AEW mourns the loss of Ted Turner.

To remember the man who helped bring WCW to TNT, Tony Schiavone introduces the Icon of WCW, Sting! The fans cheer, and Sting hugs it out with Schiavone. Schiavone says here we are again. They both knew Ted Turner very, very well. He was a big part of their 40 year legacy, with a lot of memories of him, and surely Sting wants to share some. Sting takes the mic to say, “Can you imagine having an all-in billionaire who absolutely loved pro-wrestling? I’m talking about Ted. Big Ted. Big Ted, haha, yes. I can’t believe what he did for us. He was completely committed to us, devoted to us in every conceivable way.

“So much so, that when some of the top brass up there in CNN Towers would have their meetings with Ted, they’d say, ‘Ted, we don’t know about this pro-wrestling thing, it’s time to cut ’em off cuz we’re always in the red.'” The fans boo that notion, but Sting says Ted told the roster, “You wrestlers just keep on doing what you’re doing cuz I’ve got some deep pockets.” The fans cheer that! Sting says that’s shoot, that’s what Ted said. #ThankYouTed. And y’know, there wouldn’t be a TNT Championship, there wouldn’t be a Sting, a Darby Allin, a Tony Schiavone, or anyone else here tonight, so again, thank you, Big Ted.

The fans cheer, and Schiavone says speaking of Darby, he defends the AEW World Championship against the Turner Network Television Champion, Kevin Knight. What a match to have in memory of Ted tonight. Sting says that’s right. First of all, Sting & Darby took a blowtorch to AEW for three and a half years, and it felt great every single time! The fans cheer as Sting says it is great to be back in South Carolina! And it is great to know that Darby will wrestle for the world title tonight. The greatest tag partner Sting ever had! And Sting is also very thankful and grateful for a second all-in billionaire who wants to keep the ball rolling with AEW, and he’s talking about Tony Khan! Thank you, TK!

The fans cheer again, and Schiavone says that when you see the TNT Championship and TBS Championship belts, notice the side plates will have replicas of the studios from Techwood Drive, where it all started with the Turner Techwood Mansions. Tony Khan wanted those in honor of their past. Now, for his family, his friends, and all the lives he’s touched, tonight’s three hour block is now in memory of the maverick, Ted Turner. The crowd honors a moment of silence with ten rings of the bell, and then one more cheer of #ThankYouTed.

AEW Continental Championship Eliminator: Jon Moxley VS Juice Robinson!

The Death Riders have their hands in many pots, from trying to grab momentum in the tag and trios divisions to rebuilding Will Ospreay from the ground up. But with that, the Bang Bang Gang scored a win off Wheeler Yuta & Daniel Garcia last Saturday, and Rock Hard Robinson is calling out The Maniac! Will this Stray Bullet hit the bull’s eye? Or will Moxley keep his Continental Championship card clear?

The bell rings and the fans fire up as these two go forehead to forehead. They have twenty minutes to settle this, and North Charleston is fired up for Moxley as he fires a forearm. Juice fires back, they go back and forth, forearm for forearm! Moxley ROCKS Juice, Juice ROCKS Mox! Mox RAMS Juice, Juice RAMS back, and repeat! They go back and forth with shoulder block after shoulder block, then they get forehead to forehead again. Moxley KNEES low, then CHOPS! The fans “WOO~” as the Carolinas know all about chops. Moxley whips but Juice ducks ‘n’ dodges to LEAPING LARIAT! The fans fire up for Juice as he storms up on Moxley.

Juice CHOPS Moxley, stalks him to a corner, and CHOPS again! Moxley goes to another corner but Juice fires up! The fans are with Juice as he HEADBUTTS Moxley, then CHOPS again! Juice whips corner to corner, then runs up, but into a BOOT! Moxley storms up, reels Juice in, but Juice trips Moxley! Juice turns things around to then CATAPULT Moxley up and out! Moxley tumbles, but Juice then CANNONBALLS! Down goes Moxley and the fans fire up with Juice! Juice snarls as he stalks Moxley, fans say Guns Up, and Juice puts Moxley in the ring. The fans cheer Juice on as he slides in, but Moxley stomps fingers!

The fans rally and duel now as Moxley drags Juice up. Moxley bends Juice’s fingers, twists the wrist, then SNAPS fingers! Juice clutches his hand but Moxley KICKS him in the back. Moxley CHOPS Juice in the corner, then talks some trash before he swings. Juice dodges to CHOP! And JAB! JAB! JAB! “JUICE! JUICE! JUICE!” Juice pumps up, but Moxley bails out! Juice pursues to spin and THROW Moxley over barriers! Moxley tumbles around in the timekeeper’s area but Juice climbs up! The fans fire up as Juice leaps to DOUBLE AX HANDLE! The fans cheer as Juice pursues Moxley back to the ring.

Moxley goes to a corner and wants a moment to steady himself, but Juice climbs up to rain down fists! The fans count along, Juice goes to TEN, then BITES Moxley’s forehead! The fans cheer but the ref reprimands. Juice SPITS the taste out, then CROSSBODIES! Juice rains down fast hands, then fires up again. Moxley bails out while Juice huffs ‘n’ puffs, and Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Moxley hobbles around but Juice pursues. Moxley sits in a corner, but he kicks Juice low! Moxley then brings Juice around to whip, but Juice reverses, sending Moxley into the steel steps! Moxley writhes, the ref reprimands, but Juice asks the ref be patient. Juice puts Moxley in the ring, but Moxley runs to BOOT Juice down! Juice hits the steel steps on the way down! Moxley smirks while Juice is down, then Moxley flexes as he soaks up cheers and jeers. Moxley swaggers while he waits on Juice, but the ring count is climbing. Juice stirs at 5 of 10, sits up at 7, then rolls in! Juice flips Moxley off, but Moxley bends that finger!

Moxley makes Juice suffer as he twists the wrist, then BITES the fingers! The ref reprimands, Moxley “apologizes,” then he twists the wrist again. Moxley lets Juice go and Juice goes to a corner to check on his hand. Moxley runs up to LARIAT! Moxley brings Juice in for a snap suplex! Cover, TWO! Dynamite returns to single picture and Moxley stays on Juice with another wristlock. Juice endures again while the fans rally up. Moxley bends the fingers again, tortures Juice’s arm, but the fans rally up. Juice fights around but Moxley kicks him low. Moxley winds up to fire body shots from all sides, but stops as the ref counts.

Moxley grinds his forearm into Juice, then runs corner to corner, but into a LEG LARIAT! Juice falls but can’t make the cover! The fans rally again as Juice rises, and Juice manages to JAB! CHOP! JAB! CHOP! The fans chant “JUICE! WOO~!” again and again as Juice JABS and CHOPS in the corner! Juice whips corner to corner, then runs up to LARIAT! Moxley slumps down but Juice keeps moving, CANNON- NO, Moxley is up! Juice ducks the lariat, but Moxley blocks Juice’s, for a CUTTER! Moxley waits on Juice, daring him to get up. The fans rally as Juice sputters and rises slowly. Moxley brings Juice around to put him in a corner.

Moxley climbs up, and he rains down fists! The fans count along, and Moxley goes to nine, then flexes, only for Juice to FALLING POWERBOMB! Both men are down again, and Moxley flounders to a corner. CANNONBALL! We hit the ten minute halfway mark and Juice hoists Moxley up. Juice climbs to SUPER STEINER! Then a LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Moxley is tougher than that, and the fans are dueling as Juice shakes out the bad hand. Juice drags Moxley up, full nelsons, but Moxley breaks that to switch and spin Juice. Moxley lifts, but Juice fights! Juice BACKDROPS, Moxley sunsets, but Juice sits down on the cover! TWO!

Moxley runs up, but into the full nelson and SLAM! The fans fire up again as Juice powers up. Juice spits on his left hand and winds up! JAB! JAB! JAB! LEFT HAND- NO, Moxley BITES Juice’s forehead! Moxley flips Juice off, runs, but into the LEFT HAND O’ GOD! Moxley falls, Juice climbs, and Juice aims as Moxley stands! CROSSBODY! Cover, TWO! Moxley survives again and the fans fire up! The fans duel as hard as they can while Juice and Moxley are forehead to forehead. Juice HEADBUTTS! Moxley HEADBUTTS! And repeat! Moxley wobbles but he ROCKS Juice! Juice ROCKS Moxley! Now they go forearm for forearm again!

The fans rally as the shots keep going, and Moxley JABS! BODY BLOWS! FOREARMS! KNEES! Juice goes to a corner, Moxley runs up, but Juice dodges! Moxley POSTS himself, Juice rolls him up with a bridge, TWO!! Moxley escapes but Juice reels Moxley in! THE JUICE- NO, Moxley slips loose and has the SLEEPER! Then the BULLY CHOKE!! Juice reaches out, fights around, and he powers up to his feet!

Moxley keeps Juice from ropes, and hits a takeover! “This is Awesome!” but Juice is fading! He’s red, he’s OUT! Moxley wins!

Winner: Jon Moxley, by submission (denies Juice Robinson a title opportunity)

Juice pushed the time limit, but Moxley found a way to squeeze every bit out of Juice first. Will anyone take this title from Moxley at the rate he’s going?

The Death Riders continue their training.

As Wheeler Yuta uses Will Ospreay as a board for his deep ab crunches, which also tests Ospreay’s neck, Daniel Garcia says, “You just got off a 15 hour flight, you won titles with your petty little dramatic friends in Japan, we do not care. It’s us against the world. And if you wanna be the best version of yourself, you’re gonna have to work for it. C’mon, let’s get it! C’mon, c’mon, c’mon!” Ospreay keeps his head up, even as Yuta leans all the way back. Also, we see Marina training her kicks against Moxley’s abs. Ospreay powers through and Claudio calls time. Yuta steps off and Moxley kneels beside Ospreay. Both men laugh off the burning in their bodies.

Moxley says good, cool. Has Ospreay ever heard of the concept, “Death Ground?” Ospreay has not. Moxley says it is ground you cannot leave, from which there is no escape. There are no other options but to do or die. That is where Ospreay is right now. If we don’t get that neck right, if we don’t get that mind right, it’s over, Ospreay is done. Sure, Ospreay would still have his career in AEW, get paid to hang out like the rest of these posers. But that’s not what Ospreay wants. H e’s not like the rest of them. He is different. It is a privilege to be where you are, this far all the way up the mountain, where all he has left is that 1%.

This is the hardest 1% to climb. You’re on death ground now. It’ll be hard. But it’s the only good option. Nothing else exists but what is right in front of him. Every minute, every second. Now, on your back. Ospreay nods, and Marina is there with the towel. Pac says enough of you, cameraman. The camera shuts off as Marina works on Ospreay’s neck. Will the Death Riders truly rebuild Ospreay as a tougher, stronger, meaner Aerial Assassin?

Double Jeopardy: Orange Cassidy VS Dax Harwood!

While Adam Copeland & Christian Cage are putting their tag team career on the line at Double or Nothing, the Conglomeration and FTR are willing to gamble with each other. Freshly Squeezed is fighting for his own shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championships, will he be leaving North Charleston with those golden tickets? Or will Dax the Ax earn himself, Cash Wheeler & Tommaso Ciampa a shot at the AEW World Trios Championships?

Well as if they aren’t obnoxious enough, FTR is mocking the Conglomeration by having #BigStoke dress up as Orange Cassidy, and then they’re being accompanied by Roppongi Vice, aka former friends of Orange Cassidy’s, and… The Dogs? Why’re Finlay & Connors hanging around these guys when they’re also supposed to team with The Death Riders later tonight? Finally, Cassidy makes his entrance, with Roddy & Kyle accompanying him. But wait, they have reinforcements, too, in the form of the Young Bucks AND Cope & Cage! The fans cheer as we might get a Rated R Superkick Party! Might as well call this a Lumberjack match for the heck of it!

The bell rings and the fans fire up as Cassidy puts his sunglasses away and circles with Dax. They feel things out, tie up, and Dax headlocks. Cassidy powers up and out, but Dax RUNS him over! Cover, ONE! Dax RUNS Cassidy over again, ONE! Cassidy drops down, hurdles over, but Dax counters hip toss with hip toss! Dax hurries but Cassidy UP KICKS him away! Dax scoops to SLAM, but Cassidy UP KCIKS again! Dax headlocks. Cassidy powers up and out to then headlock takeover! The fans cheer as Cassidy rubs Dax’s bald head! Cassidy pushes to a cover, ONE, and Dax fights up. Dax powers up but he pulls hair to put Cassidy in a corner.

The ref counts, Dax says he’s off. Cassidy blocks the chop! And blocks another! Dax gets in Cassidy’s face, but Cassidy puts his hands up. Dax pushes the ref aside, but the ORANGE PUNCH outta nowhere! Dax bails out, his entire crew is there, but Cassidy slides out. Cassidy has his punch at the ready, and his crew steps up to stare down with the rest. Cassidy runs up on Dax, but Dax sends him into the POST! Dax drags Cassidy up, puts him in, and he SLAMS Cassidy’s bad arm against the post! Dax slides, argues with the ref, and Stokely SLAMS Cassidy’s arm into post! The fans boo but even Ciampa gets a turn as Dynamite goes picture in picture!

