Randy Orton is here!
Fort Lauderdale, Florida fires up and sings along with Voices as The Viper makes his way to the ring. Orton does his pose, the fans chant his name, and then he gets a mic. “South Florida, you sound mighty froggy right now. What’s up with you?” The fans cheer and Orton likes it. But now, it has been a minute since he’s done this, so he wants to soak it all in. “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Monday Night Raw!” The fans cheer again, and Orton says next time he makes that introduction, he will be a FIFTEEN TIME World Champion.
Because this match at Bash In Berlin with Gunther is for the World Heavyweight Championship. That’s all it had to be about. But Gunther decided to go and make it personal. The fans boo that, and Orton says that move only gives him that much more motivation to beat Gunther from pillar to post. But hey, last week, when Gunther couldn’t but help talk about Orton’s father and grandfather, well, then he turns his back on Orton, and this is Orton we’re talking about. Orton had to hit Gunther with the three most dangerous letters in sports entertainment, R K O! Oh, but here comes Der Ring General himself now!
The fans boo Gunther as he steps out with a mic of his own. Gunther says the only thing he needs Orton to do, which also goes for everyone else here…! The fans boo and chant “RANDY! RANDY!” as Gunther steps into the ring with Orton. What Gunther wants Orton to do, and what he wants all these Florida rednecks to do, is to SHUT UP AND LISTEN! Gunther tells Orton to look at him. Gunther wants to know why Orton is celebrating. Is he celebrating that Gunther turned his back, and then Orton spun him around for an RKO? Well, then celebrate it! Because this is the only celebrating Orton will do.
Gunther says with what Orton did last week, all he achieved was to make this very, very personal! The fans continue to chant “RKO! RKO!” and even some “USA! USA!” Gunther says these lowlifes chanting “USA” at Gunther, what’s that about? Is that all they have with their three braincells?! But since everyone is all hyped to see Orton hit another RKO on Gunther, Gunther is here to tell us that it will never happen again. And since everyone knows how dangerous the RKO is, Gunther is left with no option. After Gunther is done with Orton, he will be left a bloody mess. Gunther leaves Orton exposed for what he really is: a very successful yet very underachieving one trick pony.
The fans boo and Orton chuckles. “Maaaaan… Gunther, you keep running your mouth and running your mouth, it’s gonna make it just that much more of an uncomfortable flight for you over to Berlin. That’s gonna be eight HOURS, up in the air, 35,000 feet altitude, with a sized 15 boot shoved directly up your ass!” The fans cheer that! Orton says it’ll get better! The size 15 boot is double extra wide! The fans cheer and Gunther gets heated. The belt is thrown down, as is the challenge, but then Ludwig Kaiser slips in from behind! The fans boo but Orton hits Kaiser first! Orton fires hands, DECKS Kaiser, t hen LARAITS Kaiser up and out!
Then Orton blocks Gunther’s chop to fire hands! Only for Kaiser to get back in and CHOP BLOCK! Gunther LARIATS Orton down, onto the belt! Orton writhes, Gunther talks trash, and the fans boo, but Imperium stands tall. Will Orton have to have eyes on the back of his head if he wants to take down Der Ring General?
Sheamus VS Pete Dunne!
The Fella is fighting on all fronts, from both foes to former friends! And he’s at gorilla now with Jackie Redmond, who brings up how Dunne viciously attacked backstage. How is Sheamus feeling going into this after Dunne smashed his hand? Sheamus says Pete “Don’t Call Me Butch” Dunne smashed the hand with Sheamus’ own shillelagh. Crazy, right? But tonight, there will be retribution! And Sneaky Pete will go for the injured paw. But this one armed bandit has more hours on the clock and has been around the sun a few more times, and he still has some tricks to teach the young thundercats.
But for now, he has one question to ask. Fort Lauderdale, are ya ready for a banger!? The Celtic Warrior makes his entrance, is he about to give Dunne a lot worse than a busted hand?
Raw returns and Dunne makes his entrance. The bell rings, Sheamus runs up but Dunne dodges a Brogue! Dunne fires hands on Sheamus, but Sheamus blocks with a cording hold, and LARIATS! Dunne scrambles to ropes, Sheamus goes after him, but the ref counts. Sheamus lets off, and Dunne ROCKS him! And CHOPS him! The fans rally for Sheamus as Dunne headlocks. Sheamus power sup, fires body shots, and headlocks back. Dunne powers up and out, drops down, then jumps, but into an Alabama Lift! And ALABAMA SLAM! Dunne flounders around while the fans fire up! Sheamus storms after Dunne, and has him on the apron!
Sheamus brings Dunne up but Dunne GAMANGIRIS! No beats yet, and Dunne wants the bad arm! Sheamus resists the takedown so Dunne hits a WRISTLOCK DDT! Sheamus goes to ropes, but Dunne grabs the bad arm, to bend the fingers! Dunne twists the wrist, wrangles Sheamus down to the mat, TRIANGLE HOLD! Dunne fires hands, but Sheamus deadlifts Dunne, to POWER BREAKER! Dunne writhes and goes to ropes, but Sheamus runs up and BLASTS Dunne off the apron! Dunne hits the desk then the floor, and the fans fire up with Sheamus. Sheamus goes out to fetch Dunne, and SMACKS him off the desk!
Sheamus UPPERCUTS Dunne, puts him into the ring, then high-fives Pat McAfee. But then Dunne SHOTGUNS Sheamus off the apron! Dunne goes out, runs up, and SHOTGUNS Sheamus again! Sheamus hits steps, Maggle blames Pat, but Dunne STOMPS the bad hand! Sheamus writhes, the fans boo, but Raw goes to break.
Raw returns again and Dunne covers Sheamus, TWO! Sheamus clutches the bad hand as he rolls away to a corner. Dunne storms over to grab that hand, and then he kicks at Sheamus! Dunne CHOPS and SLAPS Sheamus around, talks smack, but Sheamus eggs him on! The fans fire up as Dunne goes from slaps to JAB after JAB! But Sheamus ROCKS Dunne in return! And again! Dunne SLAPS Sheamus! Now Sheamus is mad! Sheamus shouts, “Were ya Butch, or are ya B*tch?!” Dunne DECKS Sheamus for that! Dunne HAMMERS away on Sheamus, storms around, and the fans boo. Dunne runs up, but into a POLISH HAMMER!
The fans fire up as Sheamus LARIATS back down! Dunne goes to a corner, Sheamus runs up and LARIATS! Sheamus scoops Dunne, brings him around, and POWERSLAMS! The fans fire up with Sheamus while Dunne crawls to the apron. Sheamus storms over, drags Dunne up, and the fans fire up as we get- NO! Dunne bends the bad fingers, then SNAPS them! Then Dunne uses BEATS OF THE BODHRAIN! The fans boo but still count to TEN, and Dunne shoves Sheamus away. Dunne shrugs, but then Sheamus rises up! The fans fire up as Sheamus has Dunne! BEATS OF THE BODHRAIN! Sheamus goes to TEN, and the fans fire up!
Sheamus drags Dunne up higher, and he BEATS THE BODHRAIN to then CLUB Dunne down! The fans are thunderous as Sheamus goes to a corner. Sheamus beats his chest, take aim, but Dunne ENZIGIRIS first! Dunne goes up and up to MOONSAULT into a KNEE!! Cover, TWO?!? Dunne survives and Sheamus can’t believe it! Sheamus fireman’s carries Dunne, then he goes up the corner! The fans fire up but Dunne shifts! Dunne manages to bring Sheamus from the corner, SITOUT BOMB! Cover, TWO!! Sheamus survives and “This is Awesome!” Dunne is beside himself, but then he just gets pissed.
Dunne goes to the corner, and he puts Sheamus’ bad hand inside a buckle pad! The ref reprimands but Dunne has Sheamus trapped! Dunne HAMMERS away, the ref backs Dunne up, but then Dunne PUNTS the bad hand! Now Sheamus is pissed, and he just RIPS the buckle pad away! And then BROGUES Dunne down!! Cover, Sheamus wins!
Winner: Sheamus, by pinfall
That was indeed a BANGER! Sheamus stands tall over Dunne, and maybe now he can move on from his past to have a golden future. But then Dunne still smiles? Well, Dunne himself has to focus on the future, because he’s in an NXT Championship #1 Contender’s Triple Threat! Will The Bruiserweight #FigureItOut and head for All Ego, Ethan Page?
The New Day & Odyssey Jones prepare backstage.
Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods bring out the TMNT gear, Odyssey is powder blue, but they’re all ready to win big for the NEW~ DAY~! Jones then heads out, and Kofi asks Woods if they can talk. Woods says sure, what about? Kofi says that he’s been noticing, over these past couple of weeks, Woods’ energy has just been off. Is everything okay? Karrion Kross has been trying to drive a wedge, but is it working? No, no, that’s just what Kross does, right? There’ve been those who tried before, and there will be those who try after. Kross isn’t the problem. It’s just that Woods wishes Kofi talked with him about bringing Jones in.
Because honestly, on some level, it does feel like Kofi’s trying to replace Big E. Kofi says first, he is sorry. But second, no one is being replaced. This is not about bringing Jones into The New Day. Remember what it was like trying to get New Day off the ground? Everyone talking trash, looking down on them. It was hard. But they got through it because they had each other, and that is how they became one if not THE greatest tag team in WWE history! They’re family, nothing’s gonna change that. As far as Jones goes, he is in the same boat as the New Day was years ago. So as the locker room veterans, Kofi wants to help Jones like others helped New Day.
Woods gets that. Woods will work on getting over this feeling. Jones returns, still all fired up. They shake it out, and then head out. Woods does his best to smile, but will everything be alright? Or will The Final Testament have the final say on this story?
Team American Made finds Ivy Nile backstage.
Chad Gable says he cannot believe his eyes. His brilliant vision, finally realized! His new family, a REAL family, American Made. Ivy made the best decision getting rid of the deadweight, Maxxine Dupri. And Ivy’s never had a coach like him. Ivy says she gave Maxxine a chance, but she got what was coming to her. Ivy is the real deal, she is the Pitbull! And if Maxxine can’t see that, that’s on her. Gable says that’s right! After Ivy breaks “Malibu Barbie,” they’ll finally be done with the failed experiment that is Alpha Academy. Then they can focus on The Wyatt Sick6! American Made will send them back to whatever swamp they crawled out of!
And as for them, how were they made? American Made! The group put hands in, but will this really be any different than The Academy with Gable at the wheel?
Maxxine Dupri VS Ivy Nile!
Raw returns as said Pitbull makes her entrance. Just as Otis & Tozawa did, Gable & The Creeds head to the back to let the ladies handle this on their own. Ivy gets in the ring, soaks up the heat, but then Maxxine DROPKICKS her down! The fans fire up and Maxxine pursues Ivy out of the ring! Maxxine THROWS Ivy into barriers, then throws her into more barriers! Maxxine drags Ivy up, reels her in, and FISHERMAN SUPLEXES! Maxxine fires up, the fans are with her, and she TOSSES Ivy over the desk! Ivy flounders, Maxxine tells her this is what she gets, and Maxxine puts Ivy in the ring. Ivy goes to a corner, but she BOOTS back!
