Nyla Rose Set for Marigold Debut at May 23 Anniversary Show
Former AEW Women’s World Champion Nyla Rose is scheduled to make her Marigold debut at the promotion’s second anniversary show on May 23 at Ota Ward Gymnasium in Tokyo. Rose, who has been wrestling in Japan since May 5 for Marvelous and Tenryu Project, will team with Nagisa Nozaki, Nightshade and Johnnie Robbie to face Natsumi Showzuki, Nao Ishikawa, Koshino SYOKO and Angel Hayze; Rose and Nightshade captured the AAAW Tag Team titles at Marvelous’ 10th Anniversary on May 5.
Marigold, run by Stardom founder Rossy Ogawa and operating with a working relationship with WWE, will air the eight-match Shine Forever card live on Wrestle Universe and features several high-profile matchups, including multi-woman bouts and a TwinStar title match. The announcement continues Marigold’s trend of bringing international stars into its expanding Tokyo shows as it celebrates its second year.

wXw alleges TrillerTV has delayed payments since October, says company stopped responding
AEW recently filed a lawsuit against TrillerTV over alleged overdue payments, and now Germany’s Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw) says it has experienced similar issues. wXw wrote under an Instagram post that TrillerTV has been delaying payments since last October and has stopped responding to their emails.
The claim adds to growing concern among promotions and talent about TrillerTV’s payment practices and business communications. With AEW pursuing legal action and wXw going public, pressure is mounting for TrillerTV to address outstanding obligations and provide clarity to its partners.