Cassidy writhes but Stoke soaks up the heat. Cope & Cage storm over, Stoke hides behind literally everyone else, and they coach Cassidy on. Cassidy clutches his arm but Dax drags him up. Dax CHOPS Cassidy in the corner, then watches him flop down. Dax stomps the bad hand and Cassidy scrambles around. Cassidy bails out, Dax pursues, and Dax sends Cassidy back into the ring. Dax whips Cassidy to the corner, wraps the bad arm around ropes and pulls! The ref counts, Dax CHOPS, and Cassidy flops down. Dax drags Cassidy up to TOSS him out, but the ref makes sure everyone stays back. Dax distracts the ref, that lets Ciampa get a shot in!

Cassidy’s crew protests, but Stoke still gets a shot in, too. The ref tells everybody to back off, this isn’t a real lumberjack match! Cassidy rolls into the ring, Dax brings him up, and Dax shoves, only for Cassidy to KICK! Cash gets on the apron, that makes the ref miss Cassidy’s cradle! The ref is late to the count, TWO! Dax LARIATS Cassidy down! Dax stalks Cassidy to ropes while Rocky soaks up heat for the team. Dax CHOKES Cassidy, but stops as the ref counts. Dax drags Cassidy up, brings him around, and CHOPS! Dax reels Cassidy in, puts him up top, then CHOPS again! Dax climbs up now, talks trash on the fans, then blows a kiss.

Dynamite returns to single picture as Dax CLAWS Cassidy’s face! The ref reprimands, but Cassidy fights the superplex with body shots! Cassidy fires forearms, Dax falls back, and Cassidy leaps! But into a BODY BLOW! Dax reels Cassidy in, but Cassidy fights the lift again. Cassidy wrenches but Dax CLUBS him! Dax whips, Cassidy goes up and out, then Cassidy SMACKS Dax off buckles! Cassidy goes up, up, and blocks an uppercut! Dax still returns to climb up after Cassidy, but Cassidy again fights the superplex! Cassidy fires more forearms, then BITES Dax’s head! The fans cheer as Cassidy then DECKS Dax! Dax staggers to his feet, into the DEEP IMPACT! Cover, TWO!

Dax survives but the fans rally up for Cassidy. Cassidy rises while Dax bails out. Dax’s crew checks on him, but Cassidy builds speed! Cassidy DIVES, but Dax denies the impact! Dax SMACKS Cassidy’s bad hand off the desk, then he ATOMIC SLAMS Cassidy on the desk! Cassidy writhes but Dax drags him up. Dax puts Cassidy in the ring, then mocks the hands up and hands in pockets. Dax “unleashes” kicks of his own, mocking Cassidy more and more. Cassidy puts his hands up, and then in his pockets! The fans cheer as now Cassidy ducks ‘n’ dodges to SHOTGUN! Cassidy kips up, tilt-o-whirls, and DDTS! The fans cheer as Cassidy rises again!

Cassidy shakes out the bad hand, but Stokely gets on the apron. The fans boo Stoke as he talks trash, but then he runs away as Cassidy steps closer. Dax CHOPS, JABS, and LARIATS Cassidy down! Dax then suplexes, but Cassidy slips free! O’Conner Roll, TWO! Cassidy runs into a FOREARM from Finlay! Dax rolls Cassidy up, TWO!! Cassidy survives, and now it’s on! The ref has to hurry to stop the crews from fighting, but Dax uses the chaos to grab the ring bell! Dax slides into the ring, but the ref spots that! The ref snatches the bell, Cassidy snatches Dax! Dax sunset flips through, but Cassidy rolls through to PENALTY KICK!

The fans fire up as the elbow pad comes off! Cassidy aims, ORANGE- NO, Dax gets under, shoves, then dodges the punch to reel Cassidy in! SLINGSHOT- NO, Cassidy grabs ropes, then BOOTS free! ORANGE- NO, Dax SWATS the hand! Pop-up and SLINGSHOT BOMB!! Cover, TWO?!?! No one can believe it but the fans are loving it! Dax and Cassidy slowly sit up, and Dax drags Cassidy up. Cassidy is a ragdoll so Dax lets him go. The ref checks Cassidy but Cassidy is still conscious. Dax suplexes, but into a STUN-DOG MILLIONAIRE! And then Cassidy loads up in the corner! ORANGE PUNCH!! Cover, TWO!!

Cassidy is stunned, but his bad hand held him back on that cover. Cassidy grits his teeth and clutches the hand, but Dax gets the ARMBAR! Cassidy scrambles around, even as Dax stomps his face! Cassidy fights around, rolls, and he stacks Dax! Dax kicks at Cassidy but Cassidy has the legs! CROSS LEG CRADLE! CASSIDY WINS!!

Winner: Orange Cassidy, by pinfall (The Conglomeration are NEW #1 Contenders to the AEW World Tag Team Championships)

But then all hell breaks loose as RPG Vice & Dogs storm the ring! Cope, Cage and The Bucks rush in there, too! The fans fire up as the brawl spills out of the ring! The Bucks, Conglomeration, and the team that reeks of awesomeness all control the ring, and they wait on RPG Vice! The fans cheer as Azucar & Trent realize the trouble they’re in. Rocky says they’re cool, right? That was all just business before! Cope says nope, and he pokes Rocky in the eyes! Feed to Kyle for a KNEE, then he and Roddy Ax ‘n’ SMASH! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS for #JustTrent! Then a SPEAR from Cope! The fans fire up as Cage wants one, too! LOW BLOW for Rocky!

The fans cheer as Cope helps Cassidy stand up, and they all celebrate! The Bucks & Bang Bang Gang will settle things with The Dogs later, which side wins that wild 10 Man Tag? As for Cassidy, what combination of The Conglomeration will look to take the #TopGuysOut?

Backstage interview with Chris Jericho.

Renee Paquette is with Y2J and thanks him for speaking with her given things didn’t go well the last time. How is he doing? Jericho says she is right, last time he said he was pretty pissed off. But after last week, he’s effin’ furious! But the time for talking is done! The time for words is over. Time to fight! Jericho says unlike The Demand, he doesn’t wanna fight backstage, so if he could, he’ll take this out to the people! Jericho borrows the mic and storms his way through the back of the crowd! “Alright, South Carolina! Hey! C’mon!” Jericho goes to ringside and fires the fans up more. They cheer “Y 2 J!” as he steps into the ring.

Jericho says he’ll keep this very simple, because this is North Charleston, this is AEW Dynamite, and he IS Jericho! And Jericho is done with beatdowns and blindsides and BS! So Ricochet, Jericho will ask- No, he’ll demand that Ricochet comes out here to talk to Jericho face to face, one on one, man to man, right here, right now! The fans cheer that! Jericho doesn’t have to wait long as Ricochet indeed makes his entrance. The One & Only is walking down the ramp alone at first, but then the Gates of Agony follow after him after all. The Demand goes to the ring, and Liona pushes past Jericho to fetch a mic for Ricochet.

Ricochet tells Jericho that he’s tried to do Jericho a favor by telling him to leave, and Jericho didn’t listen. The fans boo as Ricochet says all these simpletons must think it’s funny Jericho trademarked, “The Guy Who Gets His Ass Kicked By The Demand Every Week That He Shows Up.” Jericho says sorry, can’t hear a damn word you said! The fans cheer and boo even louder, and Ricochet says yeah, okay, maybe Jericho has a shame kink, but they can make that a reality here tonight, “in front of these overweight, mouth-breathing hillbillies right here in Charleston, North Carolina!” Now the fans boo cuz Ricochet can’t even remember north and south.

Ricochet says if he’s being honest, he’s kinda tired of this, kinda bored of this. So if they do this 1v1 again, what does The Demand get out of it? Kaun whispers an idea to Ricochet, and he says that’s actually not bad! Here’s one for you, Jericho. Six years ago, you created your own match, a match that happened at Double or Nothing. So this year, in a stadium that is proudly named after an American icon in Louie Armstrong, and Ricochet being an American icon himself, he will deal Jericho a losing record in his very own match. The fans tell Ricochet to shut up but he dares them to make him! Exactly! Sit down!

Ricochet goes back to Jericho to say this time, Ricochet won’t just beat Jericho with his own move, the Lionsault, now known as the Ricosault, but Ricochet will beat Jericho in a STADIUM STAMPEDE! The only problem is, Jericho had to pay people to watch his back! How’d that work out? Still couldn’t get the job done, huh? So Ricochet isn’t even sure Jericho can find partners for this match. Because here in AEW, Ricochet’s company, no one likes Jericho! The fans boo, but Jericho says first of all, you stupid SOB, this is SOUTH Carolina! The fans cheer that! Ricochet rolls his eyes, but Jericho says let’s get this right: Ricochet wants Stadium Stampede?!

The fans cheer for Stadium Stampede, and Jericho says Ricochet is on! He WILL find four partners, because surely someone here likes Jericho. And if he can’t, he’ll just take on all of them by himself! Bald! BONK!! Jericho knocks Ricochet down with the mic, then dodges Liona to SMACK Kaun! But Liona then grabs Jericho, whips him, but Jericho stops himself! Jericho DUMPS Liona out, then TOSSES Kaun! Ricochet is back, but gets a JUDAS EFFECT! The fans cheer as Jericho then lines it up, but Liona DECKS Jericho before he can Lionsasult! The Gates mug Jericho, but wait! The Hurt Syndicate rushes out here!

The fans cheer as Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin run The Demand off! Liona has to carry Ricochet away, but has Jericho found two of the four he needs? Who else will join the chaos that is Stadium Stampede?

Backstage interview with Harley Cameron & Mina Shirakawa.

Renee is with the Wild Aussie and Fighting Gravure Idol and says there are surely conflicting emotions going into their tag match with Hikaru Shida & Kris Statlander. But how are they feeling? Harley doesn’t know how to feel, but Mina says wake up! What Shida has done to Stat and them is not good! Can Harley trust Stat? Mina hopes so. But tonight, beyond friendship, beyond how they feel, they have a match to win! Harley, you are one of AEW’s first-ever Women’s Tag Team Champions! So, stop looking out there, and look in here! Mina RIPS Harley’s shirt open!? Mina apologizes for getting fired up, but Harley says she doesn’t care!

Harley tells Shida & Stat that the wrath is back! Harley finishes ripping her shirt away, and says tonight, you’re gonna feel it! Renee says this is gonna be one hell of a match! Now to get dressed… Harley & Mina hurry off, but will they hit #Shidalander with both barrels? Or will the Shining Samurai & Cosmic Killer continue to grow stronger as a duo?

AEW International Championship: Kazuchika Okada VS Bryan Keith!

With The Alpha defending his NJPW World Television Championship in Japan this past weekend, The Rainmaker will not be outdone by his “brother” in the Don Callis Family! But will Okada deny The Bounty Hunter is prize? Or is he about to get caught off guard in this trap game?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see if Okada is still going to Double or Nothing!

Callis of course joins commentary, and he says Okada is perhaps THE greatest wrestler of all time, so why wouldn’t he wanna be ringside for it? The bell rings and the two circle. Keith and Okada feel things out, tie up, and Okada slips around to waistlock. Keith headlocks, Okada pries the hold open, but Keith powers it on tighter. The fans rally as Okada powers up again, only for Keith to tighten the hold again. Okada powers Keith to ropes, the ref counts, and Keith lets Okada go. Okada feints the punch to pat Keith on the shoulders. But Keith ROCKS Okada! And ROCKS him again! Then CHOPS and ROCKS!

Keith whips but Okada blocks, so Keith CHOPS again! The fans are torn as Keith BOOTS Okada! Okada stays up, but Keith BOOTS him again! Okada drops to a knee, Keith runs up and he BOOTS Okada down! Cover, TWO! Keith is annoyed already but he’s always kinda upset. Keith CHOPS Okada, then snapmares for a KNEE DROP! Cover, TWO! Keith brings Okada up, wrenches, and HOOK KICKS Okada down! Keith stands Okada up, clinches, but Okada fights with elbows. Okada goes to a corner, Keith runs up, but Okada dodges! Okada puts Keith up top, to then DROPKICK Keith off the corner! Keith tumbles to apron then the floor!

The fans cheer while Okada goes out to fetch Keith. Okada stands Keith up, just to DDT him on the floor! Okada grins and the fans cheer again while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

The ref checks Keith but he is still in the match. Okada takes his time bringing Keith back up, but Keith COHPS! And CHOPS! Okada RAMS Keith into the corner! Okada refreshes the count, then brings Keith around to UPPERCUT him down! Keith falls at Callis’ feet while Okada rolls into the ring, and Callis stomps Keith while Okada distracts the ref! Callis gets away with his underhanded tactics, and Keith crawls to the ring. Lance Archer taunts Keith, but Okada puts Keith in the ring. Okada takes his time walking up to Keith, and Keith CHOPS again! Okada brushes that off, so Keith CHOSP again! Okada shakes his head, so Keith CHOPS again! Okada kicks low to DDT!