The ref reprimands, this isn’t a match yet! Ivy HAMMERS away on Maxxine, puts her in a corner and fires off more hands! The ref reprimands, Ivy finally lets off, but now the lights are turning off! The fans fire up and the fireflies come out! Gable called them out, so The Wyatts are responding! The piano plays, the fog rolls in, and the spotlight’s on Ivy now. She shakes her head, claiming she’s not afraid, but then she turns around to see Nikki Cross! Gable & The Creeds hurry out there to stand with Ivy! But then the rest of the Wyatt Sick6 appears! And Nikki CLOBBERS Ivy! The brawl is on!
The fans fire up as Lumis, Gacy and Rowan beat up American Made! The fans tell Gable he done messed up! The Creeds get sent out of the ring, and Gable is surrounded! Nikki slithers back in, and then UNCLE HOWDY gets Gable! SISTER ABIGAIL!! The fans are thunderous as Bo Dallas shouts, “We’re here!” The Wyatt Sick6 stand tall over Gable again, are they the ones not done with him?
CM Punk is backstage.
And he’s got a leather strap draped around his neck. A very clear sign of what he wants, but what will he have to say? We find out, after the break.
Damian Priest & Rhea Ripley speak.
The Terror Twins stand together in their own corner of the arena, and The Punisher says, “For the past two weeks, this new lame version of The Judgment Day’s tried to take us out. And for the last two weeks, The Terror Twins stood our ground, in the middle of the ring, while these clowns ran. But for Liv & Dom, your days are numbered. Because at Bash In Berlin, you two officially receive your punishment.” The Eradicator says, “At Bash In Berlin, there’s nowhere to run, and there’s nowhere to hide. Dom, you’re gonna find out real quick that it was Damian and myself that were keeping you safe this entire time!”
And as for Liv Morgan, she thinks she’s taken everything from Rhea. But she hasn’t taken everything. All Liv has done is become the one thing she truly hates: a discount Rhea Ripley! And at Bash In Berlin, the Terror Twins put those two through the mat. Will Dirty Dom & Lil’ Liv regret ever messing with these two?
CM Punk heads to the ring!
The fans fire up because “IT’S CLOBBERIN’ TIME~!” Punk goes to the ring, the fans chant his name, and Punk says there’s a lot to get to, but first! “Is it great to be alive in South Florida on a Monday night or what?!” And before he gets started, he wants to say congrats to the Florida Panthers for winning the Stanley Cup! How’s Punk’s hair? The bags under his eyes are a little bigger, right? The fans cheer on the Panthers and Punk says go ahead! Alright, that’s good, let’s not get carried away. But Punk didn’t sleep a lot last night, he was just too excited. He was staring up at his ceiling, excited to come here and share this news.
But before he gets to that news, he wants to tell us a story. The fans like the sound of that! Punk appreciates that, it would’ve ruined things otherwise. But he was in New York for that little thing called Fanatics Fest, and while he was in the greenroom, someone asked him about this hot streak WWE is on, selling out arenas all over the world. They asked why Punk thought WWE was on such a hot streak. Punk says the answer is easy: it’s the fans. The fans down here, the fans up high in the 300 level seats! All the freaks right here on hard cam side, live and in living color. Punk has met a lot of great fans, too.
The first person in line at Fanatics Fest was a nice young lady in a wheelchair. She wheeled up and got up to walk to Punk! That young lady said she just defeated cancer! And somehow, lil’ ol’ Punk was her source of strength. That made Punk think of his friends, Chad Gilbert, and Lou Koller, all fighting cancer right now. Then there was a young lady from Taiwan, who flew 15 HOURS, just for maybe 15 seconds with Punk for a picture. And another young gentleman had a sign that said, “I traveled 5,785 miles from Jordan just to see CM Punk.” That all means something to Punk! It means something to every single person in the back!
But it means a bit more to Punk because he missed about 10 years with the fans. So it means so much to come here to Florida for the first time in a long time to share news. The fans chant for Punk and he nods. Why is WWE on a streak? It is because fans like them! Fans that hand Punk bracelets that they took the time to make. Maybe it’s insignificant to others. Maybe it’s a Taylor Swift kind of thing, but let’s face it, he’s Taylor Swift For Men. And bracelets like these, made by fans like them, much like the one McIntyre took from CM Punk in Chicago…! Well, we’ve talked about the love, now let’s talk about the hate!
Love and hate, two sides of the coin. Punk tells McIntyre that while he hates Punk, wants nothing to do with him, got his win at SummerSlam and wants to just walk away, made things personal! McIntyre hates Punk? Maybe so but he’s also obsessed with Punk! He wants to stay connected to Punk! It’s why he still has the bracelet with Punk’s lovely wife’s name on it. So that brings Punk to the news he has. Wanna hear it? The fans say yes! Punk’s biggest hater is also his biggest fan, so he’s done made McIntyre a bracelet! Punk holds up that big leather strap! Punk already talked with Pearce, and so unless McIntyre is just a big coward…
Saturday! August 31st! Bash In Berlin! STRAP MATCH!! The fans love the sound of that! Punk says for the uninitiated, Punk will be tethered to McIntyre just like McIntyre so badly wants to be tethered to him! They will be tied wrist to wrist, and they have to carry the other’s carcass around to touch the corners. But that’s not really why Punk wants the match. Punk wants to be able to “whip this b*tch,” take the bracelet back, and leave McIntyre with lasting scars so that he will NEVER forget the name, C M- WAIT! Here comes McIntyre! He has a mic, and he stays up on stage as he glares at Punk.
The fans boo but McIntyre tells Punk, “I’ve been thinking all week what I’m gonna do to you. Last week, you embarrassed me. You whipped me like a petulant child. And I’ve been having all these fantasies of the violence that I’m gonna bring upon you. Now you challenge me to a Strap Match? I have a question, and I’m 100% serious right now. Have you started drinking? Have you seen me? A Strap Match? I ACCEPT!” The fans cheer that! But McIntyre says that’s next week. He can’t wait, he wants a receipt for last week! For the scars on his back! So do the fans want a teaser of that right now! The fans say yes!
McIntyre says put the strap aside, and they’ll give the fans a show. Punk says, “Lose the strap?” Well, the fans got a teaser last week, let’s have the full motion picture. Punk goes to put the strap down, but then says no, he’ll do one better. He’ll let McIntyre have the strap, if McIntyre gives back the bracelet. The fans like where this is going. McIntyre looks at the bracelet, and then says, “NO! You’re a liar! Last week, you lied so you could attack me from behind! You’re a hypocrite! I give you the bracelet, try to get in that ring, you’ll whip me like a dog! Not a chance. And besides, April and Larry are much safer and happier at home with Drew McIntyre.”
McIntyre smirks but Punk says McIntyre won’t be safe. It’s not so much that Punk is attached to Drew as it is Drew is attached to Punk. The Best in the World gave McIntyre a way out, but now there’s no turning back. Who quite literally whips the other into submission and comes away the victor?
Dominik & Liv speak.
Liv says, “Rhea, Damian, if you two think you stand a chance against us at Bash In Berlin, you must be out of your minds. Because we are the most dominant couple in the history of WWE. And besides, no one lays a finger on my Daddy Dom but me. So at Bash In Berlin, it will be us on top, which is exactly where we like it.” Dom says he doesn’t even wanna wait! He wants to go 1v1 with Priest tonight! Because he’s not the same Dom that Damian used to boss around. So why not leave Rhea in the back, and Judgment Day will stay behind, and they’ll go 1v1. That is, if Damian’s man enough. Uh, are these two thinking right? Or will they get some sense slapped into them soon enough?
Six Man Tag: The New Day & Odyssey Jones VS The Final Testament!
Woods talked it out with Kofi, so everything’s all good now, right? Right…? Or will this be the moment we find out Kross was right all along?
Raw returns and The Final Testament makes their entrance. The trios sort out and Woods starts against Kross. The two circle, the fans rally, and Woods is wary of Kross’ team. The “NEW! DAY ROCKS!” chants start but Kross asks Kofi, who even is New Day now. Woods frowns, but Kofi tags himself in! Kofi fires off hands on Kross, backs him into a corner, then runs corner to corner to SPLASH! Kori keeps going, and he SPALSHES again! Kofi keeps going, to SPLASH a third time! Kofi whips, Kross reverses to ROCK Kofi! Kofi drops to knees, the fans boo, but Kross bumps Kofi off buckles. Kross ROCKS Kofi again, then stands him back up.
Kross whips corner to corner, but Kofi goes up and up to MISSILE DROPKICK! The fans fire up, but Akam distracts tehr ef! Kofi runs but Scarlett anchors him! Kross reels Kofi in for a BAKCKBREAKER, flip and fireman’s carry, DEATH VALLEY DRIVER! Kross tags Rezar and says to take Kofi out! Rezar fireman’s carries, and he CORNER DEATH VALLEYS! The fans boo but Rezar just talks trash and soaks up the heat. Final Testament is standing tall while Raw goes to break.
Raw returns again and fans rally while Akam tags Kross. The Final Testament mugs Kofi, and Kross drags Kofi up. Kofi fires body shots, then haymakers, but Kross keeps him from the corner! Kofi still fires hands, but Kross reels Kofi in for an EXPLODER! The fans boo but Kross soaks up the heat, then he sucker punches Jones! The fans boo but Kross tags Akam. Akam drags Kofi up, back suplexes, but Kofi lands out! Kofi dodges Akam to POST him! The fans fire up as Kofi crawls, Jones takes the tag! Woods is upset, but it is really more the literal positioning here. But either way, Jones rallies on Final Testament!
Jones fires up, the fans are with him, and Jones ELBOWS Kross in a corner! But AOP mugs Jones! They whip, but Jones DOUBLE LARIATS! The fans fire up again and Jones storms around. Jones gets moving, and he FALLING HEADBUTTS Akam! Cover, Kross breaks it! The fans boo but Kross runs, builds speed, and he LARIATS! Jones staggers, Kofi jumps in to wrench and TROUBLE IN PARADISE! Kross is down, Kofi slides under Rezar but gets caught! Rezar OVERHEAD SUPLEXES Kofi! But Woods LIMIT BREAKER ELBOW DROPS Rezar! The fans fire up, but then Akam URENAGES Woods!
Jones is up, Akam dodges his lariat, but not the JOURNEY’S END!! Cover, Jones & New Day win!
Winners: The New Day & Odyssey Jones, by pinfall
Mixed feelings aside, winning always feels good! Jones helps The New Day take down the Final Testament, is this new chapter only just beginning?
Damian and Rhea talk backstage.
Damian says, “This kid, man. Typical, right?” Rhea says, “Absolutely ridiculous.” The match is made, and Rhea believes in Damian. But they also know how slimy this Judgment Day is, so this has to be a trap. Damian agrees there. But hey, just the same, just to have a chance to get his hands on those cowards, to see Rhea get her hands on Liv, it’ll be worth it. Damian would walk through a minefield with Rhea to face anyone and anything. So as long as there is still breath in either one of them, they don’t stop until they’ve passed judgment on this lame ass Judgment Day. Rhea likes the sound of that.
They fist bump, Rhea lets Damian prepare. Will Dom actually keep his word tonight? Or is there just another ambush waiting around the corner?
WWE mourns the loss of Afa Anoa’i.
