has made his choice, and come Double or Nothing, Joe makes Ospreay suffer the consequences. But Joe leaves Ospreay in peace tonight, for he has his date with destiny. But unfortunately, Joe’s friends, Katsuyori Shibata & Anthony Bowens, still feel slighted, and he doesn’t put leashes on his friends. Shibata & Bowens storm down the ramp, Ospreay ready to fight them both if he has to. But then The Death Riders appear! Ospreay may not have officially joined the club, but the Death Riders aren’t going to let their investment go to waste! The Opps say they’re #NeverLacking, but that doesn’t seem to be the case now!
Shibata & Bowens back down while Moxley, Marina, Claudio, Yuta, Garcia & Pac all step up to support Ospreay. Joe says, “Soon. Soon.” The fans cheer the Death Riders, or at least Moxley, but Bowens promises Joe is gonna kill you, Ospreay! The dream match for Double or Nothing is on, but will the training with The Death Riders make Ospreay the new King of Harts?
BREAKING NEWS for next week!
If you liked last week’s THREE HOUR block of AEW, then you’ll love this next one! Portland, Maine, the last Wednesday before Double or Nothing, Dynamite & Collision are combining forces again! Three hours all on TBS and HBO Max, make sure your DVR is set accordingly!
Backstage interview with Don Callis & Konosuke Takeshita.
Renee is now with The Invisible Hand & The Alpha, saying tonight is a huge opportunity in the main event, Konosuke facing Darby Allin for THE AEW World Championship. Konosuke could be heading into Double or Nothing as a- Callis stops Renee there to say Konosuke will be heading into Double or Nothing as a DOUBLE champion! But then MJF steps in, apologizes for the interruption but says Renee’s doing a great job. The Scumbag tells Konosuke that while it’s been a minute since the two of them have talked, three years actually, back when MJF beat him… MJF has seen Konosuke develop into truly one of the best wrestlers in the world!
MJF believes that tonight, Konosuke beats Darby for the title, goes to DON to beat Okada, and MJF can’t think of a better match than Konosuke VS MJF Part 2 for the world title. How’s that sound? MJF offers a handshake, Konosuke shakes his hand, but in Japanese, Konosuke tells MJF that he’ll beat the crap out of him. Thankfully, MJF doesn’t know Japanese. Callis says that was a nice pep talk MJF just gave, and MJF says yes, he knows. That kid needs to win, okay? MJF can’t let Darby turn him into some disgusting, bald freak! No offense, Callis looks great. But look, there is only one foolproof way to know MJF won’t be put in that situation.
So if things get hairy… MJF hands over the Dynamite Diamond Ring! Callis smiles, and say she understands what to do with it. But then in steps Andrade. El Idolo takes off his hat to shake out his amazing head of hair, and smiles at MJF. MJF frowns and leaves. Callis says here’s the deal: Takeshita will bring the world title home to the Don Callis Family tonight! Andrade asks, “How you know?” Callis says aye dios mio, he seriously doesn’t know where Andrade learned English. Andrade says one way or another, the next time, that will be HIS title. Callis says yes, he knows, it’s all good. Callis is a man of many talents, but will his family be dripping with gold thanks to a diamond ring?
AEW now announces the Women’s Owen Hart Memorial Tournament brackets!
Double or Nothing will see Willow Nightingale, the reigning Queen of Harts, take on Alex Windsor, while we will see Persephone VS Hazuki, Skye Blue vs Sareee, and Mina Shirakawa VS Athena! Champions from around the world are gathering for this tournament, but who will be headed to Forbidden Door, and then All In: London?
Backstage interview with The Conglomeration.
Renee Paquette is now with Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong, and Willow Nightingale. Renee commends Cassidy on his part in the 10 Man Tag victory. But it seems that there is even more business to attend to. Cassidy says yes, the team has a shot at THE AEW World Tag Team Championships. It doesn’t matter who it is, they’re getting their shot, but the thing is… They still haven’t decided on which two will be. Kyle says Cassidy & Roddy should go for the gold, but Roddy shouts, “KYYYLE~! Thank you.” Kyle says of course. But that’s cuz he’s got gold to chase for himself!
The same man that put Kyle on the shelf for months is the man that Kyle submitted twice, and will submit again. Jon Moxley, Continental Champion, when are we doing this? Willow says speaking of gold, she is still the TBS Champion. But she is also in the Owen Hart Cup. She won this tournament before, she’ll do it all over again, so that she can have all the gold for herself at All In: London. She knows she can, and she will! Then Conglomeration has it all in order? Cassidy says hold on, there’s something missing. They should do a Word of the Day. Why haven’t they done one in so long? Roddy shouts for “MAAARK~!” And yes, Mark Briscoe returns!