Keith sputters while Okada pushes him to a cover, TWO! Keith toughs it out, but Okada stalks him to the corner. Okada drags Keith up to ELBOW him in the corner! And ELBOW him again! And ELBOW him again! Okada backs off as the ref counts, but Keith ROCKS Okada! Okada KNEES low, whips Keith corner to corner, then runs up for another ELBOW! Okada snapmares Keith, then looms over him. Keith snarls as he sits up, but Okada brings him around as Dynamite returns to single picture. Okada scoops and SLAMS Keith, then goes to the corner. Standard formula says Okada goes up, and Keith knows it!

Keith gets under the leap, then comes back to clinch! Okada fights but Keith shifts to go for a takedown! Okada rolls through, but turns around into a KNEE! Both men are down but the fans fire up! Archer coaches Okada up but Keith snarls as he rises first. Keith roars, the fans cheer, and Keith runs up on Okada to ROCK him with a forearm! Okada staggers but Keith ROCKS him again! Keith ducks ‘n’ dodges to CLOBBER Okada! Keith whips, Okada reverses, but Keith turns the backdrop into a DDT! Cover, TWO! Okada survives and bails out of the ring. Keith pursues, and he storms around the way. Okada kicks low, but Keith slips around!

Okada switches, Keith spins around, DDT on the floor! Keith returns the favor on Okada and Okada is in a daze! Keith snarls, he drags Okada up, and he puts Okada in the ring. Keith vows to end this, and he clinches, only for Okada to fight the lift! Keith CLUBS Okada, then runs the ropes, but Okada blocks the boot to BOOT back! Alabama Lift, the tuck, REVERSE NECKBREAKER! The fans cheer as Okada drags Keith up. Okada scoops, SLAMS, and tries the standard formula again. Okada is up top, for the MACHO ELBOW! The fans cheer as Okada winds it up, Rainmaker MIDDLE FINGER! Okada then brings Keith up, only for Keith to fire elbows!

Keith runs, but into a DROPKICK from Okada! Okada then brings Keith up, ripcords, but Keith HEADBUTTS! Keith then hurries to underhook Okada, but Okada fights the lift! Okada slips through, ripcords, but Keith ducks the lariat! And he fakes out the dropkick! Okada crashes, Keith rolls him through, underhooks, but Okada BACKDROPS free! Then SLIDING LARIAT but Keith rolls through! TIGER DRIVER!! Cover, TWO!! Okada survives and Keith is stunned! Callis is stunned, but he admits Keith is doing great for himself. Keith runs up on Okada, GAMANGIRI in the corner! Keith goes up, reels Okada in, DIAMOND- NO, Okada blocks!

Okada gut wrenches through to LANDSLIDE DRIVER! Then a ripcord, RAINMAKER!! Cover, Okada wins!

Winner: Kazuchika Okada, by pinfall (still AEW International Champion)

Just as Bryan Keith was about to strike with Diamond Dust, Okada snatches away his victory to keep the gold! Callis then grabs the mic so he can say, “Okada has something important to say!” Okada is handed the mic, and he says, “I already have the International title. Unlike Takeshita! But I want more!” The fans like the sound of that! Okada says he is coming for THE A E W World Championship!! B*tch! The Rainmaker has staked his claim at the top prize, but is he overlooking what stands in his way? Or will the NJPW World Television Champion prove he can beat Okada and truly be THE Alpha of the Don Callis Family?

JetSpeed speaks.

Mike Bailey says, “Tonight, the TNT Champion becomes #Jet2Belts! Kevin, it’s time for you to prove that you’re no longer a rising star, but you’re way up there, shining bright, and you are the one we look up to.” Knight says he likes the way that sounds! Ever since he stepped into the building this morning, the air switched up a bit. And he appreciates Darby Allin for being the fighting champion he says he is, but what was it he was saying? Darby’s gonna fight until his body gives out? Well, Knight has news for you: that’s exactly what happens tonight when Darby steps into the ring with The Jet, and he becomes the NEW AEW World Champion!

The Jet is ready to fly, and Speedball also has his own match with AR Fox. Will tonight be the best night JetSpeed’s ever had?

The Opps speak.

Katsuyori Shibata wants to confiscate a camera like always, but Samoa Joe says nah, let the man do his job. Shibata stands with Joe and Anthony Bowens, and Joe says, “Well, ladies and gentlemen, I am Samoa Joe, and I am joined by The Opps. And I’m worried. See, last week, I put out an offer, and I am deathly afraid it is not being heard. Will Ospreay, please, hear these words and allow me to explain myself in a very non-intimidating manner. Y’see, men like Jon Moxley, they’re telling you how to think, Will. I don’t wanna do that, Will. I want you to think whatever you wanna think.

“Will, you gotta realize that I see the momentum. I see the tide rising, Will. I know that you are destined for greatness. And some say that you will be the next world champion. But now the question is, Will, how much of you will there be left to remain champion? Will, with a man like me at your side, with men like us at your side, William… That can be a very long time. Now you may say to yourself, ‘What are the advantages to this?’ Well, I’ll tell you what. In this organization, men like Hook, though he was unsuccessful last week, I won’t punish that man, no. This week, he’s off filming a movie, I made a few connections, I made a few calls, I put him in a better position to succeed.

“That’s what I wanna do for you. Anthony Bowens, long overlooked and underestimated, I will now provide an opportunity for him to succeed. This man here, Katsuyori Shibata, nowhere else in the world will he get to be him, The Wrestler, than with The Opps, and right here and right now. So William, just know this: The choice is yours, the choice is clear, and the intentions of the man that is staring you in the face right now are as clear as day. I’m gonna put out my hand to you one last time, and just know, William, if it is not accepted… Then I’ll put out my fist.” The Opps have given their ultimatum, but will Ospreay acknowledge it?

Prince Nana is backstage.

Cameras follow him as he finds Swerve Strickland. Swerve says, “Two months ago, I told everybody that I was after power. Power. But it seems a few understand what it truly means. See, real power is being the one to decide who eats and who starves. Real power is being the man that nobody will stop, and making sure the whole world sees it. I’m the Most Dangerous to the most violent, all the way to the Most Wanted. More power means more fear. And more control. And there is nothing more dangerous than a man that desires power. And I want it all.” The Realest has put Bandido on notice, but will he take The Outlaw down? Or will he be just another name that has tried and failed?

Renee is with The Most Wanted and the King of Death as she brings up Swerve calling Bandido out. What is his reaction to Swerve? Bandido says Swerve is right, Bandido IS the Most Wanted! Winner: Darby Allin, by pinfall (still AEW World Champion)

It was certainly fast ‘n’ furious, and Sting is here to celebrate with his former protege! The show is switching from Dynamite to Collision, but will nothing stop Darby from being THE AEW World Champion?

Collision begins as…

Sting helps Darby to his feet, but also helps Knight to his feet. Sting raises Darby’s hand in victory, but also raises Knight’s hand to show further respect. The two champs shake hands for that same reason, and both men move on. At least, Knight odes, as MJF makes his way out here! The fans are torn as The Scumbag steps on Darby’s moment, mic in hand. MJF has them cut his music, and he says, “I don’t know what’s worse: The fact that I have to be in the Carolinas, or the fact that this reign of terror of yours is still continuing. Listen to me, Darby, nobody wants to see you with that world title anymore, okay, bud?”

The fans boo but MJF says no one asked them, shut up! Enough is enough, this has been cute, it’s been fun, but it’s time to give MJF the rematch he’s owed, okay? Rematch time! The fans chant at MJF that he messed up, and Darby tells MJF that he’s already said no. If MJF wants the rematch, MJF has to put something on the line. MJF says alright, if Darby wants to barter with him, tell you what? MJF will put his scarf on the line, it’s a beautiful scarf. Darby says no, so MJF says he can’t even believe he’s saying this. How about the Dynamite Diamond Ring? Say yes! Darby says no. MJF is starting to get pissed off, okay?

MJF says everybody loves money, so if Darby gives him the rematch, MJF will give him ONE MILLION DOLLARS! Darby says you’re talking to a guy who used to be homeless living under a bridge, MJF’s money is no good here. MJF says okay, you troll, then what do you want?! Everyone’s got a price so what does Darby want!? Darby says he wants something MJF holds most dear in this life. Something MJF is so desperate to keep that he’s willing to fly 15 hours to Turkey to get it sewed onto his skull! Darby is talking about MJF’s hair! “Listen, you most vain POS I’ve ever met, I’m talking about your damn hair!!”

MJF says be reasonable, but the fans already chant, “BALD! BALD! BALD!” MJF says be reasonable, but Darby says next week, they’ll do a contract signing: Title VS Hair! And if MJF doesn’t show up, he is never, and Darby means never, getting a championship match! What does MJF say? MJF is flustered, and he drops the mic to run away! The tables have finally been turned on MJF, but how badly does The Devil of AEW want to make a deal with Darby? But then hold on, Okada walks back out here! The International Champion did say he wants more than one belt, and he’s going right up to the ring.

Okada grabs his own mic to tell Darby, “Next Wednesday, ME VS YOU! For your WORLD TITLE!” The fans cheer as Darby tells Okada, “It’s on, b*tch!” The Relentless One VS The Rainmaker, in Asheville, North Carolina, but who will reign supreme?

Backstage interview with Will Ospreay.

Renee is with both the Aerial Assassin and Doc Sampson to get a medical update. What is the verdict? Doc says Ospreay, against medical advice, went to Japan for a match. Luckily, he didn’t make anything worse. Upon his return, Doc checked Ospreay out, and he is actually improving. Whatever training he’s doing, he’ll keep doing it, and to that point, we’ll MRI this week. If that MRI is clear, then Ospreay will be medically cleared for AEW. Renee says that brings us to the obvious: Ospreay training with The Death Riders. What is their relationship? Ospreay says he appreciates The Death Riders letting him in on the training, but he’s not a Death Rider, never will be.

Ospreay just knows there are things he doesn’t wanna do that he knows he has to do to get to where he wants to be. Okay, Renee says they’ll keep everyone updated as news comes in. Will Ospreay be back to 100% soon enough?

Bailey soaks up the cheers before he runs, STANDING SHOOTING STAR FLOP as Fox moves! Fox and Bailey snarl as they rise up, and they start throwing forearms back and forth! Willow Nightingale speaks.

“It is an honor, on today of all days, to be called the Face of TBS. Turner Broadcasting System. And it’s privilege to wear its championship. And in that way, represent a man who changed the landscape of television, and gave professional wrestling a home. After nine title defenses, I’ve knocked down every challenger, I’ve smashed every comeback, because that is what the legacy of this network, the legacy of Turner, deserves: A fighting champion. So whoever wants next, step up. Because I plan on defending that legacy every single week.” The Babe with the Power has issued the challenge once more, but who will answer the call?

The Death Riders speak, again.

The Don Callis Family speaks.

Don Callis stands with Mark Davis, Kazuchika Okada, Konosuke Takeshita and the NEW IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion, Andrade El Idolo. Callis says he is so happy, because everything is coming up DCF! This Saturday, Fairway to Hell, Davis is gonna win gold for the family in the National Championship when he crushes Jack Perry! Okada has just had another successful title defense! And yes, breaking news that should keep everyone up at night, Okada has staked his claim to the AEW World Championship! Be very afraid! But Konosuke says no, Okada shouldn’t be worried about Darby and the world title.

Okada should be worried about defending his International Championship against Takeshita at Double or Nothing! Okada and Konosuke argue in Japanese, Callis shouts them down, saying on one hand, yes, they’re the best wrestlers in the world, so he agrees. But on the other, this is sounding a little Kenny Omega, where they want this but they also want that. What he’s saying is, Okada is Callis’ handpicked choice for THE world title! But then Andrade asks, “How you know?” El Idolo storms off, Callis says how does he know? Because he’s Don Callis, and he knows everything! And what he knows is that there’s gonna be more gold in the Don Callis Family!

The Real Latino Man and The Alpha are champions themselves, but are they really going to take a backseat to Okada grabbing up more gold for himself? Or can they all put Don Callis’ desires ahead of their own?

Rush VS Manny Lo!

Speaking of someone who wants gold, El Toro Blanco continues to stampede all over AEW, but the titles are still just out of reach. Will he finally prove himself worthy with another violent Collision?

The bell rings and Manny offers a handshake. Rush just THROWS Manny to the corner, CHOPS, CHOPS, and CHOPS! Rush sits Manny down, fires off forearms and stomps, but the ref counts. Rush stops at 4, then runs corner to corner, BULL’S HORNS!! Cover, Rush wins!

Winner: Rush, by pinfall

He wasted no time, because he is running out of patience! Rush gets the mic to say, “JUST REMEMBERRR~! When you mess with the bull, YOU GET THE HORNS!” Will every champion in AEW have to watch out before they get run over by El Toro Blanco?

Jack Perry speaks.

The Jurassic Express keeps on cruising, and Jack says when he was a boy, someone told him it’s not about the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog. And Mark Davis, you’re just a big, stupid dog. But it was grit, determination, and a willingness to win no matter the cost that made Jack into the National Champion. It doesn’t matter how big, bad, or dangerous you think you are, because Jack already beat Davis once, and he’ll do it again. There is only room for one, and Jack is on top of the mountain. If Davis doesn’t like that, F U! Jack Perry indeed climbed a mountain, but can he stay at the peak?