Another influential patriarch of the Anoa’i Family, and the other half of the Wild Samoans, one of the greatest tag teams in WWE history. There was no tag team that held as many titles as Afa & Sika. And they also guided Samu and Rikishi into the family business. Following an illustrious career, they were immortalized in the WWE Hall of Fame. They would then open the Wild Samoan Training Center to train future wrestlers, and among them were names like Dave Batista. Afa even founded a scholarship program for disadvantaged youth. Afa will always be a pillar of the Anoa’i legacy, whose love and passion will live on forever.
“Take care of each other, and trust in God.” Thank you, Afa, and thank you, Wild Samoans.
No Disqualifications: Bronson Reed VS The Miz!
The Colossal Aussie has been on a rampage, crushing Seth Rollins just to get noticed, and then crushing R-Truth just because he couldn’t crush The Miz! Well, the Hollywood A-Lister is with Adam Pearce at gorilla. Pearce says the more he thinks about this, the more he doesn’t like it. Pearce feels he should just suspend Bronson because clearly, it doesn’t matter how much he gets fined, and it doesn’t matter who he hurts. The only reason Bronson is still here is because Miz asked for a match he doesn’t even have to have. Unless Miz says he really wants it. Miz says he doesn’t know if he does, really!
If Miz was Pearce, YES, he would suspend Bronson and ban the Tsunami! But Bronson took out R-Truth, Miz’s friend. And in case you don’t know, Miz doesn’t have a lot of friends here. But the ones he does have, he fights for! So no, maybe he doesn’t want to do this, but Miz knows he has to do this. The Miz is bringing out that Marine (the WWE movie franchise) in him! Will Miz avenge Truth and Rollins in one go? Or will he just be added to the pile?
Miz rushes down the ramp, slides into the ring, dodges Bronson and fires hands as the bell rings! Bronson shoves Miz back to CLOBBER him! The fans are torn as Miz flops out to the floor. Bronson goes out after Miz, but Miz has a chair! Miz JAMS Bronson, SMACKS him, and then swings on him again! Bronson SWATS the chair!? Bronson CHOPS Miz, then runs up, but Miz POSTS Bronson! Bronson flops, Miz throws the chair into the ring, and then he sends in more chairs! And then kendo sticks, and a trash can! Miz is going hardcore and the fans are loving it! Especially as Miz brings out a TABLE!
Miz sets the table in the ring, storm sin, and he SMACKS Bronson with a kendo stick! Miz SMACKS Bronson again but Bronson catches the stick! Bronson HEADBUTTS Miz down, BREAKS the stick on his knee, then throws the pieces away. Bronson drags Miz up to scoop and SLAM on the trash can! Bronson then SMACKS Miz with the can! Bronson grabs a chair, and takes a seat, resting his massive feet on Miz like an ottoman! The fans boo but Bronson laughs, and Raw goes to break.
Raw returns, Bronson HEADBUTTS Miz down, and then runs in! Miz dodges, Bronson runs into the chair in the corner! The fans fire up as Bronson staggers, and Miz kicks and fires hands! Bronson shoves Miz, but Miz JAMS Bronson with another chair! Miz then goes up, TORNADO DDT onto the chair!! Cover, ONE!?!? Bronson says now he’s pissed! Bronson snarls as he stands, but Miz SMACKS him with a kendo stick! And SMACKS again! And again! Miz fires off more shots, then goes corner to corner, to KENDO STICK CHECK! Miz goes to the apron, springboards in, but Bronson catches him! And pops him up! But Miz slips free!
Miz BOOTS Bronson, and Bronson wobbles in front of the table! Miz BOOTS again, and BOOTS again! Bronson wobbles, Miz gets moving! Bronson LARIATS Miz!! Bronson then hauls Miz up, but Miz slips free! Full nelson, but Bronson fights the Finale! Fireman’s carry, DEATH VALLEY DRIVER into the table! The table breaks, pieces falling onto Miz! Bronson goes to a corner, CHUCKS the chairs out of the way, then goes up! TSUNAMI!! Cover, Bronson wins!
Winner: Bronson Reed, by pinfall
Miz put up a heroic performance, but some monsters are just too tough! And in some cases, are just too vicious! Bronson goes up top, but BRAUN~ is here!! Braun Strowman storms in, and now Auszilla stares down #OneBigSOB! The Monster of All Monsters dares Bronson to try something with him! Bronson grins, but when and where will we see these two have their kaiju movie moment?
Backstage interview with Sheamus.
Jackie Redmond is again with The Fella, and congratulates him on the win tonight. However, how is the hand? He won’t lie, the hand is beat to bits, but it’s nothing a few pints won’t fix. And look, fair play to Butch- er, Dunne. They went toe to toe and put on a banger. The lad’s got problems, but maybe he just needs a little time and some therapy to chase the demons away. But wait, here comes Kaiser. Kaiser asks why we’re wasting time on the opening act. We should talk to the man who is going to main event Monday Night Raw tonight! To the man who is going to beat Randy Orton in the middle of that ring! That man is Ludwig Kaiser.
Sheamus asks Jackie if he could talk with Kaiser alone. Jackie steps away and Kaiser tells Sheamus that once he’s done with Orton, Kaiser will come right back for Sheamus so they can settle things once and for all. Oh, yeah? Guess a few broken ribs and smashed eye weren’t enough for Kaiser. But they’re 1-1 so any time Kaiser wants to finish the trilogy, you know where to find Sheamus. Either way, he’ll be celebrating the win with a pint at the bar around the corner, watching Kaiser take an RKO. Good luck tonight, fella. Sheamus leaves, will Kaiser even remember where he is after Orton’s done with him?
Backstage interview with Bron Breakker.
Cathy Kelley is with the WWE Intercontinental Champion, and she congratulates him on retaining the title in the brutal Best 2 Out of 3 Falls match with Sami Zayn. Now that Sami is definitively behind Bron, what are his future plans? Bron says it is a good thing he went to a highly educated university, because today he has heard there will be a tournament to determine the next challenger. Which is fine, because Adam Pearce can’t stand the fact that Bron is progressing through this entire roster at such a fast rate of speed! And now Pearce wants to slow Bron down with this tournament.
It’s not Bron’s fault! It isn’t Bron’s fault that he’s a badass! A genetic freak! More talented than anyone here! That the dogs are barking in every city that the WWE goes to! And it is not Bron’s fault that he earned this Intercontinental Championship. So have a tournament. But to the poor soul that wins it, that has the nerve to stand in front of Bron, Bron will spear them through the FLOOR, and give them the beating of a lifetime! And that… that will be Bron’s fault. The champion puts all challengers on notice, who will still step up to try him anyway?
Damian Priest VS Dominik Mysterio!
The Punisher, former Senor Money in the Bank, former El Campeon del Mundo, and the man the Judgment Day has yet to keep down despite all the gang attacks, is supposed to be intimidated by Dirty Dom? Yeah, sounds pretty dumb, right? Will Priest give Dom just a taste of what’s coming at Bash In Berlin? Or is this going to be a case of new Judgment Day, same story?
Oh well here goes! JD McDonagh & Carlito run down after Priest before the bell! But he DECKS each of them! Then he SMACKS Carlito off the apron! Finn runs in with a chair, but Priest mule kicks him first! Dom looks a bit worried now, because Priest JAMS Carlito with the chair! Priest grins at Finn but Finn wants mercy! Priest winds up but JD snatches the chair! So Priest TOSSES JD! Priest choke grips Finn, but Carlito makes the save! So Priest SUPERKICKS Carlito! And he ROUNDHOUSES McDonagh! Dom is really worried now, because he has no back-up! The fans fire up as Rhea slips in behind Dom!
Dom turns around to see his former Mami, and she blows him a kiss. Dom turns back around, to see Priest! HEADBUTT, HAYMAKER! Dom is down and The Terror Twins smile. Rhea is so giddy as she goes out to clear the desk! Rhea says feed him to her! Priest TOSSES Dom out, Rhea hauls him up, and the fans are thunderous! But Liv SMAACKS Rhea with a chair! And then the boys swarm Priest! The fans boo as the 5v2 is going Judgment Day’s way! Liv beats down Rhea against the desk, but Priest fights off the boys! Only for Carlito to hit a BACKSTABBER! That move’s name has never been more appropriate!
Liv CLUBS away on Rhea to keep her down, and then the boys make Priest watch! Liv POSTS Rhea, bad arm first! And then Liv TOSSES Rhea over the desk! The fans chant for Jey Uso, but Liv sends Rhea into steel steps! And then back into the POST! Rhea writhes in pain, the mugging on Priest continues, and Finn climbs up! COUP DE GRACE!! Liv joins her Judgment Day in the ring, and lines up a shot on Rhea! ObLIVion!! The fans boo but the mugging on Priest continues! Dom climbs, smiles, and gives us Latino Heat! Then a FROG SPLASH!! The Terror Twins knew it was a trap, and they couldn’t do anything about it! But will it be a different story at Bash In Berlin?
The Judgment Day regroups backstage.
Raw returns as they celebrate their small victory here, and Finn says that is how they do it! He tells the cameraman to get closer on this. Finn tells Damian & Rhea, “You know what that is? That’s just a little taste, that’s just a little sample, of what’s gonna happen to both of you in Berlin.” Dom says Priest was only world champion because of The Judgment Day. McDonagh says Priest is now not world champion, because of The Judgment Day. Carlito says now that is cool! Liv says Rhea likes to think she made Dom a man, but Dom has always been all man. And Bash In Berlin, Liv makes Rhea her b*tch!
Judgment Day is all proud of themselves now, but will that pride come before the fall?
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships Triple Threat: Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn VS Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark VS Iyo Sky & Kairi Sane!
There’s a bit of deja vu in this match, as it as the Triple Threat in Glasgow that crowned The Unholy Union as the new champions. The Queen of Spades & Hunter are back for another try, but the Evil Genius & Pirate Princess jump in where Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair were. Will Alba & Isla make this a repeat of the Clash at the Castle? Will Shayna & Zoey have redemption now that they’re the Pure Fusion Collective? Or will the Women’s Tag Division once again be under Damage CTRL?
The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see who can defy the odds!
In this Triple Threat, only two teams are legal at a time. The teams try to sort things out, but Shayna takes a swing! Alba dodges it, and Iyo SHOTEIS Shayna first! Zoey runs up, Iyo dodges, and Isla ROCKS her! Now it’s just a brawl of DMG CTRL and the wicked witches! DMG CTRL DOUBLE DROPKICK, but then Shayna TOSSES Iyo! Shayna and Kairi are alone so the bell rings! Shayna whips, Kairi goes up and RANAS back! Kairi KICKS Shayna in the side, and Iyo joins her! The fans fire up with DMG CTRL, and Kairi runs in to get a boost from Iyo, though not quite enough. Kairi adjusts and uses the ropes to FLING herself onto PFC!
The fans cheer as Kairi stands tall, and then Iyo DIVES to wipe out the Unholy Union! Florida fires up for the Sky Pirates while Raw goes to break.
Raw returns and ZOey & Shayna mug Kairi. Zoey CHOKES Kairi on ropes, the ref counts, so Zoe lets off. Sonya gets a cheap shot! Isla pretends to be upset but it really just helps the champs on some level. Zoey suplexes Kairi, but Kairi DDT COUNTERS! The fans fire up while Kairi and Zoey are down, and they crawl for their corners. Hot tag to Shayna and she drags Kairi away from Iyo! So Kairi ENZIGIRIS Shayna, and Shayna staggers into a tag from Alba! Hot tag to Iyo, and the fans fire up! Iyo dodges Alba to SHOTEI Isla! Then SHOTEI for Alba! SHOTEI for Shayna! Zoey dodges, but Iyo blocks the superkick to SWING it into Shayna!