The Sussex County Chicken is all fired up, and he says the Word of the day is reunification! For Mark Briscoe is back with his boys and his girls, The Conglomeration! But he’ll put this plain and simple: Tommaso Ciampa! Next Wednesday, Briscoe’s after your ass, son! You hear him? But before that, Saturday Night Collision is in HIS hometown, Salisbury, Maryland! That’s just 4.4 miles from where Briscoe originated on this earth! They’re gonna conglomerate and it’s gonna be a a hell of a time! Are you ready!? Willow and Kyle are fired up, Briscoe goes wild, and the team heads out. Cassidy admits, that was a lot of yelling.
But while The Conglomeration is ready to go Double or Nothing, will they soon have even more gold in the collection? Or are these high and lofty a little too much even for them?
Six Woman Tag: Hikaru Shida & The Brawling Birds VS The Triangle of Madness!
With the news of both the AEW Women’s World Championship Fatal 4 Way for Double or Nothing, and the Owen Hart Cup brackets, this trios match is about much more than just settling scores! Thekla brings Jamie up, snapmares her down, then basement SUPERKICKS! Cocky cover, TWO! Thekla drags Jamie to the corner, tags Julia, and Julia runs up to LARIAT! Then she goes side to side to ELBOW Jamie down!

Julia then drags Jamie over, bumps her off buckles, and tags in Skye. Skye stomps Jamie around, then digs her boot in! The ref counts, Skye stops at 4, then she brings Jamie up. Jamie fires forearms and CHOPS, but Skye THROWS Jamie down by her hair! The ref reprimands again but Skye rains down forearms. Skye snapmares Jamie, mule kicks her, then covers, TWO! Skye frowns but she stomps Jamie down. Skye tags Julia while Dynamite returns to single picture.

Thekla lands out, but Jamie BOOTS her down! Jamie looks at Shida, Shida is hesitant, but Shida tags in! The fans cheer as Shida sends Theknla to the corner, then JUMP KNEES! Shida keeps moving, she BLASTS Skye! Julia ROCKS Shida back!
Julia storms in but Shida kicks her and whips her into Thekla! Shida KNEES them both in the corner! Jamie runs the ropes, but Thekla slides in, BELT SHOT on Jamie!! No question that the ref saw that! The Triangle is disqualified!
Winners: Hikaru Shida & The Brawling Birds, by disqualification
The Toxic Spider doesn’t care about this win, she just wants to do damage! Skye gets Windsor in a DRAGON SLEEPER! The ref stops Thekla from sing the title belt again, so Thekla just takes off her own belt! And she LASHES Windsor while Skye holds her down! More refs rush out here, but Julia MISTS the newbie in the face! Julia stomps away on Jamie, not caring about fines or consequences, either! The fans boo, and Shida is bailing on the Birds? Shida cares more about her chances in that Fatal 4 Way than anything else. But then Willow, Mina, and even Thunder Rosa rush out here! They chase The Triangle off with belts of their own!
The fans cheer as The Babe, the Fighting Gravure Idol & La Mera Mera save the day. But will Jamie make sure Thekla and Shida pay for this at Double or Nothing?
AEW World Championship: Darby Allin VS Konosuke Takeshita!
They say “card subject to change,” and that is true even for the best in the world. Kazuchika Okada’s real family takes priority, but his Don Callis Family brother was more than happy to step up for this opportunity. Will The Alpha already have two belts by the time he and The Rainmaker battle over the International Championship? Or will Darby truly be relentless in his pursuit of being the best fighting champion in AEW history?
The introductions are made, THE belt is raised, and we see who goes to Double or Nothing on top!
Callis joins commentary to say that while Darby’s been breaking his own body, Konosuke has perfected “rejuvenation training,” aka relaxing on a beach and sipping sake! The bell rings, and Darby SHOTGUNS Konosuke out! Then Darby DIVES, but Konosuke catches him! Konosuke POSTS Darby, then THROWS him into railing! Konosuke THROWS Darby into the ring, the fans fire up for both guys, and Konosuke hurries to BOOT Darby off the apron! Darby falls in front of commentary but Konosuke gets him right back in the ring. Darby bounces off the buckles and is bleeding from the mouth already! Konosuke stands Darby up, hoists him up top, then he climbs up after him. But Darby BITES Konosuke, CLUBS him down, and leaps for a CROSSBODY, but he bounces off Konosuke! The fans fire up again as Konosuke whips Darby for a BACKDROP! Darby got serious hangtime there, and he flounders out of the ring. Darby coughs and sputters but the fans rally up.