10 Man Tag: The Young Bucks & The Bang Bang Gang VS The Death Riders & Dogs!

While we got a teaser of this earlier tonight, Matt & Nick Jackson now team with Ace Austin & The Gunns to face off against Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia, David Finlay & Clark Connors. Will this the Collision Cowboys help throw quite the Superkick Party? Or will the Swiss Cyborg, Decoder, Dragon Slayer, Savage King & 100 Proof simply stack bodies on their way to the top?

Forget sorting out in the ring, The Death Riders lead the charge as soon as #BangBangBucks are ringside! The bell rings to get this on record as Matt brawls with Yuta, Garcia is after Austin, Finlay CLUBS Nick, Claudio ROCKS Colten, and Connors has Ace. Moxley is on commentary to say high octane start as Yuta & Garcia mug Nick in the corner. They double suplex but Matt makes the save! The Bucks then have Garcia, but Yuta CLUBS Nick! It is 2v2 but Ace joins in! But then Connors joins in! Moxley wonders what we’re getting as Austin and Finlay add on. Moxley says it’s a human centipede suplex situation and he’s uncomfortable.

Claudio UPPERCUTS Colten down on the outside, and The Bang Bang Bucks QUADRUPLE SUPLEX! The fans fire up, and now everyone has someone in a corner! Colten even turns things around on Claudio at the desk! We quite a quintuple rain of fists, all the way to TEN! That’s fifty punches in all, and then the Bang Bang Bucks send the Death Dogs at each other! Yuta, Garcia, Finlay & Connors all stop short, but turn around into QUADRUPLE ATOMIC DROPS! The Death Dogs all stumble around then fall out of the ring, but Claudio is in the ring! But Ace & Austin double kick to double whip! Claudio sends them into each other, but Matt gives Nick the boost for a RANA!

Claudio tumbles out, The Bucks rally the fans, and Matt WRECKS Claudio with a dropkick! Matt holds the ropes down for Nick to FLY! Down goes Claudio, but Yuta DROPKICKS Matt! Ace LARIATS Yuta up and out! Ace builds speed but Garcia trips him up! Ace kicks free, but Garcia blocks the kick! Ace handstands out of the throw, then avoids the sweep to PENALTY KCIK! But Connors APRON SPEARS Ace! The Gunns get Finlay with kicks and a whip, to then DOUBLE QUICK DRAW! Finlay flounders but Yuta is back! He gets a BODY SHOT, LARIAT, and “SUCK IT!” The Gunns wait on Yuta, but Garcia makes the save!

Claudio is back but Colten DECKS him! Connors and Finlay target Austin, he’s a deer in headlights for the DOUBLE SPEAR! Finlay fireman’s carries Colten to HOTSHOT, then Connors hits the JEEP FLIPPER! The fans boo but the Death Riders all stomp away on Colten, and Collision goes picture in picture.

The Dogs regroup as things finally sort out. They drag Austin around while Garcia stomps Ace. Finlay bends Austin’s fingers, then JAMS them into the mat! Colten is sent into barriers while Finlay bumps Austin off buckles. Tag to Claudio and the Death Dogs mug Austin. The Death Dogs then soak up the heat, and Claudio clamps onto Austin with a modified chinlock. Austin endures, reaches out, and he fights up. Austin wrenches free and ROCKS Claudio! Garcia tags in as Claudio keeps Austin back, and Garcia CLOBBERS him! Garcia talks trash on the fans, then puts Austin in a corner. Garcia rains down fists, and goes to nine before putting up his dukes.

Garcia hops down, still no dancing. Garcia drags Austin over, scoops, and SLAMS! Tag to Yuta, he soaks up heat while mockingly applauding Austin. Yuta dares Austin to go to his corner, but then dropkicks him down! Yuta taunts Austin, keeps him from his corner, but Austin ROCKS Yuta! And ROCKS him again! Yuta wobbles, Austin ROCKS Yuta! Yuta CLAWS the eyes, then pushes him over to cover, TWO! Austin toughs it out but Yuta mockingly applauds. Yuta clamps on a chinlock, Austin endures, and the fans rally. Austin fights up, up, and Collision returns to single picture as he hits the BIG back suplex!

The fans rally, Yuta hot tags Claudio, but the Death Dogs all BLAST the Bang Bang Bucks! Then the Cycle of Violence starts up on Austin! ELBOW, UPPERCUT, LARIAT, RAM, UPPERCUT, repeat! Then feed to Claudio for the GIANT SWING! Yuta DROPKICKS Austin out of it, covers, but the Bang Bang Bucks all break it! The Death Dogs throw them back out, and Claudio argues with the ref. Claudio taunts Austin, kicks him around, but Austin rises up. The fans rally as Claudio CHOPS! Austin CHOPS back! Claudio runs up, Austin wrenches to COMPLETE SHOT! The fans fire up as Austin brings Claudio down!

The fans rally as hard as they can, hot tags to Yuta and Colten! Colt 45 fires off LARIAT after LARIAT, even snap suplexes Garcia! Then he SPLASHES Yuta! Colten keeps moving, Colten Crossover to the NECKBREAKER! Claudio runs up but Colten TOSSES him out! Yuta runs up but Colten ELBOWS then URENAGES! Cover, TWO! Yuta survives, but Colten kicks! “SUCK IT!” But Claudio trips Colten up! Ace runs up and gets a boost to FLY out onto Claudio! Garcia sneaks a tag, Yuta dodges the splash, and now Garcia trips Colten! DRAGON TAMER!! The fans boo but Yuta adds a CURB STOMP!! Cover, TWO!!

The fans fire up as Colten survives that “Dark Horse” combo! Garcia whips but Colten blocks! Colten whips Garcia to then LARIAT him down! The fans fire up again as both men crawl. Hot tag to Matt! The fans cheer as Matt runs up but Garcia ELBOWS him! But Matt catches Garcia to a NORTHERN LIGHTS! The Polar Express gets going but Garcia slips around! Matt switches, Finlay sneaks a tag before the O’Conner! But Matt catches Finlay, and Connors, DOUBLE NORTHERN LIGHTS BRIDING COVER, TWO!! The fans fire up and Moxley admits the Bucks are always creative and innovative. Charleston knows “This is Awesome!” as Matt stands Finlay up.

Matt ROCKS Finlay, whips him to the corner, but Finlay reverses. Matt goes up and over, and Nick runs up to SHINING WIZARD! GAMANGIRI! LARIAT! Matt fires off on Connors, too, and The Bucks DOUBLE BULLDOG! The fans fire up with The Bucks, and they position The Dogs in the drop zone. The Bucks go up top while the fans cheer again, SWANTON BOMB and MACHO ELBOW! Matt asks if the fans are ready, for the Superkick Party~! SUPERKICK for Connors! SUPERKICK for Finlay! SUPERKICK for Finlay, then SUPERKICK for Connors! Yuta & Garcia run in, but they’re sent into Finlay & Connors!

The Dark Horses are stunned, and they turn around into DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! Then DOUBLE SUPERKICKS for Finlay! The fans are thunderous as The Bucks get Finlay, B T E TRIGGER!! Cover, YUTA BREAKS IT! But Ace is in, he KNEES and BOOTS Yuta to fireman’s carry! Ace does a squat to then DEATH VALLEY DRIVER! But Claudio BOOTS Ace! SUPERKICK for Claudio! Claudio rebounds to DUOBLE LARIAT! But 3:10 TO YUMA for Claudio! Garcia DUMPS Austin out, SHOTGUNS Colten, then ducks a kick! DOUBLE LARITS for Garcia and Nick! DOULE LARIATS for Austin and Connors! DOUBLE LARIATS for Ace and Yuta!

Finlay runs, but DOUBLE LARIATS for him and Matt! DOUBLE LARIATS for Colten and Claudio! They stay up, roar, and go again! DOUBLE LARIATS and they’re down after all! Ace lands out! The Bucks join in, TRIPLE SUPERKICKS! Then a DOUBLE DIVE onto The Dogs! Ace hits THE FOLD!! Cover, Bang Bang Bucks win!!

Winners: The Young Bucks & The Bang Bang Gang, by pinfall

Moxley admits, that’s a great finishing move. Wrestling on TBS, what better way to end the night? But with this huge win for The Bucks and the Bang Bang Gang, will nothing stop these teams from taking back championship gold?

My Thoughts:

An awesome three hour block for AEW, which they’ve all but been doing lately anyway. But in the end, they still booked this as just a Dynamite followed by a Collision, not as one giant show. Though, with how they handled that very booking, it was fine for Darby VS Knight to be the Dynamite main event that then helped segue into filler Collision. The world title scene is getting full up mostly because everyone knows Darby is willing to take on anyone and everyone, other than MJF. But while I thought Darby was going to ask MJF to do the same deal as Cody and Hangman, he gives us the next best thing: Title VS Hair, and if MJF refuses, THEN he ends up like Cody and Hangman, aka banned from challenging for this title (at least while Darby has it, I presume).

Okada wanting the world title is kind of like, “About time!” I don’t see Darby losing on Dynamite if he’s also giving MJF his opportunity, but this all helps feed the Don Callis Family dysfunction. Andrade is slowly turning against Callis given Callis outright said Okada is his top pick for the top title. Andrade joining Konosuke’s side in this Callis Family Civil War would certainly be a great move given the absence of Kyle Fletcher choosing between #Protoshita and #Protokada. Pac calling out Darby was good stuff, and that match for “Fairway to Hell” will be great, but again, Darby will win that to then win against Okada and face MJF at Double or Nothing.

Rush crushed his opponent much faster than expected, he should definitely be challenging someone on the other side of Double or Nothing. Bailey VS Fox was really good, but Bailey should also be challenging for something after the PPV. An obvious answer is Knight VS Bailey just to see that match, but maybe LFI can have a serious feud with JetSpeed as part of a TNT Championship build. Great Double Jeopardy match, but they really just threw people out there for the fun of it. This and the wild 10 Man Tag to close the night all works to keep the tag and trios divisions strong while there’s this odd traffic jam while FTR VS C&C finally sorts out.

Jericho and Ricochet turning their rematch into a Stadium Stampede is pretty wild, I thought we were getting Mimosa Mayhem. But maybe Jericho can help Hurt Syndicate find those new members they are looking for through finding two more men to fight in that 5v5. Not sure who The Demand will get as their additional members, but it’d be kinda funny if they were the ones coming up empty because no one wants to deal with Ricochet’s ego. Either way, I would think Jericho gets the win through this, and then we can have Jericho VS Ricochet 1v1 one last time at All In: London. Very good promo from Swerve, very good response from Brodido, but not even sure the point of the feud other than a dream match to hold both guys over before bigger things.

Hilarious and great promo from Mina & Harley, great match from them and #Shidalander, but I figured Shida & Stat were winning that. They’re gonna stay strong up until the moment Shida finally turns on Stat. Very good match from Jamie VS Skye, and good win for Jamie, but hopefully Alex Windsor isn’t hurt too badly. Double or Nothing really should be some kind of Triple Threat to fit both the name and the story, so hopefully Windsor is back in time for the PPV. And great stuff with Will Ospreay, The Death Riders, and The Opps. Ospreay said he’s not joining Death Riders, he’s just getting their help. But he didn’t even mention Joe & The Opps, so I think Ospreay gets lumped in with Death Riders in the inevitable feud. Either way, Ospreay VS Joe will be amazing.

My Score: 9.1/10

The Death Riders speak.

It was after AEW Dynamite on Wednesday that Jon Moxley said, “Every time I step into the ring with Kyle O’Reilly, I can’t find a way to win. It’s been failure after failure after failure. Kyle O’Reilly has tapped me out, twice. Ipso facto, Kyle O’Reilly will be the new Continental Champion. You might think. But the Jon Moxley of six months ago is not the same as Jon Moxley of today. Who I will be tomorrow is better than who I am today. Logic and strategy would dictate that I should stay as far away from Kyle O’Reilly as I can. Because there’s no doubt about it, Kyle, you have my number.

The thing about this Continental Championship, it’s good bait. All the dragons I wanna slay come right to my door. I will do what I’ve done for 22 years surviving in this business, Kyle: I’m gonna find a way.” The Maniac heads out, and Claudio Castagnoli steps forward to tell Brody King that Brody always brings the bark. But if he steps in the ring with Claudio in the Owen Hart Tournament, he better bring the bite. Pac then says, “Nobody gets special treatment. It doesn’t matter who you are, Death Riders against the world.” Daniel Garcia says yeah, let’s get it! Yuta repeats, “Against the world.” Marina Shafir tells the world, “Bring it, you p*ssies!”

AEW World Trios Championship Eliminator: The Conglomeration VS Lee Moriarty & The Infantry w/ Shane Taylor Promotions!