The fans fire up as Iyo SHOTEIS Zoey, too! Alba runs up, Iyo wrenches her to whip to the corner. Iyo runs in to ELBOW, then she BOOTS Isla! Iyo keeps Alba stuck, Shayna runs in and Iyo dodges! Shayan htis Alba, Iyo ROCKS Shayna! Iyo springboards to DOUBLE MISSILE DROPKICK Isla and Zoey! Iyo kips up, and now they’re all double stacked in corners! The fans fire up with Iyo, the SHINKANSEN hits Shayna and Alba! Then SHINKANSEN for Zoey and Isla! The fans fire up with Iyo, and she hauls Alba up! Underhooks for the TIGER- NO, Alba slips free! Alba BOOTS from a corner, then goes up! But Kairi anchors her!
Iyo comes back to SHORYUKEN! Then Iyo climbs, brings Alba up, and Kairi tags in to join in! DMG CTRL has Alba fore a DOUBLE SUPERPLEX!! Kairi covers, Isla breaks it! Iyo ROCKS Isla! Shayna ROUNDHOUSES Iyo! Alba HEADBUTTS Shayna! Sonya stands up but Alba SUPERKICKS her! Kairi SPEARS Alba! The fans fire up again, and Kairi pounds the mat. Kairi storms around, and she goes corner to corner, but has to DECK Sonya first! Shayna KICKS and KNEES Kairi, Zoey tags off Alba! SUPERKICK for Alba, tag to Shayna! But Iyo runs in, so Zoey gets her! ROLLING DEATH VALLEY, and Shayna SLIDING KNEES Iyo!
Kairi is up top now! PFC turn around and Kairi DOUBLE CROSSBODIES! The fans fire up again and Kairi says she’ll finish this! But Shayna ROCKS her! Kairi dusts herself off, winds up and ROCKS Shayna! The forearms keep going, the fans fire up with Kairi but boo Shayna! Shayna fires a flurry, then KICKS! Shayna soaks up the heat, runs, but into a FOREARM! Kairi runs, but Shayna reels her in! KIRAFUDA KLUTCH!! Shayna sits Kairi down, but Kairi powers up to RAM Shayna into buckles! Kairi fights free, then URAKENS! Shayna falls over, Kairi powers that arm up again! The fans cheer as Kairi climbs!
But Isla tags in before the InSANE Elbow! Shayna KNEES Kairi, clamps on a KIRAFUDA, but Isla tags Alba before she hits a BACKSTABBER on Shayna! Alba goes up, Shayna hasn’t let Kairi go! So Alba SWANTON BOMBS them both!! Cover, Unholy Union win!!
Winners: Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn, by pinfall (still WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions)
Sonya is stunned, DMG CTRL is in disbelief, but somehow, someway, the wicked witches win out! But now they turn their attention to this Friday Night SmackDown and the BIG Six Woman Tag! Will Alba, Isla and their new pal, Blair Davenport, be able to take down the #Big3 that is Jade, Bianca & Naomi?
Gunther talks with Kaiser backstage.
Der Ring General is giving the Impeccable German some final pointers before the main event. Will Kaiser’s European Elegance take down The Viper? Or will Orton remind us all why he is The Apex Predator?
Backstage interview with Jey Uso.
Jackie Redmond is with #EatSleepYEETRepeat, and says it has been a minute. But the fans have been so excited seeing Jey and Sami Zayn reuniting, maybe even as a tag team. But after last week’s loss to Bron Breakker, can Jey shed any light on Sami’s condition? Jey says his dawg just needed time to clear his head. He put in work week after week, so he’ll be back with a vengeance. But Sami said to Jey, if Sami can’t be champion, that doesn’t mean Jey can’t be. So Jey is thinking, he still wants that singles title, and he heard that big itch, Bron Breakker, talking that smack about being IC Champion.
Jey hollered at Pearce, put his name in the hat for the tournament, so the next time you see Main Event Jey Uso in your city, he’ll have that Intercontinental Championship on his shoulder. You feel that? Okay. YEET. Jey heads out, his eyes set on a new prize. Will we soon see a clash of multigenerational superstars?
Randy Orton VS Ludwig Kaiser!
Imperium tried to take out The Viper before Bash In Berlin, but that opening salvo wasn’t enough. Will the Impeccable German truly have to be perfect if he wants to stop Orton from making it to next week? Or will he just be an example to Der Ring General when he takes an RKO outta nowhere?
Raw returns and Kaiser makes his entrance. The bell rings, the fans rally, and the two stare down. The fans chant for “RANDY! RANDY!” and “USA! USA!” as the two slowly circle. Then the chants become, “Let’s Go, Randy!” “Kaiser Sucks!” Orton makes sure Kaiser hears that, and then the two tie up. Orton headlocks, Kaiser powers up and out, but Orton runs him over! The fans fire up while Kaiser scowls. Kaiser stands, he and Orton tie up again. Orton slips around to a waistlock, but Kaiser fights the lift. Kaiser pries at the hold, wrenches it open to waistlock back, but Orton returns the favor. Orton headlocks then hits a takeover.
The fans cheer while Orton grinds Kaiser down. Kaiser fights up, powers Orton to a corner, and the ref counts. Orton and Kaiser let go slowly, and Kaiser backs up. But then Kaiser kicks low! Kaiser fires hands, CHOSP Orton, and the fans ‘WOO~!” Kaiser pie faces Orton, so Orton DECKS him! Orton then scoops Kaiser, to FALL AWAY SLAM! That’s a new one for Orton, but he has the muscles for it! Orton drags Kaiser up to UPPERCUT, then he UPPERCUTS again! Kaiser flounders, Orton UPPERCUTS again! Orton puts Kaiser back in the corner, goes up, and he rains down fists! The fans count, and Orton grins as he takes his time.
Orton still goes all the way to nine, hops down, and the UPPERCUT is TEN! The fans cheer and Kaiser bails out. Orton pursues but Kaiser body shots, then returns those UPPERCUTS! Kaiser CHOPS, but Orton CHOPS! Kaiser falls and the fans cheer. Orton SMACKS Kaiser off the desk, and the fans fire up for the DESK- WAIT! Gunther is at ringside now! The fans boo as Gunther talks trash to distract Orton. Orton lets Kaiser go, but Kaiser KICKS the leg! A tactic a lot like earlier tonight but it still works! Orton hobbles, and Kaiser hits the DESK BACK SUPLEX! Orton writhes, Kaiser gets in the ring, and Kaiser soaks up the heat!
The ref has a count started but Kaiser goes back out. Kaiser RAMS Orton into the steel steps! The fans rally for Orton but Kaiser refreshes the count. Kaiser builds speed going around the way, and he DROPKICKS the leg against steps! Orton falls in a heap and Gunther is pleased, but the fans boo and Raw goes to break.
Raw returns once again and Orton fires body shots to escape the chinlock! Orton then HEADBUTTS Kaiser, but Kaiser fights off the back suplex! Orton’s bad leg lets him down, and then Kaiser STOMPS it! Kaiser YANKS the bad leg, drags Orton around, and drops an elbow on that knee! Gunther coaches Kaiser as he pulls on the toehold, but Orton endures. The fans rally, Kaiser ELBOWS the leg again, but Orton pulls Kaiser’s hair. Kaiser digs his knuckles into the knee! Orton CLUBS away on Kaiser! Kaiser lets off, the fans rally up again, but Kaiser stands on the bad leg. The fans boo as Kaiser then HIP DROPS the knee!
Kaiser soaks up the heat, then HIP DROPS the leg again! Kaiser soaks up more heat while he stalks Orton, as does Gunther. Kaiser jumps but Orton BOOTS him up and out! The fans fire up and Gunther is upset, but Orton heads outside. Orton UPPERCUTS, HEADBUTTS, and he has Kaiser against the desk! Orton goes for steps but Kaiser blocks that! Kaiser throws body shots, SMACKS Orton off the steps, then fires hands. Kaiser lets off, refreshes the count again, and he again goes around the outside! But Orton meets him with a LARIAT!! Orton seethes, glares at Gunther, and then hauls Kaiser up. DESK BACK SUPLEX!
Kaiser writhes and the fans fire up! Orton stares Gunther down, before he hits another DESK BACK SUPLEX! Fans want that “ONE MORE TIME!” so Orton hits a third DESK BACK SUPLEX!! Gunther is fuming but Orton isn’t done with Kaiser! A fourth DESK BACK SUPLEX!! Kaiser tumbles right off the desk, Orton refreshes the count, and then Orton goes right back for Kaiser. Orton puts Kaiser in the ring, but Kaiser runs up! Orton dodges, and SNAP POWERSLAMS! The fans fire up again and Orton smirks at Gunther. Kaiser flounders to the apron, but Orton drags himself in through the ropes!
The fans love it but Kaiser fights free! HOTSHOT! The fans boo, Gunther is relieved, and Kaiser GAMANGIRIS! Cover, TWO! Orton is tougher than that, or else how could he be a 14-time world champion? Kaiser fumes and soaks up the heat. Kaiser goes up, but Orton ROCKS him first! The fans rally as Orton climbs, and he brings Kaiser up to the very top! SUPERPELX! Kaiser writhes, Gunther is upset, but the fans continue to rally for “R K O! R K O!” Orton puts Kaiser in the ropes, for the DRAPING DDT! The fans are thunderous as Orton hears those voices in his head! Kaiser rises, into the- NO, Kaiser rolls Orton up! TWO!!
Orton rises, to RKO!! Still outta nowhere, and Orton covers, Orton wins!
Winner: Randy Orton, by pinfall
Gunther frowns while Orton smirks. Orton draws a line in the sand, so Gunther storms right in! The brawl is on! Orton has the edge already, but Gunther turns it around! The fans boo as Gunther UPPERCUTS and ROCKS Orton! Orton ROCKS and CLUBS Gunther! And then POSTS him! And then fires more hands! Raw has to go off the air, but is Orton going to beat Gunther down until midnight?
My Thoughts:
Another great Raw tonight, and while CM Punk said the WWE is on a hot streak because of the fans, nay nay, it is because WWE finally has people in it who know what they’re doing. But that’s an argument for another article, I do wanna say that Punk and McIntyre had a great promo to set up their Strap Match, and that match will still be very good, BUT it would’ve been so much better if they left out the four corners stipulation. That stipulation is very rarely done in a creative, exciting way, I would rather this be a match that’s just them lashing each other with the strap and is otherwise No Disqualification, because the goal isn’t the corners, it’s each other.
Speaking of No Disqualifications, Bronson VS Miz as a No DQ match was great stuff, and not only was it logical on the level that Miz was doing this for Truth, it was logical that the weapons were Miz’s only chance of beating Bronson, but it also just backfires because Bronson can use them, too. Bronson of course wins, and I do appreciate that this is new story for Braun Strowman. Braun said he hates bullies, and he also wants to reestablish his own dominance as top monster, and with how Bronson’s been on the warpath, this is a great move. I don’t know if this is gonna be the newest “ring breaking superplex” moment, given that torch was passed to Braun the last time Big Show wrestled, but it’d be fitting if they did that spot to main event a Raw.