Darby fires forearms, then goes up a corner! COFFIN- NO, Konosuke catches him for a SUPER BLUE THUNDER BOMB to the floor!! The fans go nuts again and Callis says that’s the end of Darby Allin, but Dynamite goes picture in picture.
The ref hurries to check Darby but Callis tells Doc Sampson to call it. Darby is somehow still in this, so Konosuke storms his way over. Konosuke drags Darby up, puts him in the ring, then paces around him. Konosuke runs the ropes to LARIAT! Darby flips inside-out, Konosuke covers him, TWO!! Darby still has fight inside but he’s also dazed. Konosuke clamps onto Darby with a chinlock and squeezes tight. Darby endures, even as Konosuke leans on him with his much-taller frame. Bridging cover, TWO!!! Callis is freaking out as much as the fans, and he protests the count! Konosuke is furious, but he aims for the WAGAMAMA KNEE!!! Cover, TWO?!?! Darby survives by nanoseconds, and Konosuke is beside himself! “This is Awesome!” but now CLØN rushes out here! He distracts the ref, and Callis hurries to take the Dynamite Diamond Ring off his finger to put it in Konosuke’s hands! Konosuke thinks about it, but The Alpha has honor!
The fans cheer as Konosuke wants to do this his way! But then Darby runs up, cradles, TWO!! Konosuke escapes, ALPHA ELBOW!! Darby is down, dazed, but still moving! Konosuke drags Darby up again, goes back to the corner and back to the top rope. The fans hope these two “FIGHT FOREVER!” but it has to end somehow! Darby fights against the lift with headlock punches! Then he hops on, SUPER CODE RED!! Konosuke staggers up, Darby leg scissors, steps through, LAST SUPPER!! TWO?!?! Konosuke escapes again, then bails out! So Darby just goes up top! SUPER COFFIN DROP!! Direct hit and both men are down again!
The fans are thunderous as Konosuke and Darby stir. A ring count climbs, Callis complains that some people just gotta follow directions and run the play! Coach Callis pulled Konosuke outta obscurity, Konosuke would do anything! Now he’s got some gold, some fame, and gets a mind of his own! Callis complaining aside, the ring count is climbing! Darby drags himself in at 9, but Konosuke YANKS him back out! That refreshes the count, and Konosuke vows to end this for real now. But Darby is right up top! COFFION DROP on the back!! Then Darby goes right back up, COFFIN DROP again!!! Cover, DARBY WINS!!
Winner: Darby Allin, by pinfall (still AEW World Champion)
Callis is steaming, but Darby overcomes Konosuke to avenge that loss in the Continental Classic! But it also took so much out of him just to do it! Darby still asks for a mic and one is brought to him. Darby sits up against the ropes, has them cut his music, and he tells MJF to get his ass out here! There’s a contract MJF needs to sign! The ring crew hurries to bring in a table and some chairs for that very contract signing, and MJF makes his entrance. MJF reluctantly makes his way down the ramp, and both men meet at the table. Darby grins with blood still in hiss teeth, and he signs his part of the contract without hesitation, unlike MJF.
The fans already chant “BALD! BALD! BALD!” at MJF, and Darby pushes the contract to his side of the table. MJF grabs the pen, reaches out, but then steps away. MJF scratches his chin as he thinks on this, and the fans just chant, “BALD! BALD! BALD!” again. MJF takes a mic to say he’ll explain something to Darby, looking like he has rabies. But see, MJF is happy for Darby, he hopes Darby’s had fun holding MJF’s AEW World Championship. The fans boo that, but MJF says deep down, there is a small part of him, like the size of a North Carolinian p*nis small. That small part of MJF feels bad for Darby, because he’ll never hold this again!
Darby’s got about a good a chance of holding this title as Hangman Adam Page does again. MJF says guys like Darby are a dime a dozen, here today and gone tomorrow, stuntmen who burn the candle at both ends. In this life, people like all these fans here like to pretend that life is about making friends and family and children. The only thing that matters in life is your legacy. And Darby’s legacy will be that of the kid who had his 15 minutes of fame. They’ll pretend like Darby made a lasting impact, but the fact of the matter is, he hasn’t. He hasn’t! They’ll know deep down that Darby Allin was just a little pr*ck who got lucky.