Well speaking of Kyle O’Reilly, he, Orange Cassidy, and the returning Mark Briscoe are going to put STP to the test! #TAIGASTYLE is still ROH Pure Champion, but Shawn Dean & Carlie Bravo are upset after losing the ROH World Six Man Tag titles. Will STP take out their frustrations as they rumble, bad man, rumble? Or will the Violent Artist, Freshly Squeezed & Sussex County Chicken simply send #THEM home emptyhanded?

The trios sort out and Briscoe steps up against #BadNews&Tattoos. The fans are behind Briscoe as he and Bravo circle. They approach, Bravo kicks low, and he flips everyone off. The fans boo, Bravo headlocks, but Briscoe powers up, out, and headlocks in return. Bravo powers up and out but Briscoe RUNS him over! The fans cheer, and Briscoe runs. Bravo drops down, hurdles, but Briscoe hits a crane stance! Bravo says that’s stupid! But Briscoe ducks Bravo’s punch to UPPERCUT! Briscoe whips, Bravo reverses to ROCK Briscoe! Kyle powers up and out, Lee goes up and around, but Kyle does the same to slide under.

Lee ducks a kick, then wheelbarrows to victory roll, then EURO CLUTCH! TWO! Kyle is up, Lee backs off, and the fans cheer the exchange. Lee RUNS Kyle, keeps moving, but Kyle drops down. Lee sunset flips but Kyle stays up! Kyle shakes his head, drops down into the ARMBAR, but here comes The Infantry! Briscoe & Cassidy intercept Dean & Bravo, fire off hands in corners, and Kyle shifts to an ANKLE LOCK! But Lee reels Kyle into a headlock.

Briscoe & Cassidy TOSS The Infantry, then go out after them. Lee waistlocks, Kyle fires elbows, and Kyle climbs up in the corner. The fans count along as Kyle goes all the way to TEN! Tag to Briscoe, he climbs up, and he rains down fists! Briscoe goes all the way to TEN, then he tags Cassidy! The fans fire up again as Cassidy winds up, climbs up, and rains down ONE! The fans cheer Cassidy while Lee stumbles. Lee tags Dean, and now The Captain steps to Cassidy. Dean says go ahead, put the hands in the pockets. Cassidy says okay, and he raises his hands, to then slowly, slowly, put them in his pockets!

The fans cheer as Cassidy then ducks ‘n’ dodges Dean, and still arm-drags Dean away! Dean runs up, Cassidy drops down to MONKEY FLIP! Then Cassidy kips up! The fans fire up, but Bravo storms in and whips him to a corner. Cassidy goes up, out, and ducks Bravo to bump him off buckles! Dean tries, but Cassidy bumps him off buckles! Cassidy tries again, but the CARLIE CROSSOVER hits, then a feed to the SLINGSHOT SPEAR! Lee drags Cassidy to the apron, the ref is still distracted, Shane Taylor hits a GUILLOTINE LEG DROP! The fans boo but STP has taken control while Collision goes to picture in picture!

Lee drags Cassidy up, puts him in the ring, and Dean covers, TWO! Dean drags Cassidy up, whips him to ropes, then BODY BLOWS! Cassidy falls in a heap but Dean soaks up heat. Dean stomps Cassidy, drags him up, then bumps him off buckles. Dean tags Bravo to send him in for the SPLASH! Dean adds a SPLASH, then scoops while Bravo goes up, KNEE DROP SIDEWALK SLAM COMBO! Cover, Briscoe breaks it! Bravo is upset, but he CLUBS Cassidy. Cassidy fights the suplex, Bravo CLUBS him again and again, then suplexes through! Cover, TWO! Cassidy toughs it out but Bravo drags Cassidy over to the corner.

Dean tags in, The Infantry stomps away on Cassidy, but the ref counts. Dean stops to kneel on Cassidy, then steps off again. Cassidy throws “shots” on the leg, but Dean stomps Cassidy down! Dean then BLASTS Briscoe & Kyle! The ref reprimands but that just lets Bravo CHOKE Cassidy! The ref reprimands Bravo now as Collision returns to single picture. Dean asks, “Is this camera on me? B! B! C!” BRONCO BUSTER CAPTAIN! Dean bounces, Bravo says if you see Cap in that corner, yo’ ass is a goner! Dean drags Cassidy up, tags Bravo, and Dean sends Bravo in for the SPLASH! Then feed to Dean, but Cassidy tilt-o-whirl DDTS!

ORANGE PUNCH for Shane! Kyle FLYING KNEES Shane down for good measure! Briscoe uses the chair to FLY! Down goes STP!! The fans are thunderous as Kyle gets Dean in, and Briscoe is up top! FROGGY-BOW! But that’s not all! Dean staggers into the kick, the underhooks, and JAY DRILLER!! Cover, Conglomeration wins!

Winners: The Conglomeration, by pinfall (denies Shane Taylor Promotions a title opportunity)

When it rains, it pours for STP! Will they just have to regroup and refocus taking over ROH? Will The Conglomeration continue to #ManUp here in AEW?

Will Ospreay speaks.

It was also after Dynamite that The Aerial Assassin told Samoa Joe, “My apologies for not getting back to any of your messages, been a little bit busy training and getting myself ready for The Owen. Surprised to see you there in the opening round, mate. It’s gonna be a tough one. But if you can just bear with me for a hot second while I explain to you… Six months of my life got taken away from me, mate. Six months, I’ve been sitting in front of a TV screen, watching AEW, looking at it, trying to get my strength back in my arms, rushing to get back. That’s six months of frustration, six months of anger. And then I finally had my kill shot on Dynasty, and I lost.

“And ever since then, man, I’ve been struggling with my matches. Doc even stopped one for my own safety. I’m annoyed that I didn’t get revenge on Jon. But I’m more upset at the idea that I can’t be the guy that AEW put their trust in once upon a time. Regardless of how I feel about Jon, regardless of how I feel about The Death Riders, there’s nothing that I can say that’ll make people ever understand. But Jon Moxley is the Ace, he’s a soldier for this place. And while his methods might be sick, there are people who stand up to see him get elevated. So what could it happen with him in my corner?

“Joe, I’ve got nothing but respect for ya. Everything that you’ve done in this industry. Mate, you were in the match that made me want to become a pro-wrestler. But no one, no one, is stopping me from winning The Owen. And I find it very poetic that the man takt took away my old life has given me a second chance of capturing the world championship.” The Billy Goat is ready to become something more, but will Samoa Joe make sure Ospreay goes Double or Nothing and loses?

Backstage interview with The Conglomeration.

Lexy Nair congratulates them on their win tonight, and brings up that Moxley has accepted Kyle’s challenge. Kyle says yes, Moxley is right, Kyle has his number. But facing Moxley has been the biggest test of Kyle’s career, so what’s one more test? This Wednesday, it’s a title eliminator, and after Kyle makes Moxley submit again, he is putting all his chips in and goes Double or Nothing! Briscoe says damn right, Kyle. And speaking of Dynamite, Tommaso Ciampa, Briscoe put it plain and clear, but he hasn’t heard a word from Ciampa! If Ciampa’s scared, he should just say it! Cassidy says Willow needs to say something.

Willow says sure, okay. Great job, guys, really. But for her, Double or Nothing, it will be TRIPLE or nothing, because she has THIS bad boy, the TBS Championship! But she’s also coming for The Owen, and the World Championship! As for tonight, Red Velvet may have beaten Willow to qualify for The Owen, but that won’t happen tonight. Welcome back to AEW, time to meet the Comeback Killer. Lexy says by the way, that match is next. Willow fires up, hurries off to make her entrance, but will she be ready to cook with The Chef?

AEW TBS Championship: Willow Nightingale VS Red Velvet!

Before making her entrance, the ROH Women’s World TV Champion tells Willow, “The Comeback Killer,” that she’s still salty that Willow is in The Owen and Velvet is not. Willow goes around and around, then back the other way! Willow then SAMOAN DROPS! Willow says that’s how you stir it up! Cover, TWO! Velvet survives but Willow reels her into a KOJI KLUTCH! Velvet endures, even as Willow puts on the pressure, and Collision goes to break!

Collision returns as Willow has Velvet in a corner. Willow runs corner to corner, but Velvet slips to the outside! Willow ROCKS Velvet first, then goes outside to fireman’s carry! But Velvet fights free! Velvet ROCKS Willow, Willow ROCKS Velvet, and Velvet sits down! Willow fires the fans up, then lines up her shot. Velvet stands up, Willow runs, but Velvet dodges! Cannonball crashes ‘n’ burns!! Willow writhes and clutches her back, but she’s somehow still in this! A ring count starts, Velvet rolls in before 3, but Willow rises up at 5. Willow hobbles her way over, rolls into the ring, but Velvet SUPERKICKS her down! Cover, TWO!

The fans rally as Velvet brings Willow up. Willow shoves Velvet, Velvet counter punches! And counter punches! Velvet fires a flurry, but Willow slips around to waistlock. Willow ducks the elbow but Velvet DDTS! Willow goes to ropes, Velvet runs up, DOUBLE KNEES! The fans fire up while Velvet yanks the ropes. Velvet wheelbarrows to BULLDOG! Cover, TWO! Backstage interview with Sammy Guevara.

Lexy Nair is with The Spanish God and brings up how he called out Darby Allin just last night at Supercard of Honor for the AEW World Championship. But just like last night, Sammy hushes “Chica” Lexy, and says, “Everybody’s Favorite Pillar is about to talk, so zip it and listen. Darby, I don’t need to call my shot against you because I looked through the history books, and history’s on my side. I’ve beaten you not once, not twice, not three times, I’ve beaten you four times. When I look at the history books, I’m a three-time TNT Champion while you, you’ve only held that belt twice.

“So I’m gonna beat you tonight like I’ve beaten you before. I’m gonna stamp my ticket to Double or Nothing, and MJF, I know you’re watching, you sociopath. I’m gonna beat you next week and I’m gonna shave you BALD! But don’t worry, I’ll give you a nice little fade. Because I am the best! I am the best wrestler, I am the best talker, I am the best this planet has! I’m the Spanish God, dammit! I’m number one, I’ve been here since day one, and there’s only one way this is gonna go: With me as the NEW AEW World Champion! Darby, your time is up, and my time is now. Because I am Numero Uno. That means ‘number one.'”

Sammy heads out, but is his big head only going to get in the way tonight?

Backstage interview with Darby Allin.

Collision returns and Lexy is now with said AEW World Champion. She brings up the five title defenses in 21 days, an AEW record! But tonight is number six against someone Darby’s known for a long time in Sammy Guevara. Darby says when he showed up today, he asked if anyone had seen MJF yet. Then he thought, “What a stupid question. Of course he’s not gonna be at Collision.” MJF is not a company man, he only cares about himself. And those same people asked back, why is Darby back? Why is Darby defending his title again? Double or Nothing is next Sunday, why is Darby risking losing this? Because Darby loves this!

And if there’s anyone in this company as crazy as Darby, it is Sammy Guevara. Darby loves it! Darby realizes this could all end tonight, and Speedball wants his match on Wednesday? Well, if Darby walks out here tonight, then on Dynamite, it’s Showtime! Darby thanks Lexy then heads back out. Will the Relentless Reign be an unstoppable one? Or is this one Collision Darby will not walk away from?

Something’s going on backstage!

Ciampa then climbs up, soaks up heat, and vows to end Briscoe once and for all! But then Kyle & Cassidy rush out here! Ciampa runs away from The Conglomeration, but he warns them all that he’ll get them for this! Briscoe grabs a mic to shout at Ciampa, “You ain’t nothin’ but a punk, son! You wanna do it like that? Sounds like to me Wednesday night, the only right thing to do is to make this ANYTHING GOES! NO DISQUALIFICATIONS!” The fans like the sound of that!

The Psycho Killer may have just stepped into it! Will there be nothing stopping Briscoe from doing anything he wants to Ciampa?

But I have found solace and clarity in the fact that i Have found a group of men, The Opps, that understand everything I do for this business, everything I do for AEW, and everything I do for you!” The fans cheer, and Bowens continues by saying everywhere he goes, he represents the fans, because he is the Pride of Pro-Wrestling! He is your hero! And to be honest, for everything that he does, he deserves a standing ovation! Joe certainly applauds, and the fans here in Salisbury join in!

Bowens says if you’re asking what this change of attitude is about… This man, Samoa Joe, has been teaching Bowens all he needs to know: choices have consequences; and if you don’t like the way the table is set, you flip that table over and you choose violence! The fans cheer, and now Joe speaks on the mic. “Oh, Ospreaaaay~…! Do you understand what I do for my friends? But unfortunately, decisions have consequences, and you chose a different road, Will. So allow me to say this: I am truly beyond honored that you consider facing me a dream match.” The fans cheer that, but Joe says it’s just unfortunate that when he gets Ospreay in the ring, “it’ll be nothing but a nightmare.”

Joe & Bowens have made it clear that no matter who, no matter where, and no matter what, The Opps will not show mercy. Will nothing stop The Opps from taking it all here in AEW?

Backstage interview with #Brodido.