We also got two No Contests, much to my surprise, but they did so with great story reasons behind them. The first was with The Wyatt Sick6 going after American Made, perfect stuff there. Now we can do some Mixed Tag matches, maybe a Mixed Six Tag, and maybe even a Mixed 8 Tag or something more chaotic. The other No Contest was great Judgment Day stuff. Very good promos from everyone, and Dom & Liv basically won Most Delusional Heel(s) with theirs. But Judgment Day had to stand tall at some point, especially as the street gang they’ve become, because otherwise, the math wouldn’t add up for The Terror Twins to win out in the end.
Great Women’s Triple Threat Tag for the titles, but I figured Alba & Isla were retaining. They’ll still bring those belts to SmackDown because Jade & Bianca need their 2v2 rematch, which they probably earn by winning the Six Woman Tag. And then, if Alba & Isla retain, maybe Jade & Bianca each aim for the singles title and have to fight it out. And great stuff in the New Day story. I appreciate Kofi bringing up the forced smiles from Woods, and I like the camera work as Kofi gives the hot tag. We get to feel like Woods felt, seeing Kofi was there but then Jones quite literally gets between them. They’re still winning, but there’s gotta be a point where Woods snaps and maybe verbally lashes out first. I don’t think he should join Final Testament but Woods should at least leave Kofi behind.
Good opening promo from Orton with Gunther, though Orton was never about being charismatic clever Face so it kinda lulled in the middle. And of course we Muricans gotta get the “USA! USA!” chant in there. But Imperium playing dirty was good stuff, and it did give us a great main event out of Orton VS Kaiser. Orton of course won, and he of course brawled with Gunther. I have mixed feelings about having to cut away just because of another dumb USA Network original reality TV game show thing. On one hand, it’s disappointing because the reality TV show is prerecorded, USA could start it any time. On the other, this is all the more reason WWE on Netflix will actually be a good thing.
Kaiser still bringing up his rivalry with Sheamus was also good stuff. I wonder if we get Gunther & Kaiser VS Orton & Sheamus in a tag match. Sheamus VS Dunne was a great opening match, and a great win for Sheamus to go back to the story with Kaiser. And if there is such a tag match, you can bet Kaiser loses it for Imperium to give Orton momentum going into Bash In Berlin without Gunther having to be beat down again. Bron Breakker has a good promo to announce the contender’s tournament, and Jey has a good promo to enter himself into said tournament.
As such, I feel like it has to come down to Jey Uso winning the tournament, and he challenges Bron at like Bad Blood in October. Feels like a cop out so they don’t have Sami and Jey helping Damian and Rhea, but I guess that depends on who else is in this coming tournament.
My Score: 8.9/10

The Death Riders speak.
It was after AEW Dynamite on Wednesday that Jon Moxley said, “Every time I step into the ring with Kyle O’Reilly, I can’t find a way to win. It’s been failure after failure after failure. Kyle O’Reilly has tapped me out, twice. Ipso facto, Kyle O’Reilly will be the new Continental Champion. You might think. But the Jon Moxley of six months ago is not the same as Jon Moxley of today. Who I will be tomorrow is better than who I am today. Logic and strategy would dictate that I should stay as far away from Kyle O’Reilly as I can. Because there’s no doubt about it, Kyle, you have my number.
The thing about this Continental Championship, it’s good bait. All the dragons I wanna slay come right to my door. I will do what I’ve done for 22 years surviving in this business, Kyle: I’m gonna find a way.” The Maniac heads out, and Claudio Castagnoli steps forward to tell Brody King that Brody always brings the bark. But if he steps in the ring with Claudio in the Owen Hart Tournament, he better bring the bite. Pac then says, “Nobody gets special treatment. It doesn’t matter who you are, Death Riders against the world.” Daniel Garcia says yeah, let’s get it! Yuta repeats, “Against the world.” Marina Shafir tells the world, “Bring it, you p*ssies!”
AEW World Trios Championship Eliminator: The Conglomeration VS Lee Moriarty & The Infantry w/ Shane Taylor Promotions!
Well speaking of Kyle O’Reilly, he, Orange Cassidy, and the returning Mark Briscoe are going to put STP to the test! #TAIGASTYLE is still ROH Pure Champion, but Shawn Dean & Carlie Bravo are upset after losing the ROH World Six Man Tag titles. Will STP take out their frustrations as they rumble, bad man, rumble? Or will the Violent Artist, Freshly Squeezed & Sussex County Chicken simply send #THEM home emptyhanded?
The trios sort out and Briscoe steps up against #BadNews&Tattoos. The fans are behind Briscoe as he and Bravo circle. They approach, Bravo kicks low, and he flips everyone off. Cassidy says okay, and he raises his hands, to then slowly, slowly, put them in his pockets!

Cover, Briscoe breaks it! Bravo is upset, but he CLUBS Cassidy. Cassidy fights the suplex, Bravo CLUBS him again and again, then suplexes through! Cover, TWO! Cassidy toughs it out but Bravo drags Cassidy over to the corner.
Dean tags in, The Infantry stomps away on Cassidy, but the ref counts. Dean stops to kneel on Cassidy, then steps off again. Cassidy throws “shots” on the leg, but Dean stomps Cassidy down! Dean then BLASTS Briscoe & Kyle! The ref reprimands but that just lets Bravo CHOKE Cassidy! The ref reprimands Bravo now as Collision returns to single picture. Dean asks, “Is this camera on me? B! B! C!” BRONCO BUSTER CAPTAIN! Dean bounces, Bravo says if you see Cap in that corner, yo’ ass is a goner! Dean drags Cassidy up, tags Bravo, and Dean sends Bravo in for the SPLASH! Then feed to Dean, but Cassidy tilt-o-whirl DDTS!

When it rains, it pours for STP! Will they just have to regroup and refocus taking over ROH? Will The Conglomeration continue to #ManUp here in AEW?
Will Ospreay speaks.
It was also after Dynamite that The Aerial Assassin told Samoa Joe, “My apologies for not getting back to any of your messages, been a little bit busy training and getting myself ready for The Owen. Surprised to see you there in the opening round, mate. It’s gonna be a tough one. But if you can just bear with me for a hot second while I explain to you… Six months of my life got taken away from me, mate. Six months, I’ve been sitting in front of a TV screen, watching AEW, looking at it, trying to get my strength back in my arms, rushing to get back. That’s six months of frustration, six months of anger. And then I finally had my kill shot on Dynasty, and I lost.
“And ever since then, man, I’ve been struggling with my matches. Doc even stopped one for my own safety. I’m annoyed that I didn’t get revenge on Jon. But I’m more upset at the idea that I can’t be the guy that AEW put their trust in once upon a time. Regardless of how I feel about Jon, regardless of how I feel about The Death Riders, there’s nothing that I can say that’ll make people ever understand. But Jon Moxley is the Ace, he’s a soldier for this place. And while his methods might be sick, there are people who stand up to see him get elevated. So what could it happen with him in my corner?
“Joe, I’ve got nothing but respect for ya. Everything that you’ve done in this industry. Mate, you were in the match that made me want to become a pro-wrestler. But no one, no one, is stopping me from winning The Owen. And I find it very poetic that the man takt took away my old life has given me a second chance of capturing the world championship.” The Billy Goat is ready to become something more, but will Samoa Joe make sure Ospreay goes Double or Nothing and loses?
Backstage interview with The Conglomeration.
Lexy Nair congratulates them on their win tonight, and brings up that Moxley has accepted Kyle’s challenge. Kyle says yes, Moxley is right, Kyle has his number. But facing Moxley has been the biggest test of Kyle’s career, so what’s one more test? This Wednesday, it’s a title eliminator, and after Kyle makes Moxley submit again, he is putting all his chips in and goes Double or Nothing! Briscoe says damn right, Kyle. And speaking of Dynamite, Tommaso Ciampa, Briscoe put it plain and clear, but he hasn’t heard a word from Ciampa! If Ciampa’s scared, he should just say it! Cassidy says Willow needs to say something.
Willow says sure, okay. Great job, guys, really. But for her, Double or Nothing, it will be TRIPLE or nothing, because she has THIS bad boy, the TBS Championship! But she’s also coming for The Owen, and the World Championship! As for tonight, Red Velvet may have beaten Willow to qualify for The Owen, but that won’t happen tonight. Welcome back to AEW, time to meet the Comeback Killer. Lexy says by the way, that match is next. Willow fires up, hurries off to make her entrance, but will she be ready to cook with The Chef?
AEW TBS Championship: Willow Nightingale VS Red Velvet!

Backstage interview with Sammy Guevara.
Lexy Nair is with The Spanish God and brings up how he called out Darby Allin just last night at Supercard of Honor for the AEW World Championship. But just like last night, Sammy hushes “Chica” Lexy, and says, “Everybody’s Favorite Pillar is about to talk, so zip it and listen. Darby, I don’t need to call my shot against you because I looked through the history books, and history’s on my side. I’ve beaten you not once, not twice, not three times, I’ve beaten you four times. When I look at the history books, I’m a three-time TNT Champion while you, you’ve only held that belt twice.
“So I’m gonna beat you tonight like I’ve beaten you before. I’m gonna stamp my ticket to Double or Nothing, and MJF, I know you’re watching, you sociopath. I’m gonna beat you next week and I’m gonna shave you BALD! But don’t worry, I’ll give you a nice little fade. Because I am the best! I am the best wrestler, I am the best talker, I am the best this planet has! I’m the Spanish God, dammit! I’m number one, I’ve been here since day one, and there’s only one way this is gonna go: With me as the NEW AEW World Champion! Darby, your time is up, and my time is now. Because I am Numero Uno. That means ‘number one.'”
Sammy heads out, but is his big head only going to get in the way tonight?

Then he thought, “What a stupid question. Of course he’s not gonna be at Collision.” MJF is not a company man, he only cares about himself. And those same people asked back, why is Darby back? Why is Darby defending his title again? Double or Nothing is next Sunday, why is Darby risking losing this? Because Darby loves this!
And if there’s anyone in this company as crazy as Darby, it is Sammy Guevara. Darby loves it! Darby realizes this could all end tonight, and Speedball wants his match on Wednesday? Well, if Darby walks out here tonight, then on Dynamite, it’s Showtime! Darby thanks Lexy then heads back out. Will the Relentless Reign be an unstoppable one? Trick Williams is here!
The University of South Carolina fires up and chants for “WHOOP DAT TRICK!” as their hero has returned home! The WWE United States Champion has Lil Yachty and Cocky the Gamecock with him as he goes to the ring. Trick gets the mic, has them cut his music, and says straight outta South Cac and doesn’t know how to act, Trick Willy has come back to Columbia, South Carolina! Representing WJ Keenan High, and the University of South Carolina, he grew up right here on these streets. He remembers driving up Trick Notch Road, cutting right to his favorite restaurant, Kiki’s Chicken ‘n’ Waffles, and he’d get the special sauce! The sauce so good, you gotta eat while standing up!
And ol’ Trick would get the wings, and he’s a big man, 6’5″, 250 pounds, the sauce would drip down past his three chains, his eight abs, and onto his two… lemon pepper steppers! Trick continues by saying playing for the Gamecocks, he had a lot of good days, some not so good days, but his family’s here. And Mama told him, “Boy, you are a king created by God Almighty. Never forget who you are or whose you are, don’t ever let ’em break you!” So from WWE to Kiki’s Chicken ‘n’ Waffles, to Mama, look at the star you’ve created! But then THE MIZ makes his entrance! He is accompanied by Kit Wilson, and the fans boo.