They’ll know that Darby was too reckless and stupid to stay on top. And after May 24th, Double or Nothing, in that sh*thole of Queens, New York, y’know what MJF’s legacy will be? He’ll go down as the guy who became a THREE-TIME World Champion at just 30 years of age, unprecedented in this sport. And MJF will go down, when it’s all said and done, as the Greatest of All Time! THAT is the difference between them! Darby Allin brags about climbing a mountaintop. But when it comes to professional wrestling, Maxwell Jacob Friedman IS the mountaintop! The fans boo but MJF soaks it up. Darby tells MJF to SHUT UP!
Only someone like MJF who is so vain would think that the number one most important thing in this world is his legacy. Darby doesn’t care about legacy, he cares about living in the moment! And in this moment, Darby just wants MJF to sign the contract. Then at Double or Nothing, Darby makes Maxwell Jacob Friedman a BALLD HEADED B*TCH!! MJF frowns but the fans cheer that! MJF grabs the pen again, and with no choice, he signs on the dotted line! Then he TACKLES Darby! The fans boo as MJF beats up Darby after the war he went through with Konosuke! MJF CHUCKS an armchair outta the ring, FLIPS the table, then picks up his Dynamite Diamond Ring.
MJF puts the ring on his finger like always, then winds up to DECK Darby!! The fans boo but MJF just soaks it all up. MJF throws off his jacket, picks up the belt, and he stands over Darby with it. But then MJF isn’t done with Darby, he puts Darby on the top rope! MJF climbs up to join him, and drags Darby into position! But wait! Kevin Knight runs out here to chase MJF off! The Jet still owes The Scumbag a receipt, but it seems we’ll all have to wait on that. Will MJF still take back the title at Double or Nothing? Or will Darby keep the belt and take MJF’s dignity?
My Thoughts:
An awesome episode for Dynamite as things heat up towards Double or Nothing. Awesome 10 Man Tag to open, great win for the Faces, not that it added much to FTR VS C&C. Good promo from Jericho to look back on Stadium Stampede and hype up this year’s match. Good promo from The Demand with Davis and The Dogs, and I suppose this maximizes the feuds as well as the alliances throughout the locker room. Who knows who wins but the match will still be awesome, just as the original was. Good promo from Conglomeration, too, Cassidy & Roddy going after FTR while Kyle VS Moxley happens on the side, that’s great stuff.
Speaking of Moxley, great promo from him and Ospreay. Moxley’s semi-turn has really brought out his sage philosophical side. Great match from Ospreay VS Ace, and while Ospreay could always bring out his aggression, seeing him use more technical wrestling and even winning with a submission is good stuff. Good promo from Joe, and I liked Death Riders backing Ospreay up. Very good Owen Hart Cup brackets this year, Joe VS Ospreay is a great choice given this story, but I would think Ospreay wins that one. Good promo from Jack Perry to call out Davis, and I suppose Jack can win in the Owen Cup to then move on from the National title.
Great seeing Brian Cage back, he gave Knight an awesome match, but with JetSpeed wanting to go on a Two Man Power Trip, it makes sense Kevin won out. Same for Bailey beating Westbrook, even though Westbrook maybe went too hard on his own acrobatic escape. Great stuff in the Six Woman Tag, and I appreciate Shida didn’t ditch until after the match. Willow, Mina & Rosa might get their own Six Woman Tag with Triangle of Madness after that interaction, but also can’t wait to see if Willow can go back-to-back as Queen of Harts. For that matter, I personally would love to see Athena use the Owen Cup to move on from being ROH Women’s World Champion, but that depends on how Supercard of Honor goes this Friday.
And of course, another wild instant classic from Darby as he overcomes Takeshita. I knew the diamond ring would come into play with that reverse effect, good way of protecting Takeshita in the loss. Good stuff with MJF tonight, too, such as the opening segment’s parade of bald men to send the message to MJF. That was also a unique contract signing segment in that it came together so quickly after the main event match. Good stuff from MJF as always, and of course he attacks Darby. I feel like either Knight should not have made the save, or both parts of JetSpeed should’ve made the save. It just seems odd that only Knight cared about saving Darby. The closing moment was much better when it was MJF standing over Darby with the belt.
My Score: 9/10