Lexy Nair is with Brody King & Bandido, and wants to talk the Owen Hart Tournament. Brody is set to face Claudio while Bandido is up against Swerve Strickland. Now, if they both win their matches, that pits them against teach other in the semifinals. But what they also needs to talk about is last night, Supercard of Honor, Bandido retained the title, only for Swerve to attack. Brody tells Swerve that he warned him about what would happen if Swerve messed with the people Brody cared about! Next time Brody sees Swerve, he’ll- Bandido stops Brody there, and says no, no, hermano. Bandido loves you, but this is Bandido’s battle, and Brody needs to respect that.

So Bandido tells Swerve that this is a battle Swerve will not win! Swerve may be the Most Dangerous, but Bandido is the Most Wanted! And after Double or Nothing when Bandido beats Swerve, Swerve won’t be a danger to anyone anymore! Both sides of Brodido have spoken, but will either of them knock down Swerve’s House? Or will Swerve’s thirst for power be satiated with the Owen Hart Cup?

Megan Bayne & Lena Kross established just how dominant they are in the first 5 Minute Challenge last week, yet it seems two more poor souls want to test their might. Will Allie & Kaia at least last longer than the previous team? Or will The Megasus & Aussie Amazon score the fatality?

It was only one minute and 50 seconds this time, they’re only getting stronger! Will no duo ever remove Megan & Lena from the mountaintop?

AEW hears from the four fighting for the AEW Women’s World Championship.

Kris Statlander says, “At Double or Nothing, I face three women, one who I hate, one who I respect, and one who I’m still not sure about.” The hated one, Thekla, says there’s only one way this ends when she’s up against dumb b*tch after dumb b*tch after dumb b*tch. The respected one, Jamie Hayter, says she had the title stripped away from her and it’s eluded her ever since. And the uncertainty, Hikaru Shida, says even though it is every one for themselves, she knows she and Kris will be on the same page, just like always! Kris says y’know who really has her back? Kris herself! That’s all she needs! Jamie warns Thekla that she’s gonna find out, unfinished business is her favorite kind!

Thekla says Double or Nothing, the Toxic Spider destroys New York! A Fatal 4 Way of epic proportions await, will there be nothing left after the dust clears?

Backstage interview with Athena and Mina Shirakawa.

Lexy Nair is with the ROH Women’s World Champion and the Fighting Gravure Idol, and thanks them for accepting the No Physicality Agreement. They are on a collision course in the opening round of the Owen Hart Tournament, this has gotta be a tough one. Athena says maybe, maybe not, but the facts are this: Athena has been the ROH Women’s World Champion for over 1252 DAYS, and has left of dozens of bodies in her wake. Pretty sure Mina’s one of them. Mina says last year at All In, Athena broke Mina’s hand. Athena says so what! Last year at Death Before Dishonor, she kicked Mina’s ass all over the arena! Why does Mina think this match will be any different?

Mina laughs and says last night at Supercard, when she locked in the Figure Four on her opponent, she dreamt it was Athena. Athena says Mina is dreaming of her! So flattered! But she hopes Mina has the best dream tonight: Mina’s dead body in a ditch, next to her precious Toni Storm! Mina tells Athena that Mina has dreamt of winning The Owen and the AEW Women’s World title, while ending Athena! She can’t dream anymore, because now she will live it! Athena says sure, sure. They argue, but Lexy keeps them from getting physical! Will the Fallen Goddess be unstoppable even in AEW? Or will The Owen will be about #MinaNow?

Backstage interview with Lio Rush.

Nigel McGuinness tracked down The Problem Child, and walks over. Lio says hey, Nigel! Good to see you! He saw Nigel put in that work last night, he did great. He did really good. Nigel appreciates that, that’s what he wants to talk about. Specifically, what happened between Lio and his former tag team partner, Action Andretti. Action cost Lio the ROH World TV Championship, what is Lio’s response? Lio says it’s all fine! It’s fine! These things happen, Nigel. Losses happen, friends get upset. It’s fine. It’s fine. Lio keeps saying that, and Nigel says that is the official response. Lio again says it’s good to see Nigel.

But then Lio takes off his sunglasses to show off those creepy eyes. He smiles, and that black goo drools out… Lio continues to say it’s fine, but is it anything but fine? Or should Action learn to sleep with one eye open?

Six Man Tag: Mark Davis & The Dogs VS The Rascalz!

Before they team up for Stadium Stampede, the AEW National Champion teams with David Finlay & Clark Connors to test their chemistry. Will Dunkzilla, The Rebel & 100 Proof sink their teeth into Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz & Myron Reed? Or will The Rascalz light ’em up and smoke ’em in Salisbury?

Renee Paquette is there to bring up tonight’s main event is Darby Allin VS Konosuke Takeshita for the AEW World Championship. If Darby Allin wins, MJF will then have to sign a contract for Title VS Hair at Double or Nothing. Darby has made it clear that if MJF doesn’t sign said contract, Darby will never allow MJF to face him for the title again. We all know how important the title is for MJF, but is MJF willing to put his hair on the line for it? MJF just chuckles and moves on, but he notices the very bald Rick Knox, Bryce Remsburg, and the head of security, David Aponte. And then various bald members of the production staff…

And then even Christopher Daniels & Sonjay Dutt are there! Daniels and Sonjay chuckle before moving on, and then MJF sees John Silver flexing. Brandon Cutler, some arena staff, and even Tommaso Ciampa, all bald. Then last but certainly not least, Ricochet! He tells MJF that don’t worry, he’ll look great. Just not as good as Ricochet. AHA~! MJF storms off, will he have no choice but to choose between gold belt and chrome dome?

10 Man Tag: Orange Cassidy, Adam Copeland, Christian Cage & The Young Bucks VS Tommaso Ciampa, David Finlay, Clark Connors & FTR w/ Stokely Hathaway!

While we know the AEW World Tag Team Championship match will be a conglomeration of I Quit Match and New York Street Fight, THE Conglomeration will be waiting on the other side for their own tag title match. And let’s not forget that Matt & Nick Jackson want their own shot at those titles again. With that, can Freshly Squeezed work together with C&C and The Bucks? Another star-studded 10 Man Tag, and it was a huge win for all the hungry contenders. Christian doesn’t wanna celebrate, but he does signal that he and Cope will be champions. Will putting their tag team legacy on the line be enough to take the gold? Or will Double or Nothing be the last night that team reeks of awesomeness?

Will Ospreay continues to train with The Death Riders.

They’re outside this time, Claudio Castagnoli playing some wall ball with Marina Shafir and Pac. Daniel Garcia says, “Tonight is the night that we’ve all been waiting for: The Aerial Assassin, Will Ospreay, is cleared and back on Dynamite. And rumor has it, the kid’s been working real hard and he’s got some new tricks up his sleeves. So Young Boy Billy, tonight you gotta show me something, c’mon.” Garcia gets a quick turn in on wall ball while cameras move over. Ospreay is maintaining a neck bridge while Jon Moxley uses Wheeler Yuta as a living dummy to show just how to push and pull and bend and twist on the various chinlocks and headlocks.

Use the right arm to push against the head, then snake in the left arm for the sleeper. Pry and shoot. Moxley asks how Ospreay feels. Ospreay lets off the bridge and says honestly, the best he’s felt in forever. Moxley asks if Ospreay remembers the night he won the Best of the Super Juniors. Yeah, 2019. AKA a lifetime ago. Ospreay was carefree, flew like a bird, for no other reason than that’s just what birds do. So simple back then, chasing that feeling, like no other feeling in the world. Can’t really grab it in your hands for more than a few seconds. The joy of doing it. Then everybody comes in and tries to make it so overcomplicated.

Years pass, life happens, a family starts, responsibilities show up, bad things happen, bad choices catch up to you, and it’s all weight on your shoulders. You feel like you can’t fly. But Moxley will tell you something: Nothing is different. Nothing has changed. All those things are still gonna be there, but you can still fly. You’re just more dangerous now. You’re a bird of prey. So tonight, when you got out there, don’t go out there to protect anything. Not your neck, your image, your reputation, or what you’ve built in your career. Go out there to give something. Moxley checks on Yuta and says dammit, if you’re gonna snap a headlock, snap the headlock!

Moxley storms off to instruct his pupil, but will Ospreay use everything he has been taught to great effect? Or will he have to fold against Ace Austin?

Chris Jericho speaks.

“You wanna face Jericho in a match of my own design, Ricochet? A spectacle so innovative, so imaginative, it cannot be contained, it can only be witnessed. Well, be careful what you demand, because you’ve made a few enemies yourself, Ricochet. And now a match designed specifically to settle scores without any, and I mean AAANY~, limitations has gotten even bigger.” Chris Jericho & The Hurt Syndicate were just looking for two more, but “Jungle” Jack Perry said he can bring four: himself, The Young Bucks, and KENNY OMEGA! Jericho tells Ricochet that this is no longer what he designed, but it is a devil’s dance of destruction! Ricochet’s destruction!

Ricochet got what he wanted, now can he handle it? Bald. The first-ever SEVEN VS SEVEN Stadium Stampede, who will even survive?

Ricochet & The Demand respond.

They stand with Mark Davis of the Don Callis Family and Ricochet says we all know Jericho does a lot of talking out of his ass while The Demand gets things done. Just like Davis did when he defeated Jack for the AEW National Championship at Fairway to Hell. Hold it with pride, Davis, Ricochet knows you’ll do it well. Davis says he’s got this. Ricochet says Davis has joined the dream team, but he’s not the only one. Because compliments to Ricochet’s golfing buddy, Don Callis, look who else he’s sending: Andrade El Idolo! Gracias, amigo. But it doesn’t stop there, the train keeps rolling. Ricochet was just approached by two guys who have an ax to grind with the superkick sidekicks.

These two wanna fill out the last two spots, so who is Ricochet to say no to The Dogs? Finlay & Connors storm in, and Finlay says to put it simple, they will fight The Bucks in the streets, in the ring, but guess it’s fighting at Double or Nothing! If they want violence, if they want carnage, if they want chaos, who better than The Dogs?! The Dogs bark and Liona roars, but will these seven stand tall in the Big Apple?

“Speedball” Mike Bailey w/ Kevin Knight VS BK Westbrook!

JetSpeed has a lot of momentum on their side, and as stated last week at Fairway to Hell, they’re looking to grab up all the gold they can. Will Speedball keep on rolling towards his own golden opportunity? Or will #Supastud prove his own worth?

The bell rings and the fans rally as the two step up. Bailey bows in respect, offers a handshake, but Westbrook goes to roll Bailey up! Bailey stays on his feet, then steps over to sit down on a cover, TWO! Westbrook ducks a Penalty Kick, avoids the moonsault, and the sweep! Bailey dodges, Westbrook tiger feints through the ropes, but Bailey handsprings up and over! The fans fire up as Bailey ducks an elbow to whip. Westbrook goes up, around, but kinda fumbles his tumble. The fans cheer and jeer him for his attempt, but Westbrook blocks the boot! Westbrook FLIPS Bailey, springboards in, but Bailey dodges! TIME ADVENTURE!

Bailey pushes Westbrook down, goes up the corner, and the fans fire up for the ULTIMATE WEAPON! Cover, Bailey wins!

The Machine was out for 14 months and yet no ring rust to be found! However, The Jet is just #2Fly2Stop! Bailey brings mics into the ring to say, “Congratulations to The Jet on a hell of a win!” Knight says much appreciated. But like he said, they’re red hot right now! And Brian Cage, welcome back! Cage took Knight to his limits, but The Jet is still standing as TNT Champion. But Knight can’t get over how last week, he couldn’t get the job done becoming #Jet2Belts. Bailey says forget last week. Knight IS a future AEW World Champion! Bailey says he knows it, and everyone here knows it! The fans cheer that!

AEW reveals the Men’s Owen Hart Memorial Tournament Brackets!

This year’s tournaments will go through Double or Nothing, and the finals will coincide with Forbidden Door 2026 on Sunday, June 28th in San Jose, California! The winner of each tournament will then challenge for THE AEW World Championship and AEW Women’s World Championships on August 30th at All In: London! “Jungle” Jack Perry speaks.

“Mark Davis… I’m sure you feel some congratulations are in order. But you’re not champion to me. You see, you’re built like an Australia grizzly bear, yet you still needed somebody to hit me in the back with a golf club for you to beat me. At Stadium Stampede, bring your friends, bring any weapon you want, and I will crack you over the skull with it. Because anything goes. But after that, it’s back to grass roots, because it is you and me, fighting for a shot at the world title at All In: London. And in the Owen Hart Tournament, I will prove to you beyond a shadow of a doubt that I’m a better wrestler than you. I am the FUTURE world champion!

“And if you don’t like that, F YOU!” Jungle Jack is sharpening his knife, but will his edge be razor sharp when it comes time to cut down Dunkzilla?

Ace shoots through to waistlock but Ospreay switches. Ospreay hits the headlock takeover, Ace headscissors, but Ospreay kips free.

The fans cheer the standoff, and the two reset. They feel things out, knuckle lock, and go shoulder to shoulder in a Test of Strength. The fans rally as Ace pushes Ospreay back. Ace has Ospreay down for a knuckle lock cover, ONE as Ospreay gets his arm up. Ace pushes it down, cover, ONE as Ospreay gets the other arm up. Ace tries again, ONE as Ospreay bridges! Ace TAPS, Ospreay wins!!