The Miz tells everyone, “Oh my gosh, it’s a homecoming! You even brought out Cocky the mascot! Last week was the Gingerbread Man! Trick, your whole career is starting to look like rejected mascots for my daughter’s birthday party! Is this WWE or Sesame Street? What’s next? Is Big Bird gonna come out? And people say they have trouble taking ME seriously.” Yachty says this is Miz’s problem, coming out here to disrespect Trick Williams in his homecoming to his hometown of Columbia, SC, in front of Trick’s friends and family! Y’all got some nerve! That’s why you got beat up by the Minihausens, and why you’re cursed.
Miz says he is NOT cursed! The fans chant “You Are Cursed!” “Whoop Dat Trick!” Yachty says Miz sounds cursed. Kit shouts, “WAKE UP! WAKE UP! You clearly aren’t understanding what the master is saying, so maybe I will speak to you in a language you can understand: SLAM POETRY!” The fans boo again, but Kit has his notebook out. “Kit Willy” says they wouldn’t last a day on the streets where he grew up. Kit from Buckinghamshire England is gonna lyrically mess you up! “Trick ‘n’ Yachty, you’re two obnoxious folk. That’s two egos The Miz will never stroke. This town is filled with bros and nasty jocks, only to be united by the love of their toxic Gamecocks!”
The fans boo but Yachty says he wants to try that. The fans cheer Yachty on, Trick says hit ’em with it! Yachty says on their tombstone, it’ll read Kit Wilson: Better Known for Assisting The Miz. They already completed this biz, they don’t even know who Kit is, but Kit’s tan got him yellow, like the road to The Wiz. Y’all ain’t handsome as we is, which is why they’re sick. It’d be a shame we show Columbia how to Whoop Dat Trick. Yachty is a diamond platinum artist, he done it all. Oh, they’re made Trick came out with Cocky, cuz Miz has lil’ tiny balls! The fans cheer that! Kit says no, they’re MASSIVE! The fans disagree.
Miz puts his hand up and asks if they know what that means! When his hand goes up, your mouths go shut! He is so sick of this! They’re not bringing Tiny Balls back, there is no curse, and Miz wants to get out of this dumpster fire of a city with their stupid chicken! If Miz lived here, he’d volunteer to move to Tennessee! The fans boo, but Miz says get a referee out here right here, right now, cuz Miz is gonna whoop Trick’s ass in front of his mama! Kit says he’s- TRICK SLAP on Kit! HAYMAKER on Kit! Then Trick ‘n’ Yachty DUMP Kit out! Trick LARIATS Miz up and out! Columbia is thunderous, but will Trick still give Miz the fight he wants?
Trick Williams w/ Lil Yachty VS The Miz w/ Kit Wilson!
SmackDown returns and while non-title, Trick and Miz are indeed having their fight. The bell rings, the two tie up, and Trick powers Miz back with his height as leverage. Miz pulls hair to turn things around, but the ref reprimands and counts. Miz lets off to shove Trick, but Trick SHOVES Miz down! The fans cheer, Miz swings, but Trick dodges to CHOP! Miz headlocks, Trick powers up and out, then Trick hurdles, ducks ‘n’ dodges, and LEAPING LARIATS! The fans fire up with Trick while Miz flounders to the apron. Trick storms over, brings Miz up, but Miz HOTSHOTS back! The fans boo but Miz hurries up to the apron.
Miz climbs up the corner, soaks up that heat, but then the chant of “TINY BALLS!” throws Miz off. Miz leaps, but into a BODY SHOT! Trick fi res haymakers and an UPPERCUT! Trick whips, Miz reverses, then Miz kitchen sink knees! Miz hits a basement BOOT, then he rips off his shirt to show off his own abs. Miz CHOKES Trick on ropes, backs off as the ref counts, but then Miz runs to STRADDLE ATTACK! The fans boo but Miz mocks the Williams family. Miz goes back to Trick to stomp away, but the fans still mock his “TINY BALLS! TINY BALLS!” Miz frowns, runs, but Trick avoids the kick! Trick gets up, JUMP NECKBREAKER!
The fans fire up again as Trick has Miz in the corner. Trick fires haymakers, then winds up to TRICK SLAP! Miz sits down, the fans cheer the mudhole, but Trick stops as the ref counts. Miz staggers to his feet, takes a swing, but Trick ducks it to back suplex. Miz lands out, FIN- NO, Trick arm-drags free! Miz bails out before a Trick Shot can land! Trick hurries after Miz, they cat ‘n’ mouse around the outside, but Trick avoids the dropkick! Trick UPPERCUTS Miz, THROWS him into barriers, then THROWS him into more barriers! Trick puts Miz back in the ring, but Kit UPPERCUTS Trick behind the ref’s back!
The fans boo as Kit hurries away. Yachty warns Kit but Kit flexes and swivels at him. Yachty is upset but Miz WERCKS Trick with a dropkick after all! Miz taunts Yachty, knowing he can’t do anything, and SmackDown goes picture in picture.
Yachty says yeah, okay, Miz, real tough. Yachty leaves Miz alone, Miz THROWS Trick into barriers! The fans boo and give thumbs down but Miz just drags Trick to his feet. Miz puts Trick against barriers, right in front of Mama & Papa! Miz talks trash, then winds up, but Trick dodges! Trick CHOPS away on Miz right in front of the family! The family cheers Trick on, then he THROWS Miz into the LED apron! Trick then pushes Miz into the ring, stalks him to a corner, and CHOSP! Trick whips corner to corner, Miz stops short, and Miz BOOTS Trick in return! Miz smooths his hair and dusts himself off before he goes back to Trick.
Miz looms over Trick, taunts Mama, and even blows a kiss before he runs. BASEMENT BOOT! Miz then says he has MASSIVE balls, but Yachty don’t believe that. Miz drags Trick up, brings him in, and suplexes, only for Trick to block! Trick fights the lift, then he suplexes Miz up and over! The fans cheer while both men are down! Miz and Trick stir while Yachty and Kit coach each of them up. The fans rally, both men sit up, and Trick fires a haymaker! Miz fires back, SmackDown returns to single picture, and the shots keep going! Miz rebounds to ROCK Trick! Trick rebounds to UPPERCUT Miz! Trick fires haymakers and an UPPERCUT!
The fans fire up as Miz staggers, into the LEG LARIAT! And LEG LARIAT! Then a scoop and SLAM! Trick stands tall, has the wristlock, and the fans cheer as Trick lets his hair down! Cartwheel and ripcord, into the BOOKEND! Cover, TWO! Miz survives and Trick is surprised. The fans rally for Trick and he drags Miz up. Miz throat chops back! The fans boo but Trick returns, only to be sent into buckles! But Trick drops down to victory roll! TWO, then Miz kicks legs out! BASEMENT DDT! Cover, TWO! Trick survives and Miz is stunned! The fans rally up, but Miz waits on Trick. Trick sits up, into “It Kicks!”
The fans taunt Miz with “Tiny, Tiny Balls~!” but Miz scowls. Miz winds up, but Trick ducks the buzzsaw to roll Miz up, TWO! Miz runs up, into a FLAPJACK! Trick kips up and the fans fire up again! Trick is feeling it, and he aims from the corner. But Kit trips Trick up! Miz O’Conner Rolls, TWO! Trick has it, TWO! Miz catches Trick to the FINALE!! Cover, TWO?!? Miz can’t believe it as Trick survives his best shot! Kit protests on the apron, but this lets Miz sneak out and go looking under the ring. The fans boo but Miz has a kendo stick! Miz sneaks into the ring with it, but Yachty snatches it from Miz! The fans cheer but Kit rushes over!
Kit runs up on Yachty, but Yachty SMACKS Kit! And TOSSES him over the desk! Miz is furious, but here comes Trick! Miz dodges, but the TRICK SHOT finds him on return! Cover, Trick wins!
Winner: Trick Williams, by pinfall
Now South Carolina has another reason to celebrate with Trick! The champ wins in front of his family and friends here in Columbia,
Backstage interview with Carmelo Hayes.
Cathy Kelley is with H1M, saying his in-ring return will be against Ricky Saints. How is Melo feeling? Melo says he’s been gone for a month, but he’s seen SmackDown. Guys like Sami Zayn and Trick Williams are making a mockery of that US Championship, the title that Melo took so much pride putting in the work and building up the prestige. He is listening to the people, they want Melo, so you got Melo. When he shoots, he don’t miss, and he’s aiming for that US Championship, let’s talk about it. But then Ricky Saints steps in and says let’s talk about how Saints didn’t even get a proper welcome from Melo.
Melo asks what Ricky needs a hello for. Melo isn’t running for president, he just wants that title back. Saints says well, the thing is, since Melo was gone on vacay, the world’s different. There are new tenants in the building. Oh, are there? Well, when it comes to the ring, Melo is the landlord, and rent is due! Saints tells Melo to ask Aldis about him, ask Cody Rhodes about him. Melo says he’s looking at Saints and sees exactly what he is. Melo will say something: this place has a funny way of humbling people just like Saints, and even like Melo. It may not happen tonight, but it will happen one day, and that is absolute.
Oh, Melo is going to humble Ricky? Ricky doesn’t need advice. Melo needs a lesson! And the best teacher is right in front of H1M! Saints heads out, and Melo says it’s like looking in a dirty mirror. Melo is ready to get back in that ring, but will he get back to his winning ways?
Nick Aldis talks with Rey Fenix.
The SmackDown General Manager is very proud seeing The Immortal Firebird tear it up in Mexico with AAA. Fenix says he promises he has eyes on something big. Then Aldis looks forward to it. Fenix steps out, but Sami steps in. And Sami says he knows he lost at Backlash, and he is ashamed of himself. He did things very out of character, very underhanded, and the pressure of everyone treating him different got to him. But this is a wake up call, where Sami needs to go back to who he really is. So he is just asking for another rematch for the US Championship so he can do it the right way this time.
Aldis says he appreciates all that, but the thing is, Sami just had his rematch. So what comes next is Sami earning it. E-Earn it? Oh, so everything he’s done isn’t enough? They can go the past couple of weeks, months, or how about even YEARS?! Or is everyone so quick to forget?! Y’know who doesn’t forget? The Ride or Die Sami fans! Sami just wants to redeem himself for their sake. Aldis says no one has forgotten, certainly not him. We all know how good Sami is in the ring. But the thing is, Sami is clearly dealing with stuff, so he needs to go deal with it. Right now, all Aldis is getting from Sami is entitlement.
E-Entitlement?! Sami is about to go off, Fenix tells him to tranquilo. What’s going on with Sami? Sami says nothing! He’s the same guy he’s always been! It’s everyone else around here! Fenix asks what, how? Fenix barely recognizes Sami. Fenix storms off now, Sami grows frustrated, but there’s no water bottles to smack. Does Aldis have a point? Does Sami have to work on himself before he can get back to the gold?
Brie Bella & Paige VS Giulia & Kiana James!
