New Japan Pro-Wrestling announced in early May that Oleg Boltin suffered an elbow injury and would be sidelined with a return date to be determined. The injury forced the rising star out of action as NJPW and fans awaited further updates on his recovery timeline.
Boltin took to X to reveal he has undergone surgery for the injury and thanked the medical team and those who supported him through the process. The surgery was reported successful, but no definitive timetable for his return to the ring has been announced.