Winner: Will Ospreay, by submission

That might’ve been Ospreay’s first win by submission ever! He signals that his neck is no longer a problem, and he shows Ace respect for that fight. Ace accepts the handshake again, and Ospreay is moving on towards Double or Nothing with a great amount of momentum. But wait! SAMOA JOE is here! He and The Opps walk out on stage, and with mic in hand, Joe says, “Ospreay, Ospreay… OSPREAY, OSPREAY!” Joe is clearly mocking the chants for Ospreay, and the fans give genuine chanting and even singing in return. Joe says he just wanted to make sure Ospreay was listening, because these past few weeks, it seemed like Ospreay had a hard time hearing him.

Despite Ospreay’s best efforts, fate has put them on a collision course in the opening round of the Owen Hart Cup. The fans like the sound of that! Joe say she is here for one reason and one reason alone. He wants to speak about choices and consequences. Ospreay could’ve made the right choice and get a bye in this tournament, because that is what Joe would do for one of his friends. But Ospreay chose poorly. He could’ve been with the team that would do nothing but support and enhance Ospreay, but he decided to be a lapdog for Moxley and the Death Riders. The fans boo, Ospreay says he’s not a Death Rider.

Joe says Ospreay has made his choice, and come Double or Nothing, Joe makes Ospreay suffer the consequences. But Joe leaves Ospreay in peace tonight, for he has his date with destiny. But unfortunately, Joe’s friends, Katsuyori Shibata & Anthony Bowens, still feel slighted, and he doesn’t put leashes on his friends. Shibata & Bowens storm down the ramp, Ospreay ready to fight them both if he has to. But then The Death Riders appear! Ospreay may not have officially joined the club, but the Death Riders aren’t going to let their investment go to waste! The Opps say they’re #NeverLacking, but that doesn’t seem to be the case now!

Shibata & Bowens back down while Moxley, Marina, Claudio, Yuta, Garcia & Pac all step up to support Ospreay. Joe says, “Soon. Soon.” The fans cheer the Death Riders, or at least Moxley, but Bowens promises Joe is gonna kill you, Ospreay! The dream match for Double or Nothing is on, but will the training with The Death Riders make Ospreay the new King of Harts?

BREAKING NEWS for next week!

If you liked last week’s THREE HOUR block of AEW, then you’ll love this next one! Portland, Maine, the last Wednesday before Double or Nothing, Dynamite & Collision are combining forces again! Three hours all on TBS and HBO Max, make sure your DVR is set accordingly!

Backstage interview with Don Callis & Konosuke Takeshita.

Renee is now with The Invisible Hand & The Alpha, saying tonight is a huge opportunity in the main event, Konosuke facing Darby Allin for THE AEW World Championship. Konosuke could be heading into Double or Nothing as a- Callis stops Renee there to say Konosuke will be heading into Double or Nothing as a DOUBLE champion! But then MJF steps in, apologizes for the interruption but says Renee’s doing a great job. The Scumbag tells Konosuke that while it’s been a minute since the two of them have talked, three years actually, back when MJF beat him… MJF has seen Konosuke develop into truly one of the best wrestlers in the world!

MJF believes that tonight, Konosuke beats Darby for the title, goes to DON to beat Okada, and MJF can’t think of a better match than Konosuke VS MJF Part 2 for the world title. How’s that sound? MJF offers a handshake, Konosuke shakes his hand, but in Japanese, Konosuke tells MJF that he’ll beat the crap out of him. Thankfully, MJF doesn’t know Japanese. Callis says that was a nice pep talk MJF just gave, and MJF says yes, he knows. That kid needs to win, okay? MJF can’t let Darby turn him into some disgusting, bald freak! No offense, Callis looks great. But look, there is only one foolproof way to know MJF won’t be put in that situation.

So if things get hairy… MJF hands over the Dynamite Diamond Ring! Callis smiles, and say she understands what to do with it. But then in steps Andrade. El Idolo takes off his hat to shake out his amazing head of hair, and smiles at MJF. MJF frowns and leaves. Callis says here’s the deal: Takeshita will bring the world title home to the Don Callis Family tonight! Andrade asks, “How you know?” Callis says aye dios mio, he seriously doesn’t know where Andrade learned English. Andrade says one way or another, the next time, that will be HIS title. Callis says yes, he knows, it’s all good. Callis is a man of many talents, but will his family be dripping with gold thanks to a diamond ring?

AEW now announces the Women’s Owen Hart Memorial Tournament brackets!

Double or Nothing will see Willow Nightingale, the reigning Queen of Harts, take on Alex Windsor, while we will see Persephone VS Hazuki, Skye Blue vs Sareee, and Mina Shirakawa VS Athena! Champions from around the world are gathering for this tournament, but who will be headed to Forbidden Door, and then All In: London?

Backstage interview with The Conglomeration.

Renee Paquette is now with Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong, and Willow Nightingale. Renee commends Cassidy on his part in the 10 Man Tag victory. But it seems that there is even more business to attend to. Cassidy says yes, the team has a shot at THE AEW World Tag Team Championships. It doesn’t matter who it is, they’re getting their shot, but the thing is… They still haven’t decided on which two will be. Kyle says Cassidy & Roddy should go for the gold, but Roddy shouts, “KYYYLE~! Thank you.” Kyle says of course. But that’s cuz he’s got gold to chase for himself!

The same man that put Kyle on the shelf for months is the man that Kyle submitted twice, and will submit again. Jon Moxley, Continental Champion, when are we doing this? Willow says speaking of gold, she is still the TBS Champion. But she is also in the Owen Hart Cup. She won this tournament before, she’ll do it all over again, so that she can have all the gold for herself at All In: London. She knows she can, and she will! Then Conglomeration has it all in order? Cassidy says hold on, there’s something missing. They should do a Word of the Day. Why haven’t they done one in so long? Roddy shouts for “MAAARK~!” And yes, Mark Briscoe returns!

The Sussex County Chicken is all fired up, and he says the Word of the day is reunification! For Mark Briscoe is back with his boys and his girls, The Conglomeration! But he’ll put this plain and simple: Tommaso Ciampa! Next Wednesday, Briscoe’s after your ass, son! You hear him? But before that, Saturday Night Collision is in HIS hometown, Salisbury, Maryland! That’s just 4.4 miles from where Briscoe originated on this earth! They’re gonna conglomerate and it’s gonna be a a hell of a time! Are you ready!? Willow and Kyle are fired up, Briscoe goes wild, and the team heads out. Cassidy admits, that was a lot of yelling.

But while The Conglomeration is ready to go Double or Nothing, will they soon have even more gold in the collection? Or are these high and lofty a little too much even for them?

Six Woman Tag: Hikaru Shida & The Brawling Birds VS The Triangle of Madness!

With the news of both the AEW Women’s World Championship Fatal 4 Way for Double or Nothing, and the Owen Hart Cup brackets, this trios match is about much more than just settling scores! Will the Shining Samurai be just as sharp as Jamie Hayter going into that title match? Or will Thekla, Skye Blue & Julia Hart continue to bring them down by any means necessary?

The trios sort out and Jamie steps up against Thekla as both a rematch from their 1v1 title match, and a preview of what’s to come in the next. They circle, but then Skye CLOBBERS Jamie! Julia steps in, but so do Shida and Windsor! The Triangle throws hands on Shida & The Birds, then triple whip. But all three reverse, a BOOT for Thekla, a DDT for Skye, and a BACKBREAKER for Julia! The fans cheer as The Triangle bails out! Shida goes out to keep after Skye while Windsor goes after Julia. Jamie gets Thekla back in the ring while Shida and Windsor have the Sisters of Sin in the corners of the barriers. The fans cheer as they all rain down fists!

Windsor, Jamie & Shida all go to nine, then wind up for TEN! The fans cheer again while Thekla sputters. Jamie snap suplexes, but Skye ROCKS Shida! Jamie stomps Thekla, Windsor SLAMS Julia off barriers, and Jamie stomps a mudhole in the corner. The ref counts, Jamie lets off, but Skye and Windsor meet while tightrope walking the barriers! Skye and Windsor trade shots, they wobble a bit, then Skye DECKS Windsor! Skye keeps from falling into the crowd, but Jamie gets her! Windsor joins in and the Birds double gorilla press, SNAKE EYES off the apron! The fans fire up, but Thekla is up top! SUPER CROSSBODY onto The Birds!

The fans fire up again and Thekla is feeling it while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Thekla stomps Windsor, CLUBS Jamie, then helps Skye. But Shida runs up, only for Thekla to ELBOW her down! The Triangle has control again, they ROCK Jamie and Shida and Windsor, then send them all to the desk. The Triangle CHOP again and again and again! Then they wind up, but feint chops to SMACK all three off the apron! The Triangle soaks up the cheers and jeers before putting Jamie back in the ring. Thekla brings Jamie up, snapmares her down, then basement SUPERKICKS! Cocky cover, TWO! Thekla drags Jamie to the corner, tags Julia, and Julia runs up to LARIAT! Then she goes side to side to ELBOW Jamie down!

Julia snapmares Jamie to a cover, TWO! Julia is annoyed but she rains down fists. The ref reprimands, Julia stops, but then she sucker punches Windsor! And Shida, too! Julia then drags Jamie over, bumps her off buckles, and tags in Skye. Skye stomps Jamie around, then digs her boot in! The ref counts, Skye stops at 4, then she brings Jamie up. Jamie fires forearms and CHOPS, but Skye THROWS Jamie down by her hair! The ref reprimands again but Skye rains down forearms. Skye snapmares Jamie, mule kicks her, then covers, TWO! Skye frowns but she stomps Jamie down. Skye tags Julia while Dynamite returns to single picture.

Skye whips Jamie into Julia’s grasp, and Skye BLASTS Shida & Windsor while Julia tags Thekla. Julia has Jamie in the TARANTULA, and Skye sends Windsor in for Thekla’s HANGING HEADSCISSORS! Skye runs up to DOUBLE SHOTGUN The Birds! The fans are torn but Thekla says that’s how the Triangle does it, baby! Thekla then aims to MISSILE- NO, Jamie gest under! Thekla lands out, but Jamie BOOTS her down! Jamie looks at Shida, Shida is hesitant, but Shida tags in! The fans cheer as Shida sends Theknla to the corner, then JUMP KNEES! Shida keeps moving, she BLASTS Skye! Julia ROCKS Shida back!

Julia storms in but Shida kicks her and whips her into Thekla! Shida KNEES them both in the corner! Then Shida puts Thekla sideways in the corner, reels Julia in, and she snap suplexes Julia into Thekla! The fans fire up as Shida then suplexes Thekla high and hard! Cover, TWO! Shida stands Thekla up, Thekla swings but Shida ROCKS her first! And ROCKS her again! Thekla wobbles, swings, but Shida catches Thekla for another forearm! Shida runs the ropes but Thekla mule kicks! Thekla SMACKS Shida, then she dodges a boot to DECK Shida! Thekla talks trash on Shida, then drags her up to tag in Julia.

Julia tags Skye, then tag back to Thekla. The Sisters of Sin hit the DOUBLE GOURD BUSTER and DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! Thekla hits the bridge, and she aims for the SPIDER SPEAR! Cover, but The Birds CLOBBER The Sisters of Sin onto it! The fans fire up a Windsor DECKS Skye and Jamie HEADBUTTS Julia! The Birds drag Shida to safety, Windsor tags in, and she CLOBBERS Thekla! Windsor CLUBS away, then fires the fans up. Jamie steps in, BOOT RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP COMBO! Basement LARIAT! And then Windsor lifts! Jamie runs up, but Skye trips Jamie! The fans boo but Skye sends Jamie into steel steps!

Thekla sends Windsor into buckles! Tag to Julia before Shida runs up, TAMASHII KNEE on Thekla! Skye SUPERKICKS Shida! Jamie is back to clinch and HAYTBREAKER! Julia runs up, slips around, SOLE FOOD! Julia kips up, but Windsor is there to whip Julia to ropes! Skye tags in before the SPINEBUSTER! Skye SUPERKICKS Windsor, then brings her up! Skye hops on, CODE- NO, Windsor pops free! Skye SUPERKICKS again, but Windsor HEADBUTTS! The fans fire up as Jamie joins in again, and they DOUBLE LARIAT SANDWICH! Then they set Skye up, and Jamie says let’s try this again!

Jamie runs the ropes, but Thekla slides in, BELT SHOT on Jamie!! No question that the ref saw that! The Triangle is disqualified!

Winners: Hikaru Shida & The Brawling Birds, by disqualification

The Toxic Spider doesn’t care about this win, she just wants to do damage! Skye gets Windsor in a DRAGON SLEEPER! The ref stops Thekla from sing the title belt again, so Thekla just takes off her own belt! And she LASHES Windsor while Skye holds her down! More refs rush out here, but Julia MISTS the newbie in the face! Julia stomps away on Jamie, not caring about fines or consequences, either! The fans boo, and Shida is bailing on the Birds? Shida cares more about her chances in that Fatal 4 Way than anything else. But then Willow, Mina, and even Thunder Rosa rush out here! They chase The Triangle off with belts of their own!