The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions know the rosters of both brands are after them, and Cathy Kelley interviews them at gorilla position about it. How do they feel knowing that the target on their backs just keeps getting bigger? Brie says they love it, but yes, it feels like you’re in a shark tank and everyone wants a piece of you. Fatal Influence, even Giulia & Kiana up next. This coming Monday, they defend the titles against Judgment Day. Paige says it has taken them years to get these bad boys, and they refuse to give them up so easily. But in step Irresistible Forces. Nia Jax says they’re rooting for the champs.
Paige & Brie doubt that, but Lash Legend says of course they want Paige & Brie to win. Same for Monday, too. Because then, Saturday Night’s Main Event, the Irresistible Forces get their rematch for the titles Paige & Brie stole. They don’t wanna beat anyone but these two and take back what is theirs. And also- The music interrupts, Brie says sorry, but there’s someone they have to beat. Brie & Paige head to the ring, will SmackDown be all about #ScreamMode?
The teams sort out and Brie starts against #MissManagement. The bell rings, the two circle, and the two tie up. Kiana SHOVES Brie down, then taunts her. Brie brushes that off, resets with Kiana, and they tie up. Kiana KNEES low, then whips Brie to the corner. Brie goes up, under, then BODY BLOWS! Brie clinches to RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Brie brings Kiana over, tags Paige, and the fans cheer as the champs double whip. Brie whips Paige in, but Kiana ELBOWS her away! Kiana goes up and over but Paige mule kicks Kiana, then Brie BULLDOGS! Paige KNEES Kiana down, then covers, TWO! Kiana toughs it out but Paige stays on her.
Kiana throat chops Paige, tag to the Beautiful Madness! Giulia suplexes, Paige fights free, but Giulia kicks and kicks and fires hands in the corner! The ref counts, Giulia backs off, but then Giulia jukes the ref to ROCK Paige! Giulia reels Paige in, snap suplex! Cover, TWO! Paige toughs it out but Giulia stays on her. Giulia whips, Paige ducks ‘n’ dodges, then she slips around to mule kick! Paige snapmares Giulia, runs again, and basement DROPKICKS! The fans cheer and Paige fires up, ‘This is MY house!” Paige storms over to Giulia, goes to the apron, and brings her through ropes to KNEE again and again and again!
Paige glares at Kiana, shoves Giulia in, but Kiana then YANKS Paige down! The fans boo but Giulia hurries to POST Paige! Giulia & Kiana are on the same page beating up on Paige, and SmackDown goes to break.
SmackDown returns as Giulia hoists Paige up top. Giulia then positions Paige just right, SMACKS her, then climbs up after her. Paige fires body shots in return, then HEADBUTTS! Paige SMACKS Giulia off buckles, then goes up, up, and SUPER SUNSET FLIP POWERBOMBS! Both women are down and the fans fire up again! Paige and Giulia crawl, reach out, hot tag to Kiana! But then Paige dodges, hot tag to Brie! Brie goes up, up, and MISSILE DROPKICKS! Kiana flounders, Giulia is back, but Brie dodges to KNEE low! Brie fires KNEE after KNEE, then sits Giulia down. “BRIE MODE~!” KNEE for Kiana! KNEE for Giulia!
Brie hits another KNEE on Kiana, then the fans join in on “YES! YES! YES!” Brie fires off Yes Kicks back and forth between her opponents! But Kiana ducks the buzzsaw! Kiana fireman’s carries, Brie slips free to kick and BELLA BUSTER! Cover, Giulia breaks it! Brie TOSSES Giulia out for it, then ROCKS Kiana! And ROCKS her again! Brie whips, Kiana KICKS back, Giulia tags in! Brie dodges Kiana, ROCKS Giulia, but the CODE BREAKER leads to the NORTHERN LIGHTS BOMB!! Cover, Paige breaks it! Kiana kicks and TOSSES Paige, then tags back in. Giulia & Kiana drag Brie up, bring her around, but Paige is back already!
Kiana dodges, but that lets Paige TACKLE Giulia out of the ring! And Brie rolls up Kiana! TWO, and Kiana SUPERKICKS Brie! Then STANDING MOONSAULT but onto knees! Brie turns thigs back around, CRAVAT SMASH and Paige is in! RAMPAIGE DDT!! Cover, Paige & Brie win!
Winners: Brie Bella & Paige, by pinfall
Giulia & Kiana came in with a game plan, but the champs pull through! But will Paige & Brie still be champions after Monday Night Raw? Or will Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez bring these belts back to Judgment Day?
Backstage interview with Tiffany Stratton.
Cathy is now with the Women’s United States Champion and says there are an abundance of alliances in the women’s division today. As a singles competitor, where does Tiff see herself fitting into it? Tiff says if she had to guess, she’d be like, “What is-” Wait, Giulia and Kiana shouting kinda distracts her. Well, if those are the kinds of teams Tiff has to go up against, she’ll be just fine. Unlike them, Tiff is just fine on her own. If they wanna play the numbers game, then- Now Chelsea Green steps in. The Hot Mess says she’s been looking for Tiff. And Tiff says yeah, just the person she was looking for, too. Because Tiff was just saying she doesn’t like being partnered up.
Oh, Tiff is talking about Giulia & Kiana, right? Chelsea says yeah, that is so embarrassing. But they’ve been bickering ever since Tiff, the second greatest Women’s US Champion, beat both of them. Tiff says yes, but sometimes some people just aren’t meant to be in a team. And some are just oblivious to that fact. Chelsea says Tiff is so right. That’d never be them! Right, because they’re not meant to be a team. Tiff leaves, Chelsea processes, and Chelsea says that’s just so them. She’s so funny… Chelsea does her best to brush that off, but will she have to accept Tiffy has no time for team-ups?
Cody Rhodes is here!
Columbia sings along with Kingdom as The American Nightmare makes his entrance, “WHOA~ OH~!” Cody gets his pyro, he has the Undisputed WWE Championship with him, but also a contract folder. Three guesses as to what it’s for. Cody gets his second “WHOA~ OH~!” and pyro, but he’s busy getting himself some armchairs and a table! The fans cheer as Cody is willing to put in the work to set up his own contract signing! Cody puts the chairs in place, then sets the contract and belt on the table! The fans cheer, and Cody grabs a mic. “Columbia, South Carolina! Whaddya wanna talk about?
“I have all of the formal ingredients for a contract signing! That’s what we got here: a contract for Gunther to come to SmackDown; a contract for a WWE Championship match at Clash in Italy; and that’s what we’re gonna do, folks, right here, right now!” The fans cheer that, and here comes Gunther! Gunther tells Cody, “Do you know how much time and work it took to set up that deal? Do you know how much strategic planning, how much foresight, how much negotiation went into all of this? I mean, we’re talking the roster transfer of the best wrestler in the WWE! And still, and still, you find a way to make it all about yourself. Just like a typical American!”
The fans boo Gunther, but he says he shouldn’t be surprised. He sees it on Cody’s neck every week! When the attention is not on Cody, Cody cries, complains, and finds a way to make it about himself. But not with Gunther! This is Gunther’s deal, this is his title match, and that will be HIS title. So, golden boy, all Gunther needs Cody to do is be professional, address him nicely, and don’t forget to say, “Please.” It’s very simple. Cody repeats back, “Simple? Simple.” Let’s not forget that Gunther is the one who got the drop on Cody, who got Heyman to do him this favor to get the title shot he didn’t even earn, and then Gunther wouldn’t sign in Jacksonville!
And now, Gunther’s basically saying he’s not signing here in Columbia, either! And yes, Cody is the one with a US flag tattoo on his neck, but GUNTHER is the one who is making this weird. So here’s the thing, Cody is making it simple: This is the contract here, in this ring, and he has to come in here to sign it. If Gunther wants Cody to say please, then PLEASE, come to the ring, sign the contract, so that he’s guaranteed to get his ass kicked in Italy! The fans cheer that! Gunther says okay, Cody. He noticed the “please” but Cody didn’t mean it. So Gunther will help Cody rephrase this: Please, Mr. Gunther- WAIT, Royce Keys is here?!
The fans cheer as The Powerhouse steps out on stage, then smirks as he looks at Gunther. “If you won’t sign it, I will!” Royce pushes Gunther aside, goes to the ring, and he looks at the contract. Cody nods and says okay, fair enough. Skip the SmackDown contract, go to the title match. But then Gunther storms in and snatches the pen! Gunther argues with Royce, Royce takes the pen back, but Gunther takes it back again! Royce and Gunther get forehead to forehead and Royce dares Gunther to sign it then! Royce SHOVES Gunther, and Aldis says whoa, this is quite the situation developing here.
But Gunther is right, this whole process was very simple. That is a contract for the title shot at Clash in Italy. It’s supposed to have Gunther’s name on it. But Gunther has yet to sign it, so as far as Aldis is concerned, Gunther’s overplayed his hand and now the shot is up for grabs! So here’s what we’ll do: tonight, Gunther VS Royce Keys, and the winner gets to sign on the dotted line to face Cody for the title! The fans fire up for that! Gunther is furious but this is on him. Cody tells Royce he is proud of him, they’re good friends. But Cody will tell Royce like he is telling Gunther, Cody is easy to find, hard to beat. Royce stares Cody down, but will they meet in Turin, Italy?
MFT watches this from backstage.
Solo Sikoa did not expect that. But listen, the tag titles can wait. They understand the assignment? Tama, do you understand the assignment? Tama nods and Solo says good. R-Truth isn’t cleared to compete tonight, but Priest is still waling. Tama is gonna take him out tonight. And Talla, let’s go talk with Royce. Talla follows Solo as he steps out, and in steps Shinsuke Nakamura. He tells Tama that Nakamura knows Tama’s decision. But then Talla CLOBBERS Nakamura! Talla THROWS Nakamura into road cases, and he says he warned Nakamura! CHOKE SLAM down through a table! Refs and producers rush in, but the damage is done.
Talla leaves Nakamura behind. Did he just take the King of Strong Style off the board? Or will this only bring the wrath of Strong Style down on his head?
Gunther argues with Aldis backstage.
Aldis points out that they had a deal, Gunther didn’t go along with it! He’s the one being unprofessional and going back on his word. That much of Heyman must’ve rubbed off on Gunther, but here’s what he forgot to tell Gunther: Don’t play games with Aldis! As far as Aldis is concerned, Gunther now has to earn his shot! Gunther says Aldis should be thankful he’s even here! Gunther is furious, but he should be blaming himself. Will he now lose his golden opportunity? Or can he topple the Powerhouse before it’s too late?
Carmelo Hayes VS Ricky Saints!
The chase for the US Championship is on, and Melo wants to prove this division is still about workhorses, not show horses! But will he have to show Saints that directly? Or will this be an Absolute victory in Columbia?
The bell rings and Saints fires off on Melo in a corner! Saints CHOPS, then he CHOPS again. Melo pushes Saints, Saints kicks low and CLUBS him! Saints whips, Melo reverses, then drops down to hurdle over. Melo arm-drags Saints, but Saints arm-drags back! Saints avoids the arm-drag, but Melo dodges the dropkick! Melo misses a kick, but he ROCKS Saints to DROPKICK after all! The fans cheer, and Melo stalks Saints to a corner. Melo stands Saints up, CHOPS him, then CHOPS again! Melo brings Saints around, bumps him off buckles, then CHOPS again! The fans cheer but the ref counts, and Melo brings Saints around.

R-Truth talks with Royce Keys.
Truth tells Royce that he knows he’s getting ready for the biggest match of his career, but Truth wants to thank Royce. And damn, he big. But thanks for helping out with MFT. They’re building a new clubhouse for the New Judgment Day, Royce can fill out an application and Truth will make sure to approve him. Clubhouse? Is Royce gonna be stealing boxes on his day off? Well, Royce will think about it. Royce heads out, Truth says yeah, think about it, dawg. Then Priest walks in and asks what that was about. Truth says Royce can join the Judgment Day 2000, dawg! Uh, Priest isn’t even gonna touch what Truth just said.
But what Priest wants to know is what’s up with Royce. As Priest sees it, Solo has MFT taking everybody out. They took Priest out, they took Truth out, and they even took out Shinsuke. But when Royce is around, he’s not touched. Now, Royce may have Truth’s trust, but not Priest’s. Priest just wants Truth to be careful. Truth says fair enough. And he apologizes for last week, because Priest was right; Truth goes out there, MFT used him to get to Priest. It won’t happen again. Well it won’t happen tonight, because Truth isn’t even medically cleared. Whatever happens happens, but at least Priest knows Truth will be safe.
Priest heads out, Truth says he loves Priest! Will the Archer of Infamy be able to shoot down The Good Bad Guy? Or will Solo’s Right Hand Man get the upper hand here tonight?

Wait, is the machine still active? Danhausen says yes, something bigger, better, larger! Danhausen’s life’s work! Wait, is Danhausen doing a Frankenstein!? Danhausen taps on his computer, some sparks fly, but that seems to be a good thing. Just what is he going to cook up next?

Sami Zayn vents to someone.
Aldis calling Sami entitled, for simply asking for a rematch. As if everything Sami has done for this place isn’t enough. He swears, things are changing around here, it is not what it used to be. Y’know who feels it the most? Guys like us. Johnny Gargano is still depressed planking. Sami says remember when wrestling was a thing. When being great at this, giving your all, the fans would always be on your side! You were guaranteed to rise, because cream always rises to the top! Remember when that mattered? Candice LeRae stops Sami here. This is not working. If we’re talking entitled, Candice is entitled to a husband who doesn’t just lie around all day!
But whatever! Candice storms off, Sami says home must be a mess. But don’t listen to that. Don’t listen to the noise. Tune it out. You gotta remember who you are, and whatever you do, don’t let anyone take that from you. Ever! Sami leaves Gargano to his stupor, but then Gargano’s eyes look his way. Is what Sami said getting through to Johnny Wrestling?
Blake Monroe speaks.
“I’m not your hero, I’m The Glamour. The starlet on the marquee, the champagne soaked Cinderella of WWE. And to every woman in that locker room, you’ll see the difference between me and you.”
Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss VS B-Fab & Mia Yim w/ Jade Cargill!
Whether it’s the tag titles or THE title, The Queen & Lil’ Miss Bliss want to get back on top. However, the same can be said about The Storm and her Baddies. Will Fab & Michin remove the obstacles on their path so that they and Jade can take it all? Or will #Charlexa prove they’re more than ready for another opportunity?
But before the match, Jade grabs a mic and tells everyone to wrap it up. “Everybody acts so tough when Jade Cargill ain’t in the building. But when my music hits, everybody seems to get real quiet. You see, Rhea Ripley found that out last week. Pressure busts pipes. And at Clash in Italy, I bust champions, too. The WWE Women’s Championship is coming home with me.” The fans boo and Jade says she loves it. Y’all know why! Because Jade’s #That- WAIT, Charlotte’s entrance interrupts that catchphrase! The fans cheer as Charlotte is then joined by Alexa, and they have mics now. “They don’t wanna hear you talk, babe.” “Cuz this is Flair Country, right?” The fans cheer and “WOO~!”
So here’s the thing, they’ve been doing this dance for a few years now. And last week, Jade finally pissed Charlotte off. So let’s play. Oh, look! The back-up dancers! Where’s Rhea? Funny how someone can talk so loud yet get so quiet when they get pump-kicked in the face. Wow, funny stuff. Aren’t Jade’s back-up dancers supposed to be making Jade look good? What’s going on here? Ow, that was mean, Blisster. But seems they’re here to do Jade’s dirty work. And since they have a match, Charlotte knows Columbia is tired of hearing Jade talk. She knows Charlexa are tired of hearing her talk, and even Jade’s girls are tired of hearing her talk!
So maybe Jade should just take a seat and take some notes. WOO~! Jade says right, okay, well, let’s get the ref out here and let’s take some notes. And please, entertain Jade, because she’s the one getting bored. The match is finally set to begin, but who will win? We’ll see, after the break.

Charlotte staggers up, Mia SPIN KICKS Charlotte down! Mia drags Charlotte up, runs the ropes, but Charlotte avoids the dropkick! Charlotte headscissors to THROW Mia around again and again! Charlotte then kips up and the fans fire up!

The fans cheer as Alexa dodges Fab to drop toehold, then she SMACKs, ROCKS, KNEES, and SHOTGUNS Fab down! The fans cheer, Alexa KNEES Fab in the back and against the ropes! Charlotte just CHOPS and CHOPS and CHOPS, then she runs to LARIAT Fab down! The fans cheer Charlotte, she talks trash on Jade, and she scoops Fab for the EXPLODER! Then a kick to Mia, for an EXPLODER! Charlotte kips up, tells Jade to “SUCK IT!” again, then flexes as she steps on Fab. Charlotte goes up, up, but Jade distracts her! Fab YANKS Charlotte down! Fab BOOTS Charlotte to the corner, tags Mia, and Mia goes up! MISSILE DROPKICK! Mia hurries to drag Charlotte back over, tags Fab back in, and The Baddies DOUBLE BOOT! High stack, Bliss breaks it! The elbow drop misses, and Charltote LARIATS Mia up and out! Fab waistlocks, Charltote switches, but Fab elbows free! Alexa tags in, Fab wrenches to HOOK KICK Charlotte! Jade didn’t want her team losing so she goes and hands Charlexa the win instead! Mia drags Charlotte up, but Charlotte CHUCKS Mia over the desk! And then she BOOTS Fab outta the ring! Now it’s just Queen and B1tch! Jade stands down, so Charlotte goes to check on Alexa. When and where will these two alpha females finally fight it out?
Fatal Influence watches this backstage.
Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid are not exactly impressed, but Cathy Kelley steps in for a quick interview. Ever since these three arrived on SmackDown, they’ve made quite the impact. Did the rest of the locker room expect them to be this impactful this quickly? Fallon says in this business, you’re either predator or prey. And let’s be honest, they’re at the top of the food chain. Plus, all these so-called teams act like best friends, but The Influence knows that deep down, no one can stand each other. As for The Influence, it is the complete opposite. They’re a unit, loyalty is their currency. And soon enough, it will pay dividends when they’re draped in gold.
As for the rest of the locker room, take this as a warning: It is only a matter of time before you fall at their feet! The Influence heads out, will SmackDown soon be completely under their control?
Charlotte & Alexa regroup backstage.
Last week, Charlotte tolerated Rhea, and she is really working hard on being a team player. Where is Rhea this week? Alexa gets that, but they’re still outnumbered. Fatal Influence, Irresistible Forces, The Baddies. Charlotte says they’ve been outnumbered for like six months! Alexa says they need help. Charlotte thinks on how to put this. Does she look like an “I need help” kind of person? She doesn’t think so. Alexa says no, she isn’t, but they are outnumbered, and Rhea still owes them. Alexa has an idea, just trust her. Well, Alexa’s gotten Charlotte this far. The Queen follows Alexa’s lead, but just what is the plan?
Solo finds Royce preparing backstage.
Solo claps and says, “Aight. Aight. Yeah, big match tonight, huh? Big match tonight against Gunther. Now listen, I can help you beat Gunther. Hmm? I can help you become champion. How does that sound? I know you like that, right? But look, don’t listen to Jacob, okay? Listen to me, follow me. Me and you can be running SmackDown and taking over everything. Because I hate to see whatever happened to Shinsuke happen to you.” Royce puts down the resistance band and tells Solo that he’s got this, aight? Aight. But spoilers, Jacob said the same thing. Solo leaves, Royce scowls, but will Royce prove to everyone that he has the keys to success all on his own?
Undisputed WWE Championship #1 Contender’s Match: GUNTHER VS Royce Keys!

Solo tried to help Royce, but their, uh, difference of opinion, just cost Royce. Will Solo have to apologize profusely to the Powerhouse? Meanwhile, Gunther has the shot at Cody he wanted, and he tells Cody that there is nothing he can do about what’s coming for him in Italy! But while Gunther has tunnel vision with the camera, Cody slides in! CROSS RHODES!! The fans cheer the champ, and Cody “welcomes” Gunther to SmackDown! Will the American Nightmare survive the Austrian Anomaly when they Clash in Italy?
My Thoughts:
A great SmackDown to pivot from Backlash and head for Clash In Italy. While it was pretty clear we were getting Cody VS Gunther, I really like how they made it official here. Cody making his own contract signing segment was great, and Royce getting involved was really good. There have been a handful of occasions where someone found an opening to hijack a contract signing, and then that main event match was awesome. I also liked how Solo was almost a Face here, supporting Royce in fighting Gunther. But because Solo is still Heel, he insisted on cheating to win, and that screwed Royce up.
Depending on how badly Truth is hurt, if he’s really hurt to begin with, I feel like we need a Six Man Tag of Priest, Royce, and Nakamura VS MFT, and that is the moment Tama breaks away from Solo. As such, that was a really good match from Priest VS Tama, good win for Priest, but of course MFT beats him up with Truth is unable to even go ringside, and Nakamura was already taken out by Talla beforehand. Meanwhile, it sounds like we’re getting more Six Woman Tags while sorting out contenders for Rhea’s title. Jade lets #Charlexa win just so she could do some damage, but clearly Rhea will help out again so settle things with The Baddies.
Very good promo from Brie & Paige with Nia & Lash before that very good tag match. Obviously Giulia and Kiana are falling apart at the seams, but it was also good stuff to have them cameo in Tiffany’s promo with Chelsea. Maybe teams wouldn’t need to break up and others form if TKO & WWE didn’t cut some legit talent that could’ve been in the tag division, but corporate greed can never be defeated. But if nothing else, Tiff will surely face Chelsea, Giulia, and Kiana for the US Championship, probably in a Fatal 4 Way of some kind.
Speaking of US Championships, great stuff for Trick in his homecoming. Miz & Kit stepping up was good stuff because it let Yachty show off his own skills, and then Trick gets a great win in front of his hometown crowd. Melo VS Saints was awesome, too, great win for Melo. A Trick VS Melo feud would be great stuff, but also feels like SummerSlam level stuff, so there need to be some feuds to hold them over until then, and if we get more of Trick VS Miz, more of Melo VS Saints, mixing and matching while getting others in the conversation, that’d be great stuff. Night of Champions could even be an opening for a Fatal 4 Way of their own.
And Sami continues to do great things with his anti-Face, anti-Heel character work. He tries to show his good side when asking nicely, but his bad side comes out pretty quickly after he doesn’t get his way. Him talking to Gargano is great, too, and it feels like they’re using this to snap Gargano out of his funk, too. And if this doesn’t lead back to the US title, I could see this work leading Sami to the top title in time for a SummerSlam match.
My Score: 8.8/10