The fans cheer as The Babe, the Fighting Gravure Idol & La Mera Mera save the day. But will Jamie make sure Thekla and Shida pay for this at Double or Nothing?

AEW World Championship: Darby Allin VS Konosuke Takeshita!

They say “card subject to change,” and that is true even for the best in the world. Kazuchika Okada’s real family takes priority, but his Don Callis Family brother was more than happy to step up for this opportunity. Will The Alpha already have two belts by the time he and The Rainmaker battle over the International Championship? Or will Darby truly be relentless in his pursuit of being the best fighting champion in AEW history?

The introductions are made, THE belt is raised, and we see who goes to Double or Nothing on top!

Callis joins commentary to say that while Darby’s been breaking his own body, Konosuke has perfected “rejuvenation training,” aka relaxing on a beach and sipping sake! The bell rings, and Darby SHOTGUNS Konosuke out! Then Darby DIVES, but Konosuke catches him! Konosuke POSTS Darby, then THROWS him into railing! Konosuke THROWS Darby into the ring, the fans fire up for both guys, and Konosuke hurries to BOOT Darby off the apron! Darby falls in front of commentary but Konosuke gets him right back in the ring. Cover, ONE!! The fans rally as Darby shows his grit, but Konosuke snarls.

Konosuke drags Darby up, Darby fires forearms, but the ALPHA ELBOW knocks Darby down! The fans fire up while Konosuke looms over Darby. Konosuke stands Darby up, and THROWS him into a corner! Darby bounces off the buckles and is bleeding from the mouth already! Konosuke stands Darby up, hoists him up top, then he climbs up after him. But Darby BITES Konosuke, CLUBS him down, and leaps for a CROSSBODY, but he bounces off Konosuke! The fans fire up again as Konosuke whips Darby for a BACKDROP! Darby got serious hangtime there, and he flounders out of the ring. Darby coughs and sputters but the fans rally up.

Konosuke goes out after Darby but Darby SMACKS him! Konosuke KNEES low, KNEES him again and again and again! Konosuke KNEES Darby against the barriers, then refreshes the count. Konosuke whips Darby hard into railing! Darby sputters as he leans against the railing, but Konosuke positions the steel steps. Konosuke then fetches Darby, lines up a shot, but Darby fights the suplex! Darby CLAWS Konosuke’s back, then fires a shot. Konosuke DECKS Darby in return! Darby slumps against the steps, Konosuke runs up, but Darby dodges! Konosuke’s knees hit the steps and he tumbles over! Darby then runs up the steps to SHOTGUN Konosuke down!

The fans fire up while both men are down on the floor! Konosuke checks his knee before he crawls around, and Darby gets in the ring so he can build speed! Darby DIVES! Direct hit on Konosuke but Darby’s the one who hits the desk! The fans fire up while both men are down again, but Darby rises up to get Konosuke on the apron! Darby fires forearms, then goes up a corner! COFFIN- NO, Konosuke catches him for a SUPER BLUE THUNDER BOMB to the floor!! The fans go nuts again and Callis says that’s the end of Darby Allin, but Dynamite goes picture in picture.

The ref hurries to check Darby but Callis tells Doc Sampson to call it. Darby is somehow still in this, so Konosuke storms his way over. Konosuke drags Darby up, puts him in the ring, then paces around him. Konosuke runs the ropes to LARIAT! Darby flips inside-out, Konosuke covers him, TWO!! Darby still has fight inside but he’s also dazed. Konosuke clamps onto Darby with a chinlock and squeezes tight. Darby endures, even as Konosuke leans on him with his much-taller frame. Darby reaches out, fights around, and rises up, only for Konosuke to CANADIAN RACK BOMB! Darby sputters all over again while Dynamite returns to single picture.

Konosuke sits back as he watches Darby crawl to the apron. Konosuke storms his way over, but Darby RAMS low! Slingshot sunset flip, but Konosuke rolls through! Only for Darby to kick the legs out! Darby catches Konosuke to a GUILLOTINE! Konosuke endures the squeeze, fights up to his feet, and he powers out to THROW Darby! Darby lands out, fires shots, and RAMS low! Darby then hops on, but Konosuke stops Code Red! Konosuke swings Darby around, tucks him in, BASTARD DRIVER! And WHEELBARROW GERMAN! The fans fire up and Callis says that’s true power! Darby sputters again and Konosuke vows to end this.

Konosuke runs corner to corner, HELLUVA KICK!! Then he hoists Darby up top, climbs up after him, and goes to the very top! The fans freak out already for the SUPER DUPER GERMAN SUPLEX!! Bridging cover, TWO!!! Callis is freaking out as much as the fans, and he protests the count! Konosuke is furious, but he aims for the WAGAMAMA KNEE!!! Cover, TWO?!?! Darby survives by nanoseconds, and Konosuke is beside himself! “This is Awesome!” but now CLØN rushes out here! He distracts the ref, and Callis hurries to take the Dynamite Diamond Ring off his finger to put it in Konosuke’s hands! Konosuke thinks about it, but The Alpha has honor!

The fans cheer as Konosuke wants to do this his way! But then Darby runs up, cradles, TWO!! Konosuke escapes, ALPHA ELBOW!! Darby is down, dazed, but still moving! Konosuke drags Darby up again, goes back to the corner and back to the top rope. The fans hope these two “FIGHT FOREVER!” but it has to end somehow! Darby fights against the lift with headlock punches! Then he hops on, SUPER CODE RED!! Konosuke staggers up, Darby leg scissors, steps through, LAST SUPPER!! TWO?!?! Konosuke escapes again, then bails out! So Darby just goes up top! SUPER COFFIN DROP!! Direct hit and both men are down again!

The fans are thunderous as Konosuke and Darby stir. A ring count climbs, Callis complains that some people just gotta follow directions and run the play! Coach Callis pulled Konosuke outta obscurity, Konosuke would do anything! Now he’s got some gold, some fame, and gets a mind of his own! Callis complaining aside, the ring count is climbing! Darby drags himself in at 9, but Konosuke YANKS him back out! That refreshes the count, and Konosuke vows to end this for real now. Konosuke points to the steel steps, and he drags Darby up onto them with a deadlift RAGING- NO, Darby knees Konosuke, turns things around, and FULL METAL SCORPION DEATH DROP!!!

The fans go nuts again while Konosuke writhes! Konosuke flops off the steps, Darby crawls into the ring, and Darby just climbs the corner again! SUPER DUPER COFFIN DROP!!! Konosuke might be unconscious! Darby still hauls Konosuke into the ring, pushes him to a cover, TWO?!?!? Konosuke survives and Darby is furious! But Darby just reloads, COFFIN DROP but onto knees!!! Ghost pin, TWO!!! Darby escapes but the WAGAMAMA KNEE finds him!! Konosuke hauls Darby up, but Darby pops free! Trip, step through, and SCORPION DEATH LOCK!!! Konosuke endures, reaches out, but Darby sits deep!!

Callis says don’t even think about it! Konosuke almost does, but he bites his own thumb to ignore the pain in his back! Konosuke reaches out, crawls his way forward, and he fights to the ROPEBREAK!!! But Darby is right up top! COFFION DROP on the back!! Then Darby goes right back up, COFFIN DROP again!!! Cover, DARBY WINS!!

Winner: Darby Allin, by pinfall (still AEW World Champion)

Callis is steaming, but Darby overcomes Konosuke to avenge that loss in the Continental Classic! But it also took so much out of him just to do it! Darby still asks for a mic and one is brought to him. Darby sits up against the ropes, has them cut his music, and he tells MJF to get his ass out here! There’s a contract MJF needs to sign! The ring crew hurries to bring in a table and some chairs for that very contract signing, and MJF makes his entrance. MJF reluctantly makes his way down the ramp, and both men meet at the table. Darby grins with blood still in hiss teeth, and he signs his part of the contract without hesitation, unlike MJF.

The fans already chant “BALD! BALD! BALD!” at MJF, and Darby pushes the contract to his side of the table. MJF grabs the pen, reaches out, but then steps away. MJF scratches his chin as he thinks on this, and the fans just chant, “BALD! BALD! BALD!” again. MJF takes a mic to say he’ll explain something to Darby, looking like he has rabies. But see, MJF is happy for Darby, he hopes Darby’s had fun holding MJF’s AEW World Championship. The fans boo that, but MJF says deep down, there is a small part of him, like the size of a North Carolinian p*nis small. That small part of MJF feels bad for Darby, because he’ll never hold this again!

Darby’s got about a good a chance of holding this title as Hangman Adam Page does again. MJF says guys like Darby are a dime a dozen, here today and gone tomorrow, stuntmen who burn the candle at both ends. In this life, people like all these fans here like to pretend that life is about making friends and family and children. The only thing that matters in life is your legacy. And Darby’s legacy will be that of the kid who had his 15 minutes of fame. They’ll pretend like Darby made a lasting impact, but the fact of the matter is, he hasn’t. He hasn’t! They’ll know deep down that Darby Allin was just a little pr*ck who got lucky.

They’ll know that Darby was too reckless and stupid to stay on top. And after May 24th, Double or Nothing, in that sh*thole of Queens, New York, y’know what MJF’s legacy will be? He’ll go down as the guy who became a THREE-TIME World Champion at just 30 years of age, unprecedented in this sport. And MJF will go down, when it’s all said and done, as the Greatest of All Time! THAT is the difference between them! Darby Allin brags about climbing a mountaintop. But when it comes to professional wrestling, Maxwell Jacob Friedman IS the mountaintop! The fans boo but MJF soaks it up. Darby tells MJF to SHUT UP!

Only someone like MJF who is so vain would think that the number one most important thing in this world is his legacy. Darby doesn’t care about legacy, he cares about living in the moment! And in this moment, Darby just wants MJF to sign the contract. Then at Double or Nothing, Darby makes Maxwell Jacob Friedman a BALLD HEADED B*TCH!! MJF frowns but the fans cheer that! MJF grabs the pen again, and with no choice, he signs on the dotted line! Then he TACKLES Darby! The fans boo as MJF beats up Darby after the war he went through with Konosuke! MJF CHUCKS an armchair outta the ring, FLIPS the table, then picks up his Dynamite Diamond Ring.

MJF puts the ring on his finger like always, then winds up to DECK Darby!! The fans boo but MJF just soaks it all up. MJF throws off his jacket, picks up the belt, and he stands over Darby with it. But then MJF isn’t done with Darby, he puts Darby on the top rope! MJF climbs up to join him, and drags Darby into position! But wait! Kevin Knight runs out here to chase MJF off! The Jet still owes The Scumbag a receipt, but it seems we’ll all have to wait on that. Will MJF still take back the title at Double or Nothing? Or will Darby keep the belt and take MJF’s dignity?

My Thoughts:

An awesome episode for Dynamite as things heat up towards Double or Nothing. Awesome 10 Man Tag to open, great win for the Faces, not that it added much to FTR VS C&C. Good promo from Jericho to look back on Stadium Stampede and hype up this year’s match. Good promo from The Demand with Davis and The Dogs, and I suppose this maximizes the feuds as well as the alliances throughout the locker room. Who knows who wins but the match will still be awesome, just as the original was. Good promo from Conglomeration, too, Cassidy & Roddy going after FTR while Kyle VS Moxley happens on the side, that’s great stuff.

Speaking of Moxley, great promo from him and Ospreay. Moxley’s semi-turn has really brought out his sage philosophical side. Great match from Ospreay VS Ace, and while Ospreay could always bring out his aggression, seeing him use more technical wrestling and even winning with a submission is good stuff. Good promo from Joe, and I liked Death Riders backing Ospreay up. Very good Owen Hart Cup brackets this year, Joe VS Ospreay is a great choice given this story, but I would think Ospreay wins that one. Good promo from Jack Perry to call out Davis, and I suppose Jack can win in the Owen Cup to then move on from the National title.

Great seeing Brian Cage back, he gave Knight an awesome match, but with JetSpeed wanting to go on a Two Man Power Trip, it makes sense Kevin won out. Same for Bailey beating Westbrook, even though Westbrook maybe went too hard on his own acrobatic escape. Great stuff in the Six Woman Tag, and I appreciate Shida didn’t ditch until after the match. Willow, Mina & Rosa might get their own Six Woman Tag with Triangle of Madness after that interaction, but also can’t wait to see if Willow can go back-to-back as Queen of Harts. For that matter, I personally would love to see Athena use the Owen Cup to move on from being ROH Women’s World Champion, but that depends on how Supercard of Honor goes this Friday.

And of course, another wild instant classic from Darby as he overcomes Takeshita. I knew the diamond ring would come into play with that reverse effect, good way of protecting Takeshita in the loss. Good stuff with MJF tonight, too, such as the opening segment’s parade of bald men to send the message to MJF. That was also a unique contract signing segment in that it came together so quickly after the main event match. Good stuff from MJF as always, and of course he attacks Darby. I feel like either Knight should not have made the save, or both parts of JetSpeed should’ve made the save. It just seems odd that only Knight cared about saving Darby. The closing moment was much better when it was MJF standing over Darby with the belt.

My Score: 9/10
